Leckeres Essen, ich hatte ein Cordon Bleu und Spätzle sehr lecker (die Spargetti Bolognese hat aber so garnicht geschmeckt) Nettes Paar das das Restaurant führt. Draußen ist Selbstbedienung, also mussten wir essen und trinken uns Selbst holen. Restaurant ist verältert und Klo ist mittelmäßig sauber. Parken kann man dort allerdings sehr gut

Das Essen war köstlich, besonders das Schnitzel. Großzügige Portionen zu einem fairen bis niedrigen Preis.

Wer bei Google nach „bestes Schnitzel nahe der A5 bei Baden-Baden“ sucht, landet hier. Und das völlig zu Recht! Fantastisch! In einem Reitstall. Nur 4 Minuten von der Autobahn entfernt. Wirklich gutes Essen, faire Preise, hausgemachte Riesenschnitzel. Currywurst auch glutenfrei erhältlich. Super hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Besitzer. Nur Barzahlung.

Suuper freundliches älteres Pärchen. Ich fühlte mich hier gleich Wohl. Der Chef hatte zuerst mit mir humorvoll gesprochen und ging dann gleich in die Küche um mir meine Schnitzel zuzubereiten. Das war eine grosse leckere Portion (2 Schnitzel) und alles selbst zubereitet und nichts tiefgefrorenes. Ich habe den Chef die Schnitzel klopfen hören. 😀 Ich war nicht das letzte mal hier. Die Anfahrt da hin ist etwas doof. Die Strasse ist nur für Anlieger, also ihr müsst da rein fahren. Parkplätze sind genug da. Lasst es euch schmecken.

Was nun endlich bei Google sichtbar - hier werden schlechte Rezensionen stetig gelöscht. Nur so ist der Skale von 4,9 (Stand: Anfang 2026) erklärbar. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist überdurchschnittlich und das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Aber das Verhalten der Betreiber gegenüber den Gästen ist ein NoGo und so wohl auch von allen gelöschten Rezensions-Schreibern so beschrieben worden. Ich verweise auf die neusten 1-Stern Rezensionen von Mitte-Ende Mai 2026. (Dazu weiter unten den Button "Sortieren" klicken und dann auf "Neuste") Die Qualität und Größe der Gerichte überzeugen angesichts der extrem günstigen Preisen und machen somit das zeitweise ruppige Verhalten der Betreiber wett, daher insgesamt vier Sterne.

Der Wirt hat gesagt, das er leider heute nichts mehr macht......aber dann komme ich das nächste Mal gerne wieder!

Sehr lecker, wunderschön, hausgemacht

Nach einer wunderschönen Wanderung im Kaltenmoor wollten wir den Tag in einem gut bewerteten Restaurant ausklingen lassen. Bereits beim Ankommen waren wir aufgrund des Zustands des Gebäudes und der Küche etwas skeptisch, entschieden uns aber dennoch, dem Lokal eine Chance zu geben. Nachdem wir draußen Platz genommen hatten, entdeckten wir ein Schild mit der Aufschrift „Hier herrscht Selbstbedienung“. Also gingen wir hinein und nahmen uns eine ausliegende Speisekarte. Sofort erschien die Besitzerin und informierte den „Koch“, dass wir uns eine Karte genommen hätten. Kurz darauf hörten wir lautstarkes und äußerst unfreundliches Geschrei aus der Küche – wir sollten die Karte sofort zurücklegen, was uns denn einfalle usw. Offenbar hatten wir versehentlich eine „falsche“ bzw. veraltete Speisekarte genommen. Anstatt diese einfach aus dem Restaurant zu entfernen oder freundlich darauf hinzuweisen, wird man dort angebrüllt, als hätte man Staatsgeheimnisse gelüftet. Wir haben das Etablissement daraufhin umgehend verlassen und konnten das Essen glücklicherweise nicht mehr testen. Der Umgang mit potenziellen Gästen war für uns absolut inakzeptabel. Keine Empfehlung unsererseits. PS: Ein Besuch der Gesundheitsbehörde an diesem Ort wäre möglicherweise nicht verkehrt.

