Waited over 2 hours to order, and then items were still missing...never again

Unfortunately, I have to say that the McDonald's in Kalbach is one of the worst I have ever visited. The ice cream maker? Of course it was broken. As always. No surprise considering the terrible reviews this store has already garnered. A disaster from start to finish. But the real highlight was when I stopped by just before closing time. The employees had already hidden in the dark 20 minutes before closing time! No lights, no service - apparently they just wanted to escape after work instead of doing their job. Simply incredible! If I could, I would give zero stars. A shop to forget!

Food is just McDonald’s. Neither more nor less. But what the completely unmotivated employees are doing today defies description. I've been waiting for the order for over 30 minutes now. Yes, there is a lot going on. But how unproductive can you be? And then unfriendly and annoyed. Bravo!

Opening hours are not correct😠😠

This place closes at 10am. Orders are only possible per vehicle. After all, it was closed during the day. The managers here seem to run the business as they please.

Been there twice at night during opening hours and closed both times. Please adjust. The light is still on but no one reacts. Very rude.

The stated opening times for McDonald's only refer to the drive-thru at this branch. The doors to the restaurant close at 9 p.m. Very annoying when, after a 12-hour drive, you just want to eat something again at 9:30 p.m. on a Sunday evening and not in the car!

For some reason there are no straws (including eco-paper ones). At the same time, in other departments they offered me.

Why should you go to McDonalds these days? BicMac menu costs €11-12, so I go to a restaurant or burger shop and eat real burgers and fries for €1-2 more. Fast food is no longer worth it, especially since the store here is a mess anyway

This store is the biggest scandal Opening hours as the employees feel like. I'm at Mcdrive during the stated opening times and the employee hides behind the counter so that he doesn't have to serve and I can continue driving. A shop like this in the middle of Frankfurt... There are no opening hours and no one speaks German. A loser shop like this... Doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Ice is rarer here than snow in the Sahara

As on the last visit, the toilets were extremely dirty, the trash cans were full of paper towels and there was urine floating on the floor. The staff was friendly, the preparation was quick and the food was fresh and tasty. It could have been a little warmer, but that can't always be avoided in a fast food restaurant. Everything outside was full of rubbish. Even if everyone can clear away their own rubbish, at the latest when the tables are full of rubbish, the service staff, who have been outside several times and seen the conditions, should react. There was also a group sitting outside between the guests who didn't think much of the smoking ban. Here too there was a lack of reaction from the service staff...

I arrived and waited for more than 1 hour and the food at this Mcdonalds is totally bad. The burger was soggy and the ingredients weren't really inside but spread all over the side. I understand that the employees have a lot to do, but something like this is just disrespectful. That's where the office should go. If you ask for something there (curly fries) they never have it there (for 2 years)

So the opening times here are similar to the lottery numbers, sometimes like that. The ambience in the restaurant is okay, at least from the outside. Because you usually can't get in. The products from the McDonald's range are usually only available to an extremely limited extent in this branch. And I don't accept the excuse of "the machine is off after 10 p.m.". Other branches, other restaurants can do it too! It feels like there is no heart and soul behind this. And after work (before opening hours) the employees prefer to stand in front of the branch smoking and comparing their carts. Branches like this are why the franchise has such a bad reputation!

We arrived in Frankfurt yesterday evening and were looking forward to eating in the restaurant. On Google it says open until 1 a.m.... we go there, the restaurant is closed, but the DriveIn is still open... then why were there people sitting in the restaurant? It just didn't make sense. And the sign at the main entrance also says that this branch is temporarily completely closed. Everything is very suspect and doesn't deserve more than one star due to the catastrophic opening times.

Once again the opening hours on Friday are until 3:00. You arrive at 2 o'clock and it's closed. Updated your times...opening times as you please.

Although I like the Mc Donalds in Kalbach, I always have to wait far too long when I order food, even though I live nearby. 41 minutes is too much for me but everything else is great

Today I was back in the branch after a while and was very pleasantly surprised! The store was relatively clean, as were the toilets (although 2 urinals were closed). The turnaround time was incredibly quick - after ordering I went to the bathroom (for number 1) and when I came back the food was ready. The staff spoke fluent German and were extremely friendly and helpful. I will gladly come again!

