Busy busy spot but always dependable.

It was very tasty and the staff were really friendly and loved children. Portions were ok, kept on the smaller side. The alpine pasture at the back was cozy and had fun “effects”

Food was just ok. Nothing special.

I know the location from before Corona and was thrilled back then. The food and service were great but the ambience was lacking. Tables are simply too narrow in the upper area. We were lucky today that it wasn't fully booked, otherwise dining would have been very, very tight. I have the impression that it has more mass than class. Please change that, it's annoying when you sit almost on top of each other.

It was okay overall. Typical German and Bavarian cuisine, but unfortunately there is no Bavarian beer here, which is what I would have expected with such a cuisine. What I didn't like was that when you paid by card you were informed whether you wanted to tip or not.

A happy evening, very humorous staff, we including the children were thrilled.

The food is mediocre, one of the waiters was very rude and rude to us. He puts the plates down abruptly, looking super annoyed: zbam! wurtz, zbam! wurtz, zbam! schtrudell, zbam! schtrudell.. Zbam, zbam, zbam...

Nice atmosphere. Food was good especially the pork knuckle. The rest were just Ok nothing great.

Nach einem Konzert kamen wir spät als Freunde in einer Gruppe von ca 20 Personen. Wir fühlten uns wohl, rasche und freundliche Bedienung, Essen ordentlich, Preise moderat.

I was there twice, one waitress, I think Julia, was very committed but the rest of the staff was absolutely listless and seemed dismissive. The center is currently being remodeled, so perhaps this will be a recommendation again after the remodeling and with new staff. Good organic beer

After I had a bad experience at the competitor Paulaner next door, I am completely satisfied here. Even when the house is full, friendly staff, good food and prompt service. Come back.👍

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Some of my family were there before us in their 90s and had just gotten drinks... Food had just been ordered... Our drink came quickly... unfortunately the food didn't. There was also no service in between... Guests who came after us had already finished eating and left... When I asked, her food would be coming soon... The children were very hungry and tired... When the food finally came, the disappointment, unfortunately only lukewarm... As an excuse for the long waiting time, we were supposed to get ice cream... Unfortunately no one came.... after 25 minutes of waiting my daughter went to pay... No goodwill... full payment... after more than 3 hours... . Never again.....

Saturday evening shortly after 6 p.m., sat outside for 10 to 15 minutes, no one came. Then someone came with a self-service stand. Inside it was just drinks outside. Everything is a bit sloppy.

We've come here on several occasions, thus we decided for another stop over today at lunch with the kids. This place never lets us down: service is good and very fast as well as attentive, not to mention kid friendly. Bavarian food is state of the art and the craft beer is very good -> although the restaurant is in a very central location, they've made sure to provide good food for a good price. If you're with a group of friends go for the 1 metre beer tasting, you won't regret it ;)

One of the best Bavarian/Austrian restaurants in Berlin. It is super tourist, but the quality of the food, the portions and the atmosphere is fantastic. They also have the best Kaiserschmarrn in Berlin!!!

A nice place with good typical dishes. The price is right. The bathroom for this room is large and small and is not looked after at all.

Staff told us we can sit anywhere but made us wait almost an hr but never came to take our orders despite us getting their attention and told us to wait while they serve other customers there. Not a good place to try German food if you’re Asian.

The food was super tasty. German cuisine simply tastes good!!! The only thing that could have been a little more sauce was the brewery pan. The service staff work diligently to serve all guests quickly and in a friendly manner. The equipment still leaves ideas open. I found the seating very uncomfortable.

After visiting a theater we drank a beer or Berliner Weisse here.

The taste of food did not meet my expectations!

Praise to the entire team. Has everything under control; always courteous, even when many guests come and go. We were looked after by Julia, always friendly and with a smile. A special one among the best. We'll be back.

