Thanks to the Keglerklause, we had a fantastic Father's Day! We received a friendly welcome, everything was explained to us right away, and the drinks and menus were available immediately. Thanks to the new owners, you can enjoy Eastern European delicacies like pelmeni, chebureki, borscht, and the like. And when we were finally served these delicacies, we were amazed: what hearty, generous portions! You can see that the cook puts a lot of heart and love into her dishes. Filling you up and incredibly delicious! We highly recommend the pelmeni, salmon, and chebureki. The fries were also perfect! Four of us had to order them, as we are vegetarian/vegan. It would definitely be nice if there were maybe two or three vegetarian/vegan options on the menu, but that could still happen! Offering something vegetarian/vegan isn't magic these days. :) Otherwise, it would be helpful to include a portion of fries on the menu, as we ordered them ourselves, as they weren't pictured on the menu. That's all there is to say about the food: vegetarians/vegans will be full. If you like meat, you'll be full and incredibly happy, too, because the Eastern European dishes are amazing. There's not much to say about the bowling itself, as everything went smoothly here. The lanes are clean, there are plenty of different bowls, the lane never caused a single problem, and if it gets too quiet for you, the operators are happy to turn on the radio. There's also a folder with various bowling games, as well as a board where you can record these games. The Keglerklause gave us a truly fantastic Father's Day celebration, and we will definitely be back! Even if we have fries with ketchup next time—they were delicious. :D The prices were more than reasonable, too!

Yesterday, three of us visited the Keglerklause restaurant in Bad Fredeburg on a recommendation. The outdoor area is a great place to relax in nice weather. The owners/tenants, who only took over the restaurant a few months ago, are very friendly and accommodating. The menu offers traditional German and Russian cuisine. We ordered a schnitzel, a burger, and chebureki (fried dumplings filled with minced meat). The side dishes, such as fries, grilled vegetables, and various sauces, were perfectly matched and absolutely delicious. The prices for both dishes and drinks are also fair. The Keglerklause is definitely recommended and worth one or more visits!

Super fresh and delicious food. Very nice and friendly owners. Dogs are welcome. Quiet and pleasant location. Cozy atmosphere and quick service. We'd love to come back with our friends.

A really nice little pub, the food is great, original German and Russian cuisine, everything is handmade and the hosts are very nice, absolutely recommended and they also have a nice bowling alley. It's great

The food was great, the pub was decent. Ordered buffet for 18 people, paid for 22 people. There are no bills, the device is pulled out of your hand. When I asked for the bill, the good gentleman became even more rude and cheeky! The tenants were very unfriendly and didn't really know how to run a pub/restaurant. Something is clearly going wrong here. We're definitely not coming back!

We ordered a buffet for 22 people. The food was really great, tasty and fresh. However, communication was a total failure. My mother had called a week in advance to let us know that we were 18 adults, 3 children and a baby. This was noted, but unfortunately completely ignored. The one-year-old baby had to pay the full price of €26.50, as did all the children who don't eat nearly as much as an adult, which is self-explanatory for everyone. Apparently not for the couple who run the restaurant. When we asked for a receipt, we were harshly told that we should have said this beforehand and that it would no longer be possible to print it out (receipt requirement).

Very cozy and clean restaurant. I love homemade pelmeni :-) The giant schnitzel is a dream... :-) The big hunger is satisfied... Wow, I'm full now. We'll definitely be back. Heike and Birger

Well, we waited an hour with an announcement for food, cream schnitzel with fries and salad. Salad very good Dressi👍, fries not cooked through, schnitzel good, strange aftertaste?

The tenants changed 4 weeks ago. A very pleasant restaurant, with a great ambience. The food is first class. The prices are also reasonable. There are 2 bowling alleys. Definitely worth a visit.

We were attracted here by the beautiful terrace. Quietly located away from the main road. Unfortunately there was only one seat cushion for the chairs. The others were locked in a box. Service taciturn and rather unfriendly. A high price level for all dishes. Luckily we only ordered small things because they weren't tasty. Unfortunately, price/performance is not right here.

