The food was very tasty, but when we wanted to pay, a lot more things were booked on our table than we had ordered. Things from neighboring tables were booked on ours, then they made me pay even more than what I ordered, which unfortunately I only noticed when I was outside! I had 1 large dish, 1x small makkis, a soup and a drink. I paid for 2x main course, 1x small makkis + the soup and the drink! It was tasty but you paid €11 more than you should have? No thanks !

Super delicious food in a nice atmosphere. A table reservation is recommended, and is definitely mandatory on weekends. The sushi is to die for and is spectacularly prepared with dry ice. The bowls are also excellent, as are the flying noodles. The service is discreet, but always there. Unfortunately we couldn't leave a tip when paying with a debit card. In today's world, when cash is becoming increasingly rare, this is a no-go.

It is quite loud when all tables are occupied. Otherwise everything was very good and friendly

Food was good, but the service was a disaster...After waiting for 1.5 hours, we asked where the food was. Then it came at some point. None of the waiters had the idea to let us know that it would take longer and to ask if we wanted something more to drink. The employees are not only unfriendly, overwhelmed and incompetent, but also brazen. A tip was EXPECTED at the end after the poor performance.

What else can you say? An actually good restaurant with prices that have steadily increased. An espresso costs 3.40, a 0.25 liter beer costs 3.70 and Fritz Cola costs 4.60. I can no longer support or recommend the Buddha Lounge at these prices. Everyone has to know for themselves. The four of us over 100.- for 4 drinks and 4 meals....... it's no fun for us.

Habe keine große Erfahrung mit sagen wir asiatischer Küche. Auch wenn hier recht viel Wert auf Show gelegt wurde, war der Service flink und angenehm, die Wartezeit kurz und das Essen prima. Der Fisch war ausgezeichnet, alles schön dargeboten. Viele Familien und Grüppchen, man muss schon etwas lauter sprechen. Blick auf die Förde, leicht vom Hauptbahnhof zu erreichen. Reservierung empfehlenswert. Preise in Ordnung, ziemlich große Karte. Ich komme gern wieder. Danke!

The food was very tasty, the service was friendly, attentive and very quick.

We have always been loyal regular customers of this restaurant and have often visited it with our family. Unfortunately, our last visit left us very disappointed. Although we had reserved a table, the waiter wanted to seat us with our children in an uncomfortable spot at the entrance, even though the table we preferred was free. We finally sat down at the table of our choice, but from that moment on our food was not fully served and the service was rude and unfriendly. This was an extremely unpleasant experience that left us leaving the restaurant in a bad mood. A restaurant should be a place of relaxation and enjoyment, but instead we felt unwelcome. We hope that management keeps this behavioral issue under review as such incidents damage the establishment's reputation. Guests come to have a good time and enjoy a delicious meal - that should always be the focus.

A gorgeous Vietnam restaurant with Aisa fusion of cuisine. Here guests can find creative and nicely deco of meals. The location is also fine by the water bank. The price is higher than the general other but worth of trying and the service is adequate. Be honest even though I don't feel the taste specially delicious but the fact is the new way of presentation shall impress the western clients.

Very good value for money! Food arrived super quickly and was very tasty! Reservations are recommended on Friday evening! Even after asking about a birthday dinner on the phone, the table was beautifully decorated in advance and there was even a tiramisu.

Today I spontaneously visited the Buddha Lounge with three friends. Unfortunately, this wasn't a good choice! The waiter was simply more than unfriendly! We had only been sitting at the table for 3 minutes when the waiter came and wanted to take our order and we were obviously still browsing through the menu. My girlfriend ordered the flying noodles, which also tasted very bland. In the middle of eating, the waiter simply reached into her food to retrieve the fork that the noodles were placed on. Very unhygienic, just sticking your hands into your food without asking!!! You had just put your fork aside and the waiter, who had been circling the table the whole time, simply took the plate away from your face, even though the others were still eating. We were also forced to tip, even though we certainly didn't want to give one after this stay. Never again!!

