There was a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service.

My meal was vegetarian toast, goat cheese and tomatoes, broiled a bit. And a glass of nice red wine. My friend’s was meat, tough, overdone and dry. Not edible. They took it back and removed the cost. By then she was over it. Nice service, friendly and helpful. The food was 50/50.

I ended up here while searching for "Dead Grandma." Delicious food, a nice selection of home-brewed beers with seasonal specials. A pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. Highly recommended.

The concept is impressive across the board. Friendly service and down-to-earth food with a modern twist. The price/performance ratio is excellent. I love the changing monthly beers and the delicious sausage creations to go with them. The specials menu is also interesting. I was also very impressed by the rustic location and the opportunity to buy specialties like sausage and spiced meats to take home or as gifts. Anyone coming to Dresden and looking for regional food will find this a great place.

We had a delicious meal here. You should definitely check out the weekly specials. The cabbage roll they offer was super tasty and very reasonably priced. You can also order a sample of the various beers, which I really liked. They're all delicious.

The waiter was very attentive. The food was good, but you should know that when they bring the bill, they don't give you a receipt first. If you complain, you realize they've charged €8 for a dish. When you ask what it is, they say it's a kitchen tip, but that the waiter's tip isn't included. This is the custom at this place.

During our visit to Dresden, we found this restaurant for lunch. We have to say, we haven't had such delicious and good food in a long time. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable. The atmosphere is extremely friendly, and if you bring your dog, you'll immediately be provided with a bowl of water. We'll be happy to come back for dinner on our next visit.

Very nice local restaurant with a lot of types "wurst" . It was really big suprise for us - very nice suprise We tried special of the week -> mango- kari wurst with fries and it was fantastic, somebody can say , it is only sausage, but not ! It was full of taste , full of ingredients, mango taste bring the meal to another level ! Yummy Schnitzel with carrot and Edam was something what we try first time-> and for sure not last time ! Nice dish. Service was unbelievable, always taking care about us with almost full reastaurant. Watzke wurstküche is very good choice ! Try it . P.s. they have their local beer.

Looked up this place on Google Maps looking for German food, but as it was a hot day I ended up ordering their Chef Salad. And it is the best Chef Salad I have had so far! A tasty variety of greens, excellent ham and good cheese and the perfect dressing that made everything come together. Service was average regular, I ordered, got the food, ate and paid. Nobody checked if the food came out ok or stopped by to ask if I wanted anything else. This seems to be the norm here in Dresden .

Watzke speaks for itself. One of the best pilsners for traditional breweries. Sausages are also good, as is traditional German cuisine. I recommend sitting at the Golden Horseman too

We've eaten here several times and we've always enjoyed it and it tasted great. But on August 8, 2025, we were very disappointed with the way we were treated. The service was so bad. The waiter was inattentive and even rude. The food wasn't that tasty either. It was, of course, very busy, but that can't be right.

A wonderful place to sample traditional German/Austrian cuisine. The sausages are excellent, the schnitzels even better. I recommend the seasonal menu; I've been there several times and enjoyed it every time. If anyone's looking for a good traditional restaurant, this is the perfect place. The service is very friendly and professional – I took my cigarettes out of my pocket to transfer them to another (they hadn't even been on the table for a second), and the lady came over with an ashtray. Truly excellent, I recommend the owner raise the staff's salaries because they are truly excellent. I used to be a waiter myself, so I pay attention to such details.

A nice waiter advised me to go for baked pork with potatoes and it was a good choice. As we are Polish, and Polish cuisine is a hybrid of Slavic and German, we wanted to try something that we don't have back home. This pork dish turned out to be a large portion of Polish 'karkówka', overall really nicely done, not at all like in typical Polish bistro (for me communist-time Polish recipes are tasteless and don't really like them). Prices adequate to quality and portion. W'd recommend it.