After a beautiful walk in the wooded area we wanted to have something for lunch. When we entered we were looked at as if we had done something wrong, extremely unfriendly staff. Food was okay. Asparagus was fine, potatoes lukewarm/cold. Flamkuchen turns out to be a pizza from Dr Oetker. Asking questions is not appreciated. The cook regularly licks his fingers while preparing the food and seems to have little sense of hygiene. Do yourself a favor, don't go here! Never again. PS payment can only be made in cash.

The unfriendly staff I have ever experienced. We wanted to eat there, but had to cancel because it was simply impossible there. Absolutely not recommended.

The food was delicious. The ambience was ok. The owner was absolutely the last. I have never experienced such an unfriendly and rude person. It's a good thing the store is closing soon anyway.

Äußerst leckeres Pfifferlingsschnitzel (saisonal), liebevoll angerichtet, guter Service, passt! Hier kommt man beim nächsten Sauerland-Trip gerne wieder hin!

Das stimmt es , da passt alles. Nette Bedienung , man kann sehr schön bei dem super Wetter draußen sitzen. Das Essen war wie vom Sterne Koch gekocht. Danke an den Koch. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Wir haben im schönen liebevoll dekorierten Biergarten gesessen .Service freundlich und schnell. Das Essen war lecker und die Portionen groß genug kommen gerne wieder .

Neugestarter Außenbereich, Service ist gut, das Essen ist geschmacklich gut und gut präsentiert.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant in Bad Fredeburg. Wir waren Abends zum Essen hier. Wir haben im schönen Außenbereich gesessen. Meine Frau hatte den Dreierlei Steakteller meine Tochter ein Kinderteller Max und Moritz ( Schnitzel mit Pommes) und ich das 300 g Steak mit einer Ofenkartoffel. Uns allen hat es sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Mein Steak English war auf den Punkt genau gebraten. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Wie der Name schon sagt ist hier auch Kegeln möglich. Die Bahn sieht ganz gut aus. Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und nett. Ich würde persönlich lieber vorher anrufen und ein Tisch reservieren. Was ich persönlich immer mache um nachher nicht enttäuscht zu sein das man kein Sitzplatz bekommt. 😉

Gezellig, lichte aankleding, aardige bediening en lekker eten (asperges!). Aanrader!

Das Essen in dieser etwas versteckten Gaststätte ist spitze. Allerdings fühlt man sich als Ortsfremder zu Anfang etwas schräg beäugt von den Stammgästen.

Unfreundliche Gastgeberin. Beim Betreten werden wir von den Stammgästen an der Bar weggeschaut. Unser Sohn möchte bei der Bestellung keinen Rotkohl sondern Salat. Das sind dann 6 Euro extra. Tochter bekommt Joghurt auf einem gemischten Salat. Sie haben nicht gesagt, dass sie das nicht will, also zahlen Sie noch einmal. Aber nicht mit EC-Karte, sondern einfach nach draußen gehen, um Geld von der Bank zu holen. Das Essen war gut, aber kleine Portionen. Nie wieder.

Durch Zufall entdeckt . Sehr angenehm überrascht. Nette Athmosphäre , angenehme Gäste und Unterhaltung. Speisekarte prima, Essen auch. Service war sehr freundlich sogar lustig , klasse.

War dort wegen vieler ausgezeichneter Bewertungen. Das super Essen wurde bestätigt, die klasse Atmosphäre nicht.

Selten eine unfreundlichere Wirtin gesehen. Theke und Sitzplätze sehen sehr gut und einladend aus, machen bei der Bedienung dann aber auch kein Spaß und man wird mehr oder weniger mit einer "keinbock-einstellung" rausgeekelt. "Nur zum Biertrinken nicht zu empfehlen"

Da wir Montags dort waren und die Gaststätte die einzzige die offenen war, war es dort ziemlich voll und die Bedingungen/Koch ziemlich überarbeitet. Da der Koch alleine war, dauerte unser Essen gut eine dreiviertel Stunde. Dafür war es aber lecker 😋 😋. Also gut zu empfehlen außer am Montag.
