Were sitting outside because it's on the street and sidewalk and there's no real privacy, it's not really comfortable. The waiter was extremely overwhelmed and we waited 15 minutes for the memory card. Beer 🍺 didn't really get cold after 30 minutes. The meal took just under 1 hour. Was very disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. I can do it better at home. Never again.

A place to feel good, very nice ambience, very friendly service, great cakes to choose from. I would be happy to come back next time I visit Hamburg!

The decor is a bit quaint. But since June there has been a new owner who has brought a breath of fresh air into the restaurant. The restaurant has a children's menu, cutlery, art supplies and even a variety of children's books, so both kids felt very comfortable. We were spoiled culinary here. There were home-baked breads with butter, hummus and salt. As an amuse: cauliflower “muesli” with apple sorbet and white truffle clay. Followed by marinated goat cheese, smoked heather trout, tenderly braised ox cheeks and Wiener Schnitzel.

The atmosphere was excellent and the food was good. Bit of a strange experience at the end of the evening when paying. The server rather awkwardly insisted on leaving a tip. The bill was also incorrect, with poor communication we just left it as it was.

Delicious food at a good price-performance ratio with good service. Definitely recommended. For me this belongs in the category of home-style food. 😃👍

Siamo stati bene in questo ristorante ottimamente posizionato sotto la "Colonnade" nel pieno Centro di Amburgo; il locale all'interno è molto carino ed i tavoli ben distanziati tra loro, cibo gradevole e prezzi adeguati all'ambiente. Volevo dare un giudizio più basso per via del mio piatto sbeccato ma la considero solo una svista e l'ho fatto notare alla Cameriera senza che incidesse sulla mia valutazione complessiva.

Yesterday was the first time with our small group for our traditional goose dinner at the Brunnenhof inn. The separate room that had been prepared especially for us was beautifully decorated for Christmas and our table was beautifully set. Beforehand, we all treated ourselves to a wonderful wild consommé. The first goose was then carved in front of us and it smelled fantastic and tasted fantastic. The geese were tender and juicy yet had crispy skin. The side dishes consisting of roasted Brussels sprouts, great red cabbage, chestnuts, potato dumplings with buttered crumbs and last but not least the cranberry compote, of course the great sauce, just fantastically tasty. Despite the lack of staff, which was also noticeable here, the boss and his employees were so friendly and always willing to listen to the guests. It was a lovely and successful evening all round. We would love to come back.

Very friendly waitresses combine a very good customer approach with Hanseatic charm with good service even when the house is full. Friends of good home cooking will get their money's worth here. The price/performance ratio is right here and no matter whether it's burgers, schnitzels or other dishes - the cuisine is convincing across the board. We always enjoy coming here.

I sometimes ride my bike from Marienthal over the Boberg dunes to Ergedorf. On the way back I take a break in the Dorfkrug. The food is very good and the service too. I can only recommend the place.

We were at the wrong time....hoping for a cozy atmosphere and unfortunately we came across several groups....so it was loud, hectic and not that comfortable... The service was okay....

It's a shame that the Eichtalrestaurant is closing.
