Big disappointment never again, shame I'm done for forever

The only thing you get here is a comedy show. Four people are looking at the order slip at once, and no one seems to understand what's on it. There seems to be complete confusion about what dishes are even offered. The result is that you wait forever and receive an incorrectly prepared order. The food tastes okay, but the portions are small. The chicken in the burger is only half the size of the burger itself. Never seen such a bad KFC.

Edit: Had offer on Uber eats(buy one get one). 1 portion(3 wings) for 5€ + 1 portion free. Ordered 4 portions(12 pieces)+ 4 free portion(12 pieces) for 20€. Which gave me 4 free portion. In total it will be 8 portion and 24 pieces. It got delivered instead of 24 pieces I got 22. I know it’s a first world problem. But still stealing 2 pieces ain’t correct neither.

The quality of the crispy fries was the worst I've ever had at a KFC. The sauces were expired. Not recommended!

I was truly disappointed with my visit to KFC. It's simply unacceptable that you have to wait 30 minutes for your order at a fast-food restaurant. That has nothing to do with fast service. When I tried to cancel because the order hadn't even started yet, I was refused. Why you should pay for something that wasn't even prepared is completely beyond me. What also bothered me: In other branches, you can buy individual burger buns for €1, for example – that wasn't possible here. When I asked, I was treated unfriendly. The staff seemed disinterested, overwhelmed, and barely spoke German. I felt like they just wanted to get rid of me quickly. When I finally got the food, I have to admit: It actually tasted okay. But after that long wait and all the discussion, I was so annoyed that I lost my appetite. The food no longer held any value for me. Such experiences demonstrate that a lot is going wrong at this branch—especially in terms of customer service and organization. For me, this was definitely my last visit.

The food was cold, but it took forever to prepare my meal. The place was extremely dirty, with pigeons flying around. Beggars come to your table and won't leave you alone. I paid almost €50 for an order for three people. Bottom line: it was my first time there, and I definitely won't be back. This was by far the worst KFC in Germany. (Minus 5 stars)

The food was only lukewarm, the service was uninterested, and the chicken pieces were getting smaller and smaller. The back pieces were halved; I wouldn't be surprised if the other pieces were halved as well, but the main thing is sales. It's cleaner on the platform than in this shop. That was it. I'd rather make it myself; it tastes better then.

I had a great experience at KFC Hauptwache! The food was delicious, served fresh and hot just the way I like it. The staff were incredibly pleasant and professional — their friendly attitude really added to the experience. This location has become one of my go-to KFC spots for sure. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, it took over 25 minutes to process my order (for three items). I certainly don't imagine disorganized and slow service when I think of fast food or chain restaurants. But that was the impression I got while I waited. And finally, I had to point out that a sauce I'd ordered was missing. I wonder if that's what Colonel H. Sanders had in mind?

I had an incredibly bad experience at your KFC branch in Hauptwache, Frankfurt. The service was completely unorganized, slow, and careless. The menu was limited and poorly presented, and the overall atmosphere was chaotic and frustrating. What made the experience even worse was the disgraceful attitude of the manager. They were rude, dismissive, and treated customers with zero respect. It is unacceptable for a global brand like KFC to tolerate such behavior from its staff. This branch urgently needs proper oversight and management correction.

Visit on Friday, July 4, 2025, approximately 6:20 p.m. (I mention the exact time because the employees involved refused to give me their names – apparently for good reason.) I simply wanted to redeem a promotional code for three (!) free hot wings, which were offered as a reward for completing a survey. A simple process – you'd think. However, the KFC app displayed an error message every time I tried, both via PayPal and credit card (apparently a server-side issue – screenshot attached). So I went to the checkout with the voucher code and screenshot. But neither the seemingly unmotivated employee nor the store manager felt able or willing to hand over the promised three hot wings – which I had honestly "earned" by providing my information. Instead of a simple solution, they just shrugged their shoulders. Any sense of service? None of that. We then went to Burger King. Everything went smoothly there – and we were treated kindly, too. It's remarkable that even that deserves a positive mention.

We ordered via Uber Eats. The delivery was half an hour late, so the food was cold. The fries were unsalted and soggy, and you had to hunt for lettuce and tomato on the burgers. The veggie tenders were the only good thing about the order. I won't be ordering from here again.

