The hotel appears to have been modernized recently. The rooms are modernly furnished, the bathrooms are new, as are the restrooms in the basement restaurant. The food is good and caters to every taste, including the homemade mustard and oil dressing. Plenty of parking is also available. We'd be happy to return.

I spent a wonderful long weekend here with my friends. The area is beautiful, there are great walks and hikes. The rooms are nice, clean and well equipped. The food is plentiful and very delicious. The staff is very helpful, kind and friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, if you are in the area, definitely come here.

Unfortunately, the hotel lacks atmosphere—there's a lot of room for improvement; the building and the beer garden have much more potential. It's quite sterile, with only plastic surfaces in the rooms, and the tables in the restaurant are also made of HPL. Plastic flowers sit on the tiled stove; it simply lacks a personal touch. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was okay. Dinner was average but overpriced for the quality. Overall, the hotel is okay, but we would stay somewhere else next time.

I was only there for dinner. The goulash soup was delicious. The dark beer 🍺 was too. I wasn't so keen on the Kaiserschmarrn—no raisins, and not enough apple sauce.

An absolute insider tip in Inzell! The Landgasthof Schwarzberg completely delighted us! We received a warm welcome on our first visit in 2024 – the family atmosphere and Bavarian hospitality are truly palpable here. The rooms are cozy, clean, and lovingly furnished, with stunning views of the mountains. The highlight was definitely the food: regional specialties, freshly prepared and served with love. The roast pork is especially recommended – simply heavenly! The breakfast buffet also leaves nothing to be desired. The location is perfect for excursions into nature, whether hiking, biking, or just relaxing – everyone will find something to suit their needs here. We felt at home from the very first moment and will definitely be back. A big thank you to the entire Schwarzberg team – you do a fantastic job!

The food wasn't particularly good; the cheese spaetzle had hardly any cheese and was lukewarm. The Sauerbraten dumplings were warmed over, there was hardly any sauce, and the meat was very dry. I wouldn't recommend it; there are better options here.

The inn offers a fantastic panorama. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the food is delicious. The service is super friendly and very attentive. The inn is highly recommended.

The country inn is beautifully situated. I can't comment on the rooms, as we only visited the restaurant. The food was okay, but nothing special. No one in our family was happy, but everyone was full. The selection of dishes is limited and not typically Bavarian. A small side salad, for example, makes the food more appealing and is always well received. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it.

Great view. Large outdoor area and very cozy interior. Friendly and prompt service. Restrooms top-notch (clean and modern), unlike anything else we've experienced. We reserved a table for three people for Saturday evening and pre-ordered two knuckle of pork. This worked perfectly, and even changes to the side dishes for the knuckle were easily accommodated. So far, everything was excellent. Unfortunately, I have to criticize a few things about the taste of the food. The knuckle itself still has a lot of room for improvement. The knuckle could have been a bit crispier on the outside and seasoned a bit more strongly. The sauce, in particular, could have used more spice and flavor. I've had much better sauce in many places in Bavaria. What a shame! Overall, the food lacks the courage to go for the seasoning. The schnitzel, which I was also allowed to try, also lacked a certain amount of subtlety in the seasoning. All in all, it's still a good knuckle of pork and a nice, cozy restaurant. We've already had two better knuckles of pork in the surrounding area and wouldn't come back because of the lack of refinement in the flavors.

Had a pork knuckle. Could have been a bit bigger. Fries instead of cabbage and dumplings, but the quantity was modest. The sauce could have been more spicy. Restrooms were very, very good. Location: great view of the mountains, but loud noises from the street.

We booked two nights in a family room with a balcony. The stay was very nice. Unfortunately, the balcony is currently unusable because it is being renovated, but we received compensation for this. Thank you again.

We received a free upgrade to a mountain-view room, the staff was extremely friendly, and everything was very clean. The value for money is truly excellent. We also particularly liked how dog-friendly the hotel is ☺️ we would definitely stay there again!

