Terrible service, mediocre, overpriced food and terrible music. Not recommended at all!

Were there for a birthday party. The food was very tasty and the service was nice.

Rarely have we had such a bad meal, we were in a group and no one was happy with their food, really too expensive for Chemnitz. Ambience very nice.

War zur Geburtstagsfeier . Sehr freundliche Bedienung, das immer bestrebt war , das es uns an nichts fehlt. Essen war sehr gut . Die Burger kann ich nur empfehlen. Auch das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Spielplatz für die kleinen Gäste ist auch vorhanden. Und bei schönem Wetter macht es richtig Laune dort zu verweilen und den Tag genießen und sich verwöhnen zu lassen. LG 😂

Today we spontaneously went to dinner at Miramar. It was really delicious! The ambience was beautiful with a view of the greenery, the restaurant was very clean and the service was extremely friendly! The price-performance ratio is very good! It's worth stopping here!

Wir hat ten eine Reservierung per Internet vorgenommen, diese wurde bei unserer Ankunft problemlos bestätigt. Unser zugewiesener Tisch für 2 Personen direkt am Fenstwer war schön. Die Bedienung war sehr professionell und freundlich. Das Essen kam nach einer akzeptablen Wartezeit und war hervorragend. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden.

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist nicht zu übertreffen. Das Essen geschmaklich absolute Spitze.

Das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich und bequem. Das Essen (3 verschiedene Gerichte) alle hervorragend und schmackhaft zubereitet. Das Preis-/Leistubgsverhaeltnis mit desweiteren auch schneller und freundlicher Bedienung ist daher Top. Kein Wunder das man deshalb am Wochenende ohne Reservierung evtl. keinen Platz bekommt.

Essen wie immer ausgezeichnet( Ente & Knurrhahn) Service aufmerksam. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.👍

We had pre-ordered online. Unfortunately, our comments/requests were not taken into account. There was neither a baby chair at the table nor was the table nicely decorated for the birthday. However, we received the chair upon request. The service was very nice from the start. We had to wait quite a long time for the food and unfortunately some dishes were completely unsuccessful. For example, the rice and vegetables were overcooked, the homemade boulette was not delicate and had a greasy consistency (like meat), and the grapes that were added were moldy and were therefore promptly returned. Except for the knuckle, all the dishes were rather bland and unspectacular in taste. Unfortunately also the rump steaks. It's a shame... The knuckle, however, was very good. What's fantastic is the playroom for the little ones. The atmosphere is also very chic. From a culinary point of view, however, we wouldn't come back for the time being. Nevertheless, praise to the service, which was very accommodating and also accepted the criticism well.

Hello, very nice atmosphere and very friendly service. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great. System catering, the fries taste like mush, the meat is very dry. It has nothing to do with cooking, everything is just warmed up. VG

Beautifully located between the castle pond and the castle church. However, the food used to be better. Ketchup and mayonnaise in sachets instead of bowls. The same Champion sauce over both the schnitzel and the goulash.

In summer you can relax in the beer garden with a view of the sea. ✨️🍻

Actually only discovered by chance. A small oasis that has a beautiful beer garden in summer and plenty of space inside when the weather is bad. You can be lucky if you're a couple (depending on the time), but it might be helpful to make a reservation. Very friendly staff, delicious food, cozy and a great range of events. Also suitable for a celebration. There is a children's room for children - great concept. Definitely recommended!!

The pumpkin bowl is really recommended, the sauce in particular was really great. The (fried) schnitzel (strange striped structures under the breading), on the other hand, was unfortunately not that great. The mushroom sauce wasn't warmed through properly. Ketchup and mayonnaise were added in small bags. The use had to be put on the table due to the lack of extra plates... not so nice... There was also the so-called... Natural fries. My impression was that only finished products were used, but maybe I'm wrong... But the Spanish waiter was great.

Wir waren heute zum Mittag im Miramar mit unseren beiden Kindern (1&6 Jahre). Alle Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich, aufmerksam und das Essen war ein Gedicht. Selten haben wir so schnell und so leckeres Essen gegessen. Das Spielzimmer machte die kurze Wartezeit für den Großen erträglich und es waren gelungene Stunden an einem Sonntag Mittag. Vielen Dank dafür.

