ROCA in Berlin

A special meeting requires a special location. There were delicious cakes for every taste, the cappuccino was excellent and the service was so friendly and accommodating. It was so pleasant to stay at Café Roca. Thank you very much ✰ シ

Great service and great restaurant management

We’ve been coming here for years and it’s been the default place where we take friends that visit Berlin. Over the last year and a half or so, the food quality has significantly declined. Staff and atmosphere are still great. But something is going on in the kitchen. Even the red velvet cake isn’t as red anymore. Meanwhile, prices have increased, portions have gotten smaller and the menu has become more complicated.

We've been there several times for Eggs Benedict with champagne. Yesterday everything was exceptionally good, very good food and absolutely professional, friendly service!! We had mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary, so at the end there was a small cake with "Congratulations" chocolate chips. THANKS!

By far the best red velvet cake in Berlin

Except for the quality of the food, this restaurant is unfortunately not worthy of its price range. The service is friendly, but extremely unprofessional. First of all, despite having a reservation and the shop being half empty, we had to wait an impressive 50 minutes for our starter. It then took another 20 minutes until the main course, which was advertised to us as the daily dish 'Dorade'. However, we found a large piece of octopus on our plates, including a tiny piece of sea bream - not a side dish. We told the waiter that we didn't order this and that we didn't like octopus. We were then offered a side dish free of charge, which we accepted. However, this only came another 20 minutes after the main course was served, which meant we had long since finished the sea bream and couldn't eat a full meal in one go. There was no real apology for this, the staff didn't really seem to care. In many other price ranges I would have forgiven this, but in the upscale area as a guest of the Waldorf Astoria I find such service to be an impudence and I will definitely stay away from this restaurant in the future.

Ich war mit meiner Partnerin und meiner 2 jährigen Tochter da wurden erst herzig empfangen dann haben wir 15 Minuten auf die Karte gewartet, ohne dass uns ein Wasser angeboten wurde. Das war dann der Zeitpunkt, als wir gegangen sind. Beim gehen wurden wir noch nicht einmal verabschiedet, geschweige denn, dass es eine Entschuldigung gab. Zu dem Zeitpunkt, wo wir da waren, war es freitags 13:00 Uhr kein Hochbetrieb. Extrem schlechter Service.

I loved the space and the setting I'll come eat there one of these days

When you visit this type of restaurant, you expect truly exceptional food. And it turned out to be a unique restaurant with not-so-special food. Everything is going in the right direction here, but details still need to be worked out. For example: buratta with tomatoes and grilled peaches is very good, but there are too few peaches and this tasty mousse. Similarly, the Caesar salad, generally good, but there is too little dressing, you eat practically dry lettuce. Unfortunately, the beef steak was also not 100% good, rather average. The downside is that until 4 p.m. you can't eat anything other than bagels or a poached egg with various additions. Nothing hot. The service was very nice and helpful. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere.

Mega good lunch menu, variety of flavors in a very skilful composition.

Food: Carpaccio not completely convincing. Beef fillet very good. Drink: very good and large selection especially when it comes to wine Service: attentive, competent and friendly Ambiance: very nice and harmonious.

Made a reservation online and the restaurant canceled it without even calling me. When I arrived they said they were overbooked so they canceled me. It was for a business lunch so they put me in a terrible position with my clients .

Delicious food, but the ambience somehow doesn't match the price.

We weren't particularly hungry when we came here, so we both ordered things that weren't too heavy. My gazpacho was to die for, light and tangy and not too spicy. My orecchietti was curiously tasteless, but it could have been my lackluster appetite. Service was attentive and friendly. The desserts looked wonderful, but neither of us had space in our tummies.

The food was good but not outstanding. The service could be improved that day. Questions were asked frequently and then suddenly many things were canceled.

