Very friendly service, good food but the prices are high.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio no longer fits. The prices seem to have been switched to the EM or tourists. All dishes are about 30-50% more expensive than a few months ago. Maybe, depending on the guest, the card is handed out, which consists of pages of paper stapled together? The bread is now charged extra and put on the table without asking and is made from the cheapest white bread. The food was ok as always, but we won't go there again for the reasons mentioned. What a shame!

Wir sind immer gerne gekommen, aber die aktuelle Speisekarte scheint auf Touristen Abzocke oder EM Preise umgestellt zu sein. Seltsam ist auch, dass die Karte aus zusammen gehefteten Seiten besteht. Die Gerichte kosten ca. 30-50% mehr als vor ein paar Monaten. Das Brot wird extra berechnet, und ungefragt mit auf den Tisch gestellt. Die Qualität vom Essen war ok, aber Preis- Leistung passt jetzt gar nicht mehr. Wir werden auf jeden Fall zukünftig woanders essen gehen.

For years it was a restaurant we enjoyed going to. Last time we came with City Scheck: unlike others, we didn't get bread or Uzo, let alone attentive service. It's a shame, but there are other good Greek restaurants too.

Really way too expensive now. So it's really absurdly too expensive. Prices have almost doubled! The staff is nice & really cool, but they have to operate a large store with two people. Food is okay. When the store is full, there is a good atmosphere but it is rarely as full as it used to be - you can hardly afford it anymore.

A Greek Tavern means superior taste as well as service and perfection A-Z. Not at the level of Estia or Toxotis. Average dishes to be so Arrogant. There is no sign to be a Greek Tavern. Strict hygenie problems waste of Money. A second time would be a mistake, thanks to see the real face at the welcome. The favorite one was closed today. No need a substitute.

Over 20 years of experience in Düsseldorf. Reviews are not reflecting the truth. This place is waste of time. Atmosphere is too depresive, food is nothing more than average. never ever I would list this place in the top Greek restaurants, there are much more better ones. All of them is 10 mins distance. You can skip this place and avoid internet review manipulation.

Yesterday we went to the Pegasus Tavern again - as we decided on our first visit. In keeping with Greek Easter, we ordered oven-baked kids on the recommendation of the waiter. The meat almost melted in your mouth! We only got it so tender and tasty in Greece itself. Kudos to the chef! As with our first visit, we are thrilled with the service and advice - always friendly and accommodating - always there if you need something or want to reorder. Finally, of course, the classic Ouzo 😃that gave the evening the right ending - thanks Nico!

The food was good. Greek cuisine, nothing unusual. Delicious, except for the prawns, which were soggy. In return, the friend received a glass of wine from the house. We had to call service several times each time. Well, the place was full, but that doesn't mean that the waiter didn't check to see if anything was missing. The restaurant is generally very loud. Due to construction. The seven of us won't go there again because it's simply not enough for the extremely high prices in every respect. All other Greeks get an ouzo after paying the bill (330 euros). Not here.

An authentic Greek restaurant in middle of Düsseldorf. Parking can be a problem as limited street parking. Atmosphere is buzzing. Service is wonderful. Plenty of drinks to choose from . Plenty of veg good, and their veg risotto was superb. Reservation is recommended in advance.

The food is super delicious, service is excellent, but the ambience was a little bit noisy, because the restaurant was fully booked 😀

1.5 years ago I decided not to eat here anymore. Unfortunately I tried it again yesterday. I ordered prawns in white wine sauce with a side salad and got 4 king prawns on a mixed salad. My query as to whether this was correct was answered in the affirmative. The shrimp were disgusting because they were completely mushy inside. The salad was in a vinegar sauce, no trace of white wine. I told the waiter that too. Consolation prize: a glass of Retsina! I was completely ripped off. In general, the card is more run-of-the-mill, but overpriced. Every Greek chip shop has more choice. The ambience is, well, and the volume is enormous. The friendliness of my waiter yesterday left a lot to be desired.

