The wait for a burger and fries was 15 minutes when the first of only two customers arrived. That's ridiculous. On top of that, almost nothing in the restroom worked, including the soap. The atmosphere was cold and unpleasant. What also really annoyed me was the lack of a payment terminal and the absence of Swedish crowns, which was incredibly frustrating when you came all this way just for that. Overall, extremely bad.

What a place! The entrance doors were practically falling apart, the heating wasn't working (it was -8°C outside), and there were five buckets in front of the toilets to catch the water leaking from the ceiling. The burgers weren't even warm, and the cheese wasn't even slightly melted. A complete disaster! I'll never come back here.

A very unhygienic Burger King employee works in jogging clothes. The atmosphere is terrible, there's no heating, it's so cold you wouldn't even want to eat there. I always thought Burger King was somewhat consistent, but I've never seen such a bad Burger King. It's so bad I wouldn't even give it one star, but unfortunately, that's what you have to do.

I have to share my opinion and reconsider. It's absolutely nothing like it used to be. It was our favorite Burger King. The food, and especially the fries, sit there forever (at least 20 minutes during my visit, and they didn't make any new ones in the meantime). The staff is incredibly slow... if you see any at all. Even though it says so everywhere, MyBurgerking isn't accepted here. The interior looks really bad now. And there are no restrooms. What has happened here?

I was here 25 years ago during my time in the German army. But these days, the place looks very run-down. There aren't enough tables upstairs. There still aren't any order screens. My order for five people was piled onto two tablets like cattle, so of course, you couldn't keep track of who ordered what or if anything was missing. Each person should have their own tablet with their order on it. The food wasn't what I'd expected either. However, the staff were very helpful and tried their best.

I was very satisfied with my visit to Burger King! The food was freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and served quickly. I especially enjoyed the Whopper – juicy, with crisp lettuce and a perfect sauce. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. I would definitely recommend Burger King if you're looking for good fast food in a pleasant atmosphere.

A return visit to Kaiserslautern with family on October 24, 2025, brought us back to Burger King. And our favorite manager was on duty. Mr. Justl (we had asked for his name on our first visit) is a great person to talk to. Since our fries were missing and the cash register was busy, I spoke to him about it, and he apologized, handed me the fries, and wished us a nice evening. We'll definitely be back. We visited Kaiserslautern a few days ago and stopped briefly at the Europaallee branch. Our burgers, fries, etc., were super delicious, except for one cheeseburger, which was missing cheese. We quickly informed the manager, Mr. J. (who apologized and was very friendly and accommodating), and he immediately gave us a new burger. 5 stars for the great response. Thank you, and we'll be back. Furthermore, we unfortunately don't understand some of the reviews here at all, but they probably come from people who have never worked in a chain restaurant. Especially since you should perhaps think before giving a review, since jobs usually depend on it. After all, these are people, not machines, and mistakes can happen.

It was just my first time at Burger King in my life. So I paid 5 euros and 28 cents for two cheeseburgers and drove on. I wanted to eat them at a rest stop 1 km further down the highway. Ice cold! I haven't been to this burger joint in years, and today we were overcome by the urge to go. When I saw the menu board at the drive-thru, I should have just driven on. Then we arrived at the intercom, which was taped together. Then we met the unfriendly employee at the checkout, who didn't even give us a receipt. When we got home (5 minutes from the burger joint), the food was relatively cold. The napkins were simply crumpled into the bag and couldn't be reused. When I bit into my burger, it was still partially raw. That was the end of dinner 🤷🏽‍♀️, and definitely my last time at this burger joint.

Completely unreasonable wait time (15 minutes for a Coke, burger, fries, wings, and salad). I first ordered individual items and then asked for a meal. Nothing – everything was billed separately. Incompetent staff served me and then ran to the drive-thru and left me standing there. The other employees around me showed no interest. Only after shouting loudly did they resume working on my order – a real rip-off. Hygiene was nonsensical. A disaster. Tray carts not emptied, broken restrooms, no soap – don't go there again, folks. The food was okay – but the wings were overcooked.

Some of the seat cushions are broken (large tears), ordering from the vending machine isn't possible, you don't receive a receipt after placing your order, and you don't see your order on the cash register display. The air conditioning and ventilation are broken, resulting in stuffy air. Not recommended.

Two years later, unfortunately, it's still a disaster! From ordering at the counter to an employee who has never heard of friendliness, to the food that was cold, to the restrooms that simply stink, and the hand dryer that only dispenses cold air. Unfortunately, there are no 0 stars. Currently, it's truly a disaster. The employees don't even know the price of a drink, and the burgers were cold. The ice cream for dessert had already run out for some by the time others even got their ice cream. The friendliness also leaves a lot to be desired.

However, the amount due was debited from my card twice because I was asked to present the card twice (for whatever reason) which I immediately noticed and addressed in the restaurant. After many calls to KL and also to Schlossburger's main accounting department in Hamburg, email traffic with scans of forms and receipts, it took almost a month until I got my money back. That was definitely too long and not customer friendly. Some processes could potentially potentially be optimized.

I'm giving it one star only so I can write this review. There was only one car at the pickup window at the drive-in and I waited at the order counter for about 15 minutes without being accepted. When I drove up to the window, assuming that the ordering counter might be broken, the young man with a headset on his head saw me, pushed the window shut and turned around and left me standing there. So no service, it's a shame I'll avoid this Burger King from now on. Especially since after standing at the counter for 15 minutes you could signal to the customer that you've noticed them. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first incident with long waiting times or orders not being packed and forgotten. It's a shame, good service and quality looks different.

We waited easily for ten minutes, even though there was only one other customer in front of us. The branch was simply understaffed. After we ordered the food, it came in a reasonable time, so everything was ok - we thought. First of all, we always order the vegetarian version of the burgers. When we unpacked the burgers, the patties were completely black on the edges and some of the top and bottom sides were completely burnt. This is not normal and other branches don't do this. The employee said that he could redo them, but they would look the same again. We ordered the burgers again anyway. They came and were at least less burnt, but still couldn't be eaten completely. Conclusion: Sorry, that was nothing! For us it was definitely the last visit to this Burger King.

The waitress, a Russian woman, is completely overwhelmed and seems to have no knowledge of the MyBK bonus program.
