Gusto in Schmallenberg

We were in Bad Fredeburg for a hiking tour and ended up here by chance. The pizzas were very tasty and wholesome. They also arrived quite quickly. We also found the prices reasonable. Would love to come back.

We were there on a Saturday evening and it was busy inside and out. People kept coming in wanting to pick up their food. I think because of that and the fact that there were already a lot of guests there, we waited an hour for our food. That can happen, but it's not fun with small children. The ambience seems rustic and not like a good Italian restaurant. The children had nuggets with fries, fries were great, nuggets were unfortunately dark brown, but they still tasted good and were even made from real chicken fillet. My husband had a pizza that tasted great, but it was also dark brown to black underneath. I didn't like my carbonara at all. No taste at all and the “spaghetti” was a very long spaetzle. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. Too bad.

Well, I don't even have to go there. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an original pub. A hair in the carbonara, an hour's wait for a salami pizza. The carbonara was more pasta with scrambled eggs, the pizza was too thin so it was soggy. The crust of the pizza was the best. Price performance doesn't fit. Just an apology about the hair. Statement from the waiter that the chef has short hair. Well, but the waitress (the boss's wife) has long hair......never again

We really liked the restaurant. Since the weather was good, we sat on the restaurant terrace. The service was good, the staff friendly and competent. The pizza we ordered was tasty and by no means standard. We will be back definitely.

Excellent food, very friendly service.

Unfortunately not good service. Ice cream came to the table almost thawed. Milkshake drinks were charged again by one euro. When we asked, a lady came out of the restaurant and explained to us that it was an old menu. We were also told that we should have noticed that we had received a large shake. The old woman also said that we would cause such a fuss for one euro. No hospitality. Shame on the restaurant. It's not about the euro. This is just very bad.

Delicious, friendly. There could only have been a little more toppings on the pizza

Service was very friendly, food came quickly, salad was fresh and very well prepared and the pizza was excellent. What more could you want...and not to forget there was also something suitable for the kids. We'll be back... The menu still has a lot to offer but doesn't seem overloaded, the price/performance ratio is absolutely justified! 😉

Incredibly good pizza and original taste!!

Excellent Italian cuisine, very friendly service, and from the terrace you have a great view of the church square. Our dog was welcome and we were offered water for him. We particularly enjoyed the antipasti platter for two, we were given a lot of choice and everything was so delicious. We had a lovely evening!

Today I went to the new ice cream parlor 🍨 except for the cream on the ice cream [spray cream], it wasn't a gastronomic quality, it was okay.

Great restaurant, really good food. It was my first time having a Pinsa. Really good, but it's different than pizza. But you have to try it. The service could perhaps have been a little quicker, but it was also busy. I'm happy for Bad Fredeburg that a new Italian restaurant is finally setting up shop again. Hopefully for longer. I've been there four times so far. The last thing I ate was the Nduja pizza. Delicious!! Great, friendly service, who offered an Italian dessert to try at the end. Was very powerful, but really tasty. We will be back!

Not good. The staff speaks almost no German and understands nothing. Antipasti are totally loveless and banal. Pizza is soggy and barely edible. Not recommended.

There were 5 of us eating spagetti calabrese pasta twice which were very soggy, tagliata once which was quite passable, what was the worst was the pizzas, pizza funghi once and anchovies once and anchovies once on both pizzas the edge was folded over and not This stretched all the way to the middle of the pizza. Some of the pizzas were cold. As an Italian, I have eaten a lot of bad pizzas and that was the crowning achievement of bad food. The service was good and the drinks were good. Price performance is not right. Conclusion: 10 horses won't get me there anymore.

Super tasty & hot pizza! Never had such a delicious Gorgonzola & Spinach pizza before!!! Everyone was very friendly and attentive! It was very busy and the food still came quickly! We recommend!!! We'd love to come back!

My food was good but unfortunately cold

Despite the small menu, there is something for everyone. The service could be a little more attentive, we sat for a long time with empty glasses and we could only order more drinks if we asked. My Parma pizza had raw ham but certainly not Parma ham! What a shame! Products can go “OFF” but it has to be communicated.

Ein Restaurant mit tollem Essen und sehr aufmerksamen Service. Das Ambiente ist für mich gemütlich, für andere vielleicht zu rustikal. Eine Veränderung ist aber wohl in Planung.

Die Ausstattung erinnert mich an eine alte Gaststätte, aber das Essen ist sehr lecker. Leider mussten wir ziemlich lange darauf warten, obwohl wir nur fünf Pizzen bestellt haben. 40 Minuten können mit Kindern ziemlich lang sein... und es war gar nicht wirklich voll...

Salade Gusto met z'n tweeën gedeeld als voorgerecht. Smaakte prima! Heerlijke pizza's gegeten. Helaas geen ruimte meer voor een dessert. Vriendelijke bediening en vriendelijke prijzen.

Die Pizza ist, wie ich sie aus Italien kenne. Super 👍🏼

Der Service war sehr freundlich und die Pizza auch lecker. Allerdings entsprach die Pizza (Anna) nicht ganz der Beschreibung auf dem Menü. Es wurden Büffelmozzarella und Datteltomaten versprochen, doch war es normaler Mozzarella und Cherry Tomaten. Die Tomaten waren nicht so das Problem, aber ich hatte mich schon auf cremige Mozzarella gefreut und dann doch nur zähe Mozzarellascheiben vorgefunden.

Tolle Pizza und Pasta. Und eine super Bedienung, die die Sonderwünsche der Kids gerne erfüllte. Wir saßen draußen. Das einzig etwas nervende war der Verkehr. Aber das war spätestens bei der leckeren Tiramisu vergessen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Heerlijke pizza, helaas wel een uur moeten wachten tot ze geserveerd werden.

Pizza was heel lekker en het personeel vriendelijk. Het duurde wel wat lang voor we onze pizza kregen, maar dat mocht uiteindelijk de pret niet drukken. Prijzen waren schappelijk.

Prima restaurant, vriendelijk bediening en goed eten. Ik vond wel dat de bediening wat attenter mag zijn. Zo moeten we best lang wachten tot er werd af geruimd en daarna moeten we ook nog zelf, weet na een tijd wachten, zelf aangeven dat we nog een toetje worden bestellen. Hetgeen we uiteindelijk niet hebben gedaan omdat van de 6 of 7 keuzes er nog slechts 2 beschikbaar waren. Dat was wel minder. Maar buiten dat was het eten goed en de bediening heel vriendelijk. Ook voor een goede prijs. Honden mogen om mee naar binnen.

Erg goede pizza! Met vakantie gehad in Italië en moet zeggen dat deze pizza niet onder doet voor die in Italië. Heerlijk
