It would be nice if they hired people who can actually read, so you don't always get the wrong thing.

No table service, even though there were plenty of staff standing around behind the till with nothing to do. There were seven people behind the till. The tables hadn't been cleared. The fries were already cold when they arrived.

McDonald's in Nieder Eschbach on Sunday, November 2nd at 6:50 PM: extremely slow food service. The drive-thru was packed and they were working incredibly slowly. Quite annoying. 45-minute wait after paying.

Absolutely terrible! Opening hours are arbitrary, and it has nothing to do with "fast" food anymore. I had to wait 17 minutes!!! behind two other people in the drive-thru to get my order. The staff speak broken German, or maybe not at all…

Unfortunately, the portions aren't as advertised and often vary depending on who's preparing them. But otherwise, it's OK.

Delicious and the food was served very quickly.

I ordered the new plant-based nuggets with the lime & chili flavor. Instead, I got regular chicken nuggets, which I only noticed when I bit into them. I will never go to McDonald's again, and I would advise everyone else to do so; the food is horribly bad and the place is completely filthy. It's completely unacceptable that they can't even read the orders properly. I haven't eaten meat in several years, and the lack of interest shown when I pointed this out was ridiculous. I then received new ones, unfortunately still not with lime chili, even though I paid for them.

Everything was very unkempt and dirty. In the children's area, everything was broken and in some cases not even set up.

Overall, it's okay. There are a few suggestions for improvement. It seems pretty chaotic. Wait times are too long, even for cold food.

Today at 9:12 PM, I stood in front of a locked door. McDrive was abnormally slow. According to the internet information, it's open until 11:00 PM. There's nothing about exclusive McDrive. This is a lousy move in my opinion. Or does McDonald's really need to save some of its VAT by only serving takeout after 9:00 PM, by only operating the McDrive service??? They lure customers to a closed door and then offer them the option of waiting in line forever until they finally get their food at the McDrive. And this doesn't even meet McDonald's standards. If this is one of the franchise McDonald's,... Clearly not what you're used to from McDonald's. And if it's directly managed by McDonald's, then good night!!! One point too many for this branch is the chef.

Not recommended after 6:00 PM; no table service, orders are only accepted at the McDrive, and the quality is poor overall. Often, the fries are already old.

Unbelievable! The word "fast food" is foreign to this place! It's MC Drive, 6 cars ahead, and it takes 40 minutes to order. Another 15 minutes to get the order. Almost an hour! Unbelievable!

Good McDo with fast service and clean

There were too many people on Saturday and the staff were overwhelmed. There was also a problem with the division of labor. The hamburger-making production line was blocked, but there was a shortage of front-desk staff to serve the meals.

We were told that after 11 p.m., we were no longer allowed in and could only drive through. Coupons were no longer accepted at all, with the claim that the app was no longer working.

I've never seen such an unfriendly and overwhelmed team at McDonald's. I'll never come here again!

The price increases for the inferior food are not only outrageous but also unrealistic. I will not be visiting this chain again. At these prices, the competition can actually offer decent quality.

A great, big McDonald's. Plenty of room. There are soft seats, and even a place for kids. I recommend it.

We ordered via app and weren't even allowed into McDonald's; they said it was closed.

This McDonald's is the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. Almost every second order is incorrect or incomplete. Furthermore, there are significant communication problems with the staff, as many employees barely speak German. This regularly causes chaos and frustration. Management should take urgent action, otherwise this location will seriously damage McDonald's image.

Closes before opening hours, unfriendly staff

Very long wait times. And the employees don't seem to want to bring the food to the table. The cash registers aren't working, and only one cash register is open.

A typical fast food joint. Nothing special and usually crowded during rush hour. There's not much to report about the food itself; it's the same offerings as in all branches, which is what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. The McDrive is also fairly busy to overcrowded during rush hour, and you don't notice much of the "fast" food there. Update: More and more often, you find yourself in this branch with locked doors, defective card payments, etc. Unfortunately, this has been happening more and more often lately.

It took forever, communication was difficult, and the toilets and tables were dirty. 😣What a shame!

It's just a fast food restaurant, what can I say, but unlike others in the industry, it's clean and friendly.

Great service and fresh food! Even minor issues are resolved without discussion. I'd be happy to go back. It's definitely the top McDonald's in the area!

