Saturday at the McDrive - THE disaster, once again: Shortly before the end of breakfast time, three gardeners are standing squarely in the driveway with their trailer, baskets are placed in front of the ordering machines, thus blocking the access for drivers. Hungry in the morning? You can't be at McDo. Getting out and going into the "FAST FOOD restaurant" is not an option for a McDrive driver; people have their reasons for wanting to stay in their car. Even a friendly approach was unsuccessful; you were met with a gleeful, ignorant dismissal on an empty stomach. Disappointed, hungry, frustrated, stressed without coffee and breakfast, the day off that you have been looking forward to all week begins - but definitely not again. There are alternatives where you can spend your money.

A McDonald's that's very conveniently located. Unfortunately, the service here is often slow. It feels like an eternity until your order is ready, whether it's drive-thru or inside. It's always best to double-check that your order is complete with larger orders. At least, that's been our experience.

It took them 15 minutes to make me a coffee today. No German, no English, and utter incompetence.

The store is dirty, everything is dirty and filthy when it's not busy. No number at the vending machines, even with four occupied tables. After a long wait, half the food got cold, and apple pieces and toys were missing. I haven't been this dissatisfied in a long time.

Very, very sad here... Drinks are prepared without enthusiasm. Wait times are endless... Coffee is served in a paper cup without a lid... Some of the staff are unmotivated and unfriendly. This used to be a top spot, but now it's best to avoid it...

I ordered vegan chicken nuggets but they had meat in them. I asked for new ones and they just said no, no, don't worry.

Ordered food via the app and picked it up at the McDrive. When I got home, I discovered the food was missing. I couldn't reach anyone by phone.

I've been waiting for my order for 30 minutes. The situation is not being resolved, no one is doing anything. There are not enough staff, there are a lot of people in line. I have never seen such terrible service.

When ordering (two identical Happy Meals with chicken nuggets), as so often happens, all the sauces were "forgotten." This is starting to look like a strategy at the drive-thru. If you then dare to call and complain about the recurring error, you're just rudely dismissed.

I like the McDonald's. The parks are well-maintained. It just sometimes takes a little longer because it's the only McDonald's in the city.

One McMuffin Egg took almost 15 minutes and looked like it had been spat out.

If there were zero stars, I would give them. Waited 20 minutes for the food, had table service, and the food was freezing cold. I sent it back, and the burger was cold again 😡 Well, they say, all good things come in threes... Not only that, but employees smoke in the beer garden and just flick the cigarettes away. I've never experienced anything like that before, and the whole place is covered in filth... I'll never go there again....

The manager is very rude and unhelpful. The smallest requests overwhelmed the employees, and they became unfriendly. If possible, I'd rather go to a different McDonald's. If I could give fewer stars, I would give even fewer.

Absolute impudence! Ordered online, 11:45 PM at the drive-thru, one car ahead of me. Suddenly, the lights go out at 11:58 PM, then an announcement over the loudspeaker, sorry, we're closed. They said your order wasn't accepted because we're closed. I replied, it's not midnight yet. The young employee confirmed that my order was in the computer. I would have liked to give it to me, but a shift supervisor insisted on finishing work on time. After a brief discussion with the shift supervisor, or whatever he thinks he is, I was told that the order hadn't been confirmed, so I wouldn't be paid, and to finally get out of here. I've never experienced anything like this before. Yes, most of the four-year-olds aren't clean, or the sale items are sold out on the first day. I was here the other day and bought myself an iced coffee. After finishing my drink, I was a bit shocked to see that it was more than 50% full of ice cubes to save on soft serve or coffee. When I look at all the other reviews here, I wonder why employees like this, let alone franchisees like this, are even allowed to open their doors in the morning.

We waited 20 minutes for our food, and after complaining, we waited another 10 minutes. But when we still hadn't received anything, we complained again, and only then did they start making our food. In the end, we waited 40 minutes without any food.