A real Greek tragedy! We waited 1 hour for our order and 1 hour for our food to come! Starter and main dishes finally came..all together and everything was truly tasteless and extremely pricy ( 8 euro for a bottle of water and 21 for a small tasteless mussaka ) They fooled us with the wine, we asked the house wine and they served us a more expensive bottle of wine …and then they told us that the house wine was finish! But The most disgusting thing was the waiter’s manner that when we asked about our food in a polite way he answer super impolite “ I only have 2 hands” and everything we asked ( example yo split the bill ) he was snorting all the time! So if you wanna have a nice evening..please widely avoid this restaurant! The Greek people should be ashamed of it!

Too expensive and half as tasty.

Das Lokal ist sehr mediterran eingerichtet und gemütlich. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und die Speisen und Getränke schmecken super! Man sollte allerdings immer reservieren, da die Taverne immer gut gebucht ist. Im Sommer gibt es auch eine kleine Terrasse.

Good Greek restaurant in a central location. Very loud even during the week. Friendly service and good cuisine. Not cheap.

A very nice, cozy and above all clean restaurant with super friendly and courteous Greek staff. A very warm welcome, as is the mentality from the south. We became aware of this restaurant through the Düsseldorf dining block and what we liked best about the description was “only original dishes”. Finally nothing for ordinary tourism. Simply the typical local cuisine. Perfect. We will definitely come back and can only recommend the restaurant. It may be a little more expensive but 1. you don't usually eat out every day and 2. there is a touch of the south. Since everything is becoming more expensive, I think the prices are still reasonable for the quality. It can also be argued about the bread basket for 2.50 euros, whether you want it or not. For me personally, it requires a dip, so bread is needed anyway. But the bread can also simply be dipped with olive oil. Conclusion: super tasty, highly recommended

Been there for the first time. Thursday evening, three of us. Great ambience, you really feel a bit like you're in a rustic tavern in Greece. The friendly and very relaxed staff goes well with this. We had dinner Bifteki, tiganja and baby calamari. Everything was super tasty, just like the many ouzo that were on the house. Overall the prices are a bit high, but the ambience and quality and taste of the food make up for it. We'd love to come back

Food is great, but the prices are steep. Two meals plus a starter with a small coca and a water for 65 euros. Inflation or not, you can also get it for 40 to 50 euros in other local places

War seit langem mal wieder im Pegasos, als wir die Speisekarte gesehen haben, sind wir fast vom Stuhl gekippt, die Preise sind viel zu hoch. Das Essen war lecker, aber nicht für diese Preise zu rechtfertigen.

A nice upscale restaurant. We spontaneously went there for dinner in the evening and were kindly assigned a seat. The staff is super accommodating and funny. We ordered 2 sea bream dishes and a grilled salmon. Both were delicious, you can't get such good fish anywhere. Highly Recommended !!! 5⭐️

Es war ein spontaner Abend mit Freunden. Wir kennen diesen Griechen von früheren Zeiten und hatten ihn einfach nicht mehr auf dem Schirm. Das war ein Fehler! Allein der Empfang nach all den Jahren war wie nach Hause kommen, tolle Begrüßung, lachende Belegschaft, gute Stimmung! Das Publikum wie immer bunt gemischt, das Essen nach wie vor klassisch, griechisch und lecker! Danke Ziri für diesen tollen Abend ☺️ Es hat unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht und wir kommen wieder! Very good food and service could be better.

The food is very tasty and there is a great selection of meze. There is also a lot for vegetarians! The restaurant is very large and I like the atmosphere, the waiters are also very friendly. However, there is a point deduction because, in my opinion, the prices are very high and you are charged directly for the first bread basket (which is automatically placed in front of you).

The restaurant is rather rustic and simply furnished. What is immediately noticeable are the, in my opinion, somewhat excessive prices (see photos of the menu) compared to many other Greek restaurants, e.g. Tzatziki 7.50 euros, bifteki 25.50 euros or souvlaki 22.80 euros. And if you want fries as a side dish, you won't find them here - the only side dishes are triplets, salad or vegetables. When it comes to prices, expectations are of course high. The tzatziki was very tasty, the bread (2.50 euros extra!) was nice and fresh and crispy. Except for the bifteki, the meat was unfortunately completely fried, dry and tough. The grilled loup de mer was delicious and so were the side dishes.

