I've ordered the Flying Singapore with tofu several times. It tastes delicious, and the food is always served very aesthetically.

The portions are large, but there's a lot of salad. It's beautifully presented.

Great food, a fantastic view, and the staff are really on the ball. The prices are a bit above average, but I think that's due to the location and therefore still perfectly reasonable.

A definite recommendation! The ambiance, service, and of course the food were all top-notch. I had a lemongrass-lime tea and a vitality bowl, with edamame as a starter. The sushi, Indochina dumplings, and Saigon curry were also very good. Location: Right by the Germaniahafen harbor, just 10 minutes across the pedestrian bridge from Kiel Central Station.

Friendly, attentive staff. The duck breast was cooked to perfection, the vegetables fresh and crisp. The homemade lemonades are also delicious. Reservations are recommended, as the Buddha Lounge is always very busy. A little tip for birthdays and Christmas...the Buddha Lounge also issues gift certificates.

Cool location with what feels like the only drawbridge outside of the Netherlands that works "importantly" for ships and pedestrians, and there are some nice things.

Today I ordered one of the takeaway bowls here, and I have to say, it was truly one of the most delicious dishes I've ever eaten. Kudos to the chef! The service staff is friendly, and the ambiance is also very nice. If I could, I would eat here every day. A truly great restaurant! Highly recommended! :)

We went there twice in one week. We enjoyed it so much the first time that we spontaneously returned two days later! A fantastic place! High-quality, fresh sushi – top quality you can taste! The price/performance ratio is really very good! The food is also very well presented. The young team is well-trained and extremely organized – we felt welcome and very well looked after. The drinks were cold and tasted good. We had wine, Asian beer, and cocktails. This restaurant is high on our list for our next visit to Kiel.

Doesn't adapt to customers with babies, disappointed to be offered a table in the middle of a draft in front of the entrance. Too bad the restaurant was empty but supposedly full... No solution offered.

We ate there last Sunday. I had the "flying noodles" with roast duck. My wife also had a roast duck dish. Both dishes were very good. We also really enjoyed the mango ice cream dessert. The service was sometimes a bit slow, but always very friendly. We had a seat outside under the umbrellas, with a lovely view of the harbor area.

When I had Hanoi Phoe there, the quality of the pork was unfortunately not as good, and the broth wasn't as flavorful as expected. It's a shame. Everyone else was happy with their dishes. The portions are large, and we even had to pack some because it wasn't enough to eat. We all had different house lemonades to drink, which were delicious and refreshing.

We went there for dinner at the request of my son and his girlfriend for his 18th birthday. It was my first and last visit. Great atmosphere, not bad service, and the food – fantastic for those who love sushi, but it's not my thing at all, and the other dishes aren't tasty for me either. I opted for noodles in a pinch, and they were almost inedible (for me). My wife, on the other hand, thought the food was okay, but wouldn't go back. Asian food is very special, and you either like it or you don't... I also find the prices a bit too high... Sushi is a snack... and charging a lot for rice and vegetables for the other dishes isn't my thing.

We had reserved a table by the window and were asked to wait briefly at the entrance. The same waitress then escorted the guests who arrived after us directly to the last available window seat (without reservations!). Instead, we were assigned a table for 8-10 people with a long, unfortunately quite low bench (from which we were fortunately able to move). The food arrived after about half an hour and was unfortunately no longer hot, but delicious and beautifully presented. To make up for the inconvenience, we were given a bowl of four small sesame balls with refried beans for dessert (there were three of us). Unfortunately, they weren't to our taste...but a nice gesture nonetheless! Conclusion: The food is tasty, but, as in many restaurants, quite expensive (€17.90). A homemade lemonade costs €6.50; a 0.1l Prosecco costs €4.50.

Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und Präsentation gelegt wird. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, was das gesamte Erlebnis noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Das Restaurant war gut besucht, was für die Beliebtheit und das gute Essen spricht. Die asiatische Atmosphäre ist typisch und gleichzeitig angenehm ambivalent modern, aber traditionell. Auch die Gerichte der anderen Gäste sahen durchweg köstlich aus, was die Vielfalt und Qualität der Küche unterstreicht. Ich werde dort definitiv wieder essen gehen und kann die Buddha Lounge nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

A stylish restaurant with delicious dishes. Some of the food is spectacularly prepared. Not an all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant.

