McDonald's in Frankfurt am Main

I just wanted to order an ice cream, but the ice cream wasn't taken out of the ice cream machine as usual, but rather from the fridge inside. When I asked the team leader about it, he said it was normal even though it was the only ice cream in there (probably a wrong order from a customer, who knows how long it had been there). Very bad shop and has been for years.

Had the chicken wings here. Old, dry, and hard. But at least they were warm.

There were a lot of people in the restaurant. Unfortunately, there were no milkshakes available. There were no straws for the drinks either.

I was here at the end of May, and the outside temperature was 29 degrees Celsius. It was also quite warm inside. I ordered two iced shake chocolate coffees. After waiting for five minutes, I was told they didn't have them. Therefore, I should get my money back. Another five to ten minutes later, I was told they couldn't refund me because I had paid with a card at the ATM. Instead, I should send my bank details to an email address and describe the problem. I would then get my money back. I received the contact details on a nearly black piece of paper. It's questionable whether I'll get my money back, since no proof of problems was provided.

Classic McDonald's. They don't have regular ice cream, but they do have the new McFlurry 😂

A lot has changed in the meantime and the service has improved

You can't call it fast food anymore if you have to wait 20 minutes. ;-)

Outside, there's a giant sign saying open 23 hours. At 9:55 p.m., the McDrive was blocked off with cones. The McDonald's in Kalbach seems to have a different timekeeping system: 8:00 a.m. - 9:55 p.m. = 23 hours 🤷. Now I've discovered the Burger King a few kilometers away, right off the highway in Oberursel. They have the same timekeeping system as me and also have significantly more plant-based products. Thanks, McDonald's, that was fantastic service. Without this experience, I would have gone there again and again and wouldn't have even noticed the competition.

Takes approx 30 min to get your order. Great staff but a bit disorganized since it is a very busy spot

This is the worst McDonald's in all of Frankfurt am Main. I ordered two Happy Meals, a big MC meal and a big MC grizzby. Everything was there except for the Big MC. I'm a regular customer and I always order two Happy Meals for the kids, even then there were sometimes no nuggets in them, but today was the worst. The new staff are all crap. All the Pakistanis and Indians, you can't even place an order properly because they don't understand a word. I'll NEVER go there again, endless cheating and rip-offs. They've lost me as a regular customer.

There are certainly good McDonald's branches, but this one isn't one of them, absolutely not. I don't need to say anything more about the shrunken and overpriced burgers. The place was cluttered from the entrance to the table. The ordering terminal displayed errors five times after the card payment, and only then did the receipt appear. The printer's panel is broken. After 10 minutes, I was able to pick up my three burgers, fries, and Sprite. There were no straws, no napkins. The table was sticky, and after they wiped it, the whole table was wet. While we were waiting for our burgers, we got a good insight into how things work here. I think fast-food restaurants are different. At one point, there were five men and one woman standing at the counter, one of them packing a bag, the others standing in the way or reading out the order. I wonder how someone could do a 180-degree turn from the monitor and forget everything... There were already 16 portions of fries ready, but no customers were there.

Worst McDonald's for miles around. Takes forever. The McFlurry is always sold out.

Friendly staff, unfortunately the once delicious coffee is no longer delicious, cappuccino is like coffee latte, way too much milk, hardly any coffee taste, sorry for the hot foamed milk, I don't have to go there anymore..... what a pity

Quick break for food, on the road. Nothing new, just the usual McDonald's.

Unfriendly, and it says it's open 23 hours, but there's nothing there. They sit inside or stand outside and smoke. A disgrace, not recommended.

We had a meal here, and some kind of alarm kept beeping for 40 minutes. After a quick shopping trip to the hardware store, we went to McDonald's for dinner. I ordered table service via the app. As someone with limited mobility, I wasn't too happy about having to pick up the ice cream myself. The food was so-so and rather on the lower end of the scale compared to other McDonald's branches.

Classic McDonald's restaurant with quick service and quite clean. The only negative thing is that the playground here has not been available for the children for several years.

I ordered a Royal double cheeseburger which smelled disgusting. They exchanged it for another one, but it wasn't any better either. The ice cream spoon was dirty… I will never eat here again - it can make you sick.

This morning I had to wait over 8 minutes for a simple burger and then got my money back. The employee couldn't do anything about it; she was sorry that she was alone and had to do the drive, the checkout and the food distribution all by herself. This has nothing to do with a fast food restaurant. Especially if the drive is used as a further service for fear of mysterious shoppers...

Something is always missing from an order

Never have anything. Oat milk never available. Employees are nice. But anyone who has to make sure that oat milk is there is failing miserably

We all know the image of McD. However, there are branches that make a bit of effort and branches in which nothing is really paid attention to. One of them is this one -.- I have received an incomplete order a few times. And I don't mean "ketchup was missing", out of 2 burgers I paid for 2 and got 1 ._. And as if that wasn't reason enough anyway... I get a product that was so brutal that I had serious vomiting diarrhea?! No, that's not propaganda, I've been shitting myself as much as I can. I HOPE that someone sees this review and does something to improve this store. I don't want to offend anyone, I just want to draw attention to being a little more attentive💀

Opening times are different every time

You can no longer rely on opening times. Was there for the second time around 10 p.m. and nothing was open anymore. Not even McDrive. There was security at the entrance. They have money for that. Stink sour.

