Great restaurant in the oldest part of Chemnitz over 3 floors and beer garden. Very nice host and nice attentive staff. Food was very tasty. I highly recommend beer goulash with bread dumplings. The beer is also delicious and the bread schnapps at the end was simply great. We can highly recommend a visit!

The place was clean, tidy and cozy. The lady was sweet and nice. Food was fresh and delicious. Rest room only on the first floor. Did I mention that the lady was super nice? 👍🏻😇

I actually expected a lot more given the prices on the menu. The food was unrelated to the asking price. In my opinion it was an expensive train station meal. The staff was sometimes completely overwhelmed. Poor air conditioning with half full occupancy. There is a lot that can be done better...

Went here for dinner on Sunday with a pre-order. Staff very friendly, food and drinks were served quickly, even though the cozy restaurant was very busy. We all enjoyed the food very much. This restaurant is highly recommended.

Service staff are nice but forgetful - drinks were only served upon request. Absolute no-go: ordered rump steak - got pork loin (a colleague of mine is a farmer and confirmed that it was definitely not beef).

We would especially like to emphasize the very friendly and warm service. Some restaurants, especially here in the East, can learn a lesson. The food was also fantastic.

There were two of us and we sat on the terrace. For dinner we have the brawn with fried potatoes and remulade. Pork medallions with mushroom cream sauce and fries. Because chanterelles were offered, it was changed to “chanterelle cream sauce” which was also on the menu and served with a small salad. It was said that the chanterelles cost €6 more. Because I wanted her, I agreed. I got pork medallions, fries and a good portion of fried chanterelles. Unfortunately no sauce, it was tasty but a bit dry. The small salad was leaf lettuce mix, shredded raw carrot, shredded raw cabbage. Everything without dressing (there is none on the menu for small and large salads, although yoghurt dressing and Vinegrett should be found in the kitchen according to the salad menu. Chicken salad is on the menu with yoghurt dressing and shrimp salmon harmony with Vinegrett). Sorry, I'm not a rabbit, this is the first time I've come across a salad without dressing. When I asked, I got my salad back with a mixture of lots of water and herbs as a dressing. No oil, acid or taste to it. The brawn and the remulade were also boring in terms of taste. Seasoned as sparingly as hospital food. The necessary pep was completely missing. After it was complained about, a second brawn was tried in the kitchen and the staff found it OK. We then had to pay for it in full. It was nice that we received a glass of delicious Rose 🍷 wine and 2 cappuccinos as compensation. The service was very friendly and apologized several times. But ultimately everyone has to decide for themselves whether they can have a good meal here.

Your waiter (formerly worked in Bavaria and Swabia) was great. I have never felt so much passion from any waiter in the last 10 years. Plus delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. Great evening!!

Very committed team and delicious food. I had the chicken leg with red cabbage and dumplings, my partner had the snack with Hackepeter. Was highly recommended. Personally, I miss sophisticated non-alcoholic drinks such as cocktails or lemonades. Classics such as Cola, water, Fanta etc. are available. The snack was a bit small, but I can still highly recommend the restaurant. Dogs are allowed and are also lovingly provided with water.

The food here tastes very good and is also reasonably priced. The service is particularly friendly and has a great way of dealing with the guests. The ambience is also nice and when the temperatures are warm you can sit outside. You can also park for free directly on site.

A nice restaurant with an inviting terrace. The waiter is a gem, friendly to children and sometimes jokes. He really seems to have found his calling. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I'll definitely come back.

We expected a stylish atmosphere with good food. Sat in the unkempt outdoor area, waited for an hour and then got a really bad, carelessly thrown-together meal. Dry roasted meat with fatty fried potatoes and mayo decoration... I would have eaten it in any beer garden for a quarter of the price. It's a shame and I'll definitely never again. Far too expensive for such quality and service

Celebrated 90th birthday there. We sat outside. Like everyone else. Although we had booked inside and we chose this restaurant because of the ambience. No tablecloth, table decorations etc. Large cobwebs on the wall behind us. Very unloving overall. The birthday child was congratulated once and that was it. Eating small portions overall, fries over-fried. Asparagus salad unfortunately had raw asparagus, which wasn't on the menu. Keller's humor is not for everyone. It's a shame.

The restaurants at the Schlossteich always impress me with their great ambience. In the “An der Schlossmühle” inn we were warmly welcomed and served delicious food. Thank you.

If you want to spontaneously eat or have a drink, you should look for another restaurant. I have to hurry so that the guest can close on time and there isn't much of a selection of cocktails. I can't say anything about the food.

The tavern is rustic and cozy. But when we arrived we were greeted by an older maid who stood out because of her very unfriendly and harsh manner. The menu is extensive and the food is good, home-style. However, it could be a little more for the prices quoted. Of course, everything is becoming more and more expensive, but the price of a bottle of water for 8.50 pieces of silver for 0.75 liters really upset me.

Food is not good. Over-salted raw beans, mashed potatoes from the bag. So almost everything is metro and thawed. Employees are squeezed together in the main store in front of all the guests. We will not visit again. I had forgotten about the long waiting times.

