We liked this place. Best Greek food we had in Düsseldorf area. I had the lamb shoulder which was very tender. We especially liked the Baklava.

Once the best gyro for miles around, you can't eat there or order food anymore. The last three times I've been there, the food was burnt, substandard, the Lukol sauces (ugh), the lamb chops look like roadkill and are way too expensive, and the staff has forgotten how to smile. ;) It's a shame, because I actually like the family that owns it, but things have been going downhill since the first major renovation.

We were there on Friday evening and went again the next day. Food very tasty, service very nice, prices normal.

While staying in the Maritim Hotel at the Dusseldorf airport, we visited Platia. 10 euro Uber and back a 25 minute walk though a green area with parks. The restaurant is good, service friendly and excellent. Portions are ok and tasty. Recommended.

Wir waren zum 1.Mal in der Taverna Savas und waren total begeistert, zuerst einmal vom freundlichen Kellner, wir haben uns so willkommen und gut aufgehoben gefühlt, so einen wunderbaren , herzlichen Service haben wir selten erlebt, ganz lieben Dank noch einmal dafür. Dann das leckere Essen in authentischer Atmosphäre und Mythos vom Fass....wir waren rundum glücklich :). Vielen Dank an das gesamte Service- und Küchenteam, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen bei euch.

There has been a new owner for a few weeks. Unfortunately, everything is much worse now. Partly inedible. I'll probably only order here when I'm about to starve. It's a shame that the previous owners are gone, wherever.

The store had an owner, but many of the reviews here still apply to the previous owner. New owner: Food very tasty, ugly art on the wall, price does not correspond to the previous owner (more expensive), not much for vegetarians, a lot of wine selection (one side of food, 20-25 sides of spirits), service overwhelmed (depending on the abundance)

Incredibly delicious and a very nice, family atmosphere.
