Very tasty, I can only recommend it

Busy Greek restaurant on a Tuesday evening, 7 p.m. Ambience from rustic to modern, depending on the seat, cozy but not stand out. But finally discreet music with a Greek ;) Fast operation, but rather functional, not very personal. An ouzo on the house to start. The food was very good and plentiful, as is usually the case. All in all a good evening.

I have eaten here several times so far. There have been no problems so far and although I don't normally like Greek food, I like this one.

A classical Greek. Dishes served like they were in the 90s, which is definitely not a negative thing. You get a generous portion including garnish, side salad and ouzo. The food tastes good and comes without any frills. The store is large and somewhat winding, but unfortunately it is very loud here. Service is very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately there is no Greek beer here.

We visited on Boxing Day. It was full but the service was still great! The food came very quickly. It was a good portion. As an aperitif you get real Quzo, undiluted ;) The ambience seems very robust in the front row. The toilet might need A renovation. All in one comment, we would be happy to come back

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Syrtaki Restaurant and would like to share my enthusiastic impressions. From start to finish, the experience was simply outstanding - from the warm welcome to the last bite. Upon entering the restaurant, one immediately noticed the welcoming atmosphere, which was further enhanced by the friendly and attentive service staff. The staff were not only professional, but also extremely courteous and eager to ensure that every guest was comfortable. The culinary journey began with the starters – the dolmadakia and the grilled octopus. The dolmadakia were perfectly seasoned and had a lovely texture that showed the masterful preparation. The grilled octopus was tender, smoky and incredibly tasty. These appetizers were a promising taste of what was to come. The main course, lamb chops, was undoubtedly the highlight of the meal. The chops were cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor. Accompanied by sophisticated side dishes, there was a harmonious interplay of flavors and textures that simply thrilled me. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation was obvious. Not only the food, but also the service helped make this evening unforgettable. The staff were always present without being intrusive, ensuring glasses were filled and questions were answered. It was clear to see that passion and dedication to gastronomy was at work here. The combination of excellent food, first class service and a welcoming atmosphere makes this restaurant an absolute gem.

Had it delivered. Rice is watery, as if it was leftover. Meat is dry and not seasoned properly. The salad dressing consists only of oil. A disaster!

Our Greek has been there for 40 years, always very good

We were there yesterday (i.e. on one Friday) eat here for two. All of the serving spirits (certainly 10 or even more?) were very nice and busily buzzed around the premises. We got our drinks in no time. Also the other B Orders were no problem at all (although the restaurant filled up within a very short time)👍. Our meals were consistently delicious: the starter salad was always equally delicious (in an absolutely positive way). We chose the Syrtaki plate or the Skiathos plate and both dishes were A1 (meat👍, tzatziki👍rice👍 finely grated onions) and meat+rice were HEIẞ. Until next time 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

The gyros fries salad tzatziki cover was very tasty and we sat in a nice restaurant.

The two of us were there on Monday. Solid restaurant with classic dishes. Price/performance completely ok. Nice service. We enjoyed it and would like to come back more often.

Although we were with a group of 10 people, we always had to wait almost 3/4 hour until a waiter came. Although we complained twice that a drink was missing (it was also nicely calculated), it is still missing so far.

Been there again after decades. Moved away I was surprised at how big the restaurant (with a terrace) has become. It was really well attended (Saturday). We had class reunions. We were shown to our table by friendly service staff. The drink order was quick. The food order was also quick. The food was super tasty 😋. Always my pleasure.

We ate there with 4 people. However, it hasn't been there for 2 years. Table reserved, everything worked out. We ordered our first drinks at 7:30 p.m. and then finally ordered food at around 7:50 p.m. as requested. Food was tasty and portions were sufficient. However, what is not possible at all is that you sit there for over an hour and no one asks for drinks. From 7:30 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. not one person came and brought us new drinks. Only when the colleague got up and went to the waiter did someone come. When we asked him about it, he became unfriendly. (Elderly gentleman) Sorry but the service is a disaster, anyone who comes from the restaurant knows that they make money on drinks. But it won't work like that. Food great, service urgently needs to be overhauled

AND then came the living PISTUDY: We don't make reservations, but the free tables are reserved... Huh?... I know that I live in a society with many intellectual low performers and that I have to deal with these borderline idiotic low-flyers every damn day. Stupid, bold, arrogance? It's a shame about time and distance...

Luckily the food was really tasty 😊 Unfortunately the service was incompetent. Just with the drinks, (9 people) a complete mess. 🙄 Despite ordering, starters were delivered incorrectly or not at all. Only after repeated requests was the correct appetizer brought while everyone else had already finished eating. (The lettuce probably still had to grow and the tomatoes 🍅 still had to ripen😮‍💨 oh well..... Unfortunately, when we were left out to dry again, we had to make our presence known again. We would like to and ONLY if it doesn't cause too much trouble, order a few cokes, water, etc. Totally stuffy - BUT DON'T DRINK and DRIVE ✌️✌️✌️ Luckily the younger staff were a bit more attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't want anything more. We still left a tip there 🤗 The store was 1/4 full - so take your time and patience. Price and quantity = ok

Nothing had been done for a long time, the toilets were a complete disaster. Well, that's really not possible for a restaurant. There is a beautiful fountain outside, but unfortunately it is not in use. So you could do a lot more with it.