I used to love the Sony Center and spent a lot of time there. Cinema, Alex, good food. I went there again, the last time and since it was raining I wanted something to eat and it hit the brewery. Food is completely okay and the currywurst is affordable. Berliner Weisse had one shot too many woodruff. Service was very friendly, but it wasn't busy yet.

Good restaurant! But the last “kick” is missing from the 5 stars!

We went as part of a work dinner. The place was huge, facing directly onto Potsdammer Square. The atmosphere was pleasant and although it was full it didn't feel crowded. As for the food, we asked for variety: From an Alpine snitzel to a more traditional snitzel, including curry wurst and traditional knuckle. All the food was very good. The dessert was not far behind: a kaisersmarn to share that left no one indifferent. In short, a very good experience. I would repeat without a doubt! Highly recommended.

Good German food at an OK price - excellent staff

The food was a very large and super tasty portion. The service was nice and friendly and super fast. The restaurant is only recommended.

The weather in Berlin was unexpected for me, so we went to this restaurant to have a snack and warm up. A typical German restaurant, but with very good service. Our waitress Julia was polite, smiling, spoke good English, and was able to explain the menu items to us. The bill was also pleasing — the prices are reasonable. I will definitely come back again, especially because of the excellent service.

My husband and I visited our favorite restaurant again. This time Julia served us. It's nice that there's finally a waitress. She served us very politely and professionally. She gave us a smile and a good mood. The schnitzel was very tasty, thanks for the recommendation.

Bumped into this place while walking around looking for dinner. Nestled in a modern architecture, it was really vibing with people on a weekday night! The menu is all in german with pictures (you can request for an english one) and we ordered the famous roasted pork knuckle and the spatezel. Though in the eng menu, it's called "dumplings" but no there is no fillings inside. Both dishes were served piping hot, amazing crispy pork knuckle! Though you have to eat them fast before it becomes cool and really hard to chew. Overall, a very good german dinner experience. If you're looking for smth local and authentic, I think this is worthy!!

Already eaten well several times. But why is it only about the food and not the drinks? A home brewery with a good selection of beers. The service is good, quick and sometimes in the mood for a bit of fun. The ambience in this brewery makes you feel good. Beautiful brewhouse and successful furnishings.

A classic German restaurant with currywurst and schnitzel. It was easy to sit there and the atmosphere was casual.

It stays open a little later than other restaurants in the area. The food was actually a good surprise.

Restaurant serving German cuisine, very well located, in the heart of the Sony Center, next to the cinema museum. Unfortunately, the site is still undergoing a lot of work... The service is very fast and efficient, the food is quite good. Please note, for those who would like to charge their phone, the establishment charges €1 for recharging....!

This restaurant is a fantastic place for authentic German food and good atmosphere. We celebrated my birthday there and the meals were generous portions and didn’t disappoint, the drinks were good too.

Large, touristy place that delivers a variety of basic German dishes. Food is not particularly good and beer menu is quite limited, so you would do better at numerous other places in the area. Only came here because we were a large group and someone else had already picked it - I would not go back.

Today we went on a little trip to Berlin and decided to eat an Lindenbräu. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere the right amount of south German. The food is outstanding. You couldn’t make the Schnitzel more perfect if you tried. The potato soup is very tasty and the kids Spätzle yummy and a very good amount. The gravy was also super flavourful.

We had booked a table months in advance. When we arrived, we were given a perfect table for our farewell dinner with friends. However, the employee who was in charge of the service forced us to take another one that was very badly placed. Afterwards the service was disgusting. He spoke to us as if we were disturbing him and threw glasses and plates on the table, instead of placing them properly. When the restaurant began to fill with customers, the noise was deafening. The food was just good, nothing more. We quickly realized that it is a tourist trap restaurant. Finally, when it came time to pay the bill, we waited 25 minutes and finally had to get up and go straight to the cash register, otherwise we would still be waiting. Avoid this restaurant. You can find much better in Berlin.

