We celebrated our son's 40th birthday here yesterday. When I first ordered everything was great. When the drinks came and out of nowhere the bottom of a full glass was just so much and one of our guests was completely soaked. The waiter just said "We've had that before" - no apology or can I help you. And that wasn't the waiter's only mistake. Just a shame.

Beautiful and modern restaurant that offers both Eastern cuisine and modern cuisine. Culinary art at a very high level. The ambience is modern, the view is a sensation. The Luisenhof is also currently taking part in the cooking star hours - modern dishes as a 3 or 4-course menu. If you want to go on the weekend, a reservation in advance is recommended.

Fantastic location, go there for a drink or something sweet. The food itself was uninspired. The biggest issue though was the vegan option, which is filled with "meat-replacement" products without it being mentioned or visible on the menu. When we sent half of the dish back we got no offer for compensation, no discount and not even an excuse, which is below any restaurant standard, especially considering the relatively high prices for Dresden.

We were there for the first time and were super satisfied. The view of Dresden and especially “The Blue Wonder” is fantastic. Great atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service, the food was very tasty - everything was great and definitely highly recommended!

Historic location, with a beautiful view of the city! There isn't much option of what to do there, other than walk around the neighborhood and see the views of the houses and city. But if you're in Dresden, it's a good trip for an afternoon!

We don't know what the dishes taste like because we didn't manage to order anything. The menu is only available in German, and when asked about the English version, the waiter asked me to scan the code from the first page of the German menu... Maybe the solution is ok, but unfortunately the English electronic version is different from the German version. It's a bit embarrassing that the restaurant described in guidebooks does not have a menu in such a common language as English.....

Highly recommended. It's best to take the funicular up and then enjoy the view. A reservation is not mandatory but definitely recommended!

Only I asked for small glass to the waitress and I continiue waiting. But there were a lot of people. i am only spent 18.60€ in drinks. In any case, the palce is a very good place. I not eaten but the dishes served in other tables looked very very good. The sunset was incredible.

Unfortunately, it's no longer what it was two years ago. Coffee poor, cake average at best. Staff inattentive. Too bad Another visit, or even a try. Staff was quick and friendly today. The Aperol Spritz was more of a soft drink than a cocktail. A lot of mineral water with little sparkling wine and even less Aperol at a price of 8.50 a glass? Oh no, that was our last visit to the Luisenhof

Just had something to drink. Next time we'll stay longer to eat. Staff make a solid impression.

Unfriendly and slow service with the worst tartare I've ever been served!! The service was of zero interest in the complaint! Never again!!!

Unfortunately the soup was lukewarm and the tartare was of poor quality. No response of any kind from the service. Absolute no go. Take a deep breath, we're never coming back.

No, the prices are not cheap. Not a bit. But: you understand exactly what you are paying them for. The service: Extremely good. and that too, should there be a problem. The food: a dream. The chicken liver was actually medium rare, the sauce was incredibly delicious, and the coarse mashed potatoes were a poem. The beef tartare (Wednesdays only) exceeded all expectations. Seasoned meat? A poem. The view over Dresden from the terrace is beautiful. The journey by funicular from Körnerplatz is an experience (like Körnerplatz itself). The Luisenhof is elegant, modern, rather minimalist. I would also give 6 stars if that were possible.

We would have liked to have ordered something to drink when it was over 30°, but we probably weren't dressed smart enough for the snooty employees... but dear employees of the Luisenhof: never let appearances fool you... bad luck. We were very hungry and thirsty. And because I worked in the restaurant for a long time myself, I like to give good tips. Stupid mistake...

The most magnificent view from the terrace over Dresden. Fine food and a fantastic ambience. The staff tries very hard, but not really friendly.

We were here for dinner on May 1st, 2024 in the most wonderful sunshine. The food was very tasty! The service was very friendly. We had a wonderful view of Dresden and the Elbe. Coincidentally it was on May 1st. the naval parade, which we were also able to watch. Finding a parking space in front of the restaurant was a little difficult, but we found it and we'll be happy to come back.