The restaurant itself is very nice, but the size/quality of the portions did not correspond to the high price. Service was mixed (one waiter seemed extremely annoyed, the other was even friendlier). There are better restaurants in Chemnitz.

The ambience is beautiful, the many small details!! In addition, former relatives lived on the first floor during GDR times! The food was good but nothing worth going out to eat for. The prices were a bit too high for us. The service was fine!! It doesn't take much and there's nothing left to complain about! You just have to do something with the menu! If you dare to do something and everything is ok, you won't win any new guests with good home cooking!!

Eight of us had dinner at the Schlossmühle on Saturday. The food was great and the price/performance ratio was also right. The service was very courteous, open-minded and friendly. Always making sure that every guest is satisfied. Thanks to the whole team.

Incredible!!! We were with you for the second time today, after having felt very comfortable the first time, but today surpassed everything. The waiters were GRANDIOS, especially the sporting performance (2nd floor) was not to be despised. You could really tell that the guys love their job. The food was super tasty and delivered in an absolutely great waiting time despite our large groups and full house. We'll be happy to come back, thank you for this great evening!

We were very satisfied with the staff, the delicious food, the quick service and always a smile on our faces. Very child-friendly and despite the stress, the waiters are extremely calm and accommodating. Highly recommended and we will visit again.

We had made a reservation and immediately said that we would come with a walker. All the tables downstairs were occupied. We then took a stair lift to the first floor. It's all pretty hectic because it's so cramped. Drinks came quickly, food took half an hour. The fries were not edible and were too dark. The rest is mediocre. Got a small note when paying. Fl.Sekt to make up for it. The service was very friendly .

Good food, friendly but sometimes difficult to understand staff

I had brawn with fried potatoes and salad. The fried potatoes weren't cooked all the way through and the salad was as cold as if it had just come from the freezer.

This historic restaurant near the castle pond is ideal for lovers of good food, hospitable service and historic walls. I know this friendly service from southeastern European countries. We were served with wit and charm.

Very tasty food. Friendly staff who also conjured up a pancake clown upon special request. This was hit perfectly even though it is actually no longer offered on the dessert menu.

Angenehm ist es, hier bei sommerlichen Temperaturen draußen zu sitzen zu können. Der Service ist freundlich und schnell, das Essen (hier besonders die Bratkartoffeln als Convenience-Produkt) hat Reserven nach oben.

Wer es gemütlich mag, ist hier genau richtig. Schaut mal vorbei, es lohnt sich. Ich habe mich gefreut, dass es hier zu einer großen Auswahl an warmen Gerichten auch Hackepeter gab.🤗

Schönes Fachwerkgebäude, Speisekarte umfangreich mit deutschen Gerichten, Schwerpunkt Wild, alles was man sich wünschen kann.

Wir sind durch eine Jugendweihe in das Restaurant eingeladen worden und schon damals hat der freundliche Kellner nicht nur gutes Essen, sondern auch mit Witz und Charme viel Freude und Lachen an unseren Tisch gebracht. Danke dafür. Da ich nicht mehr in Chemnitz wohne kommen wir nicht oft , aber auch bei unseren letzten Besuchen war das Personal sehr aufmerksam und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch besagter Kellner lief immer zur Höchstform auf und brachte uns viel Freude. Das Essen erscheint auf den ersten Blick etwas teuer, die Portionen sind aber sehr üppig und auch der Geschmack ist sehr gut. Somit ist dann auch der Preis gerechtfertigt. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Schönes tolles uriges Ambiente. Über 3. Etagen verteilt. Freundlicher, netter und zuvorkommender Service. Speisen und Gerichte sind gut. Gute Auswahl an Gerichten. Vegetarische Gerichte möglich. Essen schmeckt gut und wird frisch zubereitet. Preislich etwas gehobener, zum Teil nicht nachvollziehbar. Gericht "ZWEI Entenkeulen": es ist nur eine Keule auf dem Teller. Tolles Lokal.

Sehr uriges Restaurant mit tollem Personal und schmackhaften Speisen. Einziger Minuspunkt ist das enge Treppenhaus. Für Gehbinderte ist es nicht so komfortabel.

Hohe Preise, schlechte Qualität.

Das Essen hat mich leider nicht überzeugt, mega viele Nudeln und ein winziges Stückchen Lachs und das für 23 €. Die Bedienung hat sich Mühe gegeben, aber kam nur sehr selten an den Tisch um Bestellungen aufzunehmen. Der Garten mit der Beleuchtung ... war sehr schön.

Im Biergarten haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und das Essen war sehr gut. Einsame Spitze war aber der sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Kellner. Er hat uns fachkundig beraten und hervorragend bedient.

Schönes Restaurant mit sehr gutem Personal, gehen gut auf die Gäste ein. Essen ist auch sehr gut. Service 5 Sterne+, kann ich nur empfehlen.

Das Essen war mega lecker und wir wurden überaus freundlich bedient. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
