It was a lovely last evening in Berlin for us, with delicious food and good service. Half portions were also offered for the kids at a fair, reduced price.

Too pricey for what is offered.

The worn furniture makes the whole place so cozy ;) The food is great, the service is attentive, and the stairs to the men's restrooms alone are worth a visit ^^ I think it's awesome!

Overpriced beer, €5.50 for a 0.3l draft. On the plus side, the ladies' restrooms weren't filthy even late in the morning. Friendly waitstaff.

Absolutely fantastic! Beautifully rustic. Very friendly staff. We've been here twice this year and will gladly come back again next year. We're tourists from the Harz Mountains.

Outside it was self-service. For us, it was just a place to relax and have a drink. The beer hall certainly has more to offer and, due to its size, is also well-suited for groups.

The atmosphere is fantastic, especially during big matches. The food and service are excellent. Despite our mistake of misinforming the waiter, they changed our order without charging us. It's not about the money, it's about understanding :)

Good food at somewhat higher prices. However, this is probably due to the location.

This was the only German food restaurant we could get into at short notice on a Friday night. The place is huge and quite spacious. The food is basic but large portions and perfectly acceptable. The service was professional and friendly.

We had a meal and drinks here. I didn't leave a tip when I paid, which wasn't appreciated. I thought the price I had to pay was high enough. We've been here before, but I won't be going back. I've never been treated so rudely.

A very traditional beer hall (under various names) with regular live music. Still a great atmosphere! A true piece of former West Berlin! Also ideal for relaxing and watching live football matches! There might be a slight shortage of staff during peak hours, but they work incredibly hard and efficiently, just as you'd wish for everywhere! A special mention goes to the friendly bartender with the gorgeous blonde hair! She manages to pour beer and prepare other drinks at unbelievable speed, while still always having a kind word and a smile for the guests. No visit to Berlin is complete without stopping here on Kurfürstendamm for a beer or two!

This is a nice ‘pub’ … food we had was nice, service was good, some staff have more personality that others, only to be expected really. An easy place to wind down after a busy day. 👍🏼

A good place for watching football. Food was just decent and the servings were large. Good selection of beers as well. The service from the young waitresses was excellent, given the crowds that were in. Prices are in keeping with the location. Overall a good experience and I would visit again.

Hello, I was there today. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious, especially the fries, which my son really enjoyed. The food is Berlin/German cuisine. The drinks were also tasty. The restaurant is quite old and quaint, but a bit noisy because it's so large. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. Highly recommended.

A sports-themed beer garden, everywhere you turn you'll find a screen showing a sporting event and a football team scarf. A noisy place frequented by long tables of friends. It's hard to spot a single woman. Our only flaw was our waiter: after we pointed out that he'd handed us the wrong change, he apologized, explaining that he's bad at math. We'd never encountered a waiter with dyscalculia before.

We stumbled upon this place by chance while strolling around the city. It's a kind of pub. We had potato soup with smoked sausage pieces in it and goulash. We didn't like the soup, not because it wasn't good; I wasn't thrilled with the combination of soup and sausage. The goulash was very good and plentiful, spicy but not overpowering. The price was fair (given the prices here). 7 for a Jägermeister seems a bit high, but everything is much more expensive than here.

The service and atmosphere were okay. I would describe it more as a tourist trap.

The Alt Berliner Biersalon on Kurfürstendamm is really nice! The beers and drinks are very good, and the staff is friendly. It was extremely crowded when we visited – although we did arrive late for the start of the game. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was great fun, and we'd love to come back!

We ordered a Käsespätzle, but we got pasta with tomato and walnuts instead — definitely not what we ordered. Nobody told us that they didn’t have the right ingredients, which was really disappointing. We were looking forward to trying the real dish, so it was quite a letdown. We’re attaching a photo — you can judge for yourselves if this looks like a Käsespätzle or not.

The food arrived after over 60 minutes. Unfortunately, it was all deep-fried. Why it took over an hour is beyond me. The restaurant was very crowded after an NFL game, but something like this shouldn't happen in a Berlin restaurant.