Hier gibt es ordentliches gutbürgerliches Essen zu fairen Preisen. Im Biergarten lässt es sich gut sitzen. Das Personal ist freundlich. Reduzierte Speisekarte. Essen insgesamt sehr deftig.

The food was already better. Thought I'd treat myself to the onion roast on holiday. With a small change to cheese spaetzle it cost €32.50. It was the most expensive and at the same time the worst roast onion I have ever eaten in Bavaria. Portion of meat also very small. A huge pile of crispy fried onions that covered the whole meal. Tastes are always different, but I won't be coming back. At least the waiter apologized at the end.

We had booked another hotel in Inzell. However, when we arrived, it was overbooked (Biathlon World Cup), and we were rebooked into this one. In retrospect, that was probably a stroke of luck. The room was freshly renovated and clean. Breakfast was absolutely fine, and the food at the inn was also good. The staff was very nice and friendly. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Inzell is an easy 20-minute walk away. The ChiemgauCard is also included, offering various benefits, including free public transport.

The 4 of us had booked a family room with a balcony! Everything was clean and in order. The only point of criticism is that you share the balcony with other guests and therefore it can smell of cigarette smoke. We couldn't sleep with the window open. Breakfast was excellent, especially the coffee! In the evening we only drank a beer in the dining room, but were served quickly and courteously, even though we could tell that the waitress was very stressed. We'll be back!

The food was super tasty. We visited twice and both times we were full and happy afterwards. My special thanks go to the waitress, who not only gave us something to drink but also my dog ​​and even gave us a few treats! You couldn't feel more welcome. And even on her day off, she saw us and came straight to us with water and treats and had a quick chat with us. Really great! This makes the dog's heart and, above all, his tummy happy!

Beautifully located inn, nice staff and delicious food. We had the Brauerschnitzel (?) with bacon, horseradish and cheese gratinated, with braised potatoes and a great dark beer sauce.

The most beautiful beer garden in all of Inzell! The operation/service is very friendly and attentive. The cheese spaetzle was very good, the schnitzel was very tasty and what impressed us was that the fries were made from real potatoes (not a frozen product). We are thrilled and always enjoy coming here.

I only review the restaurant, not the hotel. We go on vacation to Inzell every year and always include at least one or two visits to the Gasthof Schwarzberg. The ambience is beautiful and the food was great. Unfortunately, after our last visit, we were disappointed to find that the standard had declined rapidly. The service was “always tried hard”, but the food was more of the quality of a poorly managed canteen. I'm afraid that only convenience products are put together on the plate here. I can't imagine an ambitious chef cooking here from scratch. It's a real shame, but as long as nothing changes there, we won't be coming back.

We only go there to eat. Were bitterly disappointed. So for the price you would expect something different. You couldn't eat the sausage salad because it was so incredibly sweet. The goulash soup only tasted of oil, which also floated well. So you paid a lot for nothing.

I wasn't happy with this country inn at all because it was a high price and because we got a new room we had to pay an extra 60 euros if you were still disabled and had to climb a steep staircase on Tuesday and Thursday because they had a rest day so if nan is disabled please do not recommend this country inn was recommended by the information so they made the mistake even though no 🚹 man mentioned this on the phone that I am disabled and 100 percent it was terrible

Under this good old Bavarian inn appearance, we expected to taste some good beers and some good local specialties. What a shame! The lukewarm beer, the Viennese schnitzel reheated in the fryer, the fries reheated in the microwave, the wilted salad seasoned with an industrial vinaigrette from a discounter. Disgusting !! 16 balls please I would have done better to go eat a “good” don at the local Turkish place. Really to escape!.

I stayed here for 2 nights and am very satisfied. Rooms tidy and clean, staff very friendly and attentive, breakfast was very good and plentiful despite the low season (i.e. only Hotel Garni operation). Location is with a wonderful view of the mountains and a 15-minute walk to Inzell.. also very pleasant.. WiFi for those who prefer to stare at their cell phones instead of enjoying the beautiful nature also works perfectly. There is enough parking space right next to the house. Despite the proximity to the B 306, it is totally quiet. Conclusion: I can highly recommend the hotel!!