We were at Roca on a Sunday afternoon. We know the hotel and the bar, as well as the Roca, very well as we all live nearby and wanted to have an afternoon snack/lunch. It should be said beforehand that we often stop/stay overnight in this category, but unfortunately our experience this time was extremely disappointing, confusing and even annoying. It was explained to us that the menu at the weekend at this time consisted exclusively of Eggs Benedict & Champagne and that otherwise only some of the counter display was available. We saw things on the menu like Caesar Salad with Egg Benedict or Beef Tartar Egg Benedict for €29 each. We ordered the Egg Benedict with Caesar Salad and the Egg with Tartar. What then laughed at us on the plate was downright cheeky. A corner of pretzel, barely bigger than a fist, containing an Egg Benedict and the aforementioned Caesar salad. The chicken in the salad consisted of a thimble-sized portion, as did the tartare in the other dish. This pricing is crazy. Of course you eat at the Waldorf Astoria. But on the one hand, the menu is very confusing because champagne can be ordered at the bottom, but the prices for a roll, let's call it, are really ridiculous - since you can hardly order anything else. No further alternative was suggested. It's a shame, after all it's a 5 star hotel. We won't be coming back. That was a bit too cheeky for us. When we asked what it was like, the service team just laughed and laughed away.

From a restaurant perspective, it is the best service I have ever experienced

Went there for a Sunday brunch. I have had better Eggs Benedict in other places in Berlin. Service was non-existent. They just delivered the food to the table and disappeared. We had to wait around 20 minutes just to get the bill and that too after having to ask a couple of different servers to bring us the bill. At one point we wanted additional cutlery but there was no one around. It was shocking to witness no one check in on us during the whole meal. Absolutely awful service.

Very nice. Not a very large menu. The products offered are expensive. But it's worth it. The food is very good 👍.

Super nice staff, beautiful restaurant and one of the best salads I had for a very long time! You can pick from a variety of options and choose your own selection of salads. Awesome!

The ROCA offers first-class food and great service. We had the beef fillet and the salmon, both dishes were excellent. The service was very friendly and quick.

Best red velvet cake in berlin,friendly service too

We had lunch at this restaurant today because of a big birthday. What initially seemed likeable unfortunately later turned out to be forgetful and chaotic. All orders simply took too long, despite the fact that the restaurant was fairly full. We were offered champagne on the house because we were traveling with a birthday child - they were very friendly and really attentive. A nice gesture! But then it started. First we ordered the starter: 4 salads to share - 4 salads came, but 1 of them wasn't ordered. So I complained and then the right salad arrived relatively quickly. Afterwards we were asked whether the main course could be served. This happened twice... We had to request our glass of champagne, which we had ordered at this point, a second time. Unfortunately, the restaurant team completely failed when it came to dessert. After the dessert, we had ordered cake, still didn't come after 30 minutes, we asked for the bill. Oh wonder: the cakes were of course on the bill. When I suggested that the dessert could be canceled entirely since we were still waiting for the cake, the waiter rolled his eyes and corrected the bill. When I was paying, apparently I didn't tip enough, and was told that there weren't enough staff, I couldn't help but smile tiredly. This is certainly not due to too few staff, it is due to absolute mismanagement. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't convince me. Exclusive location, exclusive prices, but no exclusive service, which is what you can expect at this hefty price! May there be more staff in the near future so that this is no longer a challenge.

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The waiters were unattentive and the food took forever to get to my tables. We waited an hour and a half to get the food. It’s eggs and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for god’s sake - how difficult can it be ? Clearly very difficult front the looks of it. Honestly wouldn’t recommend this to anyone

We stopped by this place by “accident”, looking for a place to sit down for coffee and cakes. We were a bit uncertain if it was ok only to order cakes and coffee, so we asked the staff. It turned out not to be any problem. The staff was very friendly and took well care of us. There were not many guests in the restaurant. The cakes tasted very nice! We highly recommend both the cakes, service and place. Would love to be back.

Were with four people, 12/30/23, around 3 p.m. in the restaurant. Unfortunately, very bad. service overwhelmed at about 15. Guests, capchino was so thin, returned, forgot the cola we ordered, piece of cake for 8 € just embarrassing! Tip, go to the cafe on the 6th floor in the KDW and the price/performance ratio is great! The Roca Restaurant is on Hardenbergstr. 28, located in 10623 Berlin. In this respect, the aforementioned restaurant, in the Waldorf Astoria Berlin, is located in the middle of Berlin's lively city center. The atmosphere is good, service was okay, but the food is bad. The burger was 27€. I’d expect a lot out of a burger that costs that much. The patty tasted like it was boiled in water. The cheese, onion, and BBQ did not taste good. Cheese was low quality. The fries seemed like something you’d buy in the frozen food section at the grocery.