Totally disorganized, burgers sit in the bags for 10 minutes before someone makes the fries. Then, instead of three large portions, you get a medium portion at most if you're well-intentioned. On top of that, the fries were so soggy and undercooked. The burgers were so over-saturated with sauce that they completely fell apart. Orders immediately appear on the display board as ready for pickup, presumably to comply with McDonald's waiting times. After that, you have to wait another 15 minutes. Plus, you don't get any cup holders for pickup, it was the same last time. How are you supposed to hold three drinks in your car by yourself? Thanks! They were apparently out of large bags, too. You pay so much for them these days and get 0 service. I won't be coming back. Always a disappointment. Normally, you should get your money back for that.

It's a disaster. Everyone is running around without any sense of direction. The food is cold and the wait is too long! This is unacceptable.

I waited over 25 minutes for my order – completely unreasonable for a fast food restaurant. When I finally got my food, the burgers were cold. After I politely complained, the manager came over, touched my burger (!) with his bare hands, and said it was "still warm enough." Completely unacceptable from a hygiene perspective and simply disrespectful. He wouldn't give me a fresh burger – only my money back. That's not how you treat customers. Unprofessional, unhygienic, and rude. I certainly won't be coming back.

It's well known that this McDonald's is a disappointment, but today was the last straw. Once again, the burgers were cold, presumably because it took over 20 minutes from ordering to pickup, and the burgers were placed on the tray first. A replacement wasn't even offered; instead, the money was immediately refunded. I have experience in the restaurant industry myself and can definitely assess that the restaurant manager doesn't have his restaurant under control. The display at the counter that shows the number is broken, the music sounds so distorted that you'd think you were at a Schranz concert, and last but not least, the restaurant was so dirty and filthy today that you don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like. It was probably better that the burgers were cold and we didn't eat them. If you want to visit a halfway decent McDonald's, you'd better go to the Opelkreisel or, even better, to Landstuhl.

The playground is very dirty. Do not let your children go there. The staff is friendly, the food is like in other restaurants.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing visit. It was busy, but that doesn't explain the chaotic and disorganized process. Several employees stood around idly, chatting or busy with their phones instead of attending to the numerous customers waiting. I had specifically ordered takeout, but it still took far too long. Particularly annoying: Some orders were displayed on the screens as "ready for pickup" even though they hadn't been prepared yet. When I asked about it, they simply said that otherwise they wouldn't be able to see the orders anymore – completely incomprehensible and unfriendly to customers. Overall, a slow, frustrating process with poor service. This is not what you expect from fast food. I will definitely not visit this branch again.

What can I say? It's a McDonald's where you can get cheap food for a lot of money, and the employees serve you half-heartedly. Of course, there are better options for a snack or something, but you can always do it if you have no other option.

My boyfriend and I went to this McCs and I can say that I have never experienced service like this before. I work in the catering industry myself and the place wasn't busy. We ordered for €40 and were initially sold the wrong donut, which we naturally refused, and instead got a muffin. Up until that point, everything was fine. But when we noticed that a burger was missing, we went back and they claimed we didn't have another burger, which is why I went back. I went there (on my own) with the receipt (he didn't even ask for it, just looked at the tablet.) It was cheeky when he then realized that I was in the right, he said he had forgotten it and handed me the cold burger. Afterward, I asked if I could have a hot one. They took the burger again, and when we got the "new burger," it was the same lukewarm one with a new slice of cold cheese. A younger guy had been working there. Actually, we wanted to be able to eat together in a relaxed atmosphere, but that wasn't possible. I'm incredibly pissed off and hope they fire the right people.

You can't compare it to how it was in previous years; the taste was much better, but it has deteriorated considerably.... It's a shame.

Once and never again. McDonald's Mainzerstr. After more than half an hour, I went to the "pickup" line. Then, after much complaining, they started slowly. Ordering took a full 45 minutes. Delivery was obviously preferred.

