Unfortunately no Indian food. Spices were almost completely missing. Food was overcooked. The wine was served in a dirty glass. No enjoyment.

We got ToGo here. The food was completely okay and plentiful. Everything is suitable for a small hunger.

There were four of us who ate there and each of us really enjoyed their food. The service was attentive and the prices were really fair. It was a nice evening

I had dinner there with my girlfriend, and it was absolutely delicious! The service was super friendly. We particularly enjoyed the butter chicken, even though it's not on the menu, so feel free to ask! The mango lassi is also highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

Chicken Biryani was full of flavour and the staff was helpful and interactive.

The portions are large and good for the price. But it's just take away food. The curry tasted pretty good, but the naan really didn't taste like anything. The consistency was quite hard and not as fluffy as you would normally expect from an Indian dish.

I knew the snack bar from before and the food was always great. After years I was now nearby and thought I would eat something there. New owner and not as inviting for a long time, it doesn't matter - the main thing is that it tastes good. At first the plate looked okay, but when I tried it, I realized that the salad consisted of 2 tablespoons and tasted sour, the dips consisted of 1 tablespoon each of chutney and unseasoned yogurt (yogurt should be mint sauce), the meat was dry and the rice was completely normal and only slightly yellowish. I didn't finish it because it was just dry and I couldn't find a single Indian spice. Only the red-colored meat is reminiscent of Indian cuisine. I'm at a loss for words, this meal was an insult to the great Indian cuisine

We were once again at Shikara, Bahrenfeld with our family. It’s our favourite restaurant in Hamburg. The food and service are excellent. All the staff are so friendly and efficient. Very good value for money. Sue

Took Navaratan Curry and rice. food taste was ok type. Ordered via uber eats. Curry Portion was ok for one person. This is ok for quite bite with economical price.

Good selection of deliciously prepared dishes. The menu also includes vegan and vegetarian dishes. Mainly as a delivery service but you can also eat in the restaurant or on the terrace.
