A beautiful beer garden with classic drinks and food. Service was very quick despite a large group. The beers were delicious, but the lemonade was a little too sweet for some of us. The main courses were of a very high standard and extremely tasty. In terms of satiety, the portion sizes were in any case okay. In view of the price-performance ratio, there could have been a little more meat on the plate. All in all, you can spend a lovely, delicious and sociable evening at Miramar. 👍

Was there with a friend, super friendly staff, delicious seasoned meat and Big Irish Burgers were delicious.

The Miramar is always a good address, very tasty food, super friendly and attentive service. We can only praise it again and again and recommend it.

I invited my daughter to dinner. The drinks we ordered: Cola and blackcurrant spritzer were non-carbonated and not chilled. The food: two steak au four with fries was no more than “okay”. Only one meal was served - with the note: “The second one is coming soon”. 5 minutes later the waitress came and said that a mistake had been made and that she could keep the steak warm until the second meal was ready. After another wait, two steak au four arrived. Meat tough, ketchup and mayo in plastic bag, no place to put the packaging except on the table. 46 euros later I was so disappointed that we left the restaurant after an hour. We won't be coming back!

Don't think twice! Go! Food is extremely delicious. Blueberry lemonade is recommended. The waitresses are all very funny. Everyone seems to enjoy working here. The most beautiful place is on the wall overlooking the lake. Even in extreme heat, you can sit cool in the shade of the trees. We were here two out of three days and would love to come back. Top recommendation!

Ordered a table on the terrace for a birthday, in this weather, the best.food was very tasty and the version with chanterelles, delicious.food also came quickly and the replenishment of drinks also worked well. We had our 1 year old grandson with us and he was very enthusiastic about the waiter, I think it was Ricardo from Spain. Whenever he came over, he would give our Leon a quick laugh. One of our guests has never even been to your restaurant, even though she has lived in Chemnitz for 50 years. In short, it's always worth a visit, recommended.

Location and ambience 5 ⭐ simply pleasant there, you sit comfortably with enough distance from the table, but you still feel right in the middle of the action, very, very pleasant. Mango lemonade with dragon fruit, Asia bowl, sauerbraten, ... absolutely delicious food. We sat outside on the wall with a view of the castle pond, ... it couldn't be better. The service fulfilled all of our wishes with friendliness! Go! (reserve in advance if you wish)

A long time ago I was satisfied with the service, staff and ambience in the beer garden. I found the food to be rather mediocre. After my visit yesterday, however, I was very satisfied with everything overall, seat in the beer garden at the wall (previously reserved), service, staff, food and also the price. The dinner plate was visually appealing and absolutely delicious. Nice, keep it up and thank you very much.

Going to Miramar on a summer evening is like a short vacation! The service is great, special requests are responded to in a friendly and natural manner - if feasible - and the ambience high above the castle pond is unparalleled in Chemnitz. Reservation is strongly recommended if you don't want to be disappointed! A look at the menu will show you whether you've come to the right place... a clear recommendation from me if you want to spend a nice evening.

Very nice atmosphere. Very tasty homemade lemonade. The solyanka could be improved. Everyone else really enjoyed it.

Very slow service. It was before the evening peak, but it took the servers almost an hour to bring 3 scoops of ice cream. Ice cream was good, though, as well as the food and drinks.

A restaurant. A beer garden. Or both. It doesn't really matter, because the location is really nice, the staff is super nice and on the ball... and the food tasted really good every time either way. I can only recommend spending one or two mild summer evenings there.

Insgesamt ein guter Eindruck. Schöne Umgebung mit Blick zum Schlossteich und dem Museum. Warum will man beim Reservieren wissen, zu welchen Anlass man die Gaststätte ("Geburtstag" ankreuzt) besucht?! Es gab keine Wunderkerzen oder Torte 😂. Das Essen war sehr gut. Nur der Service im Innenraum des Miramar könnte aufmerksamer sein. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, es hat nur etwas gedauert bis wir wahrgenommen wurden um die Bestellung aufzunehmen und später die leeren Teller abgeräumt wurden.

Overall a good impression. Beautiful surroundings with a view of the castle pond and the museum. When making a reservation, why do you want to know the occasion for which you are visiting the restaurant ("birthday")?! There were no sparklers or cake 😂. The food was very good. Only the service inside the Miramar could be more attentive. The service was very nice, it just took a while until we were noticed to take the order and the empty plates were later cleared away.

Leider war der bestellte Burger (extra ohne Tomaten zum mitnehmen bestellt) , mit der allergiebringenden Frucht belegt. Sehr schade, denn der Abend war dieses ausgenommen, sehr schön.

Ein schönes Ambiente und ein toller Biergarten mit Blick auf den Schlossteich. Die Bedienung ist flott und sehr freundlich. Meine Familie und ich waren schon des öfteren dort und immer sehr zufrieden. Auch zur Corona-Zeiten, angerufen ,Bestellung aufgegeben und gut verpackt abgeholt. Es gibt ein Spielzimmer für kleine Gäste die nicht lange still sitzen können oder wollen und auch einen kleinen Spielplatz. Das Essen ist schmackhaft und sehr reichlich. Hungrig geht man da auf keinen Fall heraus . Diese tolle Gaststätte ist immer einen Besuch wert.

We've had lunch there several times, the ambience and food are good, the waiters are ok, but what we didn't like was that we asked on two different days if we could get a table on the wall with a view of the castle pond and were told twice they would be reserved, which would have been ok if that were the case!!! However, not a single table was occupied the entire time we were there. That's why there is a deduction of stars for the service.

