Food was good but I've never waited as long for my food as I did here, a full 32 minutes until it was finished, this is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to and I've been going to McDonald's for 39 years, not recommended

Ordered a Fish Mac menu on Thursday, March 6th, 2025. Since then I have had gastrointestinal poisoning! Fish Mac sauce was spoiled!!!

But when I pressed “order,” the terminal started making strange noises, flickered briefly and proudly presented me: 50 cheeseburgers. In a panic, I looked for the cancel button - but it had disappeared. An employee noticed my desperation, grinned and said: “Oh, we already had that today. Must be a curse.” Curse? I looked around. Maybe this McDonald’s was built on ancient fast food ritual grounds? Did someone once order too many fries and unleash some dark magic? Chapter 2: The Drink of Uncertainty After what felt like an eternity I received my food. I sat down at a table overlooking the large panorama of the McDrive line, where a car had apparently decided to make reversing an adventure. I took a sip of my drink - and was immediately confused. I had ordered cola, but what I tasted was... indefinable. A mixture of everything that had ever flowed from this machine. A touch of Fanta, a hint of Sprite, a touch of iced tea – the drink of uncertainty. I took another sip, wondering if I was about to get immortal powers or just stomach problems. Chapter 3: The French Fries Conspiracy The fries were hot, crispy – and numbered exactly 17 pieces. Not 16, not 18. Exactly 17. “Weird,” I thought. I watched the other guests. I also counted 17 fries from a man with a McMenu. A child who enthusiastically reached into his bag? 17. Even the older lady at the window? 17! Coincidence? Or was there a higher power behind it? Was there a secret order of McDonald's fries, a numerical constant that held the universe together? As I tried to prove the theory and steal one of the fries, a sharp look from the cashier snapped me back to reality. I ate my 17 fries and remained silent. Chapter 4: The final realization I left the restaurant full, slightly confused, but with a conspiracy theory behind me. Meanwhile, another car was backing up in the McDrive line, a kid was running through the store with a spot of ketchup in the shape of Elvis, and the ordering terminal was still flickering. I looked back at the golden M. “I’ll be back,” I murmured. But not until I'm ready to reveal the truth behind the 17 fries.

The service and ambience is ok, but the quality of the food is still acceptable at best with the introduction of new products. After a few weeks, things seem to be “optimizing” and the prices continue to rise.

Menu selection not good. It's better at other McDonalds. Many things were not available. Ice cream was only available without sauces. Mayonnaise was already opened and was still placed on our tray with our freshly ordered order. Did I get the mayonnaise from my predecessors? Then our sauces weren't right. Food was ok, but that's ok, something you won't go back to again. Otherwise it was loud and you can tell that the shop is older. You rarely go out for fast food and are still disappointed again and again, no matter which branch of McDonald's you go to.

Something is constantly forgotten when ordering, and the staff, mainly an employee at the mcdrive, is always there on Friday evenings, is totally rude and constantly touches things with their fingers!!!! the drinks! This store is so disastrous, you don't even know where to start. Opening hours according to your mood, a good 11 people on staff, totally uncoordinated, cell phones are being played. You have to actively ask for your order, otherwise you'll fall behind. Communication is very difficult because unfortunately little or only very difficult German is spoken here. I'm really sorry, it's not my style to rant like this, but this store makes it very difficult not to leave a review. I'm really surprised that McDonald's Germany isn't taking action here. You can tell from the Google reviews that there's something wrong with the store, but McDonald's doesn't seem to care. Very sad what is happening here in Germany.

Dirty. No table signs. The operator should be ashamed

I just had dinner with you on Heinrich-Lanz-Allee in Frankfurt. I was told there that there was no longer a double pack menu in Germany?! I've been a regular customer for 23 years and always order the double pack menu with two Royal TS hamburgers, my favorite burger. I am very disappointed and you will lose a customer permanently if you do not revise this decision. They referred to the coupons, but there is no such option and I am not willing to pay almost 20 euros for my favorite menu by ordering one separately + a McMenu.

On Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. the shop is already closed.

It's just a fast food restaurant, what can you say, but unlike others in the industry, it's clean and friendly.