Compared to typical Greek restaurants, we found nothing to complain about today with 4 people, but some things were above average: price performance, quality, freshness and aroma stood out. Very decent portions are still served and it is also pleasant to sit here. We'll be back, special praise for the lunch and the special fries!

All in all, everything fits. We spontaneously went there after the Balloon Museum. Food ok, prices ok, service ok too. But everything isn't great either. That's why 4 stars really fits here. Which is definitely still a good thing.

We are regular visitors and always very satisfied. Today we were there with 6.5 people and were thrilled again. All the different meat and fish dishes were very tasty and the portions were generous. The service was excellent and took all wishes into account. You can sit both inside and outside. There is a separate parking space, but only for around 8 vehicles. But there is still space on the main street. Price/performance is appropriate.

The steak was very tasty. My cousin's family visits Syrtaki regularly and is always satisfied.

Definitely our favorite Greek. It had subsided during the pandemic, but there is no sign of it anymore. We love the food and have great memories with the Syrtaki. The service sometimes lacks a little structure, but the friendliness and warmth here are great.

The ambience is nice and there is parking, that's about it for the positive aspects. I ordered the “mesa plate” (warm starters). In all other restaurants this means that you receive a selection of the warm starters previously mentioned on the menu. Not here. There wasn't one of the hot starters mentioned on the plate, the only warm thing was a portion of broad beans. I told the waiter that I had expected something different. He then snapped at me that it was a selection from the entire menu and pushed the plate away to show me the broad beans under "side dishes", then he left. When another waiter cleared the almost full plate and asked if it was tasty (which is actually unnecessary if the guest returns almost all of the plate), and I said "No" and explained it again, I got a rude one here too Answer...I could have asked the other guests who have been here several times beforehand...Absolutely outrageous! 16.50 € for a portion of broad beans, with 2 vineyard leaves and a bit of salad... Unfortunately, the restaurant is absolutely not recommended!!!

Despite prior reservations and a preparation time of over 24 hours, there were not enough seats for all guests. We found the prices, especially €5 for an ouzo, to be extortionate. In addition, the request for a water bowl for our dog was rejected because other guests would have noticed this negatively. Meal coordination was also a problem. It was assured that the starter and main course would be served at the same time, but I was left hungry while others had already eaten. As smokers we felt unwelcome, which seemed particularly ironic since the staff themselves smoked while working. The highlight of the evening was the argument with the owner about the long waiting times and the poor quality of the food, which was also confirmed by other guests. My complaints led to no solution; instead I was criticized and my rejected food was offered to other guests. Ultimately, I left the restaurant unsatisfied and found better food at a nearby diner. This visit was a complete disappointment with many organizational and service-related deficiencies. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

Very large restaurant with different rooms: covered terrace, garden, three different interior rooms... Very comfortably furnished. Fast and attentive service. Good food (Greek cuisine). Good for large groups and meals for two. Suitable for meat lovers. Vegetarian and vegan.

Most importantly, the food tastes good so far, but there are things that leave me with a question mark. 2 different dishes were ordered and the same thing arrived. Not because a mistake has happened, but because it seems that people are interpreting what is what. So a steak and a schnitzel are one and the same and the same meat can be found on the skewers. The price of the dishes is reflected more in the quantity than in the quality. Service and ambience can be summed up, it's a nice restaurant with rustic charm, but it's way too crowded. You're almost sitting on each other's laps and the volume is at a level that forces you to shout at each other to have a conversation. In this respect, the service is quite overwhelmed, they try to do their best, you can tell, but the boss/owner should think about how much he expects of his employees and customers. For allergy sufferers and dog owners, the information Dogs are often seen in the restaurant. <despite the volume and number of people>

I was here for the first time today and was very impressed with this location. Food was very good, the staff attentive. Only the women's toilets could use some renovation; they don't fit into the otherwise good overall image of the restaurant.

It was my first time eating at Syrtaki and I was really impressed! :-) The winter garden is really nice, the food was great and the service was really nice (greetings go out!) If you want to have a delicious meal, you're definitely in good hands here, whether it's a main course or just a little something!

The food was very good, but the service was super bad, there was like 4 people taking care of my order, we went here for valentines, the service was super slow, the never brought the second glass of wine that ordered and the option that i ordered was supposed to come with mashed potatoes, also nothing, one of the waiters looked like he didn't wanna help at all or didn't wanna work. So I wouldn't recommend it.

We've eaten there several times and it's always been delicious. If you want to eat there with several people, you should reserve a table.

I ordered food for delivery for the first time today (by phone). 1×fillet plate and 1×tarama. According to the homepage 25 euros total and 1€ delivery costs. I was then charged more than €36. When I asked, I was told that the prices had increased. A portion of tzatziki was also delivered that I hadn't ordered, but of course was charged for. I really don't think 10€ more is right and I'm pretty dissatisfied with this order and the delivery. The “original/normal prices” can also be found at Lieferando. How can that be? I don't think it's okay! If there are price changes, please let us know in advance. It's a shame, but I won't order this again.