Lovely location, food is generally good, and service is consistently bad. The last time we went we asked for a specific topping to be left off of the French fry appetizer because of a food intolerance and the waitress ROLLED her EYES at us. We’ve given Miramar several chances after many instances of poor service and attitude from the waitstaff, but I think the rolling of the eyes was the last straw. People with food intolerances shouldn’t be made to feel bad - it’s not as if we can help it or as if it’s our wish to make someone’s job harder. A lot of effort goes into looking at a menu and choosing something that requires the least tweaking to eat so that neither the chef nor the waitstaff are put out. Sad that we cannot recommend going here because it is a genuinely very nice location.

Gutes Restaurant. Angemessene Preise und das Essen war auch gut. In Summe gibt es nichts besonders gutes aber auch nichts schlechtes zu sagen.

The quality of the food and the service were excellent. The staff was also very, very friendly and attentive. We had burgers and steak "au four" including side dishes for a really good price. A certain Stadtpark restaurant could learn a thing or two or the kitchen staff should simply go to Miramar to test it out. The outside and inside areas are well maintained and attractive. Unfortunately there are no direct parking spaces to the location. However, you can find parking spaces in the area around the castle church and the restaurant can be reached after a short walk through the park. A visit is definitely recommended. Top!

We had a wonderful evening until a dark blonde older waitress came and tried to cash in on us. She literally begged for a tip and rudely told us to tip next time. Otherwise she supposedly would have to give a few percent of her own money to the chefs. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere! You noticed a feigned friendliness among the waiters, which was only designed to get tips. Out of the corner of our eye we could see that this waitress had repeatedly gossiped about us. It doesn't work at all! This waitress takes away the desire to come back again.

We went there with the family and everyone enjoyed it. I had the Postkutscher schnitzel, which was a bit too dry for me. I also didn't like the coleslaw. However, I have had very good meals here several times. And it's worth it for the view too.

Unfortunately, there is an extreme shortage of staff. And the employees don't feel like doing their job. The food isn't bad, but unfortunately the service messes it up.

Es war wieder mal ein angenehmer Abend im Miramar.

We were there for our child's graduation. The food was very tasty but slightly more expensive than average. The selection of vegetarian dishes was rather limited and I can therefore not recommend the restaurant for vegetarians with a clear conscience. The service was consistently nice and attentive. The toilets were clean and tidy.

My rating only refers to the public viewing from June 19, 2024. I paid €30 for a marquee set and still have to pay extra money when I use the toilet. That is not possible. I also had the feeling that some visitors had not booked a marquee set and were still sitting on it. It wasn't checked either. That makes you feel a little fooled.

Were there today for the public viewing. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate! But the team was on their toes and handed out rain ponchos - free of charge -👌 There is some deduction because the bratwurst wasn't good at all, totally greasy and no taste. Unfortunately the beer was only available in disposable cups, which was a shame. Overall it was still a nice evening.

We had booked a room for the youth consecration in the Miramar. Everything chic, everything beautiful. The room was really great and the food was also delicious. Some drinks always had an ingredient missing, but they were good. Every drink was always a surprise, so to speak. What was really an absolute no-go was the service (we weren't 20 people). As soon as the champagne was distributed, the children and guests who didn't want champagne were given a glass. We noted that it has been changed. As the evening progressed, a new waiter came to us again and again, took the order and another waiter/waitress served the drinks. Of course, they had to keep asking who had ordered what, and some waiters didn't even open their mouths. We didn't feel at home because no staff came for a long time. Some of our guests went to the bar and ordered drinks there, where we were asked who our waiter was... Well, that question was difficult to answer answer, someone else always came to us. And our table was full of empty glasses (I should have taken a photo of it), sometimes there was a dessert plate all evening long that only had "mush" on it, as was the stand where we went. No trace of service. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it for celebrations.

We were tempted by the EM offer and reserved a beer table set for €30. In the so-called VIP area, all the tables were placed so close to each other that one half of the neighboring table always had to stand up if someone wanted to leave. It is outrageous to charge money for the seating area (advance payment via online purchase, of course) and then set up an entire lawn with additional benches, chairs and tables for free. What is cheeky, however, is the fact that all the free seats are in FRONT of the non-elevated and paid VIP area, and someone is always standing in front of the lens, running, meeting, etc. 50 cent toilet fee for a container OK, but there was no electricity for the first two hours, which meant peeing in the pitch black and still paying the full price for it. Complete event in the spirit of greedy rascals. Let's find another place for PV for the next games

My grandchild had his youth consecration, we had ordered with table decorations, we received 8 napkins, which WAS the table decorations, after asking, the waitress put a few red stones on the table, even though my daughter had called again... We were lucky a flowerpot with...The food definitely tasted better, it had nothing to do with sauerbraten and my steak au four was dry and there was no sign of the seasoned meat underneath, so not again for these prices... It's actually a shame we always liked going there because I grew up in Chemnitz and I know it differently. Even though the Miramar has done quite well so far, I'm very disappointed.?...But the waiters were very nice.

Den Raum mit Mee(h)resblick zur Jugendweihe für 19 Personen gemietet. Es fehlten weiße Tischdecken. Keine frischen Blumen auf Tisch, nur solche "Wedel". Die Bedienung kam selten von allein. Man musste sehr oft zum Tresen, um die Bedienung für Bestellungen zum Mee(h)resblickraum zu holen. Immer jemand anderes als Bedienung gehabt. So wusste das Personal beim Reichen der Speisen auch nicht, wer was bestellt hatte. Ewig auf das Essen warten müssen.

Nicely located, delicious food (from home cooking to trendy [burgers etc.]). The staff is friendly and “on the ball”. Despite the full house and beer garden, you never had to wait long for a new drink or food.