Highly recommended!!! Everything quality. As a Sicilian I say that it is the best place where I had dinner in Dusseldorf. Ziri was a great host. He pampered us in every way. We felt at home... TOP!!!

Unfortunately, it felt a lot like mass production. Even though the group wasn't complete, we were pushed to order. Drinks were forgotten after repeated requests. Starters were placed on the table without a specific order.

We've been there many times, but unfortunately the prices have risen outrageously recently. A pity. We won't be coming back.

Lemonato bestellt, Fisch Suppe geliefert. Laut der Karte '' Loup de Mer in einer feinen Zitronensauce mit Kartoffeln, Möhren & Porree‘‘.

Die Taverne Pegasos ist im Düsseldorfer Süden, nicht weit entfernt von der Innenstadt, eine Institution für gute griechische Küche. Preislich etwas teurer, aber das wird durch Qualität gerechtfertigt. Geheimtipp ist die hausgemachte Hühnersuppe und die Keftedes. Service ist hier immer ausgezeichnet. Freundliche Kellner die immer für einen Spaß zu haben sind und die auch gerne mal einen Ouzo mittrinken. Der Laden ist riesig und bietet sehr viel Platz. Eine Reservierung ist demnach unter der Woche nicht unbedingt nötig. Am Wochenende würde ich nichtsdestotrotz lieber reservieren.

Das Essen war wirklich 1A Spitze! Der Service war präsent, sehr nett, aber teilweise unkonzentriert bei den Bestellungen. Das Ambiente ist wirklich in die Jahre gekommen! Wandlampen die nicht richtig befestigt sind, sowie Kleiderhaken die teilweise zur Hälfte herausragenden. Allgemein wirkte es etwas renovierungsbedürftig.

Hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Von typisch griechischer Moussaka zum klassischen Bauernsalat... alles im Angebot. Ich wählte die frittierten Calamari. Sehr gut. Und dann das Rote-Beete-Risotto, was wohl nicht urtypisch griechisch ist... aber super schmeckte. Sehr zu empfehlen! Gerne wieder.

Niet te vreten heb sanderfilet gevraagd en het is matig.vandaag gamba's of Reuse scampi's gevraagd normaal 6stuks 4 gekregen 2 gewoon leeg en de rest leeg.heb Resto verlaten en alleen het biertje betaald .waaronder ik een ferme uitbrander kreeg van de persoon die mij bestelde + het geld die ik geef de heeft hij uit kolere achter mij gesmeten.dank u zou ik zeggen maar niet met mij dit zal de laatste keer zijn.

Tolles Essen und sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir hatten einen einfach rundum wundervollen Abend.

Wir waren mit unserem 8-köpfigen Team dort zum Abendessen und waren alle begeistert. Vom tollen Essen, vom aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service und von der angenehmen Atmosphäre. Die Vorspeise war vielfältig, schmackhaft und reichhaltig. Top. Die Hauptgerichte wären ebenfalls hervorragend. Top. Der Service und die Atmosphäre waren ebenfalls Top (wenn man eine rustikale, bistro-artige Atmosphäre mag und von einigen landestypisch überzeichneten Bildern an der Wand absieht). Auch bei den Rückmeldung von allen Teammitgliedern am nächsten Tag waren noch alle begeistert.

Essen war hervorragend und auch das Personal war sehr zugewandt von und freundlich. Immer wieder gerne.

Man fühlt sich wie in griechischer Familie. Fröhlich und herzlich wird man begrüßt und die Speisenkarte macht die Auswahl schwer. Alles sehr lecker, egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch.

