McDonald's in Kaiserslautern

Here, the staff speaks in Russian about guests sitting outside who have complained. Point 1: Not in front of guests inside. There are people here who speak Russian, too. Bad luck... Point 2: We're in Germany, and I wish the staff spoke the local language.

Food OK 👍 Sanitary facilities not clean - but there were a lot of guests and the staff were very busy.

Forgot the burger again, trust is good, control is better, make sure that you check immediately, I just did it at home, burger for 8.99 was completely missing

Ordered several hamburgers to go, and the outside of the hamburgers was also wrapped in foil. Opened them at home... all with cheese, great for lactose intolerance (although it's doubtful if it's even real cheese). Simply awesome. The place is a disaster. Management doesn't have a clue either. Complete incompetence.

Visited yesterday. Very clean. The atmosphere is definitely different from other McDonald's. Pleasant music creates an upscale atmosphere.

One of the best McDonald's visits we've had. A clean, bright restaurant, very friendly staff, and everything was perfectly prepared when ordering (unfortunately, you don't get that everywhere). The kids also got something to color, something we've never experienced before. We'd love to come back.

Mc Drive waiting time about 45 minutes

Very clean and modern McDonald's! The restaurant seems relatively new, or at least very fresh and well-maintained. Everything was spotlessly clean during my visit—both in the dining area and at the self-service kiosks. The staff was friendly and efficient. Ordering and serving went smoothly. Overall, a very positive impression. I'll be back!

Bad McDonald's: unmotivated employees, poorly prepared food, and German is rarely spoken. Addendum 06.06.2025: To make matters worse, some parking spaces were removed and a second McDrive lane was actually created. This means that guests are apparently not welcome in the restaurant.

This is the second time in a row that something was forgotten in my order. Why do I, as a customer, have to check whether MC puts everything in the bag? It was the same employee twice... I won't be back for a while...

It took 32 minutes to get to the drive-thru counter. An absolute disaster.

I received a cold cheeseburger after waiting for my very simple order for over 20 minutes, although it was not packed at all.

An hour-long wait for cold food, and all menu items came without fries. Terrible service. It was the last time I went there.

Employees refuse to give ice cream to teenagers and refuse to teach German. Toilets don't flush. Ice machine was cleaned, sold out, and broken at the same time. You are forced to take your receipt with you in very bad German.

The award for the most bad-tempered and rudest boss definitely goes to the boss at this McDonald's!!! The fish always stinks from the head - and this place is the perfect example! This morning, the McDonald's wasn't overly busy - but it was clear that the two employees were simply overwhelmed - and what does the boss do? She sits in her office, then comes out briefly to get a burger and a coffee and disappears back into her office - leaving her employees in chaos! We waited 30 minutes. During our order (which - as expected - was completely wrong!), two people arrived who had apparently already contacted the top boss to hand in their application documents or wanted to know if there was a possibility of working there. Completely annoyed and dismissive, the boss made it clear to them that she didn't have time today - she would look at the documents tomorrow and then we'd see! So yes - it's Sunday, perhaps not the perfect day for an application for everyone. But anyone looking for staff should take at least 5 minutes to have a decent conversation! This kind of treatment of applicants and staff is abysmal (especially in front of customers!!!) – this lady should definitely reconsider her position!

What can I say? Great food, etc. But what always gets overlooked and no one talks about is the staff. They are so FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND COURTEOUS. They ask if everything is to my satisfaction. Absolutely fantastic, and for that, *THANK YOU*

It wasn't fast food, it was slow food (in a negative sense)... I've never had to wait that long for a bad burger.

There was hardly anything going on but we had to wait forever for food. The customers afterwards were seen but ignored for the time being. Just because they wanted to order directly at the checkout. Then I had to go back because my vanilla shake had coffee flavor in it. Then I was just annoyed by the store.

Staff seemed uninterested and expressed this. My order was called 4 times with the wrong number until I asked if it was my order. Some conversations should not be continued in front of customers, especially if the customer is not interested. Nevertheless, I was able to observe how a young employee was trained in a respectful and informative manner. Parking spaces are available and are currently being created.

Unfortunately, even in “normal operation” they have difficulty getting the food hot to the customers. Unfortunately, orders are overlooked too often... We should stick with BK...

This is the worst location in the sense every single time me and my family go here they always never give the full order. The orders come up on screens so there's no Excuses. Never going back here.

We were at McDonald's on Easter Sunday and were initially happy about a nice Easter promotion: a small egg carton with cardboard eggs to paint was distributed to each table with children - including rhinestones, googly eyes, stickers and other craft items. Everything was just loosely packed in a plastic wrap. It was clear to us: This is a gift to take home. However, another employee later came and took the packages from all the children - with the explanation that they were only allowed to take the painted eggs. That was disappointing. The craft items fly around loosely after opening anyway - you can't offer that to anyone properly a second time. The campaign was well thought out, but unfortunately poorly implemented. Food was ok, waiting time too.

Feels like the cleanest, tastiest, most beautiful McDonald's in the Palatinate. Nice staff and always so nicely decorated. Thank you!

