Unfortunately, no new tenant has been found and operations will initially cease at the end of July 2024. Nevertheless, our salads were excellent and the waitress fought friendly as a lone warrior with a swollen hand. Thank you for the lovely evening !

Super good food, very tasty and everything freshly prepared. The best and first mascarpone cheesecake I have eaten. We were 40 guests at a funeral service and everyone was very satisfied. Thank you for the opportunity to say goodbye to our loved one with you.

Not very inviting from the outside, but inside, it's small, elegant, and cozy, with friendly, attentive service. A really good schnitzel. The salad dressing is also very tasty, and the salad is fresh. Very good value for money. I can really recommend it.

looks quite traditional and typical, you can grab a 1l amazing beer, get some food (i didn’t order anything so can’t judge the food). the personnel is not the nicest and most helpful i’ve seen in my life but it’s acceptable. a lot of space inside, huge, clean bathrooms

Mediocre chain restaurant with little customer focus I visited the pub on a Thursday evening. I was waved in at the entrance but not seated. So I sat down at a free table. After 10 minutes, instead of a menu, I was asked to sit at the table next to me with a few other people - my table was reserved. This process was repeated with several guests after me. The burger I ordered arrived on a tiny plate and was still sitting in my stomach at 2 a.m. If you serve finger food like burgers, you could wipe the tables with disinfectant after each guest. That should be reasonable at €23 for a burger and a beer.

We spontaneously dropped in one Saturday without a reservation and were "lucky"! We visited often over 10 years ago and had fond memories of everything. Back then, the prices were higher than usual, but the quality and value for money were absolutely justified. Unfortunately, that has changed dramatically. We wanted to sit outside, but we were told that the terrace only served drinks. An hour later, it was apparently possible for other guests. We thought that was a real shame. For starters, we had the onion tart with cheese and the wild garlic dumplings with velouté, both €15 each. My wild garlic dumplings were perfect in terms of craftsmanship and taste, and the price was also fair and justified for an appetizer of this quality. Unfortunately, the onion tart was the complete opposite. The flavor was very bland, actually just very sweet and sometimes bitter where the sugar was burnt. The puff pastry tasted of nothing, and it didn't improve with the cheese either. We felt ripped off in a truly cheeky way with the main courses. We had knuckle of pork for €29 and veal liver for €31. The menu didn't list any side dishes for either dish, but we didn't give it much thought because many restaurant side dishes aren't necessarily listed on the menu. My partner was asked if he wanted mashed potatoes, which he said yes. I wasn't asked. The veal liver for €31 came with two slices of liver, one apple ring, one spring onion, three carrots, and sauce. The knuckle of pork for €29 was really small, with just red cabbage and sauce, no filling side dishes, and they charged us an extra €5 for the mashed potatoes!!! The liver was almost unseasoned and partly raw, and the mashed potatoes were also almost unseasoned. The knuckle of pork was juicy and crispy, but really half the size of the usual. With a bill of almost €120, we left the restaurant hungry and grabbed something to fill us up on the way. Conclusion: Tourist rip-off, value for money is no longer there. You don't even get a free slice of bread here. We know the wholesale prices and what the products cost to buy, and then such small portions and no filling side dishes – very outrageous and no longer authentic Berlin cuisine.

I had a lumberjack steak. Aldi quality. Very fatty cartilage... The very loud background music suited the age group of the staff, but not the customers. The menus are definitely past their prime. You don't really want to touch them. A real shame. The quality and ambiance don't match the price. It could definitely be better.

Small but nice. This not really hidden, but easy to miss gem in Berlin Tegel really enriched our Boxing Day. You can't really see the space offered inside from the outside. A rustic coziness quickly gets you in the mood. The really generous and tasty portions did the rest. In my case, juicy goose and duck meat with delicious side dishes (Martin plate) or the Swabian plate (Spätzle, Maultaschen, pork fillet, cream mushrooms). The service was always friendly and present. The prices are quite reasonable in the price/performance comparison.

There is good beer and good service. The menu is not very extensive. Recommended for a beer evening with some solid food and good service.

We were totally pleasantly surprised. I'm from Bavaria, and until now, I've always found Bavarian cuisine in Berlin to be rather poor. The food looked a bit different than what I'm used to, but everything tasted absolutely delicious. We had the schnitzel, cheese spaetzle, roast pork, and Kaiserschmarren. Everything was absolutely delicious. By far the best Kaiserschmarren I've had in Berlin so far.