A McDonald's that didn't serve me the iced matcha latte I ordered revealed more than mere negligence: It revealed the depths of a system that preaches reliability and delivers indifference. The cola, watery and devoid of any dignity, no longer had anything to do with cola. As the Big Tasty Bacon Lord wisely put it: "When the cola no longer sparkles and the matcha green no longer glows, then even the gold casts only shadows." Sticky tables, grease-laden air, and staff who seemed degraded to automatons completed the picture. What remains is the realization: Beneath the golden arches lie not fulfillment and joy, but the bitter symbol of a globalized indifference.

I don't recommend the drive-through. The food is okay, but we ordered expensive burgers and only got cheeseburgers. We didn't notice until we got home, but we paid full price. Very annoying!!! It's best to check right away!

A truly economical Big Mac. The pickle slices are extremely small, the sauce is very sparse, and the toppings are also meager.

Dirty seats, food not served on trays, and ice cream hollow inside, so it was only half a portion. Access is dangerous for pedestrians. It seems to have been designed solely for drivers.

Today a particularly bad burger full of sauce, I've never seen so much sauce on a burger before, absolutely DISGUSTING and Uber doesn't want to give any money back. Paypal case opened and the rating stays so you can work on yourselves.

Next time you go, make sure there's actually a burger patty in the burger, especially if you're paying almost €12+ per meal. ...Or save time, when only two of the four self-order kiosks are working. ...Or arrive before 9 p.m., because the inside staff will block off the seating area. And ALL of that, assuming you even agree to eat McD's. Ouch...

At 7:50 PM, neither a shake nor ice cream is available, and that's in the summer when the temperature is 30⁰. It's ridiculous.

I was just at the McDrive and I'm very dissatisfied because we stood there for about 40 minutes and the food was still inedible.

I ordered a white cookie and it arrived. I opened it when I got home. First, it was a black cookie, and half of it was bitten off, which was very disrespectful. I could report McDonald's for this.

I ordered a Happy Meal and when I got home, I found out that they haven't put the toy in it. Is it possible to do that to a child? Am I supposed to check if they are doing their job?

Sometimes we come here with our family. We like everything. The service is friendly, there are always free seats.

Like every one of the 1 million McDonald's locations. The positive thing is you can also sit outside.

Opening hours are not being adhered to. It's already closed even though it's supposed to be open. The ice cream machine never seems to work. Cash only to keep customers away. Wait times are extremely long. Bad store.

The employees are hopelessly overwhelmed, stepping on each other's toes, but no one knows what to do. The tables are completely filthy, table service isn't being done, the signs are simply gone. Unfortunately, the screen for picking up food at the counter is also broken... worst McDonald's ever.

The wait times are unbelievably long. Over an hour for nothing major.

Unfortunately, this McDonald's has been declining lately. Currently, it closes at 9:00 PM, which is no longer necessary.

Very dirty always. The tables are almost never pushed without you telling them. The toilet is terribly dirty always. It has a beautiful location and that's why it's always full, but people are always in a hurry to get their food and hardly pay attention to the dirt.

Unfortunately, there were no more Mc Café items available at 9 p.m. today... this was apparently decided without the branch management's input.

I just wanted to order an ice cream, but the ice cream wasn't taken out of the ice cream machine as usual, but rather from the fridge inside. When I asked the team leader about it, he said it was normal even though it was the only ice cream in there (probably a wrong order from a customer, who knows how long it had been there). Very bad shop and has been for years.

Had the chicken wings here. Old, dry, and hard. But at least they were warm.

There were a lot of people in the restaurant. Unfortunately, there were no milkshakes available. There were no straws for the drinks either.

I was here at the end of May, and the outside temperature was 29 degrees Celsius. It was also quite warm inside. I ordered two iced shake chocolate coffees. After waiting for five minutes, I was told they didn't have them. Therefore, I should get my money back. Another five to ten minutes later, I was told they couldn't refund me because I had paid with a card at the ATM. Instead, I should send my bank details to an email address and describe the problem. I would then get my money back. I received the contact details on a nearly black piece of paper. It's questionable whether I'll get my money back, since no proof of problems was provided.

Classic McDonald's. They don't have regular ice cream, but they do have the new McFlurry 😂

Outside, there's a giant sign saying open 23 hours. At 9:55 p.m., the McDrive was blocked off with cones. The McDonald's in Kalbach seems to have a different timekeeping system: 8:00 a.m. - 9:55 p.m. = 23 hours 🤷. Now I've discovered the Burger King a few kilometers away, right off the highway in Oberursel. They have the same timekeeping system as me and also have significantly more plant-based products. Thanks, McDonald's, that was fantastic service. Without this experience, I would have gone there again and again and wouldn't have even noticed the competition.