Anyone who has 30-60 minutes to spare is welcome here. Since fast food should be quick and shouldn't take as long as a 3-course meal, I can't recommend this McDonald's at all

Often very crowded here, slightly longer waiting times when picking up from the store, nice staff, everything is clean and comfortable. I like being here.

According to the employee, you can only order one Minecraft menu per McDonald's app, there were four of us and she refused to take my order due to an obvious lack of mental capacity. There were 4 of us and we just wanted 4 menus and we simply refused because the system said it wasn't possible. What's strange is that I can order more than one at the terminal.

The nuggets were very old and chewy, this place is usually always slow and packed and always gets my orders wrong in some way. But today was the last straw I ordered chicken nuggets and they were disgustingly old and stale when I took a bite . Then i looked down & saw I was eating old nuggets!

Edited 25 Mar 2025: Service was exceptional today. Someone cleaned our table when we sat down and came by and gave our 2 yr old a balloon. We might have to come to McDonalds on Tuesday evenings instead of the weekend. Renovated and clean. Service can be slow. We waited over 20 minutes for our food today (12 July 2024)

We placed an order for parking lot number 2 today. Two Mc Smart menus and one 9er nuggets. Nuggets were missing and instead we were packed two McRibs?! The employee was also anything but polite. Doesn't work at all

Unfortunately, now all you get is rubbish. Overpriced garbage. It's a shame how the quality has declined more and more in recent years. But I would never have thought that it would end up like this. Too bad. Burgers that taste like cardboard and have roughly the same consistency... ...and which are probably actually made from it)... 🤢 Recommendation: Better go to a good diner with good burgers. They are worth the money and actually taste like a burger.

Plastic part in the McRib! We were at the McRib Drive-In. The food was relatively cold, so nothing unusual. The plastic part in the photo was in the McRib.

We arrived and order our meal at 11:10 it is now 11:49 and we still have not Been served. Once our meal came it wasn’t our meal but someone else’s. I spoke to the waitress and she said just sit down and we will bring your food to you. When our order came they did give us an extra cheeseburger.

The McDonald's is just filthy. You walk in and there's trash piled up everywhere. There's mayonnaise or something smeared on the wall. Nothing is tidied or cleaned. The staff is slow and unconcerned about the queue forming in the sales area. They leisurely and unhurriedly pack the bags and then make customers wait 30 minutes to place their order. I can't say whether the food is good, because after waiting 30 minutes to place my order, I gave up and left. The kitchen was just as dirty as the dining room. There were fries all over the floor that had been crushed for some time. An absolute disaster. We drove on to the next McDonald's, which we also know and know is normal there. (Grünstadt)

I use the app. I use it to order and pay for my chosen burgers. Once I get there, I just enter my code, and after a very short wait, I get my order. It's really great. I always go to the drive-thru.

Cleaner than most MCs... I don't like the food and I get stomach problems every time I go. Also, I think every burger tastes the same. The only good thing is the apple turnovers!

Friday, 1:30 p.m. Incredibly good. Structured, organized, and clean! The best branch I've ever experienced!

I've actually had no problems with McDonald's at the Opelkreisel so far. I ordered the Iced Coffee Shake Choke without ice cubes. Mind you, this wasn't the first time. Immediately after ordering, the young man at the counter was told that this wasn't acceptable and we were made to feel like we'd committed a crime. When we finally got the shake, it was 95% full of cream. We then took it back and asked why the shake only contained cream. (I don't even pay more than €4 for cream in a store!!). We were then told to wait in the parking lot. The employee told us that he had already made it again and if it still wasn't right, he wouldn't make us a new one and we wouldn't give our money back. If you don't want to sell the shake without ice cubes because it would then make a loss and not the desired profit, then just say so! I've had the shake several times without these problems. Simply incomprehensible and outrageous. We will definitely not be visiting this McDonald's again!

The wait time was far too long (drive-thru 2:33). We waited 45 minutes to get our food. And that's not the first time...

Within 8 days I ordered and picked up food at the drive-thru. 2 items were missing from the first order (6 items), and 1 item was missing from the second order. Quality control should be urgently introduced here. This is far from customer service, and if I didn't check, I would go home with an incomplete order.

Unfortunately the playground was closed, but for children there are two play equipment on the wall and free balloons.

This McDonald's is certainly a bit cleaner than the other one in Kaiserslautern. The food, well, is still fast food, and you can't expect top quality. It's quick when you order something, but it's often simply ignored when you make special orders, for example, if you say you don't want onions. It's not a must-go there; for a quick meal, it's "okay."

!!ATTENTION!! Trying to get hot or lukewarm food at this McDonald's is impossible, no matter what day of the week or what time of day. Everything is always cold, so much so that the warning on the ice-cold apple turnover, "Caution: It's hot," seems like a bad joke. The burger topping is everywhere but on the burger. Be careful; eating the ice cream could result in an extended stay in the bathroom. The frying oil tastes like it hasn't been changed in days. This place really should be closed down—and the health department should take a look.

I know you can think what you want about McDonald's, but last summer I was here for the first or second time in my life and it wasn't bad.

