Something was missing again. Unfortunately, another burger was missing – an absolute outrage at these prices. The burgers were almost cold.

You should always check MC Drive to make sure all the items are there. Entire burgers have been forgotten on occasion.

The service at the McDrive was disappointing. I ordered the sweet chili sauce, but got sour cream instead. I also wanted a Coke, but got a tea. It would be nice if the staff were a bit more attentive when ordering—at a McDrive, you can only notice the mistake later.

Here you order online, the delivery is confirmed, then you wait an hour and the nice employees then cancel the order because they don't feel like it

Best Mecces I know. Even the nuggets taste so incredibly fresh there, like nowhere else! You can't even taste the "used" fat. The food has NEVER been cold, and there's NEVER been anything missing. Top-notch for Mecces! The staff have always been friendly, too. I'm satisfied!

When we were there, the tables weren't clean, and there were fries and napkins on the floor. The service was okay. The food was okay, too.

In a takeout order for three people (wrap, 2 Happy Meals, 2 burgers), a Happy Meal was forgotten (checked on-site). The Happy Meal was subsequently delivered upon complaint. Then, on the way, I noticed that the cutlery for the salad, dressing, and all the sauces (5 pieces) were missing. Thanks for the dry salad (at least I could eat it with my hands), the dry fries, and the chicken nuggets 🥴

Just a below-average McDonald's. I expect friendliness from fast food restaurants, too. Unfortunately, this place is far from that.

I can't recommend it. I got something to eat because I was hungry, so I got a Mango McWrap. What's being served to me? A McWrap with mayo and mustard. I can't recommend it. I'll definitely complain in Munich.

We were here Friday night. Branch B1. McDrive. I think it was around 1 a.m. For the first time in a long, long time, McDonald's (our branch is in Bergkamen or Kamen) had HOT + CRISPY fries! Awesome! And I'd also like to mention the really nice service employee who took our order and cashed it. Super friendly. Top-notch. 👍🏼😍

The burgers were cold, the lid on the coffee wasn't closed, so I scalded myself. No napkins were provided, and they just put the wrong size drink in.

Our drinks (bottles of water) were warm, and the food was almost completely cold, apparently because it had been sitting out too long. Our requested table service wasn't fulfilled... strangely, only for us, because others were brought their orders before and after ours. The restaurant wasn't full... but at least we received new fries and ice cubes for our drinks.

The food was okay but the floor was sticky as if it hadn't been cleaned in a week.

Everything was fine, the service was a little overwhelmed.

I am absolutely appalled by the disastrous experience I had at the McDonald's restaurant in Dortmund! On June 26, 2025, I placed an order from Paderborn using the McDonald's app and paid with Apple Pay. I shared the order number and the order summary with my family. When they arrived at the restaurant, the order was not found. Instead, they were called fraudsters and treated with disrespect – this is simply unacceptable! The employees not only behaved unprofessionally, but also brazenly and insultingly. They had the nerve to threaten to call the police while humiliating my brother, who is severely disabled! This should not happen at a reputable company like McDonald's! I demand immediate consequences for this inexcusable behavior! I will do everything in my power to discourage others from using this disastrous restaurant and will never eat there again. I hope this complaint is taken seriously, because the behavior of your employees is disgraceful!

Disappointing and Discriminatory Experience at McDonald's Dortmund My recent visit to McDonald's in Dortmund was incredibly frustrating and left me feeling disrespected and discriminated against. What should have been a simple breakfast order turned into a nightmare due to the unprofessional conduct of an employee. My sister and I used the McDonald's app, as we always do, to place our order and successfully processed the payment. We received the confirmation and PIN code, ready to pick up our food. Upon presenting the PIN to the first employee, an older woman who was initially very pleasant, she encountered an issue with the system not recognizing our order. This is when a male employee, who appeared to be in his 30s-40s with a beard and a strong accent (identifiable as Indian, as I am also Asian), intervened. He immediately became accusatory, claiming our payment was "expired" and that the code wasn't working. He then had the audacity to suggest I was trying to scam them by using a screenshot of the app! Despite my repeated assurances that the payment had gone through, he insisted we were in the wrong. The situation escalated quickly. My father and I, both present, were met with rudeness, misbehavior, and blatant disrespect. As someone with a mobility issue, this unnecessary confrontation was particularly distressing. The employee's aggression culminated in him threatening to call the police over an €18.66 order! This is absolutely outrageous and unacceptable. To make matters worse, his German was difficult to understand. When he offered to switch to English, I readily agreed, hoping for clearer communication. However, he then insultingly retorted, "That's why you don't understand a word I am saying." This comment was completely uncalled for and solidified my belief that his behavior was not only unprofessional but also discriminatory. McDonald's, you need to seriously re-evaluate your hiring practices and employee training. No customer should ever be treated with such contempt, accused of scamming, or subjected to discriminatory remarks. This employee's conduct was a direct reflection on your brand, and it was appalling. I am requesting a full refund for my order. This experience was truly unprofessional for a company of McDonald's stature. I urge anyone reading this to be aware of the potential for such disrespectful treatment at this location.

