The best burgers and very friendly! Just like on our vacation in 2023, a visit in 2024 was a must. We (and our son) have been talking about the delicious, large burgers ever since last year! Just like in 2023, we weren't disappointed and are raving about this taste experience again now (after our vacation). We're already looking forward to 2025. The friendliness is also worth mentioning. Especially towards the children. We recommend it without reservation. The burgers here are worth the money.

Not bad at all. Delicious food, friendly staff. Sitting outside is also nice. It's on the street, though. One star deducted, though. Only cash payments are accepted. It doesn't really matter, but for three people, the bill quickly adds up to €40. A crab sandwich is €15! A bar charge isn't very appropriate. In my opinion, it's also no longer up-to-date.

The people at the truck are super friendly and everything looks spotless. I didn't like the burger (pulled duck) at all. The roll quickly became soggy from the very wet red cabbage salad and therefore had a scary color. The red cabbage also overpowered everything in terms of taste. There was a lot of torn duck on it, which I would have liked to have tasted more clearly. Too bad. Ambiance -- well, a supermarket parking lot. There were customers next door who had probably ordered several times before. They said everything is always ready on time. Maybe I just picked the wrong burger.

Great restaurant. Great staff and excellent food. What more could you want?

We very much regret that the Margarethenhof is closing its doors at the end of the year. Here on Fehmarn it is one of the most creative cuisines served in a local atmosphere with a harmonious price-performance ratio. We wish Ms. and Mr. Dietrich all the best for your next project.

We spent the first evening of our vacation here. Very, very tasty, very, very filling! Excellent value for money. Our dog was allowed to come along, and we got a table that was perfect for him. The service team and the chef were incredibly warm and friendly. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat delicious fish in a friendly atmosphere without any unnecessary fuss.

We have been coming to Aalkate for many years and it has always been one of our favorite restaurants. A lot has changed there in the last few years. We really like the extension with the winter garden and boathouse. We always liked the very warm welcome, but unfortunately that changed with the departure of the long-standing staff. But what really shocked us this year is the hidden price increase 😟. While there used to be 2 pieces of cod, now there is only 1 piece on the plate. You now pay extra for the side dishes that were previously included in the price. We paid just under €90 for 3x cod + side dishes and 3 drinks and that was self-service. It's a shame, but it doesn't work for us anymore

A really great restaurant on the campsite. We went there for lunch by bike. The food is delicious, the prices are fair and there is a large playground for the children right next door.

The owner was very accommodating and competent, the atmosphere was cozy Italian and the service was perfect. The food was absolutely amazing, the black spaghetti with shrimp was simply delicious, the Hawaiian pizza was super tasty and the gratinated salmon was simply a dream. A tip from my brother inspired us to eat here today, and it was a really successful evening with very good food in a great atmosphere. We'd love to come back.