Besuch am Montag, 13. April 2026 mittags Am heutigen Tag, wollte ich mittags in der Reiterstube in Muggensturm einkehren. Es gibt auch eine HP, wo man eine Reservierung durchführen kann. Nach dem Absenden der Reservierung, kam die Meldung am Bildschirm: "Vielen Dank für Ihre Reservierung. Wir halten Ihnen einen Platz frei!" *** Nach Ankunft zu meiner Reservierungszeit, waren alle Rolläden unten und die Türe zum Gastraum war abgeschlossen. Somit war es nichts mit essen in der Reiterstube und die Inhaber sollten Ihr Reservierungstool einmal überprüfen, damit der Gast nicht eine automatische Bestätigung erhält, vor Ort dann aber kein Mensch zu finden ist. Persönlich hat es mich sowieso etwas verwundert, da die HP aussagt, offen ab 11 Uhr, bei Google offen ab 12 Uhr und irgendwie ich schon ein komisches Gefühl hatte. So vergrault man die Gäste. Woran es heute gescheitert ist, müssen die Wirtsleute beantworten - ich war da...

Ein ganz besonderes kleines Plätzchen! Ist das ein Restaurant oder die Kantine einer Reitschule? Egal, es war eine angenehme Überraschung. Sehr nette Leute, reichlich gefüllte Teller (und Gläser) und eine sehr faire Rechnung. Keine Haute Cuisine, aber ein herzliches Lächeln!

Wir haben dort sehr gut gegessen bestellt Schweineschnitzel Wienerart mit Spätzle eine kleine Garnitur Salat war dabei alles lecker und reichlich wir werden wiederkommen.

Die location, ist zwar in die Jahre gekommen und etwas wild dekoriert " ABER" Das Essen war super super lecker. Es wurde alles Frisch zubereitet. Ich warte gern etwas länger ,wenn das Essen dann so lecker schmeckt . Ausserdem war das Betreiber Pärchen total freundlich ,wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Preis Leistung geht hier nicht besser . Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder . Danke

Kommen schon länger und immer wieder gerne hierher, weil es immer wieder auch ein Treffpunkt für nette Leute und Gespräche ist. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, Portionen sowie Geschmack der Speisen super, sehr zu empfehlen. Im Sommer genießt man vor allem die tolle Fernsicht und die Stille.....deshalb immer wieder gerne

Waren heute spontan dort, Montags hat ja vieles zu. Trafen dort noch nette Leute aus Norddeutschland die auch spontan da waren. War ein super Abend. Sehr nette Athmosphäre. Gutes Essen sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker! Das Wirtshaus wird von einem älteren Pärchen geführt. Diese sind ziemlich ruppig und leider eher unfreundlich. Auch wenn ich denke, dass Sie es so nicht meinen. Die Location innen ist leider auch nicht der burner. Die unzähligen Schnapsflaschen versperren den Blick in die Reithalle. Schade, dass man sich hier nicht so wohl fühlt, das Essen ist nämlich sehr lecker. Es wird auch Gericht für Gericht gekocht. Was ein verzögertes Essen an einem Tisch bedeutet. Vllt kommen wir im Sommer nochmal, wenn man im Biergarten sitzen kann.

Waren das erste Mal dort durch Zufall essen und haben es auf keinen Fall bereut! Sehr schöne Portionen nicht zu wenig und schmecken tuen diese sooo gut! Es ist wie ein super leckeres Heimisches Essen bei der Oma. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder!

Wir waren auf dem Heimweg über die A5 & wollten Schnitzel essen… da sind wir auf die Reiterstube gestoßen! Es war schon 20 Uhr als wir ankamen, trotzdem wurde direkt für uns frisch gekocht (Schnitzel mit Pommes bzw. Spätzle). Die Gastgeber waren beide mega nett & wir haben uns gut unterhalten. Pro Person 20€ mit riesigen Portionen!

Ein etwas älteres Restaurant mit Charme und etwas Staub. Das ältere Ehepaar, das es führt, ist freundlich auf eine typisch deutsche Art. Das Essen war phänomenal. Es war schön, den Pferden beim Training zuzusehen, während man aß.