Personally, the prices were a bit too high for me. The nice staff and the quality made it a little better again.

The light, the furnishings and the music are simply well coordinated - really beautiful. We had a bit of bad luck (early in the evening) with the very nice but obviously overwhelmed staff, but we all have to start somewhere. #gifted Salad and soup were very tasty. The price level is of course a little higher due to the location, but in the overall package it's okay (as long as you can afford it).

Roca is a first class restaurant with a quiet cozy atmosphere. The service is very friendly and extremely helpful. If you want, everything will be explained to you in detail. The food is of excellent quality. Everything is cooked to perfection. The time between courses is perfectly coordinated. Thank you for this lovely evening. More will follow.

Some years back I visited Roca and wanted to try it again. The service is usually very good, but like last time they could forget one, it took quite a while for me to get the check, so I had to ask for it twice. But otherwise the service was really good as it is to be expected in a place like this. Although their eggs benedict is what you should come here for, I went for the pancakes. They were tasty and oddly enough served with maple syrup, butter and bacon is quite the combo. Only thing that was a little unsatisfactory was that I found the pancakes were slightly undercooked. The tea was really good and almost perfectly brewed. Only issue was that it got cold in the pot a little to fast (as the start temperature probably was on the low side).

I expected more, unfortunately there was no breakfast, pastrami, the meat was good but the baguette was too hard, softer bread would be better. Something is missing, maybe music and something simpler in the menu like Caesar salad to simple steak. Menu is too expensive for such small portions that don't taste that good.

Pathetic! Overpriced garbage! Spare yourself the agony!

Wir waren am Donnerstag spontan im Roca essen. Wir kamen ohne Reservierung zur 3 mit Kind und wurden vom großen blonden Herren Super herzlich empfangen. Leider gab es keine Kinderkarte, was für so einem Unternehmen sehr schwach ist. Jedoch hat uns die Kellnerin Paulina super Alternativen geboten. Der Service war einwandfrei und auch das Essen war sehr lecker jedoch waren die Kartoffeln sehr salzig, was jedoch Geschmacksache ist. Im großen und ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden. Beim nächsten Berlin Besuch gerne wieder!

We have eaten at Roca before and thought it was okay. However on our last visit it went to okay to fantastic. Friendly staff and really tasty food. Everything has seem to improved and looking forward to our next visit.

Wenn man hier mit dem Essen fertig ist, wird einem klar, warum das WA einen neuen Küchenchef sucht. Essen ist insgesamt unterer Durchschnitt und zu dem überteuert. Nettes Ambiente und freundlicher Service.

We have waited 30 minutes for two plates that never arrived! One bottle of water 9 euros! Avoid this restaurant

Not exactly great. The food which was delivered did not meet the expectations raised by the description in the menu. For example I kind of expect Lobster in a Lobster-bisque, not something which looks strikingly similar to a tiger prawn. Also, when I see beef tartare on a menu I do not expect to receive a sandwich with about 50g of ingredients being spread between 2 slices. Very expensive and very disappointing. not recommended.

For what it actually is - it’s way overpriced. The Benedict brunch is not mediocre at best. Cold running sauce. The waitress was unable to explain how the “creations” work. This place used to be nice and it’s really sad what it became. Currently can’t recommend.

Stopped in for some food after checking out of the Waldorf Astoria. I ordered soup to move things along, but it took nearly 30 minutes. I hurried to pay but did not have a chance to eat the food I bought because the service was so slow. If time is not a factor it may be a fine place to eat. The ambience is alright, and it’s in a good location. Not somewhere I could recommend. The rest of my experience at the hotel was positive. This was a pretty frustrating end to the trip and a waste of £15 on food I didn’t receive in time to eat. Overall, it’s just a few Euros lost and not the end of the world, but I certainly expected more. Perhaps I had a uniquely poor experience.

