I'll leave my very good review from last year here because I hope it was an outlier... I was there a few days ago as a member of a technical interest group with several people that meets here periodically and, as always, I was really looking forward to the otherwise always very good food. I ordered a breaded pork schnitzel with mushrooms in mild pepper cream with fried potatoes and salad. As always, the schnitzel was very good and very tasty. Unfortunately, this time the fried potatoes were absolutely tasteless and looked like they had been prepared in a deep fryer or in a lot of vegetable oil. In addition, the typical bacon shine was missing, which not only adds to the visual enjoyment. A few dry bacon cracklings were then sprinkled on the plate. If you're going to sprinkle bacon and onions on top afterwards, the fried potatoes should be tossed in bacon fat for flavor. If people just shrug their shoulders at (very friendly) comments when paying, the evening will at least end with questions. I really hope for my enjoyment that it was just an outlier and that next time the food reflects the peace and relaxation of the kitchen team. --------------------------- - - - - - 2024: I've always had delicious food. So the boss was very nice and welcomed you, but so did the staff...we ordered breakfast from 1 whole pot and only got 2 small cups out of it and my egg was apparently lying around for 4 days it was worse than green

Doner kebab and ayran €4.90 great price, tastes good. Doner man correct. 5 stars

Absolutely solid, of course not a highlight, but if you're looking for something quick, this kebab can be recommended without hesitation.

Ate pizza. I would say you can treat yourself to average pizza

The people who say this is the tastiest kebab shop have either never eaten a real kebab or live off organic waste. By far the worst kebab I've ever eaten. What kind of meat is that? Rat? Donkey?? Never again!!

Unfortunately we drove from Heide to Kiel for free!!! We wanted to finally eat authentic Thai food again, which, according to the reviews, is possible here... Well, even though it was supposed to be open (after 5 p.m.), all the shutters were down and nothing was happening. Nobody could be reached by phone either. The tour was free and will certainly not be repeated.

Gehe schon seit Jahren hier hin und wieder essen, jedoch wird es immer schlechter. Gestern Sauerfleisch mit Bratkartoffeln. Das Sauerfleisch befand sich unter einem Berg Gelee/Glibber und schwamm im Dressing des auf dem Teller befindlichen Salates. Die Bratkartoffel eine absolute Frechheit. Nur aufgewärmt (lauwarm) und total labberig. Stimmt nicht ganz. Zwei Scheiben Kartoffeln schwarz vie Holzkohle und genau so bröselig. Beim letzten Besuch war die Pizza kalt. Total enttäuscht.

I discovered this restaurant via Google Maps. There I met J. from Kiel, a student intern who works here part-time. She does it with such heart and good humor that you'd almost think she owns the place. She has a smile for every guest. And not just when they arrive and leave, but with every encounter at the table. The food was excellent. I opted for a typical local dish: a farmer's breakfast. The portion was so large that even I, a big eater, had trouble handling it. Schweinske is definitely worth a 5-star rating and everyone should visit it at least once. If I'm ever in Kiel again, it's at the top of my list!

Der Belag der Pizza wurde trotz Zusage des Kellners nicht geändert. Dressings scheint auch rar. Wir sagten höflich das unser Essen nicht richtig ist und sind Rassisten, unglaublich

lecker, gut und freundlicher service. brsonders das angebot mit 3 verschiedenen cocktails fand ich sehr ansprechend

Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and incredibly delicious food... highly recommended. We would love to come back!

The burgers are mediocre. Not particularly good, but edible. The fries aren't particularly good either. They're soggy and not crispy.
