Chok Chay Thai Imbiss in Kiel

Unfortunately, we drove from Heide to Kiel for nothing! We finally wanted to enjoy some authentic Thai food again, which, according to the reviews, is supposed to be possible here.... Well, even though it was supposed to be open (after 5 p.m.), all the shutters were down and nothing was happening. No one was available by phone either. The tour was free and we certainly won't be repeating it.

Food was ordered four hours in advance, and shortly before it was supposed to arrive, it was canceled. They could have done that right away!!!

Very delicious dish, feeling like in Thailand! Love the vibe that people working in the neighbourhood just walk in and take a drink themselves 🩷 def will come again

The taste is okay...but the price doesn't justify the children's portion at all. Completely overpriced for a snack bar. Then first go to the kebab shop opposite...you get something for your money.

"Pad Thai Gung" – with fried rice noodles, shrimp, peanuts, tofu, and vegetables. A bit more expensive than others, but always fresh, good ingredients, and much more authentic and closer to Native food :-)

Unfortunately, the taste of the dishes has changed very much for the worse. We were disappointed and will not be ordering again.

Aufgrund der Rezensionen hier gewesen. Das Ambiente ist spartanisch. Ich komme aber weil ich Hunger habe. Ist auch "nur" als Imbiss angegeben. Zwei Spielautomat in der Ecke. Essen war wahnsinnig gut. Portionen sind durchaus ok. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Ich würde wieder hin. Gegessen habe ich Laab Gai. Hervorragend.

Wir haben schon viele Thai Restaurants ausprobiert und Chok Chay ist noch immer mit Abstand am leckersten. Die Preise sind mehr als angemessen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne vorbei.

Lecker und authentisch, Portionen könnten etwas größer sein. Personal sehr freundlich.

Recommended to ask for “Thai-spicy” if you want spicier food! Love the food here. Cozy and quiet.

Schmeckt wie Streetfood in Bangkok. Originales thailändisches Essen.

Es ist einfach köstliche thailändische Hausmannskost! Geschmacklich wie Streetfood ist Thailand. Alles kam heiß und frisch bei uns an. Der frittierte Fisch ist definitiv ein Highlight, genau die der Schweinebauch-Salat. 🤤

Maden er ikke fantastisk. Den ældre dame var svær at forstå, så det gik lidt svært med at kommunikere. Det var billigt indtil der blev trukket dobbelt på vores konto ved et uheld. Nu har jeg ringet flere gange og forsøgt at få mine penge tilbage uden held. Damen jeg taler med forstår vist ikke hvad jeg siger.

Lille hyggelig restaurant. Ok mad til prisen. Venligt personale, men er ikke gode til engelsk. Husk at medbringe kontanter, da man ikke kunne betale med kreditkort den dag.

Einfach Lecker!!!! Die beste Thai essen in Schleswig-Holstein, frische Zutaten und sehr lecker. Nur zum empfehlen. Preis ok. Immer wieder gerne.

Schnelle Lieferung, sehr leckeres Essen. Würde immer wieder dort bestellen, es schmeckt nach Thailändischer Original-Küche. Kann man nur empfehlen, wenn man mal "richtig" Thaiessen haben möchte.
