Borkowskis Original Berliner Currywurst in Berlin

A curry stall that promises a lot and delivers little. The employee is quick, but impersonal and disinterested. After 10 seconds, the price is announced several times, even though you haven't completely placed the order yet. The sausage waits lonely and slightly dried on the side roaster - just lukewarm to cold on the plate. When asked and pointed out, one senses a lack of interest in answering it. Fries are good and the hot onions are great. It's a shame, there could be more going on if the service was good and the sausage came fresh and crispy from the roaster. Let's go to the next booth

Currywurst cold and tasteless, ketchup wasn't tasty either. Too expensive for the trash can! Never again !!! Complaint pointless.

I ate a currywurst there today. The service was very nice and quick. The tomato sauce was nice and fruity and more than enough. The currywurst was grilled to perfection. Werder too dry, burnt or too greasy. For €2.50 there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

I recently tried the currywurst here simply because I was hungry. I've been coming here more often since then and can't complain. The lady is very friendly and serves a nice hearty portion!

Not sure what the other reviews are on about as this woman was an absolute gem! She was quick and very sweet as well as the food was great! Lets not be so harsh yea?

Price okay. I personally didn't like currywurst that much. Sausage was okay but I didn't like the sauce at all. It was cinnamony

Cold and rock hard fries... Currywurst was raw and cold... She often never listens properly and often mixes up the orders. Every time you look forward to a currywurst and fries, it gets worse every time... So it's better to go to Maximilian or Curry Paule

Today I had a snack again, had fries with curry meatballs and braised onions. Meatball was cold, onions were very raw and the fries were swimming in oil... so much so that my pants had an 8 x 15 cm oil stain on them...😤 I complained and was informed that this is how it is and the onions are floating in the oil..... It's just strange that this is never the case with the other older colleague, and with this younger colleague the onions are raw... I'll take a break and go somewhere else... LG

The sausage is not my thing, very tasteless and the consistency is not that great either.

The Currywurst snack bar offers delicious sausage and fast and friendly service. Highly recommended!

This is probably the worst currywurst you can get in Berlin.

I can't understand the negative reviews! On the contrary, it is finally a curry stand in the age of Turkish and Arabic snacks that you will soon no longer be able to see, a really good German snack bar! very good homemade ketchup with a high proportion of tomato paste, nice onions, spicy and generous for 30 cents (I don't know why the braised 50 costs). Curry boulette made of good minced meat, which you can tell, with onions inside and herbs. They lie in a stock, where the onions are also braised, so they taste very good and are juicy. The only point of criticism, which doesn't lead to a downgrade for me because you have to give the curry sausages a little more time: they aren't particularly crispy, so I took a meatball. Mayonnaise for 30 cents is very good and rich and when you say really spicy, then it is really spicy. I can't say that the lady was unfriendly, on the contrary she was very nice. Great portion and very tasty, full marks, highly recommended! And even draft beer for 2.80 is good too. Great newly discovered snack with the best quality and ok price.

Absolute catastrophe, the disinterested employee prefers to chat with someone in Polish or something. Customer service is rather unfriendly. 1x currywurst to take away, everything served adulterated in the bowl, floating in ketchup, everything careless and annoyed! That's exactly how it tastes! Well, it's not an original Berliner. Currywurst could be fried longer. Totally flabby. Ketchup is fine as is the service. The location is a disaster! Directly in the entrance area. The people who walk past can eat with you. Unfortunately a fail

Impossible!!!! The food could taste good if it wasn't so spicy and the service was completely insolent, unfriendly with women, terrible service... tried it a second time in the hope it was better... Horrible never again

Absolute impudence, you stand there to order something and what is it? The lady prefers to hang on the phone and make calls. I waited 3 minutes or more and she didn't even bother to end the call. I won't get anything more from there. Just happened. (September 5th, 2023 at 5:10 p.m.) The disinterested lady has blonde hair.

Underground. The worst currywurst I've ever eaten. Rancid. Unfortunately the fries weren't any better either. I would avoid this stand.

Nette Dame am Tresen. Sehr leckere Currywurst und Soße! Pommes wurden nicht bestellt aber sahen optisch Standard aus.

Wollte schnell bevor ich ins Kino gehe was warmes essen und habe mich für die hier Angebotene Currywurst mit Pommes und Cola für 6€ entschieden. Die Currywurst und die dazugehörige Currysauce waren okay, jedoch war der Geschmack vom Ketchup für die Pommes überhaupt nicht meins. Für was schnelles zwischendurch denk ich okay, würd persönlich aber hier nicht nochmal was essen.

Es schmeckt alles ,Preise sind okay, Personal etwas kühl aber trotzdem freundlich