A terrible service from start to finish for what is supposed to be fast food. I was 1 of 2 groups. Part of the meal sat on the counter for around 12 minutes. The portion size was appalling for almost 30 euros. When part of the meal was served at 22minutes it was Luke warm. After 24 minutes I took it back. The server wouldn't even talk to me or acknowledged me. I took food back and requested refund. Even this was refused at first. The other party were still waiting over 20 minutes when I finally left. First and last time at that place

It’s really a disappointing experience. After having classes for a whole day I went to KFC and bought something to eat. While eating I felt very tired and then I fell asleep on the table for a while. Just now, a staff member knocked on my desk with a stick and woke me up and said that I couldn’t sleep with a rude attitude. I'm just tired and want to sleep for a while. I didn't disturb anyone, but I was treated like this. I just want to say that KFC need to improve employment standards.

Please urgently change something about this store. Things cannot continue like this. It is simply impossible to eat here in peace. Beggars come to the table every minute and want something from your order. Not an isolated case but a permanent situation. Plus, rats run across the floor while you try to enjoy your food. The staff seems consistently demotivated. In this environment, that's somewhat understandable, but it still doesn't make the stay any more pleasant. Anyone who bears responsibility here should act urgently. Otherwise it is no longer a restaurant but a place that you consciously avoid.

I find it outrageous that the service staff here at Kfc Hauptwache are not in a position to find a solution or don't even know how they should behave towards customers. You order two Michshakes (€8.38) and the device doesn't work. Instead you get 2×bottles of ice tea. You want the money back, but an employee said they can't do it, they can only exchange it, but only drinks. It's not about the money, but I'm no longer surprised that this KFC only has bad reviews for the most part. You should really train your employees to deal with such situations and not have them be unfriendly and act as if they were right. Sorry to say that but you notice it when you're not an expert... Anyway, that was our last visit here...

The food is KFC, you can like it or not, but the staff is incompetence incarnate. Forgetting essential parts of the order several times, it doesn't matter whether you order the sugary version of a drink, you get the light version anyway (without asking, by the way) and even if you point out to the staff that you ordered a bottle of water (which is on the counter next to the bag), they try to sell you the Diet Pepsi. You can tell that the shop thrives on its location, otherwise it wouldn't be around for a long time - and I wouldn't be forced to order there every now and then. If you have the choice, go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, you cannot order food and pay directly at the checkout despite your knowledge of English. Even if you have fought your way through the sterile video wall to place your order, the prices suddenly go up when you stand at the checkout and compare the prices on the menu above the checkout. KFC used to be good, but unfortunately it was a long time ago. No more food there for me.

The fries were cold, soft and floury. The chicken in the Colonel Burger was so small that two could fit inside. The drink mixer probably didn't have any 7-Up syrup in it anymore because it was pure sparkling water. However, there must have been a lot of schwip schwapp syrup in it because it tasted like pure sugar and was so strong that it was no longer edible after half of it. Spent €30 for 2 people and over half the order was of hideous quality. Really a shame. If you want to fill up, go to the Pizza Hut next door. You should definitely not visit this KFC for chicken.

Haven't eaten there for years. Was in Frankfurt today at Hauptwache at the KFC. Looks the same as it did 15 years ago, except for the ordering machines. My order was forgotten. The order slip sat there unnoticed the whole time. The delicious, familiar KFC crust was barely present on the chicken pieces and had zero taste. The chicken itself wasn't exactly of good quality either. Overall, in my opinion, everything tasted bad and for a hefty price. That was it again for the next many years at KFC, no matter where.

Considering that the place is underground, the atmosphere is okay. However, the toilets receive little to no cleaning. Everything is brown and broken. 90% of the doors couldn't be locked. The food wasn't too great, but it was tasty.

Was hard to find this place. Had to ask police officers who luckily understood English, as I’m here on a vacation from Italy. Food: chicken bucket is pure oil. Bucket and fries are 25€. Fries were salted for 1/5 intensity. Ps. You can always ask for salt. Atmosphere: place shares the room with Pizza Hut. You can come here with friends who love pizza 🍕. There were gypsies walking around and a drunk person, who eventually went to a woman’s bathroom. Not a pleasant experience to witness. Service: ready chicken wings, legs are waiting for customer’s orders in a warm fridge, and they look like they are from regular kebab place. Waiting time for my order: 3 min.
