We stayed here on the advice of a friend and have to say that 5 stars are not enough. When we arrived it looked more like a small village pub from the outside but the first glance is deceptive. Inside you find yourself in a really quaint old pub. We were then taken to the “beer garden” and were speechless. A nice big courtyard. Everything lovingly designed and lots of green. There is also a play area for the little ones. The staff was always present and very friendly. Now to the most important thing, the food. So the menu is half a book, lots of game [especially deer, which is probably because of the name] as well as classic German cuisine and regularly changing dishes. We had deer liver and goulash, both dishes were really tasty and perfectly prepared. The prices are very, very humane for what you get there. Elsewhere you usually pay more for less. We were completely satisfied and will probably eat there more often now.

It was a spontaneous trip that was really worth it. Super friendly and authentic. The summer terrace is designed in a rustic style with great attention to detail. Cozy niches invite you to linger longer. The food was great. Great in terms of taste and price. We will definitely come back next summer to visit. Keep up the great work.

Rustic Restaurant offering regional dishes. The courtyard is very attractive and spacious - ideal for relaxed, casual dinner! The service is very attentive and flexible! As the restaurant is quite popular, I would suggest to book in advance!

In the very rustic outdoor area with the very attentive staff there was schnitzel with chanterelles. Unfortunately, the chanterelles weren't eaten, so there were one or two or one or two bad ones 🍄 🍄. It was a great evening, the food was delicious, also went very quickly. Service was on point, always attentive but without being annoying. Large selection of food and drinks, all fresh and delicious. Of course, at €30 per head on average, it's not that cheap, but it's all good for the overall package. It is a very well-kept house where you can spend a cozy evening. A very clear recommendation from me.

Mega delicious schnitzel, with crispy breading and beautifully prepared with mushroom cream sauce. The food is always GREAT and so is the ambience, rustic furniture and a beautiful garden. One point deducted for paying in cash because we didn't know beforehand and had to do the math. Otherwise we would have liked to order something else.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio for the food and drinks is not quite right. The food is good, the ambience is also quite nice, the interior design is a bit chaotic. The ladies' room was disgusting, but there was also a wedding taking place, so maybe... not the normal state. The service in football jerseys may be a nice gag for the bar atmosphere in the front area, but I found it rather inappropriate in the back, more dignified restaurant area. Unfortunately the music was too loud due to the party next door, but it was still a nice, home-style restaurant.

The Goldener Hirsch has a diverse and very impressive ambience. For that reason alone you should be here. There is nothing to criticize about the service. The selection of dishes also leaves nothing to be desired. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Even the toilets are a highlight here and, according to popular belief, you can judge a restaurant based on them. Be sure to take a look!

The atmosphere of the restaurant and the beer gardens are lovingly and comfortably furnished. The food is delicious and the portions are more than generous without sacrificing quality. Very nice atmosphere. Were there around 1 p.m. in the best weather. The beer garden was half full. When we wanted to sit at a free table, we were asked about our reservation. Since we didn't have one, we had to take a seat inside. It was not possible to go outside, although there were enough tables available. It's a shame...so we left again. Unfortunately not good service!

We celebrated our daughter's birthday in the business garden with 25 guests. The location was unique and very lovingly designed with many plants. The table decorations were creative and beautiful. We had a buffet which was absolutely delicious. All employees are extremely service-oriented and responded professionally to each of our individual requests. All of our guests are still raving about the celebration today. Many thanks again to the entire Hirsch team.

The “Goldener Hirsch” inn has a pleasant, rustic atmosphere - the staff and especially the waitresses are always very friendly and always up for a little joke. Unfortunately, there is a deduction because the stated allergens in the food are not always adhered to - e.g. For example, there is the delicious bruschetta, which is advertised as lactose-free/vegan according to the menu but is then served at the table with parmesan. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit in the Leipzig area - especially if you like home cooking and regional dishes. Vegetarian options/dishes are available, vegan dishes are also possible upon consultation/adjustments.

We found the atmosphere very, very nice. The food wasn't bad either, but the inside of the roulade wasn't really that great, i.e. bacon and pickled cucumbers. What I think is a shame is that there are no water bowls for dogs and some of the staff seemed very serious. Otherwise you can stay there well.

Absolutely recommended, every dish and drink we have eaten so far is excellent and always freshly prepared with that “certain something” that is second to none. Unique restaurant. However, supporters of traditional football clubs should not have an RBL allergy 😉 An advertising sign spontaneously led me there on a Sunday evening. Although it was very busy with many reservations, I still managed to get a spot. The waitress made every effort not to turn anyone away, as I noticed. If you like good home cooking, this is the place for you.

