We spontaneously visited the restaurant on Sunday lunchtime and immediately got a seat in the beautiful beer garden. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the cozy atmosphere – the beer garden is lovingly designed and immediately invites you to relax. The food was excellent: we had venison goulash and roast venison: freshly prepared, very flavorful, and attractively presented. You can tell that great importance is placed on quality here. We would also like to particularly highlight the service – the waitress was not only quick and attentive, but also extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the entire visit even more enjoyable. All in all, our stay was perfect. We felt very comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant. A visit we will definitely repeat soon!

High-quality, home-style cooking in a lovingly maintained ambiance. Reservations are advisable. Refined recipes. Recommendation: The schnitzel with creamed mushroom sauce. The not-too-thin schnitzel was perfectly fried. The sauce was intense, seasoned with a touch of truffle oil, as mentioned on the menu. Simply fantastic. We had a wonderful yellow Muscat with it. Not something you'd find everywhere on the menu. The Kaiserschmarrn at the end was perfect, a poem. Why go to Austria for that? We deducted a star because of the cool service at our table. In any case: The Goldener Hirsch is a beacon of excellent, home-style cooking in the best sense of the word.

Oh man! We don't go that often, but we've been guests at the "Goldener Hirsch" for years... I remember as a child how fascinated I was by the "hot stone"... Today I know that the best chef doesn't sit in front of the stone, but calls the kitchen at the "Goldener Hirsch" his living room :) :) No matter when, in all the years, we've been there - every meal is not only a visual highlight, but also an absolute blast in terms of taste!! Added to that is the incredibly friendly and attentive staff in a very cozy atmosphere... Mr. Köhler really did everything right! Chapeau! PS to all those bill critics: If you feel comfortable in a restaurant and think you'd still like to experience this in a few years, then there's really no reason to complain about this "hygiene surcharge"! I think it's a fair solution on the part of the restaurateur - especially in these difficult times! In other countries - like Italy, for example - a flat service charge per person is charged upfront. Nobody cares about that! Keep it up, Mr. Köhler!

We had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. Drinks were also forgotten several times, despite ordering. Unfortunately, the staff showed no service-oriented attitude.

We got married today and went to the Goldener Hirsch with 25 people. We were served in the business garden. What a beautiful location. So many palm trees and flowers, arranged so beautifully that you'd think you were in the Mediterranean. Simply stylish, with great taste and attention to detail. The service staff looked after us very well and were always approachable. The buffet...what can we say...simply top-notch. A huge thank you goes to the chef, Mr. Köhler. You didn't overpromise, and our expectations were simply exceeded. We felt very comfortable. All of our guests also enjoyed themselves very much. Thank you so much

The food was good, but the prices are a bit higher, which is necessary given the size of the restaurant, as otherwise it wouldn't be financially viable. A very cozy inn. The food was delicious and was brought to us quickly.

Great food, great ambience, lovingly furnished. The food is of good quality and sufficiently portioned. The service staff who served us were always attentive and very pleasant. However, a waiter accompanying us with a playing toddler made it clear very loudly and clearly audible to other guests that the child was disturbing the guests. This is unacceptable. You can point out such guests and ask them to look after the child, but doing so in front of other guests is a no-go!

We were thrilled the first time we chose the restaurant for our colleagues' get-together. This time we are disappointed. The gentleman who served us that evening was unfriendly. There were 6 of us. We gathered around the cash register to pay because he didn't want to pay at the table. He mistyped pretty much all of us. He gave the impression that he was not well versed in billing systems. After everyone was settled, we stood at our table for a few minutes until everyone had packed up. Our waitress remembered that 2 Styrofoam boxes had to be accounted for. Two of us had the uneaten leftovers packed up. There was still a total of 1.70 euros to collect! Considering how much I tipped alone, I thought this was a bold move. We all immediately agreed: We won't have the next regulars' get-together here! It's a shame how quickly an otherwise good impression can be ruined!

Very tasty, quick food, friendly staff and lovingly detailed furnishings. For schnitzel fans like me: there is a schnitzel menu that allows you to put together your own meal (side dishes, etc.). We really like it there. We would love to come back!

Our first visit today was simply great: Here you know your craft in cuisine, service AND ambience. It will take many more visits to discover all the loving details in the guest room. Big praise to the service. Always attentive, charming and courteous. Although some guests were unable to get a place during our stay due to lack of reservations, the staff was very friendly and solution-oriented. In short: We will be repeat visitors and look forward to the outdoor seating in the summer.