Nur ein Tip. Ich habe gesagt, dass sie mich pberraschen solen, denn von der Karte kann jeder Depp bestellen. Ergebnis: MEGA GUTES ESSEN! Probiert es aus! Auf jeden Fall eine Bereicherung. Danke 🙏 für das leckere essen 🥰

Mit Abstand der schlechteste Service seit langem, aber vielleicht auch, weil wir keine Stammkunden sind, da der Umgang mit diesen sichtlich anders war. Sehr enttäuschend, wir haben uns sehr unwohl gefühlt und werden nicht wieder kommen.

Nach Corona die Preise ordentlich angezogen, wie alle Restaurants. Essen war früher allerdings deutlich besser insbesondere die Beilagen! Ofenkartoffel und Paprika zum Bifteki finde ich zudem wenig griechisch. 22 € für Bifteki !??? Naja wenigstens keine Pommes dazu. So stimmt Preis-Leistung für mich leider gar nicht mehr. Heizungen waren auch alle aus und es war viel zu kalt in den Räumlichkeiten.

Essen war sehr gut. Der Service nett, aber für Samstag Abend 19.00 Uhr überfordert. Das erste Getränk war erst nach 40 Minuten da, das ist viel zu lange. Vorspeisen und Hauptspeise waren herausragend, mit der Zeit wurde die Getränke versorgung auch besser. Preis, Leistung in Ordnung.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen dort. Essen war recht lecker aber der Service ist eine Katastrophe. Der Kellner war hier sehr unprofessionell und hat sich bei unserem Tisch Sprüche erlaubt die überhaupt nicht angemessen waren.

Ursprünglich! Wie in Griechenland. Authentisches Essen. Kein Reis, keine Pommes. Der Vorspeisenteller war sehr lecker. Der Fisch war superfrisch und perfekt zubereitet. Dem Service war Freude und Spass anzumerken . Tolles Team!!! Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht, daher war es sehr laut . Das ist auch der einzige Kritikpunkt. Fazit: Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir haben satt und in guter Stimmung die Taverne wieder verlassen. Wenn wir in Düsseldorf sind werden wir sicher wieder hier zu Gast sein!!

Nach wie vor ein Szene Treff und urig. Selbst während der Woche super besucht. Aber dennoch: das Preisniveau ist einfach ( zu) hoch. ( 3 Frikadellen (Keftedes) für 22,90€ fanden wir sportlich. Man kann nicht alles unter dem Deckmantel griechischer Kumpelhaftigkeit weglächeln. Ansonsten immer wieder gerne.

Man sitzt im Sommer sehr schön auf den Plätzen vor dem Lokal. Chefin nett und herzlich. Speisen heben sich von „normalen“ Griechen ab. Besonders gut war der Lachs, sehr krosse Haut und wirklich 1A von Geschmack

Leckeres original griechisches Essen in uriger Atmosphäre. Einrichtung sehr einfach und funktional, Service sehr nett. Abends bei (fast) kompletter Auslastung leider recht laut. Das sehr gute Essen lohnt den Besuch dennoch allemal

Wir waren einmal dort und haben Fisch bestellt. Das Essen war soweit in Ordnung, aber die Behandlung von Kellnern konnte absolut nicht durchgehalten werden.

Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant. Die Besitzer sind super Kinderlieb und das Essen ist wirklich gut. Wer in einem netten Ambiente essen gehen will sollte dort hin. Komme gerne wieder :)

Pommes oder Gyros findet man hier nicht was sehr gut ist, ein echter Grieche mit Griechischen Essen. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen die Qualität ist sehr gut was sicher aber auch im Preis widerspiegelt. Der Service war sehr gut, es war nicht voll nachmittags in der Woche.

Immer wieder lecker. Sehr freundliches Team, gute Küche und Preise ok. Von kleinen Vorspeisen über Fisch und Fleisch...es schmeckt immer gut. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man auch draußen sitzen. Drinnen kann es am Abend von der Akustik schon mal etwas lauter werden.

Im großen und ganzen ein sehr gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Einziges Manko eine Seite der Terrasse ist an einer Hauptstraße.