A hidden gem. Lovingly and opulently decorated old inn with many intricate rooms. Great atmosphere. Very attentive service. For example, food is always served to all table guests at the same time. The food is good, the portions are very generous. There are also dance events from time to time, including for those over 40/50. The only downside: you have to drive there.

We pass through once a year and are always treated with a good time, great food and service!

70th birthday messed up and even afterwards incomprehensible and arrogant. We ate at the Goldener Hirsch every now and then. Since we had small children registered and with us, we had of course taken precautions and brought coloring sheets and a small matchbox with us. The inn kindly provided a puzzle + large toy cars, which were great to race around the table on. Shortly after the main course, we were informed that our children's behavior was not desired. We took this as an opportunity to order the bill and want to speak to someone responsible. The lady in charge appeared and began to explain to us in an aggressive and loud tone that we would not educate our children. Who brought the big puzzle and the big cars again? It was loud in the store anyway, music was on, there was a lively atmosphere at other tables, so the children didn't make much of a difference. The tables in the hall are far apart and the children were not at other guests' tables. We don't understand where the problem is. Afterwards, we made another friendly attempt to smooth things over, but that doesn't seem to be what we wanted. This is how you lose guests. There were ten of us. Very unfortunate. ☹️

Authentic furnishings and cuisine, but absolutely not child-friendly. As soon as we were greeted, we were looked at askance and the staff talked badly about us and our two kids behind our backs (and we don't have any loud kids). We've been wanting to go to the Goldener Hirsch for a long time based on a recommendation. Now finally done. I would only like to complain about two shortcomings. For us it is relatively normal to order and receive tap water, for various reasons. We did that too (with the wine spritzer), got a carafe and thought wow... that's nice, a small glass would have been enough. The awakening came with the bill, 6.95 euros for the carafe. Unfortunately, I also chose the wrong dish for me; someone else might not have been bothered by the fact that the duck breast was not crispy, but pale and wobbly on my plate, on a small portion of vegetables and lots of it (far too much for me). many, I expected more vegetables from the description). I returned the duck and got it back 5 minutes later, subtly but really just subtly browned and crispier. Left the skin on the plate and was disappointed.

We had made a reservation and it was quite busy. The staff was very friendly and quick. Unfortunately, it took almost 1.5 hours for the main course to be served, which is clearly too long, even if only one person ordered a starter. Maybe you could have gotten along with that, but one meal wasn't warm and one meal wasn't of good quality (the meat was dry on the Saxon grill plate), which isn't ok given the prices. That was very unfortunate and disappointing. The starter (wild garlic soup) and the steak ou four should be highlighted. That was very tasty. Maybe a tip on the side, the cobwebs around the top would have to be removed, it can happen, but not to this extent.

I/we were thrilled. A very special atmosphere. Totally lovingly prepared. There is so much to look at and read too. You can't even tell from the outside of the "golden deer". Inside, madness. Several rooms, all prepared with love. The boss, the staff 👍👍👍, the menu, TipTop, something for everyone. I had the Mutzbraten, my husband had the venison goulash. We really enjoyed it. We will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend it. Oh yes, if you want to eat well and cheaply and for cheap, you shouldn't go there, but if you like good food and a cozy, clean atmosphere, this is the place for you.

Apparently the 19 percent was added to the former 7 percent instead of deducting the 7 percent beforehand. Dishes that cost 19 euros have now risen to 26 euros. But even that doesn't add up mathematically. The salad bouquet is now just a bouquet. Somehow that makes me sad. I understand that at the moment everyone has to see where they stay and all costs have increased, so we now only have the option of looking for an alternative or staying at home. (Including various business lunches) I am very disappointed.

The location is ideal for 2 people to large celebrations. As I said, we'll definitely be back! The price is justified here!

Liebevoll, bis ins Detail eingerichteter Gasthof mit freundlichen Service und extrem leckeren Speisen 😋 Allerdings ist es sehr empfehlenswert vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren, hier ist immer was los. Auf der Getränkekarte sollte auch jeder fündig werden, egal ob mir oder ohne Alkohol. Auch bei den Speisen ist die Auswahl breit gefächert, dafür einfach auf der Webseite die Speicherkarte durchblättern. Kurz und knapp, ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

Sicher kein Restaurant für den schmalen Geldbeutel. Aber die Gerichte sind sehr lecker. Das Ambiente war sehr angenehm und die Bedienungen fix und freundlich
