Nice ambience. Big prices.....small portions. Scattered with chopped lettuce leaves so that the plate doesn't look so empty. Fried potatoes as a side dish don't cost the world. Why are people so stingy with it?

It feels like it's still closed for renovations for what feels like two years. The "Zum Anker" restaurant was always a good place to go if you wanted to visit the ship lift and the savings lock with observation tower in Magdeburg Rothensee. Unfortunately there is no information about reopening 🤷.

Queued for 20 minutes (there were only 6 people in front of us)

It's a shame, fries and chicken were perfect, but waiting over 35 minutes for 1 menu + 2 happy meals didn't deserve the name "fast food", and unfortunately it wasn't clean either. 🫥

The long chicken (the meat) wasn't crispy on the outside but rather fatty, as if it had been in the frying fat for a long time and the frying fat wasn't hot enough. Tasted like old frying fat. Same with the Nuggets. There was an aftertaste of fat on the tongue.

I was very surprised by the service and the nice reception. I'm from Potsdam, and so far this was the very best Turkish grill house I've visited. It is highly recommended!

A few years ago, the food there was delicious and the service friendly, but unfortunately, that's not the case anymore, which is a shame. It used to be a really good Chinese restaurant. The food doesn't taste that good anymore, and the service isn't friendly either.

The variety of plants and flowers here is amazing. Every corner of the garden has its own charm

on September 18th, 2024, at 7:41 p.m. (photo added, which was taken at 7:41 p.m.), we wanted to buy several subs in the Subway store at Hasselbachplatz in Magdeburg. Although the store was supposed to be open until 8 p.m. according to the opening times, we found ourselves in front of a locked door. When we tried to enter the store, we were seen by the employees and the light on the advertising board at the entrance was quickly turned off - all 20 minutes before closing time. This behavior is an absolute disgrace. We are accordingly upset and disappointed with this experience. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and we cannot recommend the store under these circumstances. We have also decided not to enter this location again in the future. We expect a statement and hope that this unacceptable behavior will be dealt with internally in order to avoid such incidents in the future.

Terrible restaurant. Worst asian food in Magdeburg. Don't order here. This supposed to be duck with rice. Theres no duck just rice

I've always enjoyed ordering, but I've noticed that if you don't tip when it's delivered, your ass won't be looked at anymore. I also come from the catering industry, but it was very subterranean. I only tip for good service, but there was no usual service offered here like in restaurants, only something delivered. I think it's really unreasonable to expect anything else. Tipping is a voluntary thing and not something that is mandatory for the customer! It's a shame, otherwise I was always really happy with the food!

This was my favorite Subway store at the time, the prices were fair and the sandwiches were carefully topped. However, the store has been closed for over 2 years and Dominos has taken over the premises.

Update It's now called Berlin Döner and still stay away. Better go to Bingöl grillhaus on Olvenstedter Straße 28. Best kebab in stadfeld Ost Hands off. Diarrhea and stomach problems are inevitable. The best thing to do is to report this store to the health department. Update: The health department has been alerted
