One of the best places to go for vegan food in Kiel! The lunch menu is always delicious, very well seasoned and balanced. Plus small (sweet) snacks and a selection of vegan foods. Small shop, big tennis. :)
Super tasty and rich food at very fair prices 😋
The first attempt on a Sunday evening we didn't get a seat, but on a Saturday with a reservation it worked. No wonder with the good food!
Even if the restaurant is inconspicuous from the outside: a really tasty, juicy homemade schnitzel with crispy breading, the croquettes cleverly arranged so that the breading doesn't end up in the sauce.
Very tender turkey steak with baked potatoes and the "grill plates" at the neighboring tables also looked very good.
Very large portions, just under 20 euros per person
Everything in the small shop is beautifully presented and the service is really attentive and friendly.
A real recommendation for Kiel, even if it is not quite in the city center.
It's still worth a visit!

I have eaten there a few times. At one occasion I ordered chicken curry. In the bowl were it was in i found a plastic under layer. Of course I showed this to the people who work there but was not angry about it, everyone can make a mistake. Aperently the cook who works there did not like criticism. The next time I ordered something it tasted verry dirty obviously someone manipulated the food. I asked if they manipulated the food, they immediately got verry nervous. I can't proof it but I think i was, right. I stopped eating and just payed and went. That's criminal poisoning your guest after they complained finding plastic items in the food they order. I will never visit that place again. So watch yourself eating there. Don't criticise anyone there the next time it might be rat poison.
Our top 3 ramen and Shio broth we tried in Germany 🤗. As many say here, it is more oily than you would usually get, but I find it yummy and authentic. The noodles and broth were rich in flavor, nicely cooked chachu and the egg was loved by my husband. ❤️
The food is prepared according to local tradition and quite delicious...
There were four of us, and everyone ordered something different, including two vegetarian dishes, which were also well received.
If you're really hungry, you should order appetizers...
If you like spicy food, you'll get your money's worth here.
I neglected to ask for less spicy spice...so that's my own fault...
I would have liked a larger beer selection.
The service here is friendly and responsive to special requests.
The price/performance ratio is acceptable.
This place may not be ideal for wheelchair users, as there are stairs in the entrance area and to the restrooms.
The staff was very friendly. The various dishes were excellent. The service with hot drinks was slow. All dishes were provided with tongs for refilling. In some cases spoons and forks would have been more useful. The cutlery had handles that were too thin for me personally. Refilling the dishes was sometimes slow.
