Nice, small, family restaurant. Somehow everyone knows everyone there and it's rare to find a place like this anymore. I had a good chat with the regulars. There are a few really unique pieces there. Gladly again and the food was delicious too.

Lovely location, very green and quiet. The building has history and stages art exhibitions as well. Nice, cosy guestroom, friendly service and good German-style food, cooked to a higher level. Good wine selection. I had the Maultaschen in Rinderbrühe as starter, followed by Schweinslende mit Rahmegerlingen und Spätzle. The pork loin was one of the most tender pieces of meat I ever had! A nice Williams-Christ after the meal completed a very excellent meal. The one fly in the ointment was that there appears to be a problem with the chimney and the sewers, as there was a bit of a whiff in the air. That needs to be addressed quickly.

Este lugar es el mejor Schnitzel en Heidelberg. Echaremos de menos no poder comer aquí cuando nos vayamos a casa. Tengo a Jager Schnitzel con un pedido extra de spetzel de queso. Muy bien. Haga reservas solo un pequeño restaurante. ¡Recomiendo comprar salsa extra ya que es tan buena!

Cozy restaurant, very nice service, good food, good portions and reasonable prices. The deduction is for the (previously excellent) mousse au chocolat, which unfortunately now has a clear orange aroma, as well as the “tidy decor”.

Super nice, rustic inn with really delicious food!

We have been customers of this place for more than five years. We have always enjoyed the tasty food, but the customer service, especially during lunchtime, is getting worse. It has reached a point where some of the waiters have started using completely unprofessional language (unkind words, shouting, taking unreasonably long times to respond even when the restaurant is empty). More than three times, we had to leave the restaurant after waiting over 20 minutes with no interaction for lunch, no questions asked. Today, after very bad service and good food again :), I am calling it quits on this place.
