Really fun place, lots to look at while waiting, the food was great, worth a visit

Unfortunately, no new tenant has been found and operations will initially cease at the end of July 2024. Nevertheless, our salads were excellent and the waitress fought friendly as a lone warrior with a swollen hand. Thank you for the lovely evening !

Magical and delicious, with friendly service. It's like being on vacation with good food. We should have visited much sooner. See you next time.

Food tastes good and the service is attentive.

We were in Berlin for a musical and spontaneously decided to go out for some dinner. The service was excellent, the food was super delicious, and the beer and lemonade were also good. The atmosphere is really cool, with the back part resembling an alpine hut, with a thunderstorm-like effect. Very nice, I would go again. In the summer, it would also be very nice outdoors or on the roof terrace.

Quaint economy in the middle of Berlin

Probably the best beer I have ever tasted in my life. I had the Veal and it was absolutely amazing. My only feeeback is to consider taking AMEX

Wer die HP des Restaurants „Haus der 100 Biere“ liest, wird über die stille Leidenschaft der Küche informiert. War mal wieder vor Ort - schauen, ob das Lob auch gerechtfertigt ist. Wie erwartet… eine große Auswahl an Bieren, aber meine Favoriten sind die bayrischen. Und davon gibt es gute, vom Fass. Kulinarisch eine ansprechende Auswahl von wirklich gut bürgerlichen Gerichten. Hier sollte jeder fündig werden. Am Tisch bei uns hoch im Kurs: Wiener Kalbsschnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat oder Bratkartoffeln, Kalbsleber Berliner Art oder Holzfällersteak. Was soll ich sagen, alles qualitativ super, sehr schmackhaft, Portionen ausreichend groß (man sollte schon Hunger mitbringen) - top. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam, freundlich und flink unterwegs. All in all …. Kann man machen. Empfehlenswert. Ach ja, sollte ich erwähnen: Preise fair, nicht überteuert.

Food okay, but not special. Service nice. Overall, okay but not outstanding.

Small but nice. This not really hidden, but easy to miss gem in Berlin Tegel really enriched our Boxing Day. You can't really see the space offered inside from the outside. A rustic coziness quickly gets you in the mood. The really generous and tasty portions did the rest. In my case, juicy goose and duck meat with delicious side dishes (Martin plate) or the Swabian plate (Spätzle, Maultaschen, pork fillet, cream mushrooms). The service was always friendly and present. The prices are quite reasonable in the price/performance comparison.

Mittmann's is one of the few pubs in Berlin. At lunchtime there are inexpensive, rich German dishes, including a soft drink and a small dessert. In the evening, a rustic pub feeling to drink an after-work beer with colleagues.

Waitress apparently wasn't in a good mood.. dry service and slightly rude. Leberkäs was in the pan for a very long time and the fish was also very dry.

Ordered breast & leg twice at the goose dinner - unfortunately only a mini leg cut in half at the joint came on both plates. The apparent breast was the second part of the leg, joint & bones clearly visible. Called the waiter and he asked in the kitchen - the succinct answer from the kitchen, Mr. Buchholz was personally in the kitchen: that would be a special cutting technique from Mr. Buchholz and he wouldn't have time to come to the table now... Ok, there were only 2 occupied tables, the answer was a disgrace and then the more expensive plate price of breast + leg was charged twice - a bottomless impudence. Just because we had invited our 80-year-old parents to goose dinner on our beloved Gutshof Britz premises and they really wanted to try out the restaurant, we didn't escalate the outrageousness of the kitchen any further in order not to further ruin the mood of the evening. We and our parents will certainly never come back to the Buchholz restaurant!
