We finally managed to take a little break in the tuber hut again. Even though it's only 20 km from where we live, you feel like you're in another world. The rustic hut offers a beautiful view and the crackling fireplace creates a homely atmosphere. The menu includes hearty snack specialties and the price-performance ratio is very good. For example, a very tasty pea soup with plenty of ingredients only costs €8. A special thank you at this point to hut owner Ahmet Aytar! Mr. Aytar is a host through and through. We will use his friendly, competent manner and humor as an opportunity to visit the Knollenhütte again soon.

We were here spontaneously on Saturday evening, without a reservation. We were lucky that there was still a table available. We'll definitely be back. We have rarely eaten so well and deliciously. The waiting time was very short and it was a nice evening :)

Super! Spit roast burger is highly recommended.

You can eat well here, but it is such a shame about the staff who only say that it is about money. And that in such a location with both golfers and walkers who like to have a drink and something to eat... that could be much better!

Simply great - I can only advise everyone to take a detour here, it's worth it - just escape from everyday life and that in the Sauerland - beautiful and in every season, and not only guests - locals too - want that... So “happy” all around here... would like to come back.

You first have to find the small town of Ohlenbach and then the Bauernschänke. But... once you've done that, a good atmosphere, nice service and, above all, good quality await you. The map is clear. Beautiful view on top of that. Unfortunately it has been closed for a long time now.

Breakfast in Hellermann's Hut is a real highlight! Everything is prepared with a lot of love, and the many individual little details make the start of the day special. No matter whether sweet or savory – everyone will find something to their taste here. The friendly service rounds off the experience perfectly. Highly recommended!

We have been coming here for years with complete satisfaction. Unfortunately, the hotel has changed its concept. Instead of serving dinner, there is now a buffet. Food is not hot enough and the area where the buffet is located is far too small. The service in the bar is also no longer available, collect yourself. Unfortunately it was the last time for us. Shame.

We were in Bad Fredeburg for a hiking tour and ended up here by chance. The pizzas were very tasty and wholesome. They also arrived quite quickly. We also found the prices reasonable. Would love to come back.