I had several negative experiences but each time I thought to myself: okay, it can happen, we're all not perfect, but what's really not possible is when customer service responds aggressively just because you want an answer as to why the EC device breaks every evening. Every evening from around 9 p.m. payment is only possible in cash. It is not MCDonald's standard that you can only pay in cash at MC Drive after 9 p.m. and when I asked why that was the case, the colleague became loud. Absolutely not possible. The written complaint to management is out. Absolutely unacceptable customer service like this!

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The fries were cold and soggy, and the food overall was carelessly prepared. In addition, the restaurant was dirty, the tables had not been wiped down and the seat cushions were completely worn out. The staff seemed overwhelmed and not very motivated. A clean and well-maintained store!

Unfortunately the opening times are NOT correct. Contrary to what they claim, this McDonalds closes from 9 p.m. and you are regularly standing in front of closed doors! Even on weekends, everything is closed after 10 p.m.!

Actually this store deserves 0 stars. Either it is closed or what you want is not in stock. And they are all unfriendly too. If you can, avoid this store. There are enough others. We'd rather go to Oberursel or Bad Vilbel.

The food was so good the breakfast mc chicken was good

I had the worst experience at a McDonald's I have ever had. We ordered four sandwiches, and all were cold with unmelted cheese. The bread tasted old and crumbled when touched. The fries were warm but soggy. I don't understand how this is possible - where are the surprise shoppers checking this store? It was a complete disaster and I will never come here again.

Ladies and gentlemen, this Mc'Donalds is actually number 1 when it comes to disabilities. This was a unique experience that will stay in your mind for a long time. Instead of 2 chicken burgers we got 3 apple turnovers. 2 cheese burgers and 3 hamburgers. However, after a complaint, the situation does not improve significantly. In the end we were said goodbye - I quote "Fuck you son of a bitch". This happened without any previous history and shocked us to the core. You have to know for yourself.

This branch is closed every time from 9 p.m. There are people sitting inside who are still eating, but you are no longer allowed in. Mc Drive is open.

I stood at the cash register for a few minutes, a man and 2 employees, I don't know if the manager was wearing a gray coat He kept looking at me but didn't take an order. Some of them spoke a language that I didn't understand either. Then the order was taken. I ordered a Big Mac menu and got a Big Tasty Bacon. Although there was no bacon, I never ordered a Big Tasty. Then the man discussed it with me and said yes, because I'm in a good mood today, they'll get another burger. It was a really strange thing. I won't come here again, even if I have to starve. It's not a great shop and the service is terrible no thanks no please no bon appetit. People look at you and there is a discussion about the fact that you were asked about your order etc. that was nothing. My burger was kept apart so that I couldn't even finish it. Saturday evening. Of course there's a lot going on there. Unfortunately, only 1 of the 4 ordering stations works (my order: 277. I have no problem being “recognized”). A nightmare on every level – never again! This McDonald's branch is truly the lowest point of my fast food experience so far. Let's start with the staff: unfriendly, demotivated and cold as the North Pole. A smile? None. It seemed like the staff didn't care whether you were there or not. Every question was answered with an annoyed sigh or a shrug of the shoulders, as if the guests were a burden. I thought I had done something wrong when I just wanted to order my food. Then to the food: a disaster. My burger was not only lukewarm, but almost cold. The fries? Soft and limp, like they were fried hours ago. It was as if extra effort had been made to make the food as unappetizing as possible. Not even the ketchup could save it. When I finally sat down, I noticed that the tables and chairs were sticky and dirty. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was food leftovers and stains everywhere that no one seemed to care about. It was so unsanitary that I almost wanted to leave my cold food - which in hindsight I would have done better.

An ordering kiosk was out of order. # There were no table signs when ordering, so there was a queue. Don't want table service? # A seating area was cordoned off with red and white tape. # This has to be deducted from the rating.

Definitely one of the better McDonalds branches.

A case for the health department! Everything is stuck, broken and the play area is closed. Unfortunately, the sanitary area is also disgusting and stinks. I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like, we've really lost our appetite.

Busy place long wait food tepid might be better when no event over road and hassled outside by beggars

This store hasn't improved for years, unfortunately one of the bad McDonald's stores I know. Probably because it still runs and has a good location. Chaos, waiting times in the drive-in and lack of cleanliness. Still, nice people work there. The toilet rooms stink, paper dispensers are empty, used paper is scattered on the floor next to the full wastebasket. What a negative advertisement for this brand.

