The Schweinske was pleasantly empty on July 3, 2024, the service was very friendly, our food was chosen quickly, and my request to get a larger salad instead of fries was also accepted. The wait for food wasn't long, the Hamburger Schnitzel, along with fried potatoes for my colleague, looked delicious and she liked it very much. I had ordered a chicken breast fillet with herb butter, but unfortunately I received the larger salad I wanted with schnitzel on which a ladle of paprika sauce was draped - schnitzel was returned, then the chicken breast fillet with herb butter came, but it was not cooked through 🤢 - returned again. The chicken breast fillet found its way to me after a few minutes with a thick slice of herb butter and fried. It can happen, but for my first visit and a really empty restaurant I thought it was only semi-existent. The young chef, really handsome 😉, seemed a bit haphazard as he occasionally rushed out of the kitchen to serve and they both then disappeared into the kitchen. Maybe he was just having a bad day...

The fried potatoes could have been crispier and less greasy. Otherwise it was very tasty.

The location is super nice, the waitresses are nice and attractive. The food tasted really good. But the portions were very small compared to other branches. That was a bit surprising.

A very nice, clean and well-equipped restaurant with ambience and flair that has first-class, nice and friendly service. The food is prepared first-class and tastes fantastic; the kitchen does a very good job here. We would be happy to go there again. The restaurant is highly recommended!!!

We had dinner here today with our children for my birthday. Unfortunately, pure disappointment. The shop wasn't full and we still had to wait almost 1.5 hours for our food. After an hour a waitress came and said there had been a problem in the kitchen and the cook was home now but there was already a new cook there. But there was food out all the time, just not ours. When the food finally came we were more than disappointed. The schnitzel was still OK but the rest was totally bland and unseasoned. The fried potatoes were totally greasy and tasteless. The veggie burger was dripping with grease and even the fries lacked salt. In addition, I ordered hot cocktail sauce as a dip, which was basically just a stick of normal barbecue sauce. Once and never again in this restaurant.

December 2022: We spontaneously ate here on Christmas Day. Super nice service and good food. Draft beer wasn't quite as cold...but not warm. Therefore a star deduction. Otherwise all good. April 2023: Unfortunately you can only pay with an EC card or cash... luckily I had cash with me. April 2024: Paid with credit card😃. Beer was colder, but the handle of the glass was warm. Maybe store the glasses somewhere else. Beer (and the glass) must be cold! Food was good. I would have expected a slightly more tender schnitzel for the pork schnitzel. The coleslaw was delicious, creamy and well seasoned. The bread with the tartar sauce was also extremely tasty. With a large drink approx. €21 per person. That's good for two complete menus (these days).

I wanted to go with my family (7 people) Spontaneous Sunday meal at 8 p.m. Unfortunately we were turned away "the kitchen is already too bad". We then left the €200 in Traum GmbH.

I was really looking forward to it because we've been there several times before, whether for breakfast or dinner, this time we had a table for "evenings", and the food was good. But back then there was more choice. What really irritated us was that at 7.45 p.m. many of the tables were already being cleaned, which smelled very unpleasant, and the breakfast cards were handed out, even though there were still a few guests on site. We actually thought it would be open until 10 p.m. We were also asked if we wanted to order another hot drink because cleaning was about to begin. Sorry, under time pressure No thanks...!! Maybe you should then please specify how long it is really open for...

Food was very tasty. We had reserved a table for 7:30 p.m. After finishing the dishes, we were told at 9 p.m. that they wanted to close (without giving a reason), even though the opening times were advertised until 10 p.m. Not the nice kind...

If you are looking for a traditional German Restaurant, this is the place for you. Food, price, value, this place is perfect.