We reserved a table on the terrace 4 weeks in advance. According to the email confirmation, the table was also confirmed to us. When we arrived, the colleague directed us to an indoor table. Unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations as it was a birthday party. If you cannot reserve tables on the terrace, please state this accordingly in the email. The food was very good, but unfortunately the service seemed a bit ignorant. I would have liked to order another dessert, but after waiting 20 minutes and asking three times whether we could pay, a colleague came over after I asked her to come over from a chat among colleagues. Great view, unfortunately not enough is made of it.

We had reserved for our 70th birthday. Unfortunately it was not taken into account. On the dirty table the flowers had dried up. A pity. I also had better memories of the service and the food. Great ambience in an upscale style. In my opinion, the service can be expanded in parts. There were four of us and we ordered a large bottle of water with the wine and received a glass with it. We had to repeat the request for another glass three times. The glass was then brought to us by hand and not on a tray. Oh well

In any case, always worth a visit! Best ambience, great view over Dresden! The food is amazing and the service is polite and courteous! Only the parking situation is... exhausting. If you know, you can park a little outside. We come often and will continue to do so.

What can I say about the Luisenhof, it's simply a great excursion, gastronomy, a beautiful view over Dresden from the outside terrace, which is shaded by plane trees, it's just wonderful, the beer tastes good, the coffee is delicious, the food is also good I can only recommend it at the entrance area There are steps to the top but there is also the possibility 10 meters further for people with walking difficulties to take the elevator up. If you ring the doorbell the door opens then you are taken to the elevator and you then go up. And you arrive directly at the top of the restaurant. Look at the pictures, such a great view.

Went here again for our wedding anniversary, the table was decorated with roses. Everyone friendly and helpful. As always, the food was great for us.

I think service in a location like this is different: you didn't know what kind of cake there was, so we had to go and see for ourselves. We paid almost 30 euros for two pieces of kitchen and two drinks. However, the view is very beautiful. Of course you also pay for that, I realize.

Delicious food with a great view of Dresden

We were back in Dresden at the beginning of June, this city is always worth a trip. This time we went to the "Weißer Hirsch", had a wonderful meal at the Luisenhof and went for a walk in the Heide-Waldpark. Dresden is simply to fall in love with.

The food was not very satisfactory for both of us. Tongue was salty and the potatoes didn't have a very good taste. The staff was superficial and a little friendliness would have been nicer for us. Price performance was borderline...

I sent a reservation request in advance by email and received a confirmation the next day. On site we had the choice between the indoor area and the terrace. I chose the Luisenhof because of the menu and the view and was convinced. The view over the Elbe with Dresden in the background is worthwhile both inside and outside and the menu has something for every taste. It is very difficult to find a parking space. Alternatively, you can take the funicular from Loschwitz to the White Hirsch. The stop is directly opposite the restaurant. We would be happy to come back for the next special occasion.

The atmosphere in the Luisenhof is really, really nice. It all seems very chic, but not so sophisticated that you would feel uncomfortable in “normal” clothes. The view of the Elbe is definitely fantastic and if you want a window seat indoors, you should make your reservation at least 4 weeks in advance. But even from the other places you have a great view :-) The service was great and our waitress was relaxed and friendly :-) I actually would have expected more of a taste experience from modern cuisine. I found the carrot-mango soup to be very creamy and spicy and the main course and the goat cheese starter were very, very tasty, but for me they don't necessarily fall into the category of "exceptional" or "varied in taste" :-) But it's price-performance definitely ok!

The Luisenhof in Dresden offers a mixed experience. The iced cucumber soup and wine were delicious, and the view is truly breathtaking, even if that's not thanks to the cafe. While prices were well below average twelve years ago, they are now well above average. Unfortunately, the café itself has little charm of its own; it looks more like a collection of tables and chairs on a terrace.

With the most beautiful place to see Dresden from above. Wonderful view and very tasty menu. There are hardly any parking spaces, so it's worth checking out early. Unfortunately the terrace is only open until 10 p.m. Still a clear recommendation.