No matter when and how often you go, I have never had ice cream in Kalbach. The ice cream machine is always broken or the ice cream is out. I can't understand that at all, the McDonald's is in the middle of the motorway and should be able to get this problem under control after months. In addition, according to the opening times, the branch is open until midnight, but at 11 p.m. you won't see anyone anymore. I see an urgent need for action by the branch manager here.

A complete disappointment. As a vegetarian for almost 10 years, I've always been able to rely on McDonald's vegetarian options for the past few years. From now on, I'll be giving this branch a wide berth. We went through the drive-thru and ordered, among other things, a 9-pack of McPlant nuggets to eat in the parking lot. I could taste the meat at first bite. My girlfriend then tried them too, and it was clear that these were NOT vegan nuggets. We also noticed that the packaging was the same as the regular nuggets. It can happen, we thought, went back, and the employees, who were more or less understanding and apparently found it rather amusing that they weren't even able to fulfill orders, gave us a new pack and fries as "compensation." This time, the package also listed vegan nuggets, and you could taste the difference at first bite. That's why I was all the more shocked when I bit into the fourth nugget and could almost hear the chicken clucking. We then opened all the remaining nuggets because you can tell the difference by the color of the "meat." Three of the "vegan" nuggets were made of chicken, and now we were really angry because that's really not right. So we went back and the employee was absolutely rude. She didn't even look at the nuggets but just repeated in broken German that she knew what the vegan nuggets looked like. At one point, my friend held a vegan and a regular nugget in front of her, and when the employee saw that, the malicious grin suddenly disappeared from her face. She fell silent, took the nuggets, and came back five minutes later with a new pack, sheepishly admitting that we were right. Absolute cheek.

And twice meat nuggets were sold as vegan and in vegan packaging.

Every time I'm there the ice cream machine is off... They do the opening times as they want, once we stood in front of the closed door because they simply closed the shop earlier which wasn't stated online and once we had to queue in MC Drive (without a car) because they simply locked the inside.

This was my third time there in the evening (around 11 p.m.) and each time the branch was closed. However, the opening time is until midnight, as is the case again today. It's a shame I won't go there anymore.

Staff were mostly friendly, but the food was cold in the bag because it had been lying around pre-produced for ages. Meat patties tasted like cardboard, one of the burgers had 9 slices of cucumber on it (why??) and the cheeseburger, which was only ordered without cucumber, had neither onions, ketchup or anything else on it. Tables in the restaurant were dirty and tray returns piled up immeasurably. Too bad.

In a panic, I looked for the cancel button - but it had disappeared. An employee noticed my desperation, grinned and said: “Oh, we already had that today. Must be a curse.” Curse? I looked around. Was there a secret order of McDonald's fries, a numerical constant that held the universe together? The service and ambience is ok, but the quality of the food is still acceptable at best with the introduction of new products. After a few weeks, things seem to be “optimizing” and the prices continue to rise.

Menu selection not good. It's better at other McDonalds. Many things were not available. Ice cream was only available without sauces. Mayonnaise was already opened and was still placed on our tray with our freshly ordered order. Did I get the mayonnaise from my predecessors? Then our sauces weren't right. Food was ok, but that's ok, something you won't go back to again. Otherwise it was loud and you can tell that the shop is older. You rarely go out for fast food and are still disappointed again and again, no matter which branch of McDonald's you go to.

This store is so disastrous, you don't even know where to start. Opening hours according to your mood, a good 11 people on staff, totally uncoordinated, cell phones are being played. You have to actively ask for your order, otherwise you'll fall behind. Communication is very difficult because unfortunately little or only very difficult German is spoken here. I'm really sorry, it's not my style to rant like this, but this store makes it very difficult not to leave a review. I'm really surprised that McDonald's Germany isn't taking action here. You can tell from the Google reviews that there's something wrong with the store, but McDonald's doesn't seem to care. Very sad what is happening here in Germany.

It's just a fast food restaurant, what can you say, but unlike others in the industry, it's clean and friendly.

I had several negative experiences but each time I thought to myself: okay, it can happen, we're all not perfect, but what's really not possible is when customer service responds aggressively just because you want an answer as to why the EC device breaks every evening. Every evening from around 9 p.m. payment is only possible in cash. It is not MCDonald's standard that you can only pay in cash at MC Drive after 9 p.m. and when I asked why that was the case, the colleague became loud. Absolutely not possible. The written complaint to management is out. Absolutely unacceptable customer service like this!

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The fries were cold and soggy, and the food overall was carelessly prepared. A clean and well-maintained store!

