At first we were happy that the shop reopened after 7 months (quite a long renovation period for a small shop, but whatever).
We were just surprised that the opening ceremony had so few customers and that it was mainly celebrated with families and acquaintances.
In addition, the acquaintances were usually treated better than the customers themselves and the atmosphere seemed so cold and the interior looked more like a train station or even a hospital than a snack shop - nothing colorful or brown furniture that would have given more warmth, just white.
All I can say about the staff is that they came across as unsympathetic to me and seemed happy to get rid of us so they could continue to enjoy their private dinner among families.
The food was perfectly fine, but it didn't blow our socks off either, especially since it was much more difficult for me to choose than before, when I could have ordered a pizza or meatball if necessary, but unfortunately these are no longer on offer.
So I hope for the owner that he and his family get things together again, otherwise it could mean the end.
Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The sauce was forgotten, and the grilled meat we ordered, including rotisserie meat and two skewers, was five greasy pieces (2x2cm), burnt mushrooms, and two meatballs on bread... No rotisserie meat and a ridiculous portion...
At least the currywurst was okay, but without the sauce we ordered...
Too few staff, everything was overflowing with rubbish, the employees argued with each other in front of the customers... and that's why the food was prepared quickly.
I won't be coming back anytime soon. Even though I pre-ordered via the app, I probably waited another 20 minutes in the store. That's absolutely reasonable, no question. But when I returned to my car, the line at Mac Diversity had formed so long that I couldn't leave the parking space first and then the parking lot. I was stuck in the parking lot for 25 minutes. That's completely unacceptable... and none of the employees seemed to notice and/or be interested in finding a solution. This was definitely not "fast food."
The nuggets were very old and chewy, this place is usually always slow and packed and always gets my orders wrong in some way. But today was the last straw I ordered chicken nuggets and they were disgustingly old and stale when I took a bite . Then i looked down & saw I was eating old nuggets!
No matter when and how often you go, I have never had ice cream in Kalbach. The ice cream machine is always broken or the ice cream is out.
I can't understand that at all, the McDonald's is in the middle of the motorway and should be able to get this problem under control after months.
In addition, according to the opening times, the branch is open until midnight, but at 11 p.m. you won't see anyone anymore.
I see an urgent need for action by the branch manager here.
