Lindenbräu at the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin

We were in Berlin for a musical and spontaneously decided to go out for some dinner. The service was excellent, the food was super delicious, and the beer and lemonade were also good. The atmosphere is really cool, with the back part resembling an alpine hut, with a thunderstorm-like effect. Very nice, I would go again. In the summer, it would also be very nice outdoors or on the roof terrace.

First night in Munich and wanted to eat authentic German food. Lindenbrau did not disappoint. Good beer menu; I had a Hefeweizen (2 actually) that was really good. I had a tasty turkey salad and my wife schnitzel that was really good. The winner was leberkase had by my bother in law and his wife. It was so good we contemplated going back again tonight. Good service,good food, and good beer. Highly recommend.

Recommended yes 👌but the sanitary facilities are a complete no-go 👎

The service was very friendly and accommodating, and we also found the atmosphere appealing and cozy. However, the quality of the food did not convince us on our Berlin weekend. The next day we had a very tasty home-style meal in German or Berlin style in another Berlin inn, so looking back we got the impression that the Lindenbräu was more of a pub for tourists who don't know how delicious home-style food can taste.

We visited the Lindenbräu for a bachelor party. The waiter who served us was super friendly and relaxed, and the rest of the staff were also very friendly and open-minded. The food here is more than convincing, this definitely won't be our last visit. Here you actually get quality for your money, you are top! Please continue in the same way.

Even one star is too many!!! We were here with a group of 40 people and the food was cold for 2/3 of the group. Alternatively, it was not possible to order a vegetarian dish. Apparently something like that wouldn't work in such a big kitchen. Hospitable is definitely something else!!!!!!

Simple atmosphere, but ok. The food still has room for improvement, but it was good. There was nothing wrong with the service. A bit expensive for what is offered.

After a long time we decided to go here to celebrate. They have Delicious German food and great service. I have enjoyed the beer and food and nothing to complain about. I will definitely go there again.

We got a table even without a reservation, quick and friendly service, the food was delicious, but a little higher due to the location. Ideal for tourists :D

Rude and annoyed servers. Didn't even filll my beer to the top and blatantly ignored me whenever i called them. The apfelstrudel was the only good thing we ate ordering 5 different dishes. The locals were rude, too, and loud. There's many better places to go to, and much better beers to drink.

Very good Beer. Zwickel highly recommended. Service a bit tricky as we sit outside but we're not spotted and had to came inside for to order.

Service was not friendly. If you order water, be sure to indicate that you want a small or large bottle. Changing was accompanied by a loud sigh.

I had a wonderful dining experience tonight, thanks to Rishi, who provided excellent service and was very attentive throughout the evening. The main dishes, especially the fish and Schnitzel were delicious and well-prepared. However, the soup was a bit too salty for my taste. Overall, it was a great meal with outstanding service. I would definitely come back again!

A fantastic restaurant and apparently a mini brewery. Non-alcoholic beer, delicious, but a bit too expensive. Although the place is atmospheric and certainly prestigious, it is not a price-friendly place. However, it is worth going there once in a while. It's very nice and the service is nice and quick. I recommend!

I used it for lunch. The service staff were friendly and the lunch was enjoyable. German-style cutlets and curry-flavored sausages are great with beer!

Great schnitzel and alpen schnitzel (with a tasty and savoury mushroom sauce). I didn’t appreciate the siders, it was a potato and cucumber salad and overcooked pasta spatzle. I forgot to ask if it’s possible to replace it. But we came for the schnitzel, and it was very good. Nice to sit upstairs by the window, to enjoy the view on this interesting building.

Bavarian tavern in a shopping center, very fair food, carrot beer but very friendly service.

Hui on the outside, yuck on the inside. Bad working conditions for the staff and it shows. Employees are swapped around depending on their mood, replaced and shown the door without justification. Mass processing. Both with the guests; as well as the staff.

We were here for the first time about 2 years ago and were thrilled, but today we were completely disappointed! Don't go there again. It's no longer quaint at all and there are small portions at exorbitant prices.

A German restaurant inside Sony Center. It's relatively easy for one person to enter. It was good that the food was served quickly. The taste was delicious.

One of the most beautiful places in Berlin. There is a lovely atmosphere in a newly built mountain chalet. The staff is very attentive and very nice. The food is exceptional and comes in very large portions. It's an inexpensive restaurant.

It is recommended to drink a beer or two and eat something with friends. If you like romance and peace, this is the wrong place for you. The service is on the ball and has everything in view.

The restaurant is located in a central and panoramic area. Bavarian food is great. The service very fast and professional. The bathroom is nice, well furnished and clean. We will definitely be back.

My friends and I had dinner here on the evening of December 31st. I had a curry wurst, excellent! My friends had goulash, schnitzel and cheese pasta (we don't recommend the latter). Wide choice of both food and drinks. Delicious strudel. Generous portions and normal prices.

