Simply catastrophic. Waiting time extremely long. Ordered these new fries, only got normal ones. Coke was half spilled when I threw it up. It was wiped off and then given to me with the words “it happens.” Half a cola less. Instead of takeaway as ordered, it was given to me on tablets. When I asked, I was annoyed and given a bag and told that the employee had done it wrong and in my opinion that was the worst thing. Instead of vegetarian nuggets, normal ones were given. Something like that simply shouldn't happen. Unfortunately I only noticed it when I got home, I've never seen such bad service.

The hamburgers looked like they had been under the heat lamp for 2 days... absolutely disgusting and not the first time.

It's just terrible, I've never seen anything like it. I ordered two McFlurries and a milkshake, a milkshake and a McFlurry, using McDonald's points rewards program. I go to the counter to pick up the order and show the receipt, the girl on the phone asks to show the application, to which she says I didn't pay anything and just tears up the receipt and throws it away. In the end they only give me one of my poppies, but I just can't prove that the penalty on the check includes another one and a milkshake because it's torn. No one could explain to me where my 1000 point money went and why my check was torn. Terrible attitude towards customers, the manager ended up just running away.

I would say your time is over… ultimately leave room for small businesses that definitely have something fresh to offer!

Rarely have I experienced such a bad McDonalds. The tables were dirty, the floor probably hadn't been mopped in days. When you ask for coffee cream with your coffee, a bunch of the small plastic cups are carelessly thrown onto your tray. Really a disaster. The furniture was also pretty shabby and some of the sockets on the tables were broken. I also found it quite dark, as if only half of the lights were on, I thought they were closed from outside. So I really won't go there again!

Terribly slow service. You work in a relaxed manner and are in no hurry. It's a shame that their salary is not based on performance but on the hours worked. They hire slow turtles who don't want to work hard. It's also disgusting that the monkeys touch the food without gloves.

Average McDonalds experience. Every second order is incorrect. The sanitary facilities are well maintained. So if you don't urgently need the full service, you can take a look around on the other side of the main entrance.

Today's visit was very disappointing, the only bright spot was the quick delivery of the food, but it was only lukewarm. What really annoyed us was that when we reached the order terminal someone immediately “asked” us for €2, and then a second person asked us when we paid at the checkout. There wasn't much going on and there were 4-5 service employees standing there without saying anything. You feel really uncomfortable. Train station district or not, but at least the shops should remain a safe haven.

Soooo! I was just a guest at your place and was so disappointed despite the free Cola Zero. The planted 🪴 nuggets were not from factory farming BUT were extremely floury, dry but not crispy. I hope it will be better on the next visit.

I can only give an 1+ with * :) I'm there max. once a week. for a cappuccino here in the morning and after a short time the store manager knew how I like the coffee and I always get an extra. I think it's important to say a huge THANK YOU! The approach here is always great - which is certainly not easy in a branch like this at the main station! Thank you for brightening my day and for being so clear and consistent and making it clear to people what works and what doesn't.

So...what can I say? The ambience is actually good, but since the McDonald's is located at a main train station, not so good. The service is actually always good and nice, but sometimes something was forgotten and done wrong. The food always tastes good and is always fresh, but some orders, e.g. A Cheeseburger or Big Mac, take a long time, like 10 minutes. But if you're in the mood for Mecces or have a short stay at the main train station, you can stop by here.

Was only there spontaneously because my train came 40 minutes later because some children had to play with chalk on the tracks. No matter As expected, it was really full and the meal took 15 minutes. The food was a disaster, there was a large piece of paper in the food. At the checkout we were told that they had already eaten almost everything. What this meant was that this paper didn't appear until almost halfway through the meal. The tables look like a helicopter flew there. Occasionally people are sleeping there and aren't eating anything. I think the health department doesn't inspect McDonald's properly. There are no guest toilets either. This is probably due to the environment.

The cleanliness of the restaurant could be better (it looks okay in the back of the kitchen), and it's a matter of luck whether you get friendly service, the staff is sometimes very unfriendly. I ordered 2 McFlurry via Lieferando. A cheesecake and burger were also added because of the minimum order value. Only burgers and cheesecake were delivered, but ice cream + 5.99 delivery fees and a 99 cent service fee were charged. Thanks for nothing. Most expensive cheesecake and burger of my life for €26. Am thrilled. Never again!

