**Experiences with customer service - unfortunately disappointing**
I have visited the restaurant several times, on different days and at different times. Unfortunately, I had the same negative experiences every time.
**1. Rude service**
The employee who is supposed to take the orders is extremely rude and not customer-oriented at all. I experienced a particularly negative example on August 17, 2024. I was there to buy a Manta platter to take home. As soon as I entered, I was rudely told: "It's going to take a while, I can't change it." This statement was repeated several times during the course of my order. When I asked how long it would take, I received a curt answer: "Yes, what do I know, probably 15 minutes or longer. You see, the sausage has to go on the grill first and the fries are still cold. "
**2. Priority for seated guests**
After I communicated that I wanted to take the food away, I was told: "Yes, then you can wait now, our seated customers have priority." However, there wasn't much going on that day, so the stress wasn't justified.
**3. Repeated negative experiences**
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated case. I have had similar experiences on several visits. This is a simple chip shop and not a 4-star restaurant, but the customer service should still be good here.
**Conclusion**
Unfortunately, due to these repeated negative experiences, I cannot recommend eating there. Customer friendliness should also be a given in a snack bar.
The most expensive toilet trip I've ever had. Five euros for the espresso so that you can use the toilet as a non-hotel guest. I know where I will never eat.
While my pork loin was okay, my wife's pork knuckle was warmed up and the sauerkraut unfortunately tasted like nothing. A (quite friendly) service worker worked on two floors and was completely overloaded. Statement: you don't get any workers. Overall not recommended.
Unfortunately, the very good food has a bitter aftertaste: the owner is rude and not very service-oriented. E-mails are ignored or answered rudely, calls are brushed aside. It would be better for him to stay in the kitchen and leave customer contact to others.
The price/performance ratio is completely inadequate. The rooms were cold, completely out of date and we were recommended to get something for breakfast from the local REWE or bakery in the morning. Sorry, but it doesn't fit here anymore.
We almost walked on because it looked closed from a distance. It has a 70s/80s charm. The worst part, though, was the service, even though there were only four tables outside and one inside. It took a long time to order our drinks, and then we had to ask for the bill three times before we could pay. The staff ate inside first. I can't recommend it.
Very cozy and clean restaurant. I love homemade pelmeni :-) The giant schnitzel is a dream... :-) The big hunger is satisfied... Wow, I'm full now. We'll definitely be back. Heike and Birger
The restaurant is a big disappointment! We had reserved a table for this evening 3 weeks ago because we wanted to have a nice meal there on our wedding anniversary. At exactly 6:30 p.m. we find ourselves standing in front of a closed door and everything in the restaurant is dark. Not a single notice on the door or on their website. It was extremely disappointing, that's not how you treat guests.
