Great food, very authentic Indian.

First stay in Hamburg, during my stay I tried other restaurants but the taste was not great.. friends from Germany strongly advised me to go eat at this address, being a fan of Indian cuisine I found the flavors and the service at the top with a warm welcome!!! I highly recommend I will come back on my next vacation

Very tasty food and very friendly

I ordered here because the delivery time was stated as 25 to 35 minutes. Unfortunately the food only came after an hour and a half. I understand that sometimes there may be delays due to high order volume or traffic, but notification would be the minimum. Several calls went unanswered, which was further frustrating. I would like the restaurant to either provide more realistic delivery times or inform customers of any delays. Better accessibility by telephone would also be helpful.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I read all the negative reviews but nevertheless decided to give this place a chance through Uber Eats. Big mistake. The food never came.... We waited for an hour and tried to call them but no one picked up. Horrible and suspicious overall.

Be careful of this store! I would give 0 stars if I could. We ordered through UberEats and the food was never delivered! We couldn't reach anyone by phone and were even pushed away later. This store doesn't seem to care about its customers...

I've been ordering from Delhi cooking on and off for about 2 years now and I think the vegetarian/vegan dishes are very good! The samosas are especially great! We recommend! The only drawback and therefore a star deduction is that delivery sometimes takes a long time and I would therefore recommend ordering a little earlier.

Ordered on Uber Eats, took 1.5 hours to arrive and when it did it was repulsive, weird tasting probably cooked 2 days ago, worst food I’ve had in a long time

Food arrived an hour after the stated delivery time. The butter chicken only contained 3 bite-sized pieces of meat, the sauce tasted ok

Instead of the delivery time of 34 minutes confirmed on Lieferando, the food only arrived after 1 hour and 50 minutes, which was a shame. At least it was still warm and tasted quite tasty.

Eating is a waste of food! Cannot be reached by phone, at a different address than listed on Lieferando. Essential items were missing from the order, making everything inedible. Fried starter was from yesterday, just dry and the entire meal tasted fatal. Hands off, make some toast, have more of it!

Be careful, scammers only deliver half of the products ordered! However, I won't pay the money again, I will report this and never order here again and won't recommend it to anyone. Try it out for yourself, give them a call, the number isn't in use, it's all a bit sus ;)

Conclusion after 6 orders 4x was really good 5⭐️ Twice I was missing the spices to taste (like today, for example) which is a shame 2⭐️ Highly recommended in itself, but unfortunately it doesn't always have a happy ending

Stay away from the store. As the other reviews say, delivery was over an hour later than stated. They turned off the phone so you can't reach them either. Food tastes weak.

I ordered the Gulmi Chicken here. There were no beans in it as stated and the seasoning was rather light for Indian food. Likewise the Raita. Simply bland. Garlic naan super dry and burnt. I won't order again.

The vegetarian dishes are great and intense in taste. The starters are addictive. Added to this is nice delivery and extremely courteous employees.

Absolute impudence. Restaurant doesn't answer the phone. Lieferando said it would take 30 minutes. That was already 1.5 hours ago. Just don't order here. We will demand the money back!

How can I say... First and last time we order from this restaurant. The paneer tikka had the consistency of a rubber sole and the marinade had no taste. On the other hand, we had a little burnt taste. The chilli paneer was not better... No chilli, a kind of slightly sweet curry and poor quality rice. Obviously rubbery paneer. They undoubtedly do quality things considering the number of stars... But avoid the paneer. Yes... It takes a long time to deliver... even though the address is not rocket science. We couldn't eat more than one bite. The photos are from after dinner... And there were 3 of us!!! We really wasted 28 euros.

Decent portion of rice with butter chicken to fill even hungry guys. Pleasant spice in the tomato sauce that doesn't require a liter of milk. If you like it a lot spicier, you can definitely get a portion of chilli on top. Staff always very pleasant and communicative. Round thing! 🙏

DO NOT ORDER HERE. Ordered 3.5 hours ago, waited for order between 8:30-9 p.m. received at 9:40 p.m. The food doesn't taste good and calls haven't been responded to for 40 minutes. Orders on Uber eats were reported as delivered on time so that their times were not falsified. It doesn't work at all.

Regular guest and always very satisfied. A lot of heart goes into the work here and the food tastes excellent. The crew is like a big family and I always enjoy coming here or ordering here. Lieferando and Uber Eats (in my opinion a much better choice) are also possible. Amex works too.

If you want to order here. I advise you against it. Doesn't arrive at all or delivery would have taken 1.5 hours even though it was only 10 minutes away from the location. Then after 1.5 hours the order was simply marked as delivered and you have to figure out how to get the refund yourself. Conclusion: no food + waited 1.5 hours + see that you get a refund

UPDATE: An attempt was made to have the review below legally deleted. More than questionable store. Original review: Food was ok, delivery was great! The dishes were pretty bland for Indian cuisine. What I find much worse is that obviously all the vegetables are frozen products, you can tell that with the first bite - so please take out "with fresh vegetables" from the descriptions, that's misleading. The naan was quite sticky.

