Very good, inexpensive food, great regional beer, attentive service.

Everything was okay, we all (6 people) had asparagus dishes. Unfortunately the asparagus was overcooked and far too soft.

Let’s start with the part we liked. The food is if great quality and excellent, especially for the moderate price. The view from the balcony over Dresden is simply stunning and well worth the drive. Now the bad part. The service is abhorrent. Waitresses are somehow snobbish and arrogant and I am not sure why we did to receive such poor service. We had to wait long times for simply getting drinks and when asking multiple times (after waiting more than 20 min) for it we didn’t receive any apologies or quicker service. I have a hard time recommending this otherwise really good restaurant just because we somehow felt being treated like third class citizens.

This place combines good food with a wonderful ambience and a journey through time. We had made a reservation for dinner for 5 people in the castle tower on April 19, 2025 and sat indoors. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service is friendly and accommodating. The order could be placed quickly. There is a large selection of drinks, the home-brewed beer is particularly recommended. I can only praise and recommend the “ProBierchen” idea - here you can test and enjoy 4 types of beer in small quantities. Whatever tastes best can even be bought in bottles and taken home with you. The outdoor area impresses with a beautiful beer garden and a great view over the town of Auerbach. If that's not enough, you can also climb the historic final tower and learn something about Auerbach's history. The food came after a reasonable wait and was very tasty. The landlord is very friendly and personally checks that everything is going well. We felt very welcome. Thank you for this nice experience. We'd love to come back.

Home-style cooking with delicious, inexpensive dishes and fast and friendly service. The ambience still had a bit of an Eastern feel to it, but that was probably intentional. The toilets are newly renovated and ultra-modern. After our family trip we were thrilled with this restaurant. We will come back when we are nearby.

Located in the middle of Leipzig. A very good inn. Good food and very good service. Price - performance very well coordinated. Feel-good atmosphere. Gladly again

We were a family of 12 people. There for Easter Sunday and the unimaginable happened! Without exception, EVERYONE was super super happy with their food because it was so DELICIOUS. We will definitely come back because the menu had many other delicacies. The staff were also really pleasantly friendly, as was the atmosphere outside in the beer garden. See you soon...

We haven't eaten so well and felt so comfortable in a long time. We were there on Friday evening and the Kellerklause was very cozy. Small but nice menu. Gladly again

We were a big party, the service was friendly and good humored. Food was delicious.

We were invited to Sunday brunch... and what can I say. It was more of a lunch or lunch buffet, but not brunch. It had absolutely nothing to do with that. Then there was no fresh fruit or salads. So the freshness percentage was zero. As I said, there were only typical lunch dishes that tasted ok but weren't WOW. There was no bacon, scrambled eggs, bread, etc. The dessert looked like it was in the school cafeteria. 3 large bowls...1 chocolate pudding, 1 grits, 1 vanilla sauce and small ice cream in plastic packaging. I was really disappointed and will not be booking brunch for my celebrations. My sister, who was the hostess, was also visibly disappointed. Please dear Humbi, invite you to the lunch buffet, but not to brunch. There would only be 1 star for the "BRUNCH" because it wasn't one.

I celebrated my confirmation here and was very satisfied with the service and food.

There were four of us, the food was very tasty and the hospitality was also great. Can only recommend it.