First, the good: - The surf and turf Benedict was wonderful. The steak was wonderfully cooked and tender. The shrimp fresh and delicious. The hollandaise sauce was also very nicely done. It was served on a filo dough biscuit that suited the dish nicely. - The champagne being served was also quite nice. Sweet and floral, but not cloying. Now the bad: Unfortunately where they fell down, and judging from the other tables I saw around me I was not alone, was the pancakes were nearly hockey puck dense and firm. At 18€ for three very small pancakes they had better be great pancakes. Instead it seemed as though the chef had forgotten baking powder, and as a result it had no fluffiness. It is a huge quality control issue when every table you see leaves and the pancakes are left nearly untouched. (We saw one table with 10 guests leave 5 pancake plates with only a bite or two taken from each plate.) I would expect a higher quality standard in a place like this. The waitress attempted to make up for it with a couple macarons. Expensive macarons since I still ended up paying for the pancakes. Quite good though despite essentially being 9 euros each. The interior of the restaurant was clean, stylish, and a bit too warm temperature wise. The staff was friendly, but somewhat inattentive. Overall I would return for their Eegs Benedict; but would steer clear of their fixed price menu.

Ich war am 4. April mit meiner Frau und zwei weiteren Freunden im ROCA zum Morgenpost 5 Gang Menü. Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch hinten im Restraurant mit einem super Blick auf die Kirche. Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und gut geschult. Wir hoffen, dass es nicht das letzte Morgenpost Menü ist im ROCA. Weltklasse!

Wir waren zum Morgenpost-Menü Im ROCA und haben den Abend sehr genossen. Das Essen der fünf Gänge war sehr schmackhaft und toll angerichtet. Da wir keinen Alkohol trinken, gab es zu jedem Gang eine alkoholfreie Alternative. Diese wurde genauso „zelebriert“ wie der jeweilige Wein - schönes Erlebnis. Wie schon geschrieben war das Essen eine schöne Erfahrung aber der Service war einfach großartig. Freundlich, aufmerksam und extrem kompetent beschreibt den positiven Eindruck eigentlich nur zum Teil - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team des ROCA.

Ich hatte reserviert für 18 Personen . Wir hatten uns sehr auf diesen Nachmittag gefreut. Die Tische waren null dekoriert , total lieblos . Das Personal war zwar freundlich aber umkompetent und es dauerte ewig , ehe man bedient wurde . Es wurde nicht abgeräumt . Man hatte den Eindruck , der Kellner war den ersten Tag dort.Der Raum wirkte nicht , kein Ambiente für so einen geschichtsträchtigen Ort .

Gutes Restaurant mit gehobener Küche allerdings sehr viele Touris die gerne laut sind 👎🏻 aber Bedienung war super freundlich 👍🏻

We were hungry when we were checking into the hotel. It was raining outside, so we opted to stay in to eat at the restaurant. The restaurant seemed like a cute little bakery place when we entered through the doors. We were greeted right away and everyone was very pleasant. Ordered the lobster bisque and the beef tagliata. The lobster bisque was a deconstructed version of it. The broth was dark like a French onion soup, diced tomatoes, and three pieces of lobster. The soup was warm to taste. The lobster was not fishy and bite sized. Overall the soup was just ok. Maybe I'm opinionated and just used to have a tomato based broth. The beef tagliata was not what I was expecting. The food was warm again and definitely sitting out until other tables got their food at the same time. We waited at least 30-40 minutes for the food after our soup came out. I was so hungry at that point that I ate the food right away. The food had some decent flavor, but it's definitely not what I was expecting. There was a mention of truffle for this item as well, but there was no truffle flavor/oil or truffles on the dish. I was hoping the food would be too notch considering it is attached to the Waldorf Astoria. This place was quite the disappointment. At least the staff was pleasant enough.

Das war der Wahnsinn! Noch nie so eine zuvorkommend freundliche, aber gleichzeitig authentische und unaufdringliche Bedienung in einem Restaurant erlebt. Wenn doch alle Servicekräfte in diesem Land so erstklassig geschult wären… Das Essen war mit das Beste, was ich in dieser Stadt gegessen habe. Bravo!

Waren an unserem Jahrestag dort und es hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Belegschaft war freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer zur richtigen Zeit am Tisch. Das essen war super (Wildschwein und Beef tagliata) und die Portionen waren angemessen bis großzügig. Kommen gerne bald wieder.