One of the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever been to. The dirty tables had to be wiped down and the garbage in the return stations was piling up.

It's just a McDonald's like many others. What bothers me a bit is that an employee emptied the garbage cans outside and came back into the store with the full garbage bag that was leaking heavily and once ran all the way through the kitchen with it. And in doing so he left behind an endlessly long trail of liquids that flowed out of the garbage bag. Extremely unhygienic! Why doesn't the employee go around outside and then throw it in the trash container? Why do you have to walk across the store, past the cash registers and across the entire kitchen, past the places where our burgers and fries are prepared? Why ? On the way back, when this employee noticed that everyone could see the trail, he asked another employee what he should do. When they noticed that I had seen it too and obviously wasn't impressed, they left it as it was so that more customers wouldn't become aware of it. So you knew it wasn't right that he walked across the kitchen with the garbage bag that was leaking. Luckily I only go to McDonald's once every few years, but now I avoid it completely. Hygienic is different. :( It was still possible that my one burger was upside down in the packaging. It can happen, but the fact that it came into contact with the box like a fan and a third of the meatball and cheese came into contact with it was a bit annoying. I had to completely reassemble the burger in order to be able to eat it fairly properly. But this is only in passing. But the garbage bag thing didn't work at all. :(

McDonald's has decided to no longer let people take orders but only through apps. If these apps simply gray out the "Pay" field at the end of a 10 minute entry, the staff can only apologize. They do this with empathy every time, that's why 2 stars... McDonalds is now only for people who enjoy spending half an hour in the restaurant in front of their cell phones and screens. Unfortunately not suitable for those who go in to eat.

Overall, it is a good place, but the bathroom is worse than any public toilet. I am saying that now, having visited them over a year, there doesn't seem to be a change. You wonder that if they are not even willing to make sure the toilet is clean, how much hygiene is performed in the kitchen? Guy really, this is disgusting!!!!

Unfortunately the play area was closed, apparently for a very long time. Of course, it was stupid for us on longer trips with children. No changing facilities available. Seating areas are partly worn out. Otherwise there was nothing else to complain about, but nothing nice to say either.

Today the management was inspecting the store, the numerous employees were just cleaning and clearing out. Tables clean, floor clean, toilets clean. Fresh fries and burgers. My companion's comment: "Funny, the tables don't stick at all" There was seat service, McCafe was staffed, even the ice cream machine was running. Unfortunately not the normal situation. On the “normal” days, if you’re lucky it’s still open (gambling from 10 p.m.), maybe the ice cream machine “works” and someone from the crew deigns to take the order and finish it. Of course, your own cell phone or loud “conversations” with your buddies come first. The quality of the burgers varies greatly, I often complain about brown, old lettuce, fries are usually okay. The cleanliness in the store (sticky tables, dirty floors, etc.) and especially in the toilets is so poor that I actually only use the MCDrive or pick up the food. Although, given the hygienic conditions...I don't even want to think about it. Everything in an "A" location, which is probably why the franchise doesn't care, because there's a lot of money coming in.

You can order food at the terminal and are even served directly at the table. Great service: the food is freshly prepared.

There are better McDonald's. Staff is quite lazy. They don't let you pay at the checkout, only at the terminal. They say they're all broken. Don't bring the orders to the table. Have put the table number away. Say you no longer offer the service. Some of them close earlier than the official opening hours. It's always annoying when you stand in McDrive for 10 minutes and then suddenly the person in front of you was the last one to get something. Food is ok. Definitely below average.

A burger is always missing. I often only notice it when I get home. Somehow you can't get fresh fries and nuggets anymore. Everything like rubber. The tables/seats full of crumbs. There is always no ice cream or new toys from the Happy Meal. You are always fobbed off with stale things. It's a shame the store isn't running like it used to.

Saturday afternoon: crowded, loud, not so clean.

Not good service! The card reader doesn't work, I drove 20 minutes to the nearest ATM, then I come back and the shop is closed. Although according to the opening times it is still open for 1:20 minutes. Employee makes eye contact with me through the window, ignores me and turns off the light, that's disrespectful! This is the second time I've experienced this in this branch. They do what they want here. I'll never eat here again.