The hygiene in this store is just bad and disgusting. You order extra without meat and what happens, I find BACON on it!!! As a non-meat eater, that's not possible!!

I did it again. I ate a cheeseburger at McDonald's and remembered that the parts just tasted soggy. And this is constant and always has been. A taste consistency of horror, so to speak. Hopefully I'll finally learn from this and not make the same mistake every year. Especially since you can eat super tasty burgers elsewhere.

Would the ambience actually be less, as the tables were really dirty on my last visit. I didn't always think the food was that good. Unfortunately, on our last visit, my husband got food poisoning from the chicken burger. I'm sure the products are always fresh, but I think the problem lies with the preparation by the employees.

Unfortunately, my last visit to McDonald’s was very disappointing. We stood at the McCafé for a really long time, but no employee came to serve us. In between, an employee came to get Coke, but instead of helping us, she disappeared again without a word. Finally someone came to make a coffee, this employee also left without saying a word. A short explanation or apology for the long wait would have been the least. The service was simply subpar - very disappointing!

I would like to give these 5 stars to today's shift manager (Sunday September 29th, 2024). She was super friendly and accommodating. My order was missing a menu, unfortunately I only noticed this when I got home. I complained about this a week later with no problems.

As a guest, I ask myself why the store doesn't close completely. What I experience there is simply not normal. Yesterday at 11 p.m. Mc Drive open, I stand in front of the intercom for 10 minutes and no one answers. Drive up and see the employees at the table Unfortunately, there was no use of a cell phone instead of serving the guest.

Been there several times and the opening times are an absolute joke. Without notice, they often simply close at 11:00 p.m. or 11:30 p.m. and you're left with a locked door. Edit here again the case where it was closed at 11:30 p.m., even though according to Google it should be open until 1 New edit. I'm there at 8:13 p.m. and the branch is closed, so EVERYONE has to order at McDrive.

I have been to this branch twice in the last 3-4 months. It was always very crowded and instead of McDrive I went to the branch because I thought it would be quicker there. It also happened relatively quickly. Unfortunately, despite the sign, you couldn't place an order at the counter and I had to wait in line for the order terminal. As mentioned, the order was processed fairly quickly despite the rush. On Sunday around 8 p.m. there were still many employees there. However, the quality and method of preparation is very poor. At McDonalds we know that the picture on the menu has very little in common with the product. But in this branch it's a few levels worse. Firstly, both burgers were only lukewarm and poorly wrapped. Secondly, they looked very careless and hastily thrown together. They looked like an elephant had sat on them. The covering was applied very sparingly. For the comparison, I uploaded the fantasy pictures of the coupon used (unfortunately Google doesn't allow the picture, so only my pictures). Next to that you see the sad reality. The only additional plus point is the relative cleanliness, despite the request. But other branches do a little better with the food.

Unfortunately I have to change my review from 5 to 2 stars. The branch has really been slacking off for a while now. You can already see it in the previous reviews. What's just not possible is that you're open until 3 a.m., you pre-order in the app at 2:10 a.m. (not a small order - it was for 7 people) and you're in front of closed doors at 2:40 a.m., even in McDrive, stands. The detour could have been avoided completely. It got really ridiculous when the employee in the restaurant hid when he saw us in McDrive. 🤦🏽

Absolute madness!!!!! After waiting 40 minutes for our takeaway order today, it disappeared from the screen. We tried to talk to an employee about where our order was, but he only replied that we were working. After urging from the cashier, we finally received our money 10 minutes later after cheeky, outrageous answers (it wasn't just us, some customers were affected). We won't be there anymore, but the service is underground.

Unfortunately, I have to say that the McDonald's in Kalbach is one of the worst I have ever visited. The ice cream maker? Of course it was broken. As always. No surprise considering the terrible reviews this store has already garnered. A disaster from start to finish. But the real highlight was when I stopped by just before closing time. The employees had already hidden in the dark 20 minutes before closing time! No lights, no service - apparently they just wanted to escape after work instead of doing their job. Simply incredible! If I could, I would give zero stars. A shop to forget!