This is the worst McDonald's in all of Frankfurt am Main. I ordered two Happy Meals, a big MC meal and a big MC grizzby. Everything was there except for the Big MC. I'm a regular customer and I always order two Happy Meals for the kids, even then there were sometimes no nuggets in them, but today was the worst. The new staff are all crap. All the Pakistanis and Indians, you can't even place an order properly because they don't understand a word. I'll NEVER go there again, endless cheating and rip-offs. They've lost me as a regular customer.

There are certainly good McDonald's branches, but this one isn't one of them, absolutely not. I don't need to say anything more about the shrunken and overpriced burgers. The place was cluttered from the entrance to the table. The ordering terminal displayed errors five times after the card payment, and only then did the receipt appear. The printer's panel is broken. After 10 minutes, I was able to pick up my three burgers, fries, and Sprite. There were no straws, no napkins. The table was sticky, and after they wiped it, the whole table was wet. While we were waiting for our burgers, we got a good insight into how things work here. I think fast-food restaurants are different. At one point, there were five men and one woman standing at the counter, one of them packing a bag, the others standing in the way or reading out the order. I wonder how someone could do a 180-degree turn from the monitor and forget everything... There were already 16 portions of fries ready, but no customers were there.

Worst McDonald's for miles around. Takes forever. The McFlurry is always sold out.

Friendly staff, unfortunately the once delicious coffee is no longer delicious, cappuccino is like coffee latte, way too much milk, hardly any coffee taste, sorry for the hot foamed milk, I don't have to go there anymore..... what a pity

Quick break for food, on the road. Nothing new, just the usual McDonald's.

Unfriendly, and it says it's open 23 hours, but there's nothing there. They sit inside or stand outside and smoke. A disgrace, not recommended.

We had a meal here, and some kind of alarm kept beeping for 40 minutes. After a quick shopping trip to the hardware store, we went to McDonald's for dinner. I ordered table service via the app. As someone with limited mobility, I wasn't too happy about having to pick up the ice cream myself. The food was so-so and rather on the lower end of the scale compared to other McDonald's branches.

I ordered a Royal double cheeseburger which smelled disgusting. They exchanged it for another one, but it wasn't any better either. The ice cream spoon was dirty… I will never eat here again - it can make you sick.

Classic McDonald's restaurant with quick service and quite clean. The only negative thing is that the playground here has not been available for the children for several years.

This morning I had to wait over 8 minutes for a simple burger and then got my money back. The employee couldn't do anything about it; she was sorry that she was alone and had to do the drive, the checkout and the food distribution all by herself. This has nothing to do with a fast food restaurant. Especially if the drive is used as a further service for fear of mysterious shoppers...

Something is always missing from an order

Never have anything. Oat milk never available. Employees are nice. But anyone who has to make sure that oat milk is there is failing miserably

We all know the image of McD. However, there are branches that make a bit of effort and branches in which nothing is really paid attention to. One of them is this one -.- I have received an incomplete order a few times. And I don't mean "ketchup was missing", out of 2 burgers I paid for 2 and got 1 ._. And as if that wasn't reason enough anyway... I get a product that was so brutal that I had serious vomiting diarrhea?! No, that's not propaganda, I've been shitting myself as much as I can. I HOPE that someone sees this review and does something to improve this store. I don't want to offend anyone, I just want to draw attention to being a little more attentive💀

Opening times are different every time

You can no longer rely on opening times. Was there for the second time around 10 p.m. and nothing was open anymore. Not even McDrive. There was security at the entrance. They have money for that. Stink sour.

No matter when and how often you go, I have never had ice cream in Kalbach. The ice cream machine is always broken or the ice cream is out. I can't understand that at all, the McDonald's is in the middle of the motorway and should be able to get this problem under control after months. In addition, according to the opening times, the branch is open until midnight, but at 11 p.m. you won't see anyone anymore. I see an urgent need for action by the branch manager here.

And twice meat nuggets were sold as vegan and in vegan packaging.