Pretty ordinary and overpriced restaurant. The atmosphere is rather flat and it's clearly a bit of a tourist trap just off Potsdamer Platz.

Ordered Tiroler Käsespätzle shortly before 11 pm on a busy night - there were many people sitting out. The food was brought out in less than 2 minutes, I was suprised - Käsespätzle so quick! Not only had the Käsespätzle not been freshly made, it had barely been reheated in a microwave. Cooked earlier in the day and just served lukewarm - tasteless and stale. Beer was ok, guess that couldn't have screwed up that too. A popular tourist trap. Be warned!

Very nice bar with lots of authentic berliner weisse options. 2024 autumn and still a lot of construction work going on directly next to the bar so not a place for quiet conversations, although the building(s) and the new floor look spectacular. Cool place, not too pricey.

Given Bill for no reason, even though we didn't ask for it half way though drinking hefe. Guess our money is not good enough here.

I ate zander for 20.70 euros Way too expensive because it didn't taste good. Parsley potatoes tasteless and not enough parsley. Not enough sauce.

Personally, I think Berlin is terrible. However, I still look forward to my visit to Lindenbräu every time. Great food, staff and location. See you next time.

Nice service and very tasty food

We were looking for Berlin cuisine! And we were just here at the Sony Center! Our view a lot of the large balcony! Let's go upstairs! The waiters were super nice and quick. The food was delicious, unfortunately the main course came a little too early after the starter. But well, at least both were hot and freshly prepared! Gladly again!

Went here with my husband and son and all enjoyed our meals. Great food and service! My son had the currywurst sausage, I had Nuremberg sausage, and my husband a sausage sampler. We all enjoyed apple strudel for dessert! Wish we would have had another night to return.

Good location, friendly staff and good beer based cocktails. Place was clean and good view from the first floor seating area.

It's not Germany, it's me, the truth is that it is a normal German chain restaurant, like any other in the area. The customer service is bad, like in almost all the places I visited on my visit to Germany and the beer is spectacular. The most notable thing about the place is that it is located under a spectacular architectural dome and its outdoor tables are covered by this glass dome.

The most important thing is the excellent service, with a polite, friendly and communicative waiter. The potato soup was delicious, good beer, the salad, the Schnitzler and the Strudel perfect. The currywurst are not the best you can have in Berlin, but they were more than worthy. It has a curious gallery of portraits with celebrities who have passed through there. I would repeat, without a doubt

I've really never had such unfriendly staff. It was around 10:20 p.m. Official opening time until 1:00 a.m. As soon as you walked in you were basically disgusted because the boys wanted to call it a day. We're definitely not coming back. Other note: I don't know why, but apparently the Munich sausage salad has recently added peppers. Made the whole thing inedible for me. 😅

Waiters were generally nice, except for one, the one who served us. The cubby and blonde waiter was extremely rude. We are Foreigners so we don’t speak German and he didn’t help us at all. He was impatient and sulky. TERRIBLE PLACE!!! A

Simple, down-to-earth cuisine. Currywurst with fries is delicious. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness of the service. Our service person was called Anja.

Personally I don't like German cuisine, but the food isn't exceptional anyway. Nice place but perhaps too touristy.

After the waiters said they were just chatting for about 10-15 minutes, I asked them if they didn't want to serve us. When my fiancé ordered ice cream, they only served 2 scoops instead of 3. When he asked, he received another one. Unfortunately, there is a lot of construction going on all around at the moment.

The ambience in the Sonycenter is of course outstanding. But that was it for this store. We sat for about 10 minutes until my partner carefully asked for a card. There wasn't much going on at the time. I ordered an ice cream (chocolate miracle?!?) for a whopping €12 from the pack. There were supposed to be three balls, but in the end there were two very small balls... Can happen if you prefer personal conversations to dealing with customers. The heavy breathing when asking someone who can't count to 3 says it all At the next table we noticed that some drinks and some food were missing It is not recommended here