We don't go to Schweinske's often, but we go there occasionally and have always been satisfied. Except now on Sunday, when I was very disappointed. We were there with a few friends and the food was okay and the drinks were as ordered as expected. I had the "recommendation" from the insert (cheese spaetzle with bacon and fried chicken), the cheese spaetzle was more like spaetzle in a cream sauce with bacon, the so-called fried chicken tasted like a rather cheap chicken schnitzel convenience product. It just didn't taste good, I only got three bites down, the consistency was totally strange, the smell wasn't like chicken like I expected and it was sometimes very hard. The nice colleague came to the table and asked if everything was OK, but I hadn't tried the chicken yet, so we initially said yes, but unfortunately we didn't see her again until we had finished eating. After the meal she asked again if everything was good, as she took my plate which was still well filled I said no, I didn't like the chicken at all and therefore couldn't eat it. She apologized for it and offered me a coffee "as an apology". I refused this because I didn't feel like having coffee, there was no alternative and we also had to pay for all the food and drinks. I know this better and differently from other restaurants. It's a shame to dismiss it with just a "sorry." It was also strange that the food came after a maximum of 20 minutes of ordering, as other guests were also waiting for the food. (Not a criticism, it just happened unusually quickly, as we had been waiting a while for actually delicious kale.)

Heute das erst Mal Schweinske besucht. Wir sind von den Schnitzel sehr begeistert (Elbsässer und normales Schnitzel), die Pommes heiß und knusprig. Die beiden Mädels im Service danken wir sehr für Ihre freundliche Art. Wir kommen definitiv wieder ☺️.

Einfach fantastisch. Beste Schnitzel der Stadt.

Wir waren mit 10 Personen da, alle hatten Schnitzel verschiedener Varianten und Beilagen. Jeder war von seinem eigenen Teller so angetan, dass er vom anderen auch testen wollte. Alles so lecker! Gehört zu einem Bummel auf der Holtenauer fest dazu! Fragen zur Herkunft der Zutaten konnte das Servicepersonal beantworten. Zu meinem Erstaunen, wird dort alles frisch zubereitet. Eier sollen aus der Freilandhaltung kommen. Super freundliche Personen bedienten uns. Wir kommen bereits wieder nächste Woche!

Waren dort Frühstücken das Rührei war nicht durch sondern glibberich,🤢der Kaffe war ziemlich stark oder stand schon länger . trotzdem vollen Preis bezahlt 🤔.Aber ansonsten ganz nett der Schuppen

Sehr deftige Tagesgerichte. Die normale Speisekarte ist sehr klein und weniger zeitgemäß.

Lecker und freundlich. Das Ambiente für meinen Geschmack zu sehr mit System-Gastro-Vibes. Aber kann man gut machen, wenn einem der Sinn nach Schweinereien steht. Wir waren auf der Durchreise tagsüber hier. Vielleicht wirkt es Abends gemütlicher.

Nettes Personal, super Essen! Mehr kann man eigentlich nicht sagen :) wir kommen gerne wieder! Von der Ofenkartoffel mit Quark & Putenstreifen bis zum Schnitzel mit Pommes & als Getränk die "Himbeerliebe" - lecker!!

Leuder war ein Essen kalt.Frühstück ist definitiv schöner,als zumindest unser warmes Essen Toiletten könnten sich sauberer sein.

Ach Mensch, wir kommen seit Jahren im Schweinske Kiel und es wird leider immer schlechter. So schade. Der Kaiserschmarn wurde früher in einer Eisenpfanne hingestellt. Jetzt nur noch auf einem Teller und der Geschmack war schon mal besser. Wir hatten gestern auch 1x Grünkohl. Der Preis für knapp 19 € zu hoch für diese kleine Portion, die eher auf einem Frühstücksteller von der Größe her serviert wurde. An der Seite fielen Kartoffeln schon runter, da der Teller so klein war. In der Karte stand Kassler und es wurde Kasslernacken serviert. Dazu 5 Kartoffeln, die sogar noch mir Schale serviert wurden. Ach man.... was soll ich da noch sagen. Tut mir wirklich Leid, aber das ist leider nicht mehr gut. Der Service ist weiterhin klasse und die Lokalität gemütlich.

Reichhaltiiges Frühstück. Die Brötchen waren lecker. Kaffee war ok aber nicht überragend. Sehr kleine Toiletten,wo man sich kaum umdrehen konnte( selbst als BMI 23 ) Aufmerksames Personal. Viele laute Studenten die so reden als wenn sie noch nicht richtig im Leben angekommen sind. Die Parkplatz Situation ist sehr schlecht. Man sollte sich auf mehrere Kilometer Fußweg einstellen. Unglaublich in der heutigen Zeit.

