Fantastic food and great service

Frank is a great host and chef. We would be happy to recommend his individually compiled menus. He is very attuned to the wishes of his guests. Highlights: The view from the room and the salad creation! We'd love to come back!

A beautiful 3 star hotel in Landsberg. The hotel is in a country house style, but still modern and very clean. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very lovingly prepared. Coffee of your choice is made fresh by the nice service ladies and brought to the table. We liked it very much. If we are in the area, we will definitely come back again.

We were completely satisfied! Service was very open-minded and our requests were responded to flexibly. The room was clean and cozy. Price-performance ratio corresponds to the full range. It is very comfortably furnished and also something for children to admire. (Porcelain dolls in the hallway) We can warmly recommend this hotel.

We were on the way back from Lake Garda, we really enjoyed the beautiful place here.

Although there was little going on on a Wednesday evening, it took 1.5 hours for the food to be served. My pepper carp was very well peppered, others in our group complained about over-salted carp. Generally speaking, no one really enjoyed the meal. There was also no apology for the long waiting time or that the landlord had offered an espresso or something similar. Despite the thirst and empty glasses, the innkeeper took his time. We had to call for him to come and pick up the drinks. Almost as if he wanted to call it a day...

The accommodation “Zum goldenen Anker” is located in the middle of the beautiful old town center of Coburg. The hotel is perfectly located and has a garage and a few outdoor parking spaces. Otherwise there are no parking options in the surrounding area. The staff/owners are super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and large. The breakfast was excellent. There is even the opportunity to freshly squeeze oranges and have omelettes or fried eggs made. Due to the very winding design, you can quickly get lost. We felt very comfortable these days.

Nice quiet place, nice panaroma and very good food. Staff, especially around food, are one of the best we've ever met. 5 stars! Will return.

Unfortunately, you can no longer feel comfortable here. The rooms and the entire hotel have not been renovated for decades and the rooms look accordingly. Supposedly the rooms should have been renovated, I wonder where the photos come from. My room certainly wasn't there. The television is a real joke these days and belongs in a museum. The beds are not made and the bathroom smells extremely like sewage. Breakfast is a joke. I was often in this hotel years ago when the old owners were still there and everything was fine. The restaurant is also closed and finding a proper restaurant nearby is not possible. So I definitely won't spend another night in this hotel.