Basically, I have a hard time giving bad reviews. Especially if the hotel itself is fine. However, I think a price of €260 per night is quite a lot. It was an okay room but for €260 I would imagine a little more. In return I get a great hotel room in e.g. Munich or something similar and not in a small town like this. Not even the WiFi reached our room. The water for the shower didn't get really warm either. I'm very disappointed and won't be staying here again anytime soon.

A beautiful, very German/tradions hotel 2 km from the village of Inzell. Delicious breakfast and dinner: take into account their delicious 'Kaisersmarrn': particularly delicious but also quite a lot. The Apfelstrudl is equally good, highly recommended. Rooms/beds: good firm mattresses and normal/medium firm pillows (no bags). Good sanitary facilities, nice wardrobe, nice armchair available. For the late hours there is a small Stube-like room where you can relax with your group.

We used to eat there every now and then and it was okay. But currently almost inedible, I'm sorry, and at such prices! The “homemade” spaetzle is a soft, pale flour mush, not finished! Portion for over 17.- very manageable, but in this case it doesn't matter because it's hardly edible. The Cordon Bleu has nothing to do with Cordon Bleu! I've eaten hundreds in my life, but this was one of the worst and over 18.00! The only thing that pleased us was the nice lady in service. To be honest, when you were eating you had the feeling that they didn't have a real chef!

Hochwertige Preise für minderwertiges Essen

Leider kamen wir uns mir oft verloren vor beim Frühstück,es wurde nie nachgefragt ob alles okay ist. Kaffee war super, ansonsten war alles da ,man ist nicht verhungert. ,aber für uns zu ungemütlich. Wir hatten das bessere Zimmer dann mit Aufpreis genommen,das war bis auf den unangenehmen Geruch morgens in der Duschkabine sehr schön. Das Hotel hatte 2x die Woche geschlossen,sicher Personalmangel🤔Hotel war mit dem Fahrrad nach Inzell ein Katzensprung.Das Zimmer war sehr sauber jeden Tag .

Per Zufall nach bestimmt 20 Jahren mal wieder da gewesen. Die Speisen einfach wie früher bayrisch lecker. Preise sind normal. Leider trägt das Personal keine Trachten mehr, zumindest haben wir niemanden gesehen. Aber dafür genug beim Michaeliritt.

Toller Service, für die Kinder gab es sofort Buntstifte und etwas zu malen. Das Essen war köstlich

Sebbene il cibo sia gustoso, il prezzo in linea e il posto carino, il proprietario è decisamente villano e per nulla disponibile. Diversamente il cameriere è gentile…..se volete farvi insolentire andate, mangerete discretamente.

Wir haben eine Nacht auf der Durchreise hier verbracht. Das Familien-Zimmer (zwei separate Räume) war neu renoviert, geräumig und sehr sauber. Das Abendessen im Hotel war sehr gut, ebenso das Frühstück. Dieses war nicht riesig, aber es gab von allem etwas und z.B. Rührei wurde auch immer sofort nachgefüllt. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle nett und kinderfreundlich. Es gibt auch einen schönen Biergarten, den wir aufgrund des schlechten Wetters leider nicht nutzen konnten. Alles in allem zu empfehlen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten ein sehr abgelebtes Zimmer mit Teppich welcher grauslig war. Über durchgelegene Matratzen kann man noch hinweg sehen. Lage mit Hund super. Abendessen war ok. Frühstück sehr beengend vom Buffetplatz her. Es war sicher einmal ein Juwel, jetzt leider nicht mehr. Für uns hat es nicht gepasst!

Mein Mann und ich waren heute zum Abendessen dort, das Personal ( die Dame, die uns bedient hatte) war sehr aufmerksam und das Essen / Nachtisch war Mega gut( gute Portionen und sehr lecker). Haben gleich für morgen wieder einen Tisch reserviert.