We were there on a warm Saturday, so it was very busy. The staff were completely overwhelmed. We stood there for almost 40 minutes waiting for our food. My friend wanted to pay at the cash register and eventually just left because, after 40 minutes, no one had noticed him and no one came to the cash register to take his money. The manager had to help out, so sorry, but even if it was stressful, they should be able to manage.

New. Wrong order at the McDrive for the third time. It would be nice if the person opposite me would understand.

I rarely write reviews but I have to say this was by far the most disastrous McDonald's I've ever been to. There's a world of difference between this one and Kirchheimbolanden in every respect. Everything inside is full and the staff are calm. Then on one of the burgers there were several black pieces which suggest that the grill isn't cleaned properly. I always leave out two ingredients on the other burger. I specifically entered them into the machine and it also says so on the sticker on the box. Of course these two ingredients were included. Given how calm they were, it's incomprehensible that so many things are wrong.

It's like any other McDonald's. I thought the food was delicious, and the preparation and service were quick. However, there were a few tables that hadn't been cleared. I found the atmosphere pleasant and cozy.

It's a pity that the lowest star is only one, it should be lower! Children's meals are always missing something and the management is chaotic.

Ordering online to the table took almost a quarter of an hour, even though there were only a few guests in the house. During the entire visit of approximately 40 minutes, the deep fryer continuously emitted an alarm tone. The employees pressed the buttons a few times and nothing happened. The crowning glory was the toilet. The floor was sticky. One of three urinals was covered with a garbage bag. In one stand there is approx. 10 cm of urine in it. The last one worked. Toilet one was totally messed up. Toilet paper was everywhere on the floor and the toilet seat was dirty. Toilet No. 2 was unusable because the toilet seat was torn out of its holder and was hanging halfway down the toilet. There was no cleaning plan, as usual at McDonald's. This store is absolutely unhygienic and I will now inform the health department. I have never seen such a bad McDonald's.

I didn't think I'd give a bad rating to a McDonald's. A 42-minute wait for a standard order (two menus, a coffee, and two desserts). The server came to ask us if we ordered a latte after 38 minutes before leaving. There was no way to order the ice cream, so it arrived half-melted, while I had to eat my fries before they got cold. The servers asked us if we ordered a kids' menu, even though we clearly had our order number. No reusable tableware, more packaging than in France—disappointing considering Germany, which generally lectures us on ecology.

I can't really say anything. It's just McDonald's.

We were here first thing in the morning as we were passing through - the toilets and sink were not clean, the food took a long time to prepare and something was missing. It was also evident on one employee's face that she didn't enjoy her job.

Hello, Waited 35 minutes for 2 drinks and 2 cheeseburgers. Outdoor area very unkempt and dirty.

We wanted to go get dinner in the evening... driving through the MC Drive-In... you notice that according to the app and website, it was still open, and the lights were on everywhere. We stood at the drive-in for 5 minutes and nothing happened. When we finally got fed up, we left. When we drove past the outdoor area, all the employees were sitting at their tables, chatting with each other. I find that outrageous and will not go there again in the future.

I can't recommend this McDonald's because there were a lot of things wrong with it. Firstly, we had to wait forever for the food; secondly, the fries, for example, were only half-eaten; thirdly, there were WHOLE onions on the burger; fourthly, the burgers aren't very well made; everything falls apart as soon as you open the box; and fifthly, the restrooms are disgusting and not even remotely clean.

A nice clean restaurant. I immediately noticed the cleanliness and order and really impressed me.

When we go to McDonald's, it's always this one because it's the closest to our home... But that WAS IT! And this is the 3rd time. And what's more, I went out... Then discovered in the car that the BOOK wasn't even packed!!!! That was the last time I or we visited this MC Donald! Don't spend any more money there if you go there specifically for something that is being advertised... And in the end you will be completely ripped off and forget half of it! People... Unbelievable...I waited 35 minutes in McDrive and then got cold food. Apparently nothing is done about the online complaint unless a receipt is submitted. However, I didn't receive any. Never again.