Unfortunately the opening times are NOT correct. Contrary to what they claim, this McDonalds closes from 9 p.m. and you are regularly standing in front of closed doors! Even on weekends, everything is closed after 10 p.m.!

Actually this store deserves 0 stars. Either it is closed or what you want is not in stock. And they are all unfriendly too. If you can, avoid this store. There are enough others. We'd rather go to Oberursel or Bad Vilbel.

I had the worst experience at a McDonald's I have ever had. We ordered four sandwiches, and all were cold with unmelted cheese. The bread tasted old and crumbled when touched. The fries were warm but soggy. I don't understand how this is possible - where are the surprise shoppers checking this store? It was a complete disaster and I will never come here again.

Ladies and gentlemen, this Mc'Donalds is actually number 1 when it comes to disabilities. This was a unique experience that will stay in your mind for a long time. Instead of 2 chicken burgers we got 3 apple turnovers. 2 cheese burgers and 3 hamburgers. However, after a complaint, the situation does not improve significantly. In the end we were said goodbye - I quote "Fuck you son of a bitch". This happened without any previous history and shocked us to the core. You have to know for yourself.

No matter when, no matter how, something is always defective at this location. I ignored it for a long time, but today I can't anymore. It's about ice cream machine, EC payment, no redeeming points or vouchers, chairs, benches broken or staff being overwhelmed, too few staff, the list can go on forever. In the parking lot you are greeted by the exhaust air from the deep fryer. Everyone likes to go to their fast food friend or just needs that fix, but here all the fun is taken away from them. I can only recommend everyone to avoid this branch. There are several others in Frankfurt that work much better.

This branch is closed every time from 9 p.m. There are people sitting inside who are still eating, but you are no longer allowed in. Mc Drive is open.

I ordered two times spicy checking nuggets, unfortunately two times I eaten old nuggets.

The order terminals do not work. No card payment either!

I stood at the cash register for a few minutes, a man and 2 employees, I don't know if the manager was wearing a gray coat He kept looking at me but didn't take an order. Some of them spoke a language that I didn't understand either. Then the order was taken. I ordered a Big Mac menu and got a Big Tasty Bacon. Although there was no bacon, I never ordered a Big Tasty. Then the man discussed it with me and said yes, because I'm in a good mood today, they'll get another burger. It was a really strange thing. I won't come here again, even if I have to starve. It's not a great shop and the service is terrible no thanks no please no bon appetit. People look at you and there is a discussion about the fact that you were asked about your order etc. that was nothing. My burger was kept apart so that I couldn't even finish it. Saturday evening. Of course there's a lot going on there. Unfortunately, only 1 of the 4 ordering stations works (my order: 277. I have no problem being “recognized”). Unfortunately there was no noticeable reaction from the staff despite being informed. I'm definitely not the usual complainer, but the toilet is beyond that, that's all I want to say here. Service ok, nothing to complain about.

A nightmare on every level – never again! This McDonald's branch is truly the lowest point of my fast food experience so far. Let's start with the staff: unfriendly, demotivated and cold as the North Pole. A smile? None. It seemed like the staff didn't care whether you were there or not. Every question was answered with an annoyed sigh or a shrug of the shoulders, as if the guests were a burden. I thought I had done something wrong when I just wanted to order my food. Then to the food: a disaster. My burger was not only lukewarm, but almost cold. The fries? Soft and limp, like they were fried hours ago. It was as if extra effort had been made to make the food as unappetizing as possible. Not even the ketchup could save it. When I finally sat down, I noticed that the tables and chairs were sticky and dirty. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was food leftovers and stains everywhere that no one seemed to care about. It was so unsanitary that I almost wanted to leave my cold food - which in hindsight I would have done better.

A case for the health department! Everything is stuck, broken and the play area is closed. Unfortunately, the sanitary area is also disgusting and stinks. I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like, we've really lost our appetite.

This store hasn't improved for years, unfortunately one of the bad McDonald's stores I know. Probably because it still runs and has a good location. Chaos, waiting times in the drive-in and lack of cleanliness. Still, nice people work there. The toilet rooms stink, paper dispensers are empty, used paper is scattered on the floor next to the full wastebasket. What a negative advertisement for this brand.

The hygiene in this store is just bad and disgusting. You order extra without meat and what happens, I find BACON on it!!! As a non-meat eater, that's not possible!!

Only the MC.Drive was open, so only one star for the atmosphere, although I think my car is very nice :-)

Would the ambience actually be less, as the tables were really dirty on my last visit. I didn't always think the food was that good. Unfortunately, on our last visit, my husband got food poisoning from the chicken burger. I'm sure the products are always fresh, but I think the problem lies with the preparation by the employees.

I did it again. I ate a cheeseburger at McDonald's and remembered that the parts just tasted soggy. And this is constant and always has been. A taste consistency of horror, so to speak. Hopefully I'll finally learn from this and not make the same mistake every year. Especially since you can eat super tasty burgers elsewhere.