A complete disappointment. As a vegetarian for almost 10 years, I've always been able to rely on McDonald's vegetarian options for the past few years. From now on, I'll be giving this branch a wide berth. We went through the drive-thru and ordered, among other things, a 9-pack of McPlant nuggets to eat in the parking lot. I could taste the meat at first bite. My girlfriend then tried them too, and it was clear that these were NOT vegan nuggets. We also noticed that the packaging was the same as the regular nuggets. It can happen, we thought, went back, and the employees, who were more or less understanding and apparently found it rather amusing that they weren't even able to fulfill orders, gave us a new pack and fries as "compensation." This time, the package also listed vegan nuggets, and you could taste the difference at first bite. That's why I was all the more shocked when I bit into the fourth nugget and could almost hear the chicken clucking. We then opened all the remaining nuggets because you can tell the difference by the color of the "meat." Three of the "vegan" nuggets were made of chicken, and now we were really angry because that's really not right. So we went back and the employee was absolutely rude. She didn't even look at the nuggets but just repeated in broken German that she knew what the vegan nuggets looked like. At one point, my friend held a vegan and a regular nugget in front of her, and when the employee saw that, the malicious grin suddenly disappeared from her face. She fell silent, took the nuggets, and came back five minutes later with a new pack, sheepishly admitting that we were right. Absolute cheek.

Closes before official closing times

Every time I'm there the ice cream machine is off... They do the opening times as they want, once we stood in front of the closed door because they simply closed the shop earlier which wasn't stated online and once we had to queue in MC Drive (without a car) because they simply locked the inside.

This was my third time there in the evening (around 11 p.m.) and each time the branch was closed. However, the opening time is until midnight, as is the case again today. It's a shame I won't go there anymore.

Staff were mostly friendly, but the food was cold in the bag because it had been lying around pre-produced for ages. Meat patties tasted like cardboard, one of the burgers had 9 slices of cucumber on it (why??) and the cheeseburger, which was only ordered without cucumber, had neither onions, ketchup or anything else on it. Tables in the restaurant were dirty and tray returns piled up immeasurably. Too bad.

Ordered a Fish Mac menu on Thursday, March 6th, 2025. Since then I have had gastrointestinal poisoning! Fish Mac sauce was spoiled!!!

A group of teenagers were crowding the self-service kiosks, a child was trying to clean up a ketchup spill on the floor with a napkin, and a man who looked like he'd been trapped here for three days was staring at the digital menu board as if he was waiting for a divine revelation. I fought my way to the ordering terminal and typed in my order: a menu of burgers, fries and a cold drink - an easy choice, I thought. But when I pressed “order,” the terminal started making strange noises, flickered briefly and proudly presented me: 50 cheeseburgers. In a panic, I looked for the cancel button - but it had disappeared. An employee noticed my desperation, grinned and said: “Oh, we already had that today. Must be a curse.” Curse? I looked around. Maybe this McDonald’s was built on ancient fast food ritual grounds? Did someone once order too many fries and unleash some dark magic? Chapter 2: The Drink of Uncertainty After what felt like an eternity I received my food. I sat down at a table overlooking the large panorama of the McDrive line, where a car had apparently decided to make reversing an adventure. I took a sip of my drink - and was immediately confused. I had ordered cola, but what I tasted was... indefinable. A mixture of everything that had ever flowed from this machine. A touch of Fanta, a hint of Sprite, a touch of iced tea – the drink of uncertainty. I took another sip, wondering if I was about to get immortal powers or just stomach problems. Chapter 3: The French Fries Conspiracy The fries were hot, crispy – and numbered exactly 17 pieces. Not 16, not 18. Exactly 17. “Weird,” I thought. I watched the other guests. I also counted 17 fries from a man with a McMenu. A child who enthusiastically reached into his bag? 17. Even the older lady at the window? 17! Coincidence? Or was there a higher power behind it? Was there a secret order of McDonald's fries, a numerical constant that held the universe together? As I tried to prove the theory and steal one of the fries, a sharp look from the cashier snapped me back to reality. I ate my 17 fries and remained silent. Chapter 4: The final realization I left the restaurant full, slightly confused, but with a conspiracy theory behind me. Meanwhile, another car was backing up in the McDrive line, a kid was running through the store with a spot of ketchup in the shape of Elvis, and the ordering terminal was still flickering. I looked back at the golden M. “I’ll be back,” I murmured. But not until I'm ready to reveal the truth behind the 17 fries.

The service and ambience is ok, but the quality of the food is still acceptable at best with the introduction of new products. After a few weeks, things seem to be “optimizing” and the prices continue to rise.

Menu selection not good. It's better at other McDonalds. Many things were not available. Ice cream was only available without sauces. Mayonnaise was already opened and was still placed on our tray with our freshly ordered order. Did I get the mayonnaise from my predecessors? Then our sauces weren't right. Food was ok, but that's ok, something you won't go back to again. Otherwise it was loud and you can tell that the shop is older. You rarely go out for fast food and are still disappointed again and again, no matter which branch of McDonald's you go to.