Just McDonald's, it wasn't too crowded, clean and the food was good

While we were ordering we were kicked out by a guy with a headset and told to go through the drive-thru. Nowhere does it say that the restaurant closed after midnight, the door was open and other people paid a few seconds before us. I have never experienced such bottomless impudence. I will never eat here again. Merry Christmas!

For McDonald’s as a fast food restaurant, it’s already fit

A friend and I recently ordered food at the counter around 3 a.m. (pre-ordered via the app). They told me they were out of half of it. Okay, they should leave it out and give us the receipts. When we picked it up, they did have it, but they didn't have other things. I also got a McMilchshake, for example. I don't know if that's the right thing to do, but in my opinion, it should have been served cold. Then it might have tasted better. Also, one of the two apple/chocolate turnovers was simply left out. I didn't get the receipt either. And I also left about €25 behind for that.

This McDonald's branch really just can't get anything right... I've been standing in line for 30 minutes AGAIN, and five cars have already moved on. Things are often missing, the employees are only moderately friendly, and lately the food has been really poorly tossed, cold, or overcooked...

Normalerweise gut, der Service leidet aber, wie bei vielen ähnlichen Restaurants, unter immer wieder abgelöster und ersetzter Belegschaft. Leuten die kein so tolles Deutsch sprechen erklären zu müssen, wie Bestellungen zu funktionieren haben und dann TROTZDEM nicht das richtige Ergebnis zu bekommen ist leider etwas dass mehrmals schon vorkam. Aber die erfahrereren Kollegen beheben solche Fehler zum Glück dann aber schnell, deswegen nur ein Stern Abzug.

The food used to be edible, but now it's not even warm anymore. The cheese isn't even melted anymore. The staff at the drive-thru laughs at customers when they ask if the coupon codes work there. 90% of the time, they forget something from your order. If you then politely ask for the forgotten item, they tell you that it can't be right. And last but not least, the communication: if you don't speak a word of German or English, you have no business working at the checkout, sorry.

Very slow drive thru. Ruined my lunch time. I have not enough time to wait 20 minutes in drive thru and be ignored by workers. Very rude. Did not give me my reciept either. Will not go back, and will tell everyone it's the worst McDonald's so they don't go. Wish I was warned.

This store has had an organizational problem for years. Long waiting times, everything seems totally disorganized. Half empty shop this evening and waited 20 minutes for the order. Something is always missing from the orders or is wrong.

Service at night is zero, the store is closed and orders can only be ordered via McDrive. Long queue and 30 minutes waiting time, sometimes even longer.

McDonalds is always better everywhere else except the United States. What is up with that? This place is no exception. Menu is affordable and selection is plenty with even vegan menu. They have the McCafes which also serve delicious coffees and desserts. So, the kids can have McDonalds and you can have a coffee. You can have a Happy Meal for 5 euros or a Der M meal, which is incredibly huge, for 15. You can have cheese cake or an apple pie. Either way it is great. The only thing better in the United States is the drive thru. Do remember that it is not fast at all just convenient.

Taste and prices of course like everywhere else. But 11 minutes for a double cheeseburger and a wrap is way too long a wait for me. Especially if there was no one left on the list and there wasn't much going on in the restaurant either. Oh well. The wrap was then cold too. I don't need that anymore. It was just an “embarrassment visit” because there really wasn’t any time. But that didn't save any time.

Our ritual after the city of treating ourselves to a Megges ice cream and a milkshake was not possible for us, because there is no chance of tasting a milkshake here because it was not made available to us at all. Apart from that, the ice cream here isn't really recommended, why? You can't call it ice cream with caramel sauce if you can't see any of it, let alone taste it. In addition, the staff is a disgrace. You are ignored and, even worse, at best just looked at stupidly. The music brings nothing but a headache and the ambience, well, no more words... So people Landstuhl Megges is better!

Very clean, staff quick and friendly, we enjoy eating here.

It was clear, I ordered a cappuccino and got the drink from the fully automatic machine. Annoying, I can then get a coffee from the machine at the gas station. Toilets are clean.

Four of us ate there today. 2x Happy Meal and separate burgers. We ordered from the machine and when our number was displayed for collection, there was no order, the waiting time was longer than usual. The number had now disappeared and when my husband asked, the order was forgotten and not visible to the customer on a shelf on the side of the counter. The food was therefore no longer very warm. In addition, a burger was given out incorrectly; instead of spice chicken it was the normal chicken burger. After complaining, we received a fresh spicy chicken burger. From the ambience it seems quite cozy. The waste areas were very crowded and overflowing, but were cleared up during the course of the visit. When the outside temperature was 12° degrees, the sliding entrance doors remained open, which was a bit too cold in my opinion.

We were there today, I'm actually not a McDonald's fan, the children are, I was very positively surprised, it was super clean and the staff were very quick and friendly.

An absolute disgrace, there was no sauce on either Mc Rib, Royal Cheese or Mc Chicken, everything was bone dry and almost cold. I'm really angry. It's about the branch at the Opelkreisel in Kaiserslautern