So 30 minutes after the stated delivery time there was still nothing, I tried calling. Either busy or dial tone and no one answered. I drove to the store after 80 minutes and what I saw was a disaster: The Lieferando boxes were piled up, on chairs, on the counter. When I asked where my order was, a man pulled out my bill from one of the lower boxes... I don't know how long my food had been there waiting to be picked up, but of course I didn't take it with me and canceled it. Edit to answer: Which discount? The lady, who was very nice but completely overwhelmed by the situation, didn't offer me a discount and she couldn't tell me how long the food had been there - she didn't even know it was ready. And then I'm supposed to take it with me - no discount would have helped. By the way, I stood at the counter for several minutes and had to shout loudly before anyone even noticed me. In the entire time there wasn't a Lieferando driver there to take anything away. Please think about your processes before you throw something to your customers. Because again: After 80 minutes I had to drive to you because you simply ignored your phone.

Ordered via uber eats, very long waiting time for the food, about 1.5 hours. Unfortunately it was almost cold. Butter paneer was OK in itself, the paneer could have used a marinade. However, the rice was extremely bad, completely tasteless, watery and of poor consistency. I have never had such bad rice from an Indian restaurant/delivery service. Vegetable pakora was still OK but didn't taste fresh either. I won't order again.

Had the Garlic Tikka (spicy). It was pretty tasty, but unfortunately not spicy at all and kind of dry as it was just two pieces of meat with lots of salad. Overall, a rather poor price-performance ratio.

Ordered there this evening and the food arrived quickly. The taste was okay, but it didn't blow you away, hence 3 stars. The garlic on the garlic naan was bitter, we usually know the butter chicken differently (but it didn't taste bad) and the third dish was with frozen vegetables and quite sober, even though it was advertised as "spicy".

Food arrived spilled. After calling the restaurant we were offered to send new food, but unfortunately the timing didn't work out. We were then assured that we would get our money back. Everyone can form their own opinion, but for us it wasn't a good impression.

Das Essen war bisher immer super lecker, aber leider ist es bei Bestellung immer so, das eine relativ kurze Wartezeit angegeben wird und es dann 2 Std dauert bis das Essen da ist. Heute kam die Lieferung gar nicht an und im Restaurant ging niemand ans Telefon. Schluss endlich wurde dann bei Lieferando der Lieferstatus als geliefert angegeben - geht meiner Meinung nach leider nicht. Schade. Werde nicht mehr dort bestellen.

Been over 2 hours since we have placed an order on Lieferando. No food yet and no response from the restaurant - no one answers the phone!! If you cannot manage your deliveries, Do Not take orders for delivery!!! What kind of service is this? Pathetic!!

Ordered 1.5 hour ago. No updates are provided no one is picking up the phone. Tried calling them 18 times. I know phone number is correct as same number was going busy while i called them 18+times. Food hasnt arrived yet while i was typing this review.. god knows how much more i have to wait. One thing is for sure that will never again.

This is the 14,50€ butter chicken. Ordered on uber eats. Extremely convex take-out containers, thus pretty small portion, check the fork. It was edible but not delicious - could use much more love. Unfortunately cannot recommend.

Kann ich nur empfehlen. Trotz des Verkehrs, den Baustellen und Umleitungen und des schlechten Wetters, kam das Essen mit wenigen Minuten Verspätung aber frisch und warm in die 5. Etage ohne Fahrstuhl. Viele Menschen haben für eine kleine Verspätung kein Verständnis, weil diese Menschen mit dem Magen denken und nicht mit dem Verstand ;) Delhi Cooking, Bravo... Weiter so!

Ordered in Uber eats from this store, there was good offering for butter chicken and it was really delicious. Wish it would be more spicy. But so good. Saved this store for future and will order again 1000%. Also the bread was really delicious!

Ich bin mittlerweile Stammkunde bei Delhi Cooking und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. Konstante Qualität, sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben sogar kurz vor Schluss (22:00Uhr) noch Essen über Lieferando bestellen können und es wurde geliefert! Sehr vorbildlich! Geschmacklich auch immer lecker. Haben schon häufiger dort bestellt.

The food is quite tasty but it took over 1.5 hours to arrive, so my husband called to ask what’s up. The person he spoke to was apologetic and explained that my mango lassi had accidentally been spilled on the way so that would be delivered later. After about 1 hour and 45 minutes our tasty but lukewarm food arrived. Then my lassi took another hour to arrive. Won’t be ordering from there again.

Sehr leckeres authentisches Essen!

Ich habe an einem Donnerstag Nachmittag 2x vegan Aloo Gobhi via Uber Eats bestellt. Erfreulicherweise kam die Lieferung innerhalb von nur 20 Minuten an - 15 Minuten schneller als die frühst angegeben Lieferzeit. Das Essen war heiß, frisch und extrem lecker. Mir hat die Würzung auch sehr gefallen. Der Reis war locker-luftig und hat gut dazu gepasst. Werde auf jeden Fall nochmal bestellen 🙂

Das Essen von Delhi Cooking hat hervorragend geschmeckt, es war auf den Punkt gewürzt. Selten so gute Erfahrung mit einem bestellten Essen gemacht. Lieferung hat perfekt geklappt: Kontakt sehr freundlich, das Essen heiß und gut verpackt. Auf jeden Fall bestellen wir wieder. Vielen Dank 😊