Things are getting worse at the moment. Staff: Almost all employees seem completely annoyed and are unfriendly when contacted. There are only a few friendly exceptions. I've been yelled at several times by a certain employee here. Hygiene/cleanliness and restaurant: The McDonald's is located directly at the main train station. You are constantly being aggressively begged by homeless people in front of and in the restaurant. McDonald's rarely does anything about this. Overall, the restaurant seems a bit dirty, but this is not only due to the staff, but also to the high number of customers. The terminals are slow and often have small defects (e.g. receipt paper empty, cat payments not possible). However, the terminals will only be repaired upon request. Toilet situation: There is no toilet anymore. Not for years. I can certainly understand the motives here. The old toilet was constantly dirty and could hardly be kept clean. Yes, you have fewer than 200 seats and don't have to offer toilets, but the simple reference to the 1 euro station toilet for paying customers is an outrage! Why isn't a code solution for a toilet used here?! If there is no toilet solution, at least a sink is important! There must be a way to wash your hands properly before eating!!! No disinfectant spray, just water and soap. An absolute disgrace for families with children. Food & Waiting Time: The quality of the burgers is okay. However, the burgers are becoming more and more thrown together. I now take a fork and knife with me because the packaging is just a mess. The waiting times are extremely high, regardless of the number of customers. In the morning you wait a long time for breakfast when the restaurant is empty. There is always a long wait during the day, regardless of whether it is full or empty. You should plan at least 10 minutes. In the last few weeks I regularly wait 20 to 30 minutes. Catastrophe! When I go to a fast food restaurant it's because it has to be quick. That's what the name says! I simply entered the nearest branch in the McDonalds app, which I used for the first time. After an angry woman told me that she had been waiting almost an hour for the Happy Meal she had ordered and several customers confirmed this, I had the money returned. Stayed for almost 20 minutes with no result. And I already thought the service in the branch on Schleefstr. in Dortmund would be bad😅😅 (frequent breakdowns of the ice cream and milkshake machine). BUT, this should be mentioned: Despite being visibly overwhelmed, NOT A SINGLE employee was unfriendly and the branch manager was actually very friendly! Unfortunately it's no use if you're hungry😅😋

bad food, bad service and NO Toilet

I'm a Dortmunder and a local patriot, but this McDonald's is an imposition, an absolute disgrace. The touchscreens on the ordering machines are smudged and only work after several attempts. The printout is barely legible. The staff seems extremely bored and indifferent. The burger was a small, loveless slap together. The place was just dirty. The floor, the tables and the seating. For me, this store is a case for the public order office.

Staff so incredibly disrespectful. Staff member went over to a table of two homeless people and started smacking the table aggressively and shouting at them to leave. Completely understandable to ask someone to leave if necessary but do it in a kind and respectful manner. No one should ever be spoken to or treated like that. You are NOT above someone just because they are homeless. They then called the police on one of the homeless men who actually had bought food and was minding his own business.

After work today, I discovered a delivered order in the hallway. This was on the windowsill in the hallway. The order included a drink and several burgers. Since it was still "warm" and the situation seemed inexplicable anyway, I called the branch just to ask. Theoretically speaking, I couldn't care less. But since I'm cool with my neighbors and could have saved you some trouble, I thought a phone call wouldn't hurt. At least that's what I thought until now. An absolutely hysterical lady answered this call. It was exactly 5:09 p.m., in case you were interested. Anyway, I then had this absolutely hysterical lady on the phone. I understand that I shouldn't expect much from a "McDonald's employee" and I automatically lower my expectations a little when it comes to service. But employees who are cognitively able to articulate themselves and, if necessary, answer open questions should also answer the telephone. But let's get to the hysterical lady who gave me about 5 seconds to describe my situation and then interrupted me with "I have no idea, the branch manager isn't there right now, call me again tomorrow" - literally shouted through the phone. When I tried to answer it, the phone had already hung up. One callback was pushed aside and another never went through. Apparently the phone was switched to "busy". I have to be honest, I've experienced a lot. But something like that? I am absolutely appalled by this employee's behavior. I don't need a store manager to correctly deliver your order, which certainly shouldn't be delivered to the plant on the windowsill in the hallway. A short response might have been enough. I also have to honestly admit that the employees at this branch, at least if they are as well trained as the ones I met, should rather not answer the phone if they treat other people like that because of the stress caused by fast food burgers . I share something like this very rarely. But I sincerely hope that the lady reads this herself and please doesn't pick up this phone again. The competence also seems to have ended at "Welcome to Mcdonalds, your order please". If this is at all sufficient, it may only work if the branch manager is in the house. Incomprehensible.

Because of a broken machine, I couldn't complete my order, which is why a coupon was redeemed without me getting anything in return. When I raised the issue at the checkout, the machine restarted and then continued to not work. Of course there was no sign posted for other customers...

I guess we were lucky, but for the fact that it is in such a busy place as the station, there were a minimum of people and the food was served very quickly.

Problems at the McDonald's at the Dortmund Hauptbahnhof: Beleidigung and a I don't care attitude. Hello Axel, I was at the McDonald's at the Dortmund Bahnhof on the 10th of February, not only did it take over 28 min. for my order, but when I asked why it took so long and went to the Theke, the guy told me to bugger off". I asked him if he knew who I was, he said to me "he doesn't care". So, I backed up and looked up the phone number to the McDonald's at the Hauptbahn so I could try and solve it by calling the Manager and he said, "es ist mir egal, geh zu den Theke und fragen." Then he hung up. Customer service is was terrible, fast food has become slow food, in America 5 min. or less. Additionally, they didn't give me my Orange juice. Order # 263 total 19.25 on the 10th of February, 2024.

Simply bold. They delivered food to us at work (3 minutes away by bike) they forgot my nuggets. When I called there they just said "yes, I'm sorry but I can't change it, you have to contact Lieferando, it's not possible to deliver again" so I just do it again ordered with the note that I had already ordered and they were forgotten. Not even a Coke or the nuggets from before as compensation!!! So customer service is written in small letters here, but very small. Something is always forgotten or mixed up, even with the simplest order! Just sad

I got a half-melted mcflurry and after 10 minutes of discussion with the manager about how that was right, I got a second, new, half-melted mcflurry. They also play “I’l be single soon” on Valentine’s Day. People who paid via cell phone were also thrown out.