Der Koch kontrolliert nicht das rausgegebene Essen. Es kann nichts werden, wenn er kalte Bechamelsosse über den Tost kippt.

Great location, good view The interior is nice and neat, lacking the character, giving the hotel vibe. Food I had was quite bad. Coffee is mediocre, and being overpriced - 5eur for Americano with a 3eur normal price in Berlin as of Jan 2023 makes it even worse. Thr Lemon meringue tart looks nice, but offers you raw dough for 8eur. Service is just fine.

Das Roca (leider nicht mehr, in Anlehnung an die ehemalig nahegelegene Institution, romanisches Café) ist stets einen Besuch wert. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht, die Auswahl an Kuchen, Torten und warmen Speisen ist ansprechend. Die Qualität ist hoch, die aufgerufenen Preise sind dafür mehr als angemessen. Mir gefällt das Konzept sehr gut - dass man sich hier Gedanken macht und ein gutes Auge für Details hat, ist offenkundig. Das Interieur ist (wie im restlichen Haus) ausgesprochen ansprechend. Ob für Nachmittagstee, Kaffee und Kuchen oder Lunch - insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Mir sind beim Vorbeigehen die wunderschön dekorierten Fenster aufgefallen. Kurzentschlossen bin ich auf einen Kaffee reingegangen. Eine gute Entscheidung. 👍

Ich war neulich zum Kaffee bei Ihnen und muss sagen, dass ich aber auch von ihrer besonderen Fenster Dekoration ganz begeistert bin. Eine echte Entdeckung – bin froh, dass ich reingegangen bin. Sind sie neu? Waren mir vorher gar nicht aufgefallen. Empfehlenswert und immer wieder gerne. Super lecker und toller Service; und übrigens mega Fenster! Setzt wirklich ein Statement – ich hatte das Roca vorher gar nicht auf dem Schirm. Wow – wunderschön, eure Fenster-Deko; fällt positiv auf. Endlich mal kein Weihnachts-Wahnsinn. Bin gleich mal reingegangen und war positiv überrascht. Sehr lecker!

Sind heute zu unserem 10.ten Hochzeitstag hier gewesen, dass letzte mal vor drei Jahren. Was soll ich sagen, dass Ambiente, die Musik, das Personal super freundlich und Hilfsbereit. So wie wir es vom „Roca“ Team gewohnt sind. Macht weiter so, haben das Lunch sehr genossen. Zum Schluss gab es noch einen Prosecco, very tasty. Das Essen hat sehr gemundet, aber Bilder sagen mehr als Tausend Worte.

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant mit kleiner Aussenterasse. Habe geeisste Melonen-Paprikasuppe als Vorspeise gewählt. Diese war auch sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Das Kalbsfilet mit Fragola und Pilze als Hauptgericht ist absolut empfehlenswert. Mir hat nur grünes Gemüse zusätzlich gefehlt. Es waren nur 2-3 Tische belegt. Es hat etwas Atmosphäre gefehlt und ich denke, dass die Gerichte insgesamt zu teuer sind. Dafür habe ich einen Stern abgezogen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Restaurant gehört zum Hotel Waldorf Astoria (was den einen oder anderen evtl. etwas abschreckt), aber man kann dort auch separat Essen gehen. Auch ein Cappu mit Kuchen am Nachmittag ist möglich. Die Preise sind etwas gehoben, aber meines Erachtens absolut berechtigt. Wir hatten aber in diesem Fall einen Gutschein von Groupon, aber das interessiert (im positiven Sinne) niemanden. Ich hatte ein Drei-Gang-Menü mit weißer Tomatensuppe als Vorspeise, Maispoulardenbrust mit Schupfnudeln/Kartoffelbrei als Hauptgang und zum Nachtisch eine süßes kreatives Stückchen. Alles köstlich, man konnte à la Carte aussuchen. Absolute Empfehlung! Sind gerade in Berlin und gehen auf jeden Fall noch auf einen Cappu und ein süßes Stückchen vorbei.

