We were there on September 27th. on the occasion of my birthday party in the A La Carte restaurant. The menu is small, clear and has something for everyone. We received a very warm welcome. After an aperitif we decided on a mushroom carpaccio and salmon trout tartare as starters. I found the tartar to be a bit mild, the kick was somehow missing. The bunch of dill was incredibly aromatic (I mean that completely seriously, it was super fresh). The radishes and pumpkin seeds added the necessary bite. Overall, very well composed. For the main course I had a rump steak, which weighed around 250g. In terms of taste, I'm guessing South America (Uruguay?). I also found the potato gratin lacking a bit of pizzazz - but that wasn't necessary because it came with an incredibly great port wine sauce. I didn't need the herb butter in the supplement, the combination was so delicious. The year-old Bordeaux fit like a glove. After a Crème Catalán and an espresso, we finally went to the bar. What definitely needs to be highlighted is the wonderful friendly treatment. We actually came in jeans and a t-shirt, we were welcomed as if we were members of the family. We felt completely comfortable, it was a great evening.

I surprised my husband with a visit to the Hotel Deimann for his birthday. The package we booked yesterday also included a visit to the gourmet restaurant Hofstube. We had an all-round great and very cozy evening. The culinary compositions were fabulous and increased the culinary delight from course to course. What made the wonderful evening absolutely perfect was the very approachable chef Felix Weber, who also served courses himself and had very personal and lovely conversations with us. Although the restaurant was full, there was a coziness and peace in the very nice atmosphere. The chefs and service staff never seemed stressed or tense and the preparation of the exceptional and very good dishes and courses in the show kitchen took place with a calmness that made you feel completely comfortable. Since we live very close by, we will definitely come back and look forward to being able to be pampered in every way again. Excellent cuisine and great product selection. Live kitchen with great chefs. Wonderful compositions with natural products that are clearly and structured. The service including the sommelier is outstanding. The wine selection was really great.

A very nice evening in this attractive gourmet restaurant. We enjoyed the winter menu. It was beautifully presented and served. The preparation can be followed in the open kitchen. The entire cooking team is passionate about it and the boss modestly stays in the background. The highlight was the “apple strudel my way”. In our opinion, the wine accompaniment is a bit too expensive, even if the wines were competently presented by the sommelier. Conclusion: It's worth it! There is one more suggestion for perfection: the gentle background music is suitable for the ambience, but the pieces of music should not be duplicated on such a longer evening!

One of our favorite starred restaurants. We always come there specifically to enjoy the food. The restaurant management and sommelier are very friendly and open-minded and always do their best to satisfy the customers. The wines are top, and the non-alcoholic creations are also extremely tasty! The chef is incredibly personable and cooks simply excellently! The hotel manager is also very friendly and you get the feeling that he is very interested in ensuring that the guests are satisfied.

Thank you for a very nice evening in winter 2023. 100% recommendation to visit for fans of gourmet kitchens. Briefly about food: Greetings (salmon+japaleño cream, hazelnut+foiegras paste) incl. fresh bread and parsnip cream soup, foie gras (1 course), scallop (2), quail (3), duck (4) and 2 desserts, plus the (apparently usual, very fine) cocoa biscuit with apricot ice cream on wild berries. The dishes were beautifully presented, were adequately explained by the service and gave me the impression of having an almost tailor-made ratio of sauce to “rest”. Personally, I felt that the goose liver dish had a bit too many sour notes (vinegar vignarette, artishoke) - but that is completely individual. Otherwise, every course was a pleasure for me. We sat for this menu from 7pm to about 10:30pm. For guests who get lost in the extensive wine list, the competent Somelier is available to advise and explain. From the front tables of the restaurant you have a very good view of the kitchen and the preparation, which is sure to appeal to cooking fans. A successful restaurant that will hopefully produce many more menus. All the best to the Hofstuben team.

We were there for our 10th wedding anniversary with an overnight stay at the Deimann house. When we made the reservation for the 6-course tasting menu, our wishes to avoid meat (pescatarian) were taken into account. We even had the choice of either skipping the meat for the venison course or cooking a course of pollack with other side dishes especially for ourselves. The meal was a dream and was perfectly accompanied by numerous fantastic greetings from the kitchen. Cooking took place in front of the guests. It is impressive with the dedication with which they cook and create the works of art. The sommelier and restaurant manager were also perfect. The wines were explained very authentically and charmingly, especially with regard to the interaction of the current course. Thank you for the great experience and the taste experience.

Excellent food. The boss was there personally. The wine accompaniment was overpriced and is not recommended. Although there was only one other couple besides us, the restaurant manager forgot our cutlery for two courses. We had to remind and ask to bring us cutlery. Otherwise, a wonderful evening that we will remember fondly.

Runde Sache, sehr ausgewogenes Menü. Mir war es schon fast zu viel. Die offene Küche schaffte eine interessante Atmosphäre - klar, ist auch ein wenig Show. Auch wenn es fine dining ist, ist die Atmosphäre nie verkrampft, überkandidelt oder steif. Personal? Allesamt 1A Profis. Sehr kompetente Sommeliére. Preis? Naja. 1 Stern halt. Es wird bei Qualität und Geschmack aber auch geklotzt und nicht gekleckert.

Die Hofstube Deimann ist Erlebnis pur! Das fängt an mit der Küche, in der ein junges und modernes Team kocht. Durch das „Show-Cooking“ sieht man wie die Jungs mit den Produkten umgehen. Dort sieht man wie viel Liebe im Detail in so einem Menü steckt. Das Menü, welches wir hatten, war mehr als nur ein Stern im Guide Michelin. Hier ist es eine Frage der Zeit, bis die Küche den zweiten Stern bekommt. Sensationell! Ein vom Guide Michelin empfohlenes Restaurant macht nicht nur eine gute Küche aus, sondern auch einen perfekter Service und dies bietet die Hofstube. Die Sommelier und der Restaurantleiter haben unseren Abend bereichert. Neben der fachlichen Kompetenz waren die Beiden unglaublich humorvoll und charmant. Man stand immer im Dialog mit dem Team. 🔝 Danke für den unvergesslichen Abend, den wir mit Sicherheit zeitnah wiederholen.

Offene Küche, modern und gemütliches Ambiente, top Service und das Essen ein Event. Wir sind keine Wein Trinker und konsumieren nur gelegentlich alkoholische Getränke, haben uns aber von der Weinbegleitung überzeugen lassen: Fazit= absolut top, kann ich jedem nur empfehlen. Hier versteht der Sommelier in Verbindung mit der Küche sein Handwerk. Der „Chef“ war selber vor Ort, was wir gut fanden: top Zusammenspiel mit seinem Team und hat hinterher selber mit sauber gemacht- das kennt man in anderen Restaurants auch anders. Danke für diesen tollen Abend.

Simply great - I can only advise everyone to take a detour here, it's worth it - just escape from everyday life and that in the Sauerland - beautiful and in every season, and not only guests - locals too - want that... So “happy” all around here... would like to come back.

You can eat well here, but it is such a shame about the staff who only say that it is about money. And that in such a location with both golfers and walkers who like to have a drink and something to eat... that could be much better!

Food was very tasty, the people were really nice too. We ate the bus burger and two normal ones, all of which were delicious.