I've been there several times and always had the vegan mushroom goulash. Each time it tasted completely different, sometimes more, sometimes less good (which is partly due to the floury potatoes), probably depending on who cooked it. However, I expect consistent quality in a restaurant. In addition, the prices are very steep. However, the view of Dresden is better than the food.

Went here on a Monday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The previous telephone table reservation worked well. When we arrived everything was arranged. The service team took our order and the serving went quickly. The drinks (homemade lemonade) were delicious and the food was tasty too. Unfortunately we didn't have any good experiences with friendly service staff. It was not possible to change money when paying in cash. We waited half an hour for drinks such as a bottle of water. The food was good but unfortunately a bit overpriced for the price. Unfortunately I can't recommend it, even though it has a nice view.

The cakes looked very tasty, but we didn't get to enjoy them. The service was overwhelmed with a half-full terrace and an almost empty restaurant. After waiting 25 minutes to place the order. You'd better go then. There are other cafes that also want to serve their customers.

The food was not fresh. Peas with the pork were from a can. Service was unfriendly. The view was also not accessible as it was booked for a private event. The inevitable answer on google reviews from the owner is a pure pr show and does only deflect the blame to the customers. Do not go there unless you want to walk into a tourist trap.

We had a family celebration at the Louisenhof. The first disillusionment was the loud music from the dance evening in the next room. Unfortunately, the bass booms so much that it's unreasonable. Unfortunately, when we made the reservation by telephone, there was no information that there was a dance event taking place that same evening. The second disgrace was that the air conditioning was switched on. It's nice that the rooms are air-conditioned in the summer, but why do you turn the system so cold that people have to put on their jackets. Absolutely unnecessary. Eat: Greetings from the kitchen are meant kindly, but the spread (herb quark dip?) could be a little seasoned. Children's dish pasta with tomato sauce very bland and loveless. Beef tartare was nothing special either. Salt and pepper for the unseasoned meat were available upon request. Given the atmosphere, I would actually have expected it to be a real tartare (hand-cut with a sharp knife 😉). A classic marinade might have improved the bland tartare a little, but unfortunately that wasn't available either. Service was OK. Not unfriendly, but not exactly motivated either. All in all, unfortunately not worth another visit, especially not with the prices quoted. The quality should correspond to the price-performance ratio.

The ambience is very appealing and modern, and of course the view is unbeatable. When it comes to dishes, you can choose between classic German/regional and modern. The owners probably have very high standards, which are also reflected in the price, but not in the taste as well as the service (even though there wasn't that much going on, the waiter was often not available) and some little things (e.g. simple cheap paper napkins). can be kept completely. Nevertheless, overall we were satisfied.

I can recommend excellent homemade solyanka and there is nice service, as well as the best view of Dresden, the weather was perfect too, so I can highly recommend the Luisenhof Dresden!!!

Excellent food. We chose different dishes and were all thrilled. Perfect price-performance ratio. The “shop” was so full that we got food from the boss. We received a confident reception and seated us outside in wonderful weather despite our order.

It’s not without reason that it’s “the balcony of Dresden”. The view is really great and the terrace in front of the restaurant invites you to linger. The food is delicious - gladly again. I would recommend a reservation.

My wife and I went for brunch today, I can recommend it to every Dresden resident and guest of the city, the view of our city from the terrace was also excellent.

It's always nice to sit on the balcony in Dresden when the weather is perfect. The mango cake was absolutely delicious.

The view is great, the restaurant is modern and clean. Really nice atmosphere, especially the terrace is great. Unfortunately the food was partly overcooked, bland and tasteless. But we'd love to come back for some wine.

Terrific! Really good. This is always the case with “restaurants” these days. People often make extensive use of ready-made products to save time and money. If this is also done here, then only to a small extent. The food seemed really imaginative and was an experience. I find the prices to be high, but justified. In addition, we were a little worried about how friendly a restaurant like this would be with children. The concern was completely unfounded. There is a large playground outside and a play area inside. Both are a little secluded so that the children can let off steam without bothering other guests. The staff were also professionally friendly and everything went well, even though there were a lot of guests. The only thing to note is that parking is a bit difficult. But I wouldn't blame the restaurant for that.