There's not much to say, the staff constantly forget to pack burgers and you only notice it afterwards when you get home. So over the course of a few orders, a few euros are often embezzled - apparently it works quite well in all branches of this chain. Tip: It won't be far until the next Bak, it's best to drive there 😉

Of all the McDonald's I know, this is by far the worst ever!!!!! The machine for ice cream or milkshake is always out of order!! You get cheated almost every time if you trust that the order is complete!!! Today I was cheated out of a menu again, only the fries were packed and the burger was missing!!! When you order several menus, something is almost always missing!!! Today I was stupid and didn't check and presto there's no complete menu!!!!! Of course no one answers the phone!!! Unfortunately I am very disappointed with this McDonald's branch. This is actually one of the more upmarket McDonald's in Frankfurt. However, the closure took place at 11 p.m. on a Saturday, even though the website said it would close until 3 a.m. Accordingly, some potential customers were also faced with closed doors. The ice cream machine has also been broken for a long time.

Clean and tidy and still great years later

Fresh and warm as well as tasty and satisfying. The staff is friendly and quick.

I ate there today on April 10, 2024 at 2:56 p.m., curly fries lukewarm, staff very unfriendly, the kitchen didn't look really clean, what you could see from the counter and especially then you just take away all the table service signs.. .is probably more convenient if people have to wait. Points are not received for an order when asked....we can't do anything about that....You are the restaurant so they have to take care of something like that.

In terms of taste and quality, it's one of the better McDonald's branches in the Frankfurt area, but you never know whether you'll be standing in front of the door open or closed. The opening times, which are consistently stated on both Google and the McDonald's app, are rarely adhered to, especially late in the evening / at night (open until 1 a.m., usually closed at midnight, if not earlier) . I've also experienced 2-3 times recently that the restaurant was temporarily completely closed, for whatever reason.

I originally gave a different review, but after giving this branch a few chances, it's too much for me. I can only agree with the other reviews here: absolutely uncoordinated kitchen, missing items in take-away orders, soggy/cold fries and the cookies from McCafe are so hard and dry that you don't even want to know how long they've been lying around. I never expected much from McDonalds, but even my low expectations were brilliantly exceeded. With McDonald's prices constantly rising, the quality is simply no longer acceptable.

Never encountered such a disgusting and dirty MC, toilets are totally dirty, smelly, soap is just standing next to the sink, no toilets to lock... you don't even know where to touch the door because everything is sticky and disgusting. Rude staff and long waiting time for 2 burgers. There is no emphasis on hygiene in the kitchen, no hairnets, gloves or proper storage areas for tongs. Cheeseburger rolls totally wet and soaked in fat, chicken burger salad yellow and brown (not fresh) and the taste is no longer what it used to be. The paper from the burger was completely smeared with mustard and other sauces. It's a shame, people used to enjoy being here, but unfortunately not anymore.

Impossible staff! Stubborn, unfriendly and inflexible. If you want to change something while ordering, you will be told that you cannot do so because it has already been typed in. Such nonsense! I went to the toilet and it was very dirty and no toilet paper. The toilet seat was also broken. The service was unfriendly. She refused to speak German... the food came quickly, otherwise everything was good. No wonder there were fewer people in there!!.. ;(

A good cafe, like all McDonalds. I don't come here often, but somehow every time I am here, something is not available on the menu: milkshakes, some types of ice cream... If I were management I would point out someone planning purchases and deliveries here, there are problems with planning, that's obvious.

The store is a complete disaster

I was ignored for minutes at the order receiving desk, even though an employee was not 3 meters away, putting orders together and chatting to a young employee. When I asked if anyone would like to serve me, I was only briefly looked at and ignored. Even when I realize that if no one wants to take my order, I'll probably leave had to, the young employee moved not to the checkout where I was standing, but to the McCafe checkout and continued the conversation with the employee. An absolute low point for McDonalds.

Unreliable Once again, burgers and sauces are missing from the bag from the drive-in counter. It is not possible to trust that the paid order will be packed correctly and completely into the bag.

Easily accessible - very fast service

The kitchen workers work entirely without hairnets/coverings or gloves. A hair on the food in this McDonald's is therefore not surprising.
