Nice staff, but unfortunately the food was obviously convenience food, which you can also get in the supermarket for the microwave in similar quality

If you don't value a well-kept ambience, this is the place for you. Unfortunately there is no service anymore and you have to place your order via the “cash register”. The tables were also not cleared and so the used dishes and glasses from the previous guests were still on our table when we paid. When we were there there weren't enough spritzer glasses and we had to wait over an hour for the simple meal (sausage salad with P. and baked sheep's cheese in tomato sauce). The food itself was ok, the sausage salad was probably cut by myself and the sheep's cheese was also good. So if you're not in a hurry and don't value customer service, this is the place for you...for everyone else, there are plenty of alternatives.

Super welcoming, smiling, patient and kind, the waitress made a lot of effort to understand us and it was delicious the salad the burger the sauerkraut a delight and what can we say about the beer 😁thank you for this great family moment in a place where we feel well decorated in the old fashioned way we love it

Highly recommended. A traditional menu “like before” with everything your heart desires. The prices are moderate and the portions are generous. Since our children have celiac disease and rely on gluten-free food, we were very pleasantly surprised that there was cordon bleu, schnitzel and pasta for us. We also received very good advice in this regard. We'd love to come back there. Thanks.

While sightseeing in Heidelberg on the weekend, I visited with a local guide. As the name suggests, this is a schnitzel specialty store, and they have a huge menu! There are so many variations, from the classics to the slightly unusual ones, that I was having a hard time choosing. But that's also part of the fun. Although we visited with a large group, the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were some people who were not good at German or English, but I felt at ease because I could see photos of the food on Instagram and order by number. Of course, the beer was absolutely delicious, and it was a great way to end our sightseeing tour. This is a tourist-friendly store that you can easily stop by!