After I tried to pay, an employee laughed at me. He said he had to work. He then refused to take my order because he was making fun of me. June 9, 2025, 3:30 a.m. I find this behavior more than discriminatory; I'm not used to this kind of behavior from McDonald's. Went there again after a long absence—as always, the ice machine was broken. Burgers were cold, the Coke was still carbonated and there were no ice cubes.

Never, literally never, have I received my complete order here! Something is always missing, either fries or other side dishes. Today we only ordered a Happy Meal and curly fries. The kid was impatient, so we took the bag and left quickly. Surprise, the curly fries were nowhere to be found... It's not my job to check orders, so I will avoid this place in the future.

I ordered an MC Smart Meal at the machines I hate to use. Only a woman with a child was waiting in front of me for her order. I got my meal after about five minutes. The fries were good. But the double cheeseburger was the worst I've had in years. It was only lukewarm, dry, and stuck between my teeth. Unfortunately, I couldn't exchange it because I'd already driven onto the B1. And I've experienced exactly the same thing there before. Luckily, I was able to complain at the time. What a shame. I had to drink all the Coke to get the burger down.

How can it be that when you visit a fast-food chain in Germany/Dortmund and try to order, the service staff tells you that due to time slots where only certain dishes are available, you can't order the food you'd like yourself? Definitely not here again, not for self-determined people, not for people who are increasingly guided by AI and who are no longer even aware of the increasing external control. Definitely NEVER EVER for me here... And therefore, ideally, no star at all.

Last night, a junior bag was missing both fries and cheeseburgers and a pack of 20 veggie nuggets had chicken nuggets instead of vegetarian in the packaging that was declared vegetarian. I just went there again and the shift manager also immediately recognized that they were “real nuggets”, apologized very nicely and also delivered the missing cheeseburger and fries. Nevertheless, it is really bad when meat is delivered to a vegetarian instead of the vegetarian version he ordered. Better take a closer look...

Was there in McDrive 20 minutes ago. Specially asked if toys were available. They said it was available, I said it didn't matter which one for my child in the car. Arrived home, child opens Happy Meal and no present.. very unfortunate. A Happy Meal used to be especially for children. Now there are cold fries. A burger and a Capri Sun for 5.99 🫣 My son is very sad and crying.

I recently visited this McDonald's branch, and unfortunately, my visit was disappointing. I ordered a Coke, but it was given to me without a lid and without a straw. When I asked for a straw, the employee told me they were "only for milkshakes" – even though there were clearly around 50 straws available. I honestly found that quite incomprehensible. The food was also disappointing. The meat of my burger was very dry, and I got heartburn that evening – something I never get. For me, that was a clear sign that the quality was not up to scratch. The restrooms were also very dirty, which only reinforced the overall negative impression. In comparison, at Burger King – even in a small town – I could choose whether I wanted ice in my Coke or not. There, the restroom was clean, the food was significantly better, and I had no complaints afterward. All in all, for me, this was one of the worst McDonald's visits. I hope something will be improved here soon.

McDonald's was heavily visited. Food is OK, apple turnovers don't always have a sticker on them, they taste fresh sometimes stale. Food is now more expensive and portions are small. The location here is very busy and at lunchtime there is a waiting time and possibly no place to sit. The parking lot is large and well located.

I was served a Mccrispy that was raw. After asking the staff, I was told this was normal. Actually I've only had good experiences with the store so far.

Wanted to visit the car museum next door. We drove a long way and it was still a little over an hour before it opened. I was hungry and urgently needed to empty my bladder. We couldn't find the entrance straight away. It is not clear which side the entrance is on. the toilets were not clean. The doors were terrible, looked very unhygienic. It went quickly until we had our food. The food was pretty good. The employees were nice. I think it's very cool that it has a playground, it's not often that a McDonald's has a playground these days. great for families.

You should always check McDrive orders immediately before you set off. It doesn't matter if it's full. The McDrive gets a straight 6 as a grade. This is now the third time in a row that something is missing from an order. Of course you're already gone by car and have to turn around again. I wanted to treat my children to some ice cream at McDonalds after a tiring day, but unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed. There was only ice cream available and not even the right sauce. You often end up drunk at night at McDonald's or similar establishments. Actually not bearable when sober. Of course it's no different in this branch.

A McDonald's which also has an outdoor playground, as well as good parking both on site and in front of it. McCáfe & McDrive are also present. Service and ambience are significantly better compared to other McDonald's branches. There are (USB) sockets at the places. Today I was here exceptionally for breakfast. The breakfast offering has improved greatly over the years. 👍🏼 (But everything is better with app vouchers 😉)
