Shikara Quick in Hamburg

It's a very small but cozy snack bar. The butter chicken with rice was a dream. The mango lassi was also fantastic. I've never had such a good lassi. It was spicy and not as sweet as other lassis you've come across. Nevertheless, the mango fruit came through well. What was really annoying were the small flies; especially when we got the balloon bread with garlic, the flies were out of control. The restroom was also unfortunately a bit small and cold. Therefore, I only give it 4 out of 5 stars for the ambiance.

The food was a 10/10, especially the tikka curry and the sauce that came with it. The music inside was a bit loud and the prices were a bit high. The Neotaste app is accepted.

At the shikara we tried a mixture of intense, fresh and quality flavours. The vegetable pakora is very good. We'll be back!

Small shop, nicely decorated. The staff were a bit haphazard. The food came quickly. Unfortunately, unlike other reviewers, I personally don't think the value for money is good. Average vegetarian korma, a single raisin in it, no nuts, no complexity, bland. Just under €15 (!!!) The shop is cramped, and the huge dog of the customer next to me was happily lapping up its water and shaking itself out right next to me. Not so appetizing. The mango lassi was good. I definitely won't be back.

I ordered the Butter chicken with a 20% reduced price. When the food came I was shocked... the portion was so small that is impossible to fill up an adult's belly. It's not even half of a normal portion compare to any other Indian restaurant in town. So the price was actually not reduced at all... it's a scam!! Taste was so-so, not authentic, too sweet, never again!

I found this small and fine Indian restaurant in the Schanzenviertel by chance and tried it out straight away. The food tasted delicious, it was freshly prepared and seasoned well, but not too hot. I had Chicken Tikka and can fully recommend it. The employees are very friendly. It's a shame that there isn't this restaurant where I live.

Small, cozy Indian restaurant with a clear menu. The curries etc. are prepared quickly and freshly, the salad dressing and dips seem to be more ready-made products. Order and drink selection at the counter, then served at your seat. Fair prices for the portions.

I haven't had such good curry in a long time. I can only recommend the lamb jalfrezi! I'll definitely be back 😮‍💨

We were visiting Hamburg over Pentecost and discovered or smelled the Shikara while exploring the ski jump. My best friend was attracted to the scents right from the start and her nose didn't disappoint. The great value for money, cozy atmosphere, totally warm but not intrusive service and leaving the restaurant at the end with a well-filled stomach and nice conversations are all reasons to give this place 5 stars. I can't report any ready-made food or poor preparation - the ingredients were fresh and the dish was seasoned authentically Indian.

Food ok, but won't eat there again. Not particularly clean despite renovation. Toilet next to kitchen and storing food. Real disaster! I was really disgusted. Toilet could also be cleaner.

We were here last night and we really enjoyed it. Very nice staff and the food was tasty too. Very large selection of food. We had daal. On the menu, the meat dishes are declared Halal - which is great for Muslims.

Small but awesome. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very small and therefore only offers a few seats, but it is lovingly and neatly furnished. You can get good, simple Indian dishes here, freshly prepared in front of the guests for consumption on site or to take away. In terms of taste, the food was really good, fresh and the portions were quite large. The men at the stove were very friendly despite the high number of guests.

Ich hatte ein wunderbar leckeres Indisches Lamm Biryani! Und super nette Bedienung :) Ich komme gerne bald wieder.

Meine Kollegen und ich waren heute dort. Wir hatten ein mixteller bestellt, das sehr lecker war. Die Dame war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Portion war großzügig. Der Laden ist schön gestaltet und sehr liebevoll. Wir waren sehr überrascht über so viel Herzlichkeit wir kommen wieder

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, für uns gab es heute von allem etwas zu Mittag. Die Dame war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam wir haben uns so richtig wohl gefühlt, es ist sehr schön gestaltet die Kunstwerke an der Wand sowie die Kerzen macht das shikara zu einem perfekten Ort, das Essen war richtig lecker. Uns alles hat es gemundet wir waren nach Stunden immer noch satt. Der basmsti reis war sensationell bei vielen andern Läden vermissen wir das. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen wer in guter Ambiente mit tollen Gerichten ein Hauch von indien haben will ist hier richtig

Ich freue mich immer wieder dort essen zu gehen. Seit Jahren meine nr. Was indisch essen angeht. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr freundlich und das Essen hat mich bis jetzt nicht enttäuscht.

Das Shikara bietet gutes indisches Essen zu einem wirklich fairen Preis. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat uns gut bedient. Die Küche ist offen und sah, ebenso wie das Restaurant sauber aus. Das Essen hat auch wirklich gut geschmeckt. Leider sind die kaum vorhandenen Sitzmöglichkeiten sehr eng. Ansonsten eine klare Empfehlung wert!

Heute Nachmittag habe ich das Shikara in der Susannenstraße entdeckt. Ich hatte die Nr. 34 das Lamm Biryani es war ziemlich lecker. Die junge Dame war sehr bemüht bei der Auswahl zu helfen. Eine nette Unterhaltung gab es kostenlos dazu. Ziemlich toller Laden. liebe Grüße von Lisa & Susanne.

Ich war bei Shikara Quick und möchte meine Erfahrung gerne teilen. Das Highlight meines Besuchs war zweifellos das köstliche Lamm Spinat, das ich bestellt habe. Das Gericht war perfekt zubereitet und hatte eine wunderbare Kombination aus zartem Lammfleisch und frischem Spinat. Die Gewürze waren perfekt abgestimmt und verliehen dem Gericht. Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss und ich konnte nicht genug davon bekommen. Neben dem fantastischen Essen war auch der Service im shikara Quick war super. Das Personal war freundlich, aufmerksam und immer bereit, meine Fragen zu beantworten und Empfehlungen zu geben. Sie waren stets bemüht, sicherzustellen, dass ich mich wohl fühlte und meinen Besuch in vollen Zügen genießen konnte. Die Atmosphäre im Shikara war ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und gemütlich, was zu einem entspannten und einladenden Ambiente beitrug. Es war der perfekte Ort, um eine Mahlzeit in guter Gesellschaft zu genießen.

Das Shikara Quick bietet eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und exzellenten Service. Heute habe ich dort das vegetarische Biryani genossen und war äußerst zufrieden.