The food here has gone way down, The last few times I wasn't happy with either the seafood soup or the flying noodles. Prices rose sharply over the year and quality declined. The seafood soup didn't taste good, the ingredients and spices used didn't match. Tomatoes and dill have no place in a Tom Yum-style seafood soup. The flying noodles had a very thin sauce that was barely noticeable, the noodles had no taste of their own and the portion of meat was very small. For the now relatively high prices, I think the food is extremely bad.

excellent sushi. the curry had a peanut sauce too watery, impossible to find any taste. they should make the sauce consistent and tasty. they charged with 10% tip included without warning me. when I offered more tip because I didn't know they have already charged it, they didn't say anything. my wife noticed the amount was too high, and they offered to give the tip money back we enjoy paying tips as long as it's clear as it is in any other place where you simply add the tip you want to pay. never had been through this in Germany before. please make it VERY CLEAR to your customers that you're already charging a tip.

The food is beautifully presented and very appealing. The taste is also very good. Given the number of visitors, it's clear that the employees are under stress...but I still think you should remain friendly. Great food, large selection and huge portions.

The ambience and layout of the shop is very nice, the food also tastes good and is presented very aesthetically. However, I unfortunately have to say that the staff/service really leaves something to be desired... hectic, not really attentive and the most important thing is that friendliness is missing and that should be the A&O (and I visited the store for the third time and it was every time the same 😕) important point that the Buddha Lounge should take to heart, then the overall package would be right ☺️

Great food, beautifully prepared. Can't beat the taste. Unfortunately too few service staff. We waited over 1 hour for our food. No small compensation from the restaurateur...disappointed...had to order everything again because the order form was missing...

I was here for the first time today. Many people have already raved to me about it. And what can I say: Best Asian ever. The food is incredibly tasty, the ambience just makes you feel good, the service is top notch and the prices are very humane. I'm already looking forward to the next time

Yesterday we were in the Buddha Lounge again for a long time. It was very disappointing. I ate the Lucky Bowl. The bowl was 50% filled with lettuce leaves. Then much cheaper corn. An inedible asparagus spear, very briefly cooked and therefore hard broccoli and carrots, both of which cannot be eaten with the cutlery available. Rice was ok, edamame and egg were also ok. Overall disappointing and not filling! We won't be coming back.

The Buddha Lounge is a highlight for me every time. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by an extraordinary interior. The service is very quick and helpful with any questions you may have. .....and when the food is served you are almost speechless. Beautifully prepared and presented in a very unusual way. As I said: always something very special for me

Very good food, especially sushi, is served in a very visually appealing manner, the shop is clean and the staff is very friendly, value for money is right, especially at lunch. There was water and a quiet place for our dog. Only when it is full in the evening is it sometimes noisy and the preparation of the dishes takes a little longer. Overall 5/5. I'd love to come back.

The food tastes great as do the cocktails, both are worth the money. The portions are also generous. The service is simply great, authentic and modern at the same time, the young waiter was very humorous and serious at the same time. The ambience is brilliant, the few trucks that you can see from a window front didn't bother me personally. The restaurant is very close to the water and the interior design has its charm.

Good food, but a bit slow service on what looked like a busy thuesday.

I had dinner there with my family a few days ago. We all paid separately. The waiter placed a device in front of her so that she could give a “forced” tip, which was very cheeky! When I paid I wasn't given my change back (small money) and was taken for granted to keep it as a tip. I then immediately asked for my change, even if it was only small change because you don't do that! I've never seen anything so cheeky! I mean, you tip yourself and don't just take something as a waiter!

A modern and high-quality restaurant. The sushi is very tasty and beautifully prepared. I can highly recommend the homemade lemonade. We will definitely stop by here again. July 10th, 2024 We stopped by the Buddha Lounge again. It was, as before, a celebration.

The location is really nice, the service was very friendly and the food was delicious. Above all, a lot of effort is put into the arrangement, which makes visiting the restaurant a small experience.

The vegetarian version of the coconut soup initially arrived with a coriander topping, even though a corresponding allergy was pointed out. The soup was replaced, but now there were numerous pieces of chicken floating in it. The service staff apologized again. The gyoza were largely tasteless.

Nice restaurant, delicious food, pleasant atmosphere. Terrible staff. An old, thin man with glasses (a waiter) is an aggressive, hysterical narcissist. He begs for tips and becomes hysterical if you don't leave anything. The rest of the team consists of wonderful, smiling waitresses who know how to communicate with guests.