On the website, it says they work until 2:00 AM. I came today at 1:10 AM, and they were already closed. I saw that all the machines were turned off, the door was locked, but the lights were on, and there was only one employee cleaning the tables. Why list operating hours until 2:00 AM if, in reality, they leave and close an hour earlier? That’s the first issue. Secondly, after 7:00 PM, there is almost NEVER any ice cream or shakes available. For some reason, the machines that make these items are turned off after that time, or I don't know what exactly happens at this branch. After 7:00 PM, it's impossible to order ice cream or shakes, and this has been going on for the past five months. Thirdly, once we came in for lunch and ordered a shake. My girlfriend found a hair inside it. She only noticed because she likes to open the lid and stir the contents with a straw. The hair was 3 cm long and coarse. They offered to replace it, but she declined. That completely ruined our impression. This is probably the worst McDonald’s branch in the entire city.

The food was slapped on together. They didn’t even try but after reassembling everything it wasn’t terrible. Fries were like they were thrown in the microwave with some being warm and some being cold and soggy. The lady forgot to press the cash out button on the kiosk so the card reader just said “welcome to McDonald’s” as I was trying to tap my card. She just handed me the entire card reader and said “I don’t know” and walked away. I can just feel I was treated different because I am American which seems to be a very common trend here.

Don't know what to say. Ice cream machine and milkshake machine broken again. Location in every McDonald's. Cleanliness without words.

I ordered something and got other things

Food is average, service is not so good, one staff came to our table and told us to leave the table because the table we sat on has a screen which you can play game on. The tone of hers was really rude.

I don't actually write reviews unless I think I'm being offered incredibly poor service. We visited their branch yesterday in the pouring rain to pick up food for the onward journey. When I arrived in the car with the food bags, I discovered that something from my order was missing. So we got back in the car. Tell the children that they didn't get the toy they selected and come back in. Staff weren't too happy about me coming back in.

The food was okay but the toilets were, to put it bluntly, extremely dirty and neglected. Urine on the floor, the former towel holder without towels was probably torn out of the wall, but there was an electric hand dryer without any function. Only for people without a sense of smell and any feeling of disgust who can move through rooms without touching the floor is it halfway tolerable.

Had an encounter with the manager who was cross-eyed and wore glasses. Extremely rude. She said she didn't have time to give me my 1 euro coins for a 13 euro order. There were no cars in line. I went to get breakfast at McDonalds this morning! Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed my coffee wasn't a latte macchiato but just coffee with very hot milk. Latte macchiato is not a hot drink but a lukewarm drink! Then the Big Morning Egg was swimming in gravy! My money was definitely worth it for breakfast!

According to opening times 7:00 a.m. Sometimes they open at 8. Sometimes they open at 7:45 a.m. Toilets are incredibly dirty early on

I experienced the development and conversion of this McDonald's because I lived right next to it for years and compared to back then, I find today's Mc's to be much more vivid - it's clear that over time the modern one will move into the business like everywhere else. You can see this, for example, on the modern order board and the many new products. I have always been very happy with this McDonald's The staff was always super nice and competent when I was there. I also ordered from Lieferando for a long time and never had any problems. Everything ran like clockwork😊 Prices have gone up as usual these days but it tastes good and I love it dadadaDA

Something is always missing from the orders... It's a shame that there isn't an opportunity for little visitors to play like in other branches. (Indoor play walls or small scaffolding)

The food was always McD quality, however the bathrooms were full of paper. It seems that they have placed another type of marking for the paper dispenser and it did not cut well, the bathroom was full of wasted paper. The customer service seems to have collapsed a bit when the restaurant had a lot of people.

07/21/24 I was in this establishment, I have never seen anything worse than this poppy: the fries were cold and clearly not fried in fresh oil, the burger was also brought cold, the order was not transferred, I had to explain to them what was missing, it was very dirty everywhere. I don't recommend it to anyone.

The food wasn't fresh and hard and we found hair in the food. The service was okay and the rest was bad. I wouldn't recommend coming here