The perfect place in Dresden to enjoy typical German sausages in their various preparations. And even better if you pair it with a good German beer. The prices are very reasonable for the portions. We finished with a delicious dessert crepe, also typical of Dresden, which I've attached in the photo. Price for two people: 45 euros, including dessert. Highly recommended.

Good selection of craft beers at reasonable prices and German soul food. Wurstküche meaning sausage kitchen, this branch specializes in homemade sausage dishes, but also has decent alternatives even vegetarian ones. Had a good time there and the staff was friendly, too. Definitely recommendable.

The beer you drink while sitting on the terrace is really the best! I went there because I wanted to eat sausage dishes and ordered currywurst and Munich Art. It's a good place to eat as a snack or as a light meal. It wasn't as salty as I thought and the soft sausage was delicious~~

The bread was partially black, but the full price was charged despite the warning. That's not really fair.

This has got to be my favourite place for sausages in Germany. We've tried the bratwurst (sooo good!) and the weisswurst. The bratwurst with cheese and spinach is the best!. The pretzels are very yummy and fresh too! Oops. Forgot to mention the good dunkel bier as well.

We had a meeting with colleagues, and it was lovely here. The waiter was a real gem. He seated over 20 people, was quick and friendly, and always had a fitting remark. The food was delicious and affordable.

the best German restaurant I could have asked for while stating in Dresden. So much so that I ended up eating here twice! The artisinal and traditional wurst were delicious! The pretzels are what I look for in a pretzel: soft but sturdy. They make their own beer in house and its quite tasty! The pork Knuckle is a collosal dish, that will leave you full and satisfied. The crispy skin on the outside, the juicy pork meat on the inside was delicious.

Here, you can not only get delicious beer but also homemade, sometimes exotic, sausage varieties. Everyone will definitely find something here, even those who don't eat meat. ️⭐️This restaurant has a racist server ⭐️ First of all, there were a lot of people when we went, so we waited for a while to look at the menu and order, but they didn't come to take our order for over 20-30 minutes, so even though we kept making eye contact with the dedicated server and making gestures that we wanted to order, he didn't come lol. He clearly knew we were there. The problem was that, except for our table, the front table (Westerners came within 5 minutes after we were seated) and the back table (they came 10 minutes after we were seated) all took their orders. They take all requests for tables. They do everything. At first, I thought it was very busy and I understood it, but later I felt like it was racism. I held on to it, and in the middle of the store, I told a person who looked like another waiter in the store that we had not been receiving our orders for several tens of minutes and asked him to take action. He said he understood and would pass it on, but the server did not come to us. In the end, as the server passed by, I said loudly that I wanted to order, but he said, "Can't you see I'm busy right now? I have too much to do." Like this hahahahahahahaha I don't know if the female server with the blonde ponytail and glasses is still working, but it seems like staff training is needed. I don't know because I've never tried the value of the food at this restaurant, but that server alone started my trip to Germany in a bad mood. This is a restaurant with racist servers, so don't go there~ Summary: This restaurant has a racist server. I don't recommend it. Staff needs to be trained.

A truly lovely spot with an incredible atmosphere! The food was absolutely delicious, and their house-brewed beer was simply perfect. I had the steak, while my husband tried the traditional sausages — both dishes were outstanding. Our waiter was exceptionally helpful and impressively knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Dresden and want to enjoy a true taste of the city!

I visited the Watzke Wurstküche restaurant for the first time after a colleague recommended it to me. Service: The service took my order quickly and brought the ordered dish quickly. Ambiance: In front of the restaurant there are rustic chairs and tables that do not offer any particular luxury, but still ensure a pleasant stay. Eat: When the waiter brought me the food, it looked very tasty on the plate and it really tasted wonderful. Conclusion: I would visit Watzke Wurstküche again at any time and recommend it without reservation.

It's easy to get overlooked on the terrace, but in the end, after ordering, we moved inside for a simple meal after what was actually an unacceptable waiting time. It was more pleasant and much quieter there than in the terrace area, where problematic clientele can disrupt the meal.