Kein besonderes Ambiente. Essen ok aber Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht. Auf der Rechnung wurde 2 mal das selbe essen unter einem anderen Namen abgerechnet. Haben das Geld aber erstattet bekommen ohne das der Kellner das nochmal kontrollieren wollte 🤔

Service super bis zu dem Moment, ab 21:00 Uhr die Küche aus heiterem Himmel schloss, obwohl der Service wusste, dass ein weiterer Gast zum Essen kommt, ohne auf uns aufmerksam zu machen. Dann wurden wir nett nach oben zur Bar, wo „70% der Karte“ uns weiterhin zur Verfügung steht, gebeten. Woraufhin wir auf Nachfrage ein „Nein, das stimmt nicht“ erhielten, zusammen mit der Antwort: „Typische Hotellerie - Sprache, die wollten euch einfach aus dem Restaurant haben.Tut mir leid.“ Sehr unprofessionell und ungeschultes Personal für ein 5 Sterne Luxushotel.

Nice hotel restaurant at Waldorf Astoria Berlin. Everyone would find something according to their individual taste preferences.

Excellent service, really kind staff always try to help and solve the main problems that the customer will be satisfied, really tasty and fresh food, you can also just sit down for a quick coffee, I would be very happy if you could do something to improve the dishes came out a little faster ... שירות מעולה, צוות ממש אדיב מנסים תמיד לעזור ולפתור בעיות העיקר שהלקוח יהיה מרוצה, אוכל ממש טעים וטרי, ניתן גם לשבת רק לקפה מהיר, הייתי מאוד שמח אילו הייתם יכולים לעשות משהו כדי לשפר שהמנות יצאו קצת יותר מהר ללקוח...

Achtung nur TAKE AWAY Bewertung! Das Roca macht an Ihren Fenstern Werbung für Take Away, was mich dazu verleitet hat, die Karte außen näher zu betrachten. Sehr verheißungsvoll sahen die Salate aus, also rein. Innen eine weitere Werbung: Lunch! Salate mit Wasser! Also den Kellner hinter der Bar angesprochen und erfahren, Salate seien aus und die Karte außen sei die alte, das gäbe es nicht mehr. Auf der neuen Karte, die er mir sehr freundlich reichte, gab es allerdings zu allererst Ceasat Salat! Also Ceasar Salat und Avocado Bruschetta zum mitnehmen bestellt und ein Leitungswasser zum Warten. Ich empfand die 25 Minuten Wartezeit, als fast einziger Gast recht lang. Was mich doch stark verwundert hatte und etwas geärgert war jedoch eine handschriftliche Rechnung und 1,50 € für Berliner (Leitungs-) Wasser und das bei einem Angebot für Salate mit Wasser. Darauf angesprochen hieß es wieder, es gebe ja keine Salate, finde den Fehler! Auf dem Hotelzimmer angekommen, zugegeben etwas auch mein Fehler, keine Serviette, keine Gabel und Messer. Allerdings optisch und geschmacklich absolut hervorragendes Essen, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Der Gesamteindruck für das Erlebnis kann dann aber trotzdem nur 3* sein. Sehr schade, es wäre so einfach gewesen 5* zu bekommen.

Erg jammer. Een simpel gerecht als entrecote was niet te verkrijgen. De bediening is te geforceerd en commerciel en toetjes konden we niet krijgen omdat de keuken dicht was (21:01). Als ze dit nu vermelden bij binnen komst..Wel wil ik vermelden dat t eten lekker was.

Preis Leistung stimmt hier leider absolut nicht. Ich hatte das Entrecôte medium-rare bestellt und bekam nach über 40 Minuten warten, ein komplett kaltes und durchgebratenes Stück Fleisch. Die Beilage war leider auch nicht besser und weder gut gewürzt noch frisch. Sehr enttäuschendes Erlebnis.

Wie immer: Exzellentes Essen, sehr freundlicher und professioneller Service. Wir kehren hier öfter ein, ob nun als Hotelgast oder als Besucher. Dieses mal hatten wir ein Club Sandwich und eine Auswahl aus der Auslage (grüner Spargel und super zartes Roastbeef). Dazu Limonade und anschließend noch ein Stück Marzipan-Haselnuss-Torte und einen Espresso Macchiato. Selbstverständlich freuen wir uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Sehr persönlich und ein Erlebnis. Der Sommelier Olli nimmt dich mit auf eine Reise, die es insgesamt mit den hervorragenden Weinen ein Erlebnis ist, kombiniert mit dem herrlichsten Essen, ist der Tag und der Abend zu ein Märchen geworden. Ein komplettes Geschmackserlebnis.

