Great historic original building, unfortunately it was closed that evening on my hike, but I'm really looking forward to eating and stopping by the good innkeepers.

Price performance OK. Large portions at a fair price. Unfortunately it didn't quite suit my taste.

Everything is freshly prepared, so you should take some time with you. But it's worth it. Large portions, very tasty and reasonably priced. Absolutely recommended.

Reingekommen, nach Platz gefragt, gewartet, gewartet, handzeichen gegeben, gewartet, gewartet und dann nach 20min wieder gegangen. Ob das essen was taugt weiß ich nicht, habs ja nicht gesehen

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the food is only average and not worth mentioning. For the same price, I can get better tasting food at other restaurants. The service is usually very friendly and attentive.

Friendly and attentive service. Food came quickly. Delicious local beer. Maultaschen salad was delicious although was a lot for a starter. Schnitzel was equally good. Nice ambience and good atmosphere. Would come back again!

Restaurant Choco is truly unique! We had the 6 course chocolate menu and were thrilled. We also played the card game (for couples). That was just as funny and you get to know the person you're talking to a little better :p. The service was super nice, the food was delicious 😋 and the atmosphere was great too. PS: You don't have to come here for the 6 course dinner. You can also order normal food. (Please reserve a 6-course menu by phone or email). All in all super nice, gladly again. Full 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Das Restaurant ist gediegen schön dunkel mit Holz ausgekleidet und strahlt fränkische Gemütlichkeit aus. Am Sonntag mittag war es sehr gut besucht und es empfiehlt sich vorab zu reservieren. Mein Schäufele war eher lauwarm und es fehlte die typische Kruste. Selbst für ein Schäufele war das Fleisch eher sehr fett und die Schwarte eher teigig. Die Portion war eher üppig. Die drei Röstitaler und die Dunkelbiersoße waren vorzüglich, gerne hätte ich noch einen weiteren Taler vertragen. Das Altfränkische Dunkelbier war so süffig, daß ich wünschte, nicht mit dem Auto da gewesen zu sein.

Unfortunately not as good as before. The menu was significantly shortened and the food itself was not good at all. One schnitzel was partially burnt, the other two schnitzels were soggy and the tarte flambée tasted like plastic. It's a real shame because the store used to be quite good.

Ambience very loud and uncomfortable. Eating is like that. Hectic staff. I didn't feel comfortable.