Great place, good selection of drinks... perfect for getting completely wasted. The outdoor seating offers top-notch Berlin entertainment in 5D, and inside there's live football in HD :) ... all in all, the beer hall is paradise on earth!

A real brasserie. A fantastic atmosphere during the televised matches. The waiters and waitresses are truly delightful. Hot snacks, typical German and/or Berlin dishes, or simply a soup—don't hesitate. The same goes for drinks; you'll find what you like.

The servers seemed to have designated areas, and even if I made eye contact with them, they wouldn't take my order unless it was from that specific staff member. And even when I ordered from someone else, they wouldn't bring my menu. This seems to be a difference from Korea. However, the food and beer were both delicious. I went there for the beer, so I was satisfied.

Hooligans were ranting until 2 a.m. today. I was just about to go downstairs with more adrenaline than blood in my veins. Suddenly, there was silence. I then called them and they denied everything. They claimed the back windows were closed, while from above, I could see the open windows in the courtyard. If that happens again, God help you.

€7 for a Berliner Luft shot? At these prices, could someone have warned you?! That's a disgrace for small shots, even on the Ku'damm! If you calculate what the shop spends on the bottle (€8.00) and then charges for it (0.4 cl for €7), that's a margin that would take the breath away from any gullible person and tourist. Not recommended, unless you want to drink ONE overpriced beer!!!

A very nice restaurant with an outdoor area and a very spacious interior. The service is friendly and helpful, and the prices are typical for the Kudamm.

If you're looking for a quaint, authentic Berlin pub, this is the place to be. Super friendly waitress "Mina," and guests are both Berliners and international. The atmosphere and ambiance are simply fantastic. Prices are reasonable despite being on the Kudamm, and the drinks selection is excellent, with a variety of beers, wines, etc.

I was just there for a beer. Nice location.

We sat outside for 15 minutes and weren't served. Then I went inside to ask if it was self-service, and the waiter's reply was that they serve you outside, but if it takes too long or it's too busy, you should go to the bar yourself to order and pay for your drinks. Then I looked around, and there were two waiters just standing around with nothing to do. The place was half empty, and there were empty glasses outside, and the tables weren't being cleared away. It's a good way to save yourself work and scare away customers, but you don't make any money with this kind of service.

I was on a trip. The worst dinner I've had this year, the potato salad was disgusting. The pumpkin cream wasn't creamy, and it didn't taste like pumpkin. I highly don't recommend it.

I had dinner with my family and friends on Saturday evening. The food (schnitzel and goulash soup) was unimpressive, and we rated it below average. On the positive side, the Czech beer was excellent. Unfortunately, the live music was far too loud and disruptive. It seemed that no one in the restaurant was particularly interested, yet the band kept playing regardless.

Love this place because of the sports screening and the atmosphere. Today while watching the Eurobasket Final I tried a food there for the first time, the chicken wings. They turned out to be gone bad, the smell was doubtful and as my son and I came back home, both of us had a food poisoning

I was back in Berlin after a long time and ate there again. The food was delicious and didn't take long, even though it was busy. The service seemed a bit stressed, but wasn't unfriendly. I would definitely eat there again.

Yes, a lovely outdoor spot on Ku'damm. I've known the place since 1974! Whenever I'm in Berlin, I always get a beer there—sometimes two. 😉

The only good part is the food. It's simple and it's nice. Though not so cheap. But the rest is bad. The waitress in "biersalon" can't answer question about taste of beer on menu (is it more into sweet, o more into bitter side? - I don't know, I don't drink beer). And the are only a few beers on the tap. And whole beer menu has only big, casual brands.

Ordered the Pork Schnitzel with Salad and Chips. Schnitty was juicy asffffffff and I have no idea what they put on the salad as dressing but it was addictive. Beer was fresh and tasty and the outdoor seating watching people walk by was a new and welcome experience. Waiter was an older man who was very polite and made the experience awesome. Recommended if you have some down time with the friends. Some people may openly smoke so keep that in mind but the outdoor area is highly ventilated so it wasn't a problem for us.