If you like cold burgers with little poultry meat, this is the place for you. And for just under €17, it would have been nice if ketchup and the "salad mayonnaise" for the fries had been served in small bowls and not in tear-open bags like in fast food. In the end, the card reader for Visa and Girocard failed miserably, so I had to Had to scrape together €120 in cash. But the waiter was very friendly and accommodating, that must be mentioned. Nevertheless, after many years of being there, it was my last visit. For such little dining experience, the price is definitely no longer appropriate; other innkeepers in this city can do that much better.

I was waiting almost 7-8 minutes at the desk. There were only 3-4 guests in the restaurant and 2 staffs have seen me as well, but nobody came to me. I think this was rude, so I left and I went to the Gasthaus an der Schlossmühle. It was the best choice.

Had dinner with colleagues on Friday evening. Great service, pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Overall nothing to complain about!

Stilvoll eingerichtetes Gastzimmer mit reichlich Platz am Tisch, für Rollstuhlfahrer barrierer Zugang, freundliche Bedienung, die hausgemachten Limonaden sind sehr lecker, Essen ist lecker, meine Pommes Frites waren heute etwas zu lange im Oel, ansonsten aber super.

Unfortunately we didn't make a reservation and therefore couldn't get a seat on Friday evening. The location is unique and the furnishings are great. The beer garden is furnished with great attention to detail.

Enjoy your meal. No excessively long waiting times. Very friendly team who care about their guests! Regularly delicious seasonal offers & the homemade lemonades are awesome. Price - performance is top. Family friendly and a really nice location. It's important to make a reservation because there's always something going on here.

Not the first time here. At Christmas, I really liked the traditional Christmas menu, namely goose soup, also very tasty meat. The terrace is open during the warm season. I have also been there recently, I highly recommend this establishment, the staff is polite, and the establishment is clean. Thank you for your work♥️

Es war rundherum alles bestens, angefangen bei der Reservierung. Freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen mit saisonalen Highlights und im Aperol Sprizz war ausreichend Aperol enthalten. Wir haben draußen mit Blick auf den Schlossteich gesessen, aber auch imInnenraum befindet sich ein geschmackvolles Albiente. Sehr zu empfehlen! Kein Wunder, dassdas Restaurant am Dienstag mittags gut besucht war. Ich empfehle es gern wei.

Despite a hot summer day, you can survive in the shady outdoor area. There are only a few streetside parking spaces for the size of the Miramar. The staff were very friendly, nice and helpful during our visit and always had a smile on their faces. The food was very tasty. The prices cannot be described as cheap, especially the small ice cream cups in the small "mason jar". You can pay by credit card here, including tips. There is no free WiFi, at least outside.

I had the pork schnitzel with fries and mushrooms... the schnitzel was just full of fat and the fries were bad. When asked, we couldn't even complain about the food. The service was terrible. Literally turned a blind eye and extremely rude. Always enjoyed being here but the next visit may be a long time coming.

Ich würde gerne ein "gut" vergeben, diese Auswahl gibt es hier leider nicht. Das Lokal liegt sehr schön, hat einen großen Biergarten. Wir hatten einen Tisch an der Brüstung mit Ausblick über den Schlossteich und zur Stadt. Der Service ar engagiert, flott und freundlich. Das Essen hat ein akzeptabeles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, verdient aber kein "sehr gut", ich hatte Pasta mit Pfifferlingen. Das war eine etwas amorphe Mischung, eher zu lange gekocht und sehr sparsam gewürzt. Auch das Essen meiner Kollegen sah eher nach Durchschnitt aus. Da wir einen sehr schönen Tisch und guten Service hatten und gemeinsam einen schönen Abend verbracht habe, ringe ich mich dann zum "sehr gut" durch.