A very nice place with a great atmosphere. The food is beautifully prepared, but... you have to like it. I personally didn't like it, even though the preparation, etc., was excellent. Unfortunately, the sauces were heavy with peanuts or coconut. For me, it lacked a spicy soy sauce or something similar. The appetizer plate was excellent, but the main course was unfortunately difficult for me. Otherwise, there are bowls and sushi.

Sitting outside on a mild late summer afternoon and enjoying a nice meal, sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the harbor. My wife and I enjoyed it very much.

Six of us came here for dinner. We ordered two plate dishes and two sushi menus. The sushi was served very decoratively on two boats. It came with seaweed salad and pickled ginger. The salmon was very fatty. The plate dishes were very plentiful. Personally, I found the noise level very unpleasant that evening. It was almost impossible to understand what was being said at the other end of our table. Because we had a lot to eat, the evening lasted a bit longer. We sat there for almost three hours. All in all, 3/5.

It should be noted in advance that we had reserved each time and therefore had no waiting times at the entrance. We always had reservations for the evening. The reception at the entrance is nice and polite. In general the furnishings are very nice and stylish. However, the location is also very loud, especially when it is very crowded. Everyone is trying to entertain themselves and drown out the other. Very loud at the end... What bothered me a bit was that the cloakroom is right next to the entrance and is not big enough. The food was very tasty! But it wasn't a particularly high-flyer. Better standard food, yes, with nice stylish furnishings, plus loud noise levels.

The food was delicious. I spent around €20 and left the restaurant feeling full. The service was friendly, but I still have one complaint. Despite having a reservation, we didn't get a seat right away; we had to wait about 15-20 minutes. I voiced my outrage and was told that it wasn't enough to call the day of my visit to make a reservation, but rather call days in advance. Which doesn't make any sense, since they could already tell me over the phone whether all the seats were occupied.

Even without a reservation (there were two of us), you are greeted very nicely and shown to the table. The selection on the menu is very large. The main courses are always available with tofu, chicken, duck and other components. We chose the starter version, which was not only beautifully presented but also very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the summer roll and the baked shrimp. The selection of sushi is great, it's sometimes difficult to choose. The service was attentive and friendly. All in all it was a very pleasant visit.

It’s okay to try and look at the design, but if you like to eat a lot and it’s also tasty, then it’s not worth it, it’s expensive here, and they said the sushi is fresh, but it tastes the same as what I buy in the store, but there are some that you can’t buy and it was quite tasty, but I’d rather go to another place, it’s nicer there

Best Sushi I had until now. The service is very respectful, and the restaurant has an amazing atmosphere. With a car it's not so easy to find (you have to drive to the end of an abandoned parking lot) but you forget all that when you'rr there.

Great atmosphere with a “wow effect” when you walk in. Consistently friendly and courteous staff and effectively prepared, extremely tasty food. If there is anything to complain about at all, it is that the “beer garden table style” makes it harder to talk to each other at the tables for 6 than if there were seats at the front of tables for 4. If you don't like sitting on benches without backrests and would like seats with backrests, you must indicate this when reserving your table. All in all, the latter is complaining at the highest level - for me the restaurant is absolutely recommended! Deserved 5 stars 🌟.

The food was very tasty and was well prepared. The service was friendly but unfortunately very hectic and nervous as it got busier. In order to get new drinks we had to make ourselves known several times. Maybe there were simply too few staff there in the evening when the store was completely full. Nice atmosphere when you cross the bridge Train station goes. Good location of the restaurant. Unfortunately there are very few places with a view of the water. We really enjoyed the food and would love to come back.

Very tasty food, fair portions, friendly service. Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, we were seated at a small table halfway down the aisle right by the door. Because of the low temperatures outside, it was very uncomfortable to sit there.

I was there with customers and we had the large sushi platters, they are served steaming with dry ice. The portions are large and the sushi is very good! The store is stylishly decorated.

We can only recommend the Buddha Lounge. The food, service and ambience are simply great! Even though it was very busy, there wasn't a long wait. When you eat, your eyes eat with you. All the food and drinks are very stylishly prepared and what's more, the portions fill you up. The price-performance ratio is right here. We'll definitely be back.