This restaurant is really very good. The inside and outside look very cozy and are furnished with love. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. The food is wonderful, there's nothing wrong with it. The only negative point is the location. The restaurant is located on the east bank of Kiel. The passers-by and some of the other guests are forgettable and behave like assistants.

Very good value for money, very generous portions and incredibly friendly staff. All in all: a visit is a visit and is more than worth it!

Very tasty food with top fresh ingredients. The sushi ship (109€/ entitled) is an eye-catcher and very tasty. Maybe a few sauces with it wouldn't have been bad, I didn't ask...enough for 4 good "eaters". Service is sometimes overwhelmed... it's understandable given the rush, but always polite. We will definitely come back! Reservation in advance makes sense.

Schon auf der Terasse wurden wir freundlichst empfangen und zum Platz geführt. Ohne Hast konnten wir in Ruhe wählen und uns wurde bei Fragen zum Essen alles erklärt. Were there for a friend's JGA with 7 people. It was a great experience, the service was great and the food was beautifully prepared and very tasty. It wasn't too expensive either, about 50 euros per person. Will definitely come back.

We had dinner here for a family celebration. We had booked a table and were warmly welcomed. The restaurant has a lot of long tables and that alone makes it very noisy when everything is full. Very nice and quaint shop. I just love the decor. I had the Flying Singapore "the flying noodles" with duck. Except that the noodles were the quick Miinoodles, where I would have preferred fresh noodles, the dish was still very tasty. But fresh noodles have a different bite and don't have such a dry mouthfeel. In general I am very impressed with the presentation of the food. A lot is not only done here for the taste, but the eye is not neglected either. The employees are very friendly. Like I said, I love the decor. There's something cozy about it, something inviting... I feel like I'm sitting in a temple garden. Full of beauty. The toilets are also very well equipped and were very clean. The prices are also ok for what you get. The table reservation was a bit bumpy. It was difficult to get through on the phone and then apparently my name wasn't written down correctly. At least he couldn't be found. We then used the most similar name and time and hoped that we didn't steal anyone's table. Otherwise...I'll definitely be back.

We've wanted to test the Buddha Lounge for a long time and now we've finally done it. We had reserved a table and would advise everyone to make a reservation. I had the Jasmine Lime Lemonade and Flying Singapore with Shrimp. My companion had the mint lemonade and the Saigon curry with chicken. About the drinks: My jasmine lemonade was very sweet, while the mint lemonade was nice and refreshing. Both were very tasty! About the dishes: The vegetables were very fresh, the noodles and rice were cooked to perfection. The meat and shrimp were of good quality. In terms of taste, the peanut-sesame-coconut sauce of the flying noodles was a burner!! The curry with its coconut curry sauce was also incredibly tasty. Just right for my companion, too spicy for me. So if you don't like spicy at all, you shouldn't choose the curry😉 Now to the local: It is nicely decorated. Not as cheesy as most Chinese. However, you don't really have an eye for it because you're constantly looking at the dishes at the neighboring tables. The sushi is prepared spectacularly! Conclusion: We'll be back! We paid €28 per person

Great restaurant! Lots of choice and the food was super delicious and tasted totally fresh. Unfortunately, we had communication problems due to the language barrier of the employees, but they still tried very hard. Reservation definitely recommended! The prices are a bit high, but the food justifies it. The ambience is very nice, unfortunately a bit cramped and therefore loud.

We just got home (we live 10 minutes away by car) both with stomach aches... we had red curry and peanut curry... the starter soups are a joke for €7.50, just liquid a mushroom... over €60 spent on a stomach ache... never again...

Despite having ordered a table, we waited half an hour and none of the employees felt obligated to let us know or take care of us. Apparently we weren't the only ones who had to wait for our table. However, the food was very good and served quickly. The waiters, on the other hand, seemed overwhelmed at peak times.

Great food, unfortunately the dining room is huge and very loud. The large tables are shared with other guests. This meant there was a lack of privacy. During our visit, the staff was a bit overwhelmed with the placement of the guests - despite reservations.