Sehr leckeres Kraftpaketfrühstück mit Käse, Salami, Mett, Spiegelei und Bacon dazu Pancakes. Gerne wieder.

Nachdem ich zuletzt im August 2020 (ich hatte damals auch schon eine [schlechte] Bewertung geschrieben) hier war, bin ich nach 1,5 Jahren mal wieder im Schweiske eingekehrt. Ich hatte mich zunächst 3x an den Mittagstisch rangetraut, der "okay" war, aber nach mit jedem Mal nachließ. Heute hatte ich "Steak mit Champignonrahm", das leider mit einer glasigen Pilz-Schmorzwiebel-Kreation überhäuft war. Nix Champignon-Rahm :-( Das Fleisch war... "mittelprächtig". Ich hatte mich an einen Tisch gesetzt, an dem vorher wohl gefrühstückt wurde. Dass die zusammengestellten Tische noch nicht wieder ausgeräumt und sauber waren, war nicht das Problem, aber zur Aufnahme meiner Bestellung oder spätestens vor/mit Servieren des Getränks hätte gerne mal ein Lappen zum Einsatz kommen können. Die Krümel habe ich mit der Karte zu einem Berg zusammengerakt, aber der Tisch war wirklich dreckig und klebrig... Das hat 2 Servicekräfte, die bei mir waren, null interessiert. Ich habe dem Laden nach o.g. langer Pause eine Chance gegeben. Jedoch werde ich mich nun endgültig von diesem Lokal trennen.

Wir hatten heute ein tolles Frühstück. Super lecker. Die Kellnerin war Klein, trotzdem immer freundlich gewesen. Hat einen super Job gemacht.😊

Wir haben es immer wieder versucht, aber das war es jetzt. Das was man Essen konnte waren die Pommes und der Salat. Da ich selbst koche versteh ich nicht wie man ein paniertes Schnitzel so tot braten kann. Ich sage nein danke für uns wars das.

In losen Abständen bin ich seit Jahren Gast im Schweinske. Leider erlebe ich hier immer wieder Enttäuschungen! Bei einem Außer-Haus-Essen fehlte der Salat, ein andermal war die knusprig (oder saftig?) gebraten Pute (winterlich) weit entfernt von gebraten. Vielmehr war es anderweitig gegarte Pute im Aufschnitt, mit Bratensoße übergossen, leider noch nicht mal Geflügelsoße. Dann gab es Leberkäse, zu dem neben Spiegelei und Bratkartoffeln Schmorzwiebeln angekündigt waren. Diese fehlten. Als die Kellnerin angesprochen wurde, hat sie sich flüchtig entschuldigt, aber den Mangel nicht behoben. Jüngst habe ich ein Essen bestellt, das ausverkauft war. Okay, passiert. Meine 2. Wahl, Putenbrustfilet mit Pommes und Beilagensalat, hat sehr lange auf sich warten lassen. Als dann endlich serviert wurde, war es ein falsches Essen, nicht mit einem anderen Gast verwechselt, sondern falsch aufgegeben. Der Laden war nicht wirklich voll. Vertrockneter Salat, ein Stück Fleisch und und frittierte Pommes brauchen nicht sonderlich viel Vorbereitung... Am Nachbartisch saßen 2 Personen, mit denen ich zeitgleich bestellt habe. Als mein falsches Essen kam,hatten die beiden schon aufgegessen. Ich habe das Getränk bezahlt und bin gegangen. Nach allen Versuchen und zweiten Chancen werde ich wohl künftig auf diesen Laden endgültig verzichten.

Wir waren heute zum frühstücken hier. Die Auswahl der Variationen könnte besser nicht sein. Leckere hausgebackene Brötchen,Rührei mit Bacon,Fleischsalat und und und. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und haben uns direkt für heute Abend einen Tisch reserviert. 5 🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷 Bewertung für Schweinske