My visit was very disappointing overall. In my opinion, the food was of poor quality and didn't seem fresh. The restaurant appeared quite neglected: the floor felt sticky, several areas looked dirty, and even the decor didn't look clean. What also bothered me was that instead of accepting criticism or addressing the problems I described, the term "defamation" was quickly used as soon as negative feedback appeared. As a customer, however, I expect constructive criticism to be taken seriously and not immediately interpreted as a personal attack. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Extremely delicious food and very generous portions! You can tell that it's cooked with love. I can highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys good German food. We'll definitely be back!

Even if your first instinct is to leave immediately, the wait is worth it! While it might not be the most comfortable setting, the delicious and plentiful food more than makes up for it! If you're feeling kind and compassionate, you're welcome to help the elderly couple (who have difficulty walking) – it lightens the mood and you'll experience genuine gratitude. We'd love to come back again 😊

A family-run atmosphere with a view of the Black Forest. A very nice older couple runs the place. I can highly recommend it.

After buying our motorhome, we were very hungry. We arrived and were a little hesitant at first because of the mixed reviews. When the food arrived, all of those concerns vanished. It was incredibly delicious. At the end, the owner even joined us for a little chat. Very pleasant and friendly. And his wife is also very sweet. We'll definitely be back!

Yes, I can recommend it. The food was delicious and the portions were large.

So, what I can say here is that the food is always excellent and everything is always freshly prepared. If you like sitting outside and don't mind the farmyard or horse air, then the place is very comfortable and quiet. The owners are a bit older and not particularly good on their feet, so you have to pick up your drinks and food yourself at the counter, which is also indicated on a sign outside. Otherwise, you can't complain; we really enjoy going there for a quick bite. Thank you very much.

We placed our order while the lady behind the counter cursed, which was a bit disconcerting. The outdoor seating is really nice, though! The food was okay. Next time, though, I'd just order drinks there. Cash only.

I went there with my partner because I was extremely hungry. The couple who ran the place must have changed a while ago, because the two we met were super friendly. We were a bit unsure on the way to the restaurant, as the signs on the streets indicated that you could only drive through with a drive-through permit. The outside area is self-service. The prices are really reasonable, and the portions are huge. We were able to take away the food we couldn't finish. We found it very pleasant to be able to sit next to the horse paddock both in the shade and in the sun. The owner also asked how we were and chatted with us for a bit. We'll definitely be back soon.

At first, we were a bit skeptical about the Reiterstüble. What awaited us was a small, cozy outdoor seating area and a very well-prepared schnitzel. Excellent value for money, too. Thank you very much.

Everything is freshly prepared, so you should take some time with you. But it's worth it. Large portions, very tasty and reasonably priced. Absolutely recommended.

This place is an absolute GEM if you’re looking for authentic, delicious and affordable German cuisine in the area. I typically dont bother to leave reviews but given that the current rating and complaints people wrote almost prevented me from coming here, I felt inclined to take the time and urge anyone to definitely stop by to enjoy really great food and more than that, have a lil conversation with the owners- they are actually super lovely behind the German serious initial impression ;) Please note that the outdoor sitting is self service so you’ll have to pick up a menu from inside and get your food from the counter when it’s ready.

The food was very good and sufficient. Unfortunately, the host couple is very frail and at odds. Therefore a bit unfriendly and tortured, which depresses the mood.

During our stopover for 2 nights we discovered this quaint restaurant at a riding stable. Very good traditional cuisine, everything freshly prepared, tasty, lots of it and good prices. Didn't manage to empty the plate.😢 The picture with the extra fries shows the normal portion.😂 the picture with the bread shows the small portion. Can only be recommended.

Doesn't satisfy any requirement, no matter how small, extremely unfriendly, totally overwhelmed host couple, for whom hospitality and hygiene are obviously a foreign word. Fraudulent labeling of beverages is a systematic practice.

We ate delicious schnitzel and croquettes with mushroom sauce and Maultaschen with potato salad here. The host couple was very friendly. You can look into the riding arena through a large window. Great area for walking. Thank you for letting us stay here with the motorhome overnight