Visited this restaurant yesterday after the company run. We sat outside, the weather was lovely. The service was friendly and well placed. Some took food, another served. I thought it was good. My starter three types of hummus were delicious. My rump steak, just as I ordered it. And the requests for changes to my supplement were also addressed. I had ordered English and got it and onion mashed potatoes instead of fries. The corn as a side dish had a good flavor. I didn't expect that. I liked it. I deduct the point for the price. Because in Chemnitz I can get the same quality and quantity for 6 euros cheaper, just around the corner from me. I still have a recommendation though.

For me the best restaurant in Chemnitz. The sauerbraten was excellent and I already miss it. The area, the ambience, the service, everything was very, very good. Price performance is top for the quality of the food. Beer standard price. In total, with 4 beers, 1 espresso and the sauerbraten you'll get around €40. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We came spontaneously from Dresden and got a great place with a view of the castle pond. The staff was super friendly throughout, simply wonderful. The food was a treat and absolutely delicious. Thank you for this great time in your wonderful ambience.

Food was not good and everything was dry and hard Evening was over 40 km there and back and then paid 75 euros with wife and child, everything never looks good again but the rest....

We visited the restaurant when the beer garden weather was nice. A reservation is recommended for your desired spot. We were there on Wednesday and the beer garden was very well attended.

A beautiful beer garden with classic drinks and food. Service was very quick despite a large group. The beers were delicious, but the lemonade was a little too sweet for some of us. The main courses were of a very high standard and extremely tasty. In terms of satiety, the portion sizes were in any case okay. In view of the price-performance ratio, there could have been a little more meat on the plate. All in all, you can spend a lovely, delicious and sociable evening at Miramar. 👍

I invited my daughter to dinner. The drinks we ordered: Cola and blackcurrant spritzer were non-carbonated and not chilled. The food: two steak au four with fries was no more than “okay”. Only one meal was served - with the note: “The second one is coming soon”. 5 minutes later the waitress came and said that a mistake had been made and that she could keep the steak warm until the second meal was ready. After another wait, two steak au four arrived. Meat tough, ketchup and mayo in plastic bag, no place to put the packaging except on the table. 46 euros later I was so disappointed that we left the restaurant after an hour. We won't be coming back!

The Miramar is always a good address, very tasty food, super friendly and attentive service. We can only praise it again and again and recommend it.

Das Miramar ist 100% zu empfehlen. Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang, keinerlei lange Wartezeiten. Überaus freundliche Bedienung, alle Servicekräfte sehr aufmerksam. Dazu ein tolles Ambiente, das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Die Auswahl ist sehr vielfältig, auch bei den Getränken. Uns hat es rundum sehr gut gefallen. Eine der besten Adressen in Chemnitz, um einen schönen Abend zu verbringen. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Weiter so... danke!

Don't think twice! Go! Food is extremely delicious. Blueberry lemonade is recommended. The waitresses are all very funny. Everyone seems to enjoy working here. The most beautiful place is on the wall overlooking the lake. Even in extreme heat, you can sit cool in the shade of the trees. We were here two out of three days and would love to come back. Top recommendation!

Ordered a table on the terrace for a birthday, in this weather, the best.food was very tasty and the version with chanterelles, delicious.food also came quickly and the replenishment of drinks also worked well. We had our 1 year old grandson with us and he was very enthusiastic about the waiter, I think it was Ricardo from Spain. Whenever he came over, he would give our Leon a quick laugh. One of our guests has never even been to your restaurant, even though she has lived in Chemnitz for 50 years. In short, it's always worth a visit, recommended.

A long time ago I was satisfied with the service, staff and ambience in the beer garden. I found the food to be rather mediocre. After my visit yesterday, however, I was very satisfied with everything overall, seat in the beer garden at the wall (previously reserved), service, staff, food and also the price. The dinner plate was visually appealing and absolutely delicious. Nice, keep it up and thank you very much.

Going to Miramar on a summer evening is like a short vacation! The service is great, special requests are responded to in a friendly and natural manner - if feasible - and the ambience high above the castle pond is unparalleled in Chemnitz. Reservation is strongly recommended if you don't want to be disappointed! A look at the menu will show you whether you've come to the right place... a clear recommendation from me if you want to spend a nice evening.
