It's the second time we ordered food here. We really enjoyed the food both times. Since we didn't eat in the restaurant, I can't rate the atmosphere and service there. My rating relates solely to the experience with the order. The delivery came very quickly, we waited at most 20 minutes. The delivery person was also very friendly. This time we ordered Chicken Saag (mild) and Chili Chicken (mild) as our main courses, plus extra garlic naan. The menu also included a Fanta. I've been a big fan of the sauce from the "Saag dishes" since I tried Lamm Saag last time. According to the menu, the sauce consists of spinach, tomatoes, pepperoni and a curry tomato sauce. The chicken in both dishes was very tasty and tender. However, this time there was a little too much cumin in the chili chicken for our taste. The garlic naan was also very good, especially when it was still warm. With the light garlic flavor it is a special treat. Gladly again!

I knew the snack bar from before and the food was always great. After years I was now nearby and thought I would eat something there. New owner and not as inviting for a long time, it doesn't matter - the main thing is that it tastes good. At first the plate looked okay, but when I tried it, I realized that the salad consisted of 2 tablespoons and tasted sour, the dips consisted of 1 tablespoon each of chutney and unseasoned yogurt (yogurt should be mint sauce), the meat was dry and the rice was completely normal and only slightly yellowish. I didn't finish it because it was just dry and I couldn't find a single Indian spice. Only the red-colored meat is reminiscent of Indian cuisine. I'm at a loss for words, this meal was an insult to the great Indian cuisine

Typical old building shop in Ottensen, ok, but also getting old. We were there as a group on New Year's Eve and a buffet was offered. I'll keep it short: Two "main courses" to choose from, the rest, which were on the left and right, were not very appealing and so I didn't take any of them or try them. The dishes were ok, nothing more and nothing less. I could hardly see what it was about and the small boards, which were filled out by hand, hardly seemed informative, let alone appealing. For dessert there was rice pudding, which was very good, and some piece of cake or something like that. The store was only moderately busy, but no one came by to ask if everything was okay. Even when the order was taken at the table, there was no eye contact and I had to call after them. And there wasn't even a thank you when paying, perhaps he thought his tip wasn't enough. But I was annoyed that I had given the four euros at all - because the food was far too expensive, far too little choice, zero courteous service with a manageable operation and then there was no thank you... phew, so I'll never be an Indian again. ✌️

Took Navaratan Curry and rice. food taste was ok type. Ordered via uber eats. Curry Portion was ok for one person. This is ok for quite bite with economical price.