Very tasty surf & turf. This name is used in multiple other restaurants but Roca is the winner for me. The lobster was very well prepared, not overcooked, not too dry, easy to get everything out of the shell. My friends had burger and Currywurst and they were happy with the meals. The service was good but a bit slow.

Byli jsme ubytování ve Waldorf Astoria a v Roca restauraci jsme měli večeři. Mohli jsme si vybrat ze tří chodů. Jídlo bylo velmi chutné, obzvlášť jehněčí. Obsluha byla velmi milá. 👏⭐️

Super Atmosphäre - wir waren zu Kaffee und Kuchen da. Einfach lecker und absolut zu empfehlen!

NULL Sterne wäre passender weil NULL Kundenservice und Charme wie man es in ahnlichen Hausern dieser Kategorie normalerweise gewohnt ist....

Leider ist die Luft hier draußen. War früher mein Lieblingsspot für einen netten schnellen Business Lunch. Ich komme nicht mehr, und werde u kann es auch nicht mehr empfehlen.

Achtung! Extrem schlechter Service (die Tagesgerichte wurden nur auf Nachfrage genannt, der „Gruß aus der Küche“ ohne Erklärung abgestellt, der Herr wurde zuerst bedient, Getränke werden nicht nachgeschenkt, …), der die Erwartungen keinesfalls erfüllen kann. Das Essen ist lecker und auf besondere Art und Weise angerichtet, aber bei dem Service ist das Roca absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Man fühlt sich als Gast nicht willkommen und wird einfach geduzt. Da hat Berlin besseres im Angebot!

Sehr, sehr schlecht!!! Wir waren am 22.02.2022 dort und der Service war extrem nett und freundlich. Aber schon als das aufgebackene Brot ankam, hatten wir unsere Zweifel, die sich dann auch bewahrheitet haben. 4 Gemüsestarters, die von der Qualität her nach nichts geschmeckt haben oder vom Vortag waren. Der grüne Spargel war total durch gekocht oder gebraten und war dadurch total labbrig. Die Tomaten Mozzarella haben nach ready-made Supermarkt geschmeckt. Die Krabben mit Ei haben nicht frisch sondern eher aufgetaut geschmeckt. Im Beef Tatar war viel zu viel Essig oder Senf drin, sodass man den Eigengeschmack des rohen Fleisch gar nicht wahrnehmen konnte. Dazu zwei Gläser Champagner, der nicht genug gekühlt war und zwei Cappuccino. Alles zusammen 113 EUR! Für das Geld erwartet man eine andere Qualität. War so sprachlos und verwirrt als die Rechnung kam, dass ich in dem Moment nichts mehr sagen konnte. Kein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Nicht zu empfehlen!

Delicious brunch - surf and turf benedict was splendid

Unfortunately I bought a voucher in October 21 for the Restaurant, but we could not eat there since it was closed the whole time because of corona. ROCA itself told me its absolutely not a problem to redeem an expired voucher, so I asked again to eat there after the voucher expired and the restaurant was opened again. They said, they will NOT accept expired vouchers anymore, but I can buy the same one again with doubled price :) Not gonna buy anything of ROCA again.

Mega leckere Torten, sehr aufmerksames Personal.

We had a birthday brunch for our friend. To start with, the service was very sluggish as they seemed to forget our orders while we were waiting for dishes to come for nearly one hour. Also they didn't seem to have a dedicated waiter for us as I saw 3 different waiters. In terms of food, I was happy with my greed bowl but my friend had a very small bowl of Sukshika (Tomatos with eggs) ,which looked like a side dish rather then a main dish. They also forgot to bring any bread so I asked for her. In general, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

We ordered tomato essence soup, scallops and tartar. My sister also had their scrumptious velvet cake. Waldorf Astoria Roca features friendly staff and exquisite cuisine.