Great staff and good sports bar atmosphere. Food was fantastic! (Had the Schnitzel) Drinks were on point and the staff was attentive to our needs when we finished our drinks. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to eat German food and beer.

We ended up here by chance after a stroll along the Kudamm. The weather was great, and the four of us sat outside near the cinema. The young waitress was super friendly, attentive, and quick. We were able to have a normal conversation, but that might be a bit more difficult right on the street due to the car parks. Drinks and food were delicious, and the price/performance ratio was reasonable. We enjoyed it so much that we went there two days in a row.

I have been to Berlin 10 times and always have some beers here a lazy afternoon after the museums or having a night cap. Great location to just sit down outside and watch people, Porsches and Ferraris passing by. The service is usually good. Never tried the food.

While in Berlin, I chose this bar thanks to the recommendations of the Routard and I was not disappointed. I was able to drink my first Berlin beer under the guidance of a very friendly and funny server. I recommend it

What can you say about the oldest beer hall in Berlin other than PHENOMENAL

Not recommended. The waiters were arrogant and downright unfriendly. The restrooms were dirty and unclean. Even though it wasn't busy, we were only given a table if we ordered food. It's incomprehensible. There are plenty of other places to visit on Ku'damm where you'll be welcome. Never again.

After an afternoon of wandering around Berlin, we visited this beer salon for a bite to eat and a drink with four of us. Orders were taken fairly quickly, and drinks were on the table in no time. The food was served after about 15 minutes and was good value for the price. So, nothing special, but a nice place to sit and have a bite.

Eight of us went there for a few drinks. Excellent service, everything was great.

A typical old Berlin beer hall. A large hall with an interesting atmosphere. We were there in the afternoon; there were only a few customers. Even so, it took a while before we could place our order. I had coffee and cake. The coffee was okay, but the cake was probably from a factory, and I paid €6.00 for it. I won't be back.

After the Robbie Williams concert, we walked across the street from the hotel for a nightcap. It was a pleasant location with its own charm. Berlin, after all. We didn't eat anything, just had a few drinks.

The restaurant is centrally located with a great view of the lively street life. We enjoyed cold beer, a glass of wine, and some warm tacos – all tasty and relaxed. The atmosphere was vibrant and authentic, and the location makes it a great place to take a break and soak up Berlin. Overall, a good experience

The food menú has been minimized since the pandemic. I've been going for 54 years and was disappointed with the selection. Not sure if some things like pork schnitzel are still fresh. No more Weiner schnitzel, bratwurst platter, etc. The ambiance is the same. Still a pleasure to sit outside on the large terrace, enjoying a beer and watching the activity on the Ku'Damm.

Family dinner. Four different dishes, all excellent. Simple but flavorful cuisine. Generous portions. Fast, efficient, and professional service. Typical German brasserie decor, very pleasant atmosphere.

We sat there for a long time with our teenagers (boys) and enjoyed the evening!!! A very friendly waiter gave us excellent service. The kids had fun watching and filming various "hot" cars. Whether Ferrari, Lamborghini, MC Laren, Jaguar, special BMW, Mercedes... They were kept busy and we had a lovely evening! It was amazing outside. Unfortunately, no one was sitting inside due to the warm weather. Nice rooms that I know from Düsseldorf or Cologne... The restrooms in the women's area... well!!!! The first restroom didn't have a lock. Unfortunately, the wall with the doors opposite was swaying because they were no longer connected to the side walls. Disaster!!! There are also extreme bumps in the floor tiles that could cause people who aren't completely sober to trip.

The food isn't particularly good, but unfortunately, it's quite expensive. We had the cheese spaetzle, which tasted like it had been briefly warmed up from the supermarket, and the roast chicken, which was far too dry. The drinks are nothing to complain about. It's a bit noisy outside, but that's to be expected at this location.