Mi hermano gemelo y yo estábamos explorando el maravilloso Sony Centre cuando decidimos pasar por Lindenbrau, un gran bar de cerveza que siempre esperamos visitar en cualquier vacación que tomemos a esta fascinante ciudad. Un bar cervecero de gran aspecto ubicado en un par de pisos, interior y magnífico, estilo berlinés muy tradicional, cubas de preparación prominentemente en exhibición, gran decoración y mobiliario y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este bar cervecero tanto en el interior como en el exterior, además de una terraza exterior en la planta alta con vistas al hermoso Sony Centre. Estábamos aquí en una mañana de diciembre amargamente fría, brewpub acababa de abrir, pedimos una cerveza estilo lager, estos se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones siendo helado frío y espumoso, nos relajamos y empapamos de la gran vibra en este concurrido y popular brewpub mientras bebíamos nuestras cervezas. Mi cerveza era muy buena, una cerveza crujiente, bien equilibrada estilo lager rebosante de sabor y muy fácil de beber, especialmente cuando se sirve helada fría como en este bar de cerveza. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestras cervezas aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cualquier otra visita a aquí nos lo pasamos muy bien. Linden es fácil de localizar en el Sony Centre en Potsdamer Platz. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a domingo, abierto de 11 a.m. 30 am. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

I was there twice and both times I was disappointed with the service. I can agree with the other reviews about the unfriendliness and listlessness of the staff. However, the food was very tasty and, apart from the somewhat cramped and rather uncomfortable chairs, the ambience was good.

Delicious food, good selection but rarely experienced such unfriendly and annoyed staff. The spritzers and lemonades feel like they consist of 90% water. Nobody cares about good service here. The only good thing is the chefs!

Food off the shelf, everything cooked to death from mass production. Unfortunately, only the name has anything to do with beer, there is no home-brewed beer on the tap, just the usual suspects.

We spontaneously reserved a table on Christmas Day. The service was very friendly, the food came quickly, the beef goulash with potato dumplings and red cabbage was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was also good. We'd love to come back.

The meal was delicious and the service was very relaxed and friendly - even though the hut was packed, no one seemed rushed or stressed. The weather experience that takes place alongside the moving image is funny.

Very unfriendly staff. They try to trick you and if you talk to them normally and nicely, they make fun of you. I've never experienced anything like that. Wasn't respected as a woman either!

Almost the only restaurant in the center at Potsdamer Platz (which is probably the name of the Sony Center now). At least one that has been there for years. Unfortunately, the area is more of a large construction site. What used to be a lively destination, is now very dreary. The otherwise quite nice Lindenbräu also suffers from this (Berliners and Berlin tourists seem to have a certain preference for breweries). And there are certainly nicer ones out there right now.

Nice atmosphere, you feel very comfortable. We were pleased with the delicious dishes and good Bavarian beer 🍻. At the entrance we were greeted by an employee and kindly invited inside. We really really enjoyed it! And in the evening of the same day we came here again to have dinner. I would like to note the factor that the establishment is quite clean. There are no characteristic odors in the toilet. The restaurant itself is located on several levels and from the window there is a magnificent view of the New Year's decoration of the building and the promenade. There is a large car park downstairs. Parking is not expensive, 1.5€ per hour. Nearby is Potsdamer Platz, where there is a large traditional Christmas market with the main attraction for adults and children - a winter ice slide. Also within walking distance of all the main attractions of Berlin.

A good place to try German cuisine. Cons can always be found, but there are more advantages. I would love to visit again. I recommend it.

Great location. You are greeted with Bavarian charm and immediately feel at home in the wooden, hearty ambience. The service is extremely friendly, the food comes quickly, and the portions are generous. Quality and price are okay.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu einem fairen Preis. Trotz der vorweihnachtlichen Fülle flotter und netter Service. Abstriche muss man beim Ambiente machen. Die Tische stehen eng beieinander und es ist sehr laut und ungemütlich. Dafür ist es auch nach einem Kinobesuch abends noch möglich, am Potsdamer Platz lecker etwas zu essen.

Es una excelente cervecería y restaurante con un aspecto tradicional con zona de estar en la planta baja y primera. Hay muchos accesorios interesantes y grandes opciones de asientos en todo su interior y cuando fuimos aquí estaba empezando a estar muy ocupado. Hemos visitado aquí un par de veces a lo largo de los años y es tan bueno ahora como cuando fuimos aquí hace muchos años. Es una visita obligada para mí y mi gemelo y como había un mercado de Navidad también era un destino obligado para nosotros dos Cuando visitamos aquí tuvimos unas copas de cervezas excelentes que eran excelentes como siempre y a un precio justo. No tuvimos una comida ya que acabamos de comer algo en el mercado de Navidad. Es una excelente cervecería y restaurante en un entorno impresionante y bien vale la pena visitar como es esta zona. A really great evening at Lindenbräu. The food was really excellent, but what I have to particularly emphasize is the service from our waiter Ayhan. He was extremely courteous, friendly and made the evening very special. He even implemented the countless special requests to our complete satisfaction. All in all, we can only warmly recommend Lindenbräu! Even our last-minute change of appointment was no problem at all. Top! Keep it up!!!

It’s a good place but their food wasn’t good enough

Portions are large. The menu lacked beer snacks. The skin of the pork is very tasty and crispy, but the meat turned out to be dry, the side dish was very lacking in potatoes, there were potato dumplings next to it, which were very ordinary... Vienna's schnitzel was tasty, juicy, but the side dish was unacceptable to us, as I understood cold potato salad or something similar. Chicken pieces in a pan with potatoes and onions - homemade, rustic food :)

A nice pub/South Tyrolean style place located in the Sony center. The tables with windows are beautiful so you can observe the Christmas decorations outside. The waiters are not the most friendly but efficient: I had booked in my name and when we sat down at the table designated by the card, he was kicking us out thinking we weren't us and it was difficult to make him understand. Very good food, we took a trio of local sausages and goulash accompanied by potatoes and polenta, the desserts were also very good. Low price.

I was there for the company Christmas party. The buffet was rich, very good quality and the beer selection was extensive and tasty. The only thing that tore the event apart was the division over 3 floors. However, for a private visit this should have no further meaning and I would be happy to come back.
