Elbelandhaus in Magdeburg

Eating goose at Elbelandhaus was the best decision. Even the long journey from Hanover was totally worth it!!!!! The staff was very friendly. We don't have to wait long for the food. The taste was excellent. We can 100% recommend this beautiful restaurant

Very nice place to rest Sunday afternoon sunshine and lots of walkers in and around the place in question, but 2 stalls for 1 seller. Snacks not possible in 30 minutes, I might have time for n sausages. I have to do other things. Staff totally overwhelmed, which I completely understand, but if I had no understanding for it, you would have 1 The situation was too relaxed and only drinks were offered, it would also be good - it's just not the time of year when you have to prepare for a lot of guests. Sunday was a stroke of luck as far as the weather was concerned, the operator could have been prepared for it as far as the staff were concerned...it's going to go wrong...it's not working anymore today.

The service greets us on a first-name basis. Disrespectful! Drinks came upon request. There were more staff petting the dogs than with us as guests. There were 8 of us. And 6 times the conclusion = catastrophe. Seldom eaten so badly. The owner should eat in his own house again to “enjoy” it Sorry, never again!

We found the food to be very good. Although not excessive, it's still very good. Very tasty from the starters to the dessert. Another positive thing to mention is the service. Extremely friendly and we didn't have to wait long. We really liked it.

Very nice service, especially from the favorite waiter, but overall everyone was super nice, it was a nice evening. Unfortunately, like everywhere else at such events, drinks only come in plastic cups and they don't taste great.

Today we were in the beer garden in the best weather! The wine was delicious, the chili and the solyanka were very, very tasty. All in all, just a wonderful fall day!

I have on October 6th. 24, I hosted a celebration in the “Elbelandhaus” with my family, who came from large parts of the old federal states. The fantastic gastronomy I experienced and was offered there was simply great. I can only recommend this location. If you then enjoy the location and the surrounding area everything is perfect. I would like to thank the entire TEAM - you will definitely see me there again.

I visited the restaurant with my wife and daughter. The service is very nice and friendly and the place is nice. However, the food is not good... The portions are small and not very tasty. The venison goulash is just ridiculous, very small portions and a total of 4 tiny pieces of meat on the plate in the sauce, the dumplings aren't even real dumplings, and all for 26 euros. This is not worth the price at all. We didn't really like the other dishes either. This is far from what I would consider quality. So, the place is good, the team is good, but something is wrong in the kitchen, even though we came here primarily for the food, and maybe they need a new head chef.

Schöne Lage, guter und netter Service, das Essen eine Unverschämtheit. Die Salatbeilage auf dem Teller eklig und die „zwei“ Pfifferlinge in der Fertigsoße (Poularde mit Pfifferlingen) leicht zu finden. Der Windbeutel mit Vanilleeis und Eierlikör eine Enttäuschung. Wir werden dort nicht mehr einkehren.

Today we spontaneously went to the Elbelandhaus for dinner during the week (Thursday). At 1 p.m. we wanted to have lunch for two. We couldn't find the entrance door at first and we didn't get a seat right away because a large part of the restaurant was reserved. After 5 minutes of waiting, we got a seat...unfortunately with a view of a wall...a shame, as other places with windows would even have a view of the Elbe. The choice of food is manageable, but that's basically a good sign, as emphasis is placed on quality and not quantity. Drinks arrived quite quickly, the food took a while but the waiting time was perfectly fine. During the meal a tour group arrived and the noise level increased considerably. Food was very good and sufficient. We had the pike perch with cucumber salad and the chicken with chanterelles. It was also reasonably priced. All in all, I can definitely recommend the restaurant... just reconsider spontaneous visits and make a reservation in advance. The location invites you to take a walk along the Elbe afterwards and the terrace is certainly very nice in summer. We'd love to come back.

I can definitely recommend the restaurant. Everything is right here. Eat. Really very tasty, seasonal, beautifully presented and the price is right too. Service. Top! The service team adapts to the "swarm behavior" of a large group (sometimes sitting inside and sometimes outside), are attentive and very polite. That is exactly the service that I value. Thanks. Ambiance. Beautiful. Just right. Not too much, but not too little either. It's very comfortable to sit inside and outside. Surrounded by meadows and trees.

Very nice surroundings near the Elbe and nice inn and terrace. Food very delicious, good quality products, but unfortunately somewhat small portions. The staff were sometimes a bit rude in their statements, but still friendly.

I was here for a celebration and we were in the room on the first floor. We had a buffet, which was generally tasty, but a little tight, especially the vegetables. Drink orders took a while to arrive, but it was also busy. Of course, the location and the terrace on the 1st floor are particularly nice.

We had lunch. The service was very friendly and quick. The food was very plentiful and tasted fantastic. We were visiting my brother from the Lüneburg Heath. He is a frequent guest there. Which we can now understand. Thank you again. Of course I would be happy to recommend her to others.

There were specific agreements in advance that were fully adhered to. Our expectations were exceeded and we and our guests were completely satisfied. A special thank you to the completely harmonious service staff. Kudos to the kitchen for the particularly tasty and well-prepared buffet. And all of this at a good price/performance ratio. Went there for the Riverside@night event in the beer garden. It was quite nice. Unfortunately the A-spritz was totally watered down, didn't taste good and wasn't worth the money... It's a shame...

We celebrated our wedding reception in a small group in the Elbelandhaus. Reserved the table for 20 people 5-6 months in advance. Good arrangement for the day. The table was beautifully set and the guests were completely happy. The food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was also okay.

I ordered a table at the Elbelanhaus for lunch for the first time. Since we were coming from a funeral, I ordered the table a little to the side, not so large. Our table was very far away in a corner of the dining room and next to the entrance to the toilets. The window sills were so covered in small flies and cobwebs that we asked the waitress to wipe them away first. The unfriendliness of the service was catastrophic, no hello, the drinks order was mixed up so we had to guess who was doing what to whom. We didn't ask if we wanted anything else, so we took care of it ourselves, waited an hour for us to ask when the food was coming, the food was lukewarm, the portions were far too small for this price range. Dessert was ordered 3 times and only came twice when asked There was no response so we canceled it and paid. To our observations, the other guests were excellent served. Only our table was put on siding from the start. An employee was asked about our situation, which was ignored and dismissed with ease. I was very disappointed, as were my invited guests. It should be a contemplative day for a special person. I will not recommend this restaurant.

Today we were drawn to the city park on this beautiful sunny day, where we stopped in the beer garden of the Elbelandhaus. There are delicious grilled specialties prepared with love and, at our request, a delicious vegetarian version was even created. Simply wonderful with a cyclist and beautiful music in green surroundings!

We have known the Elbelandhaus for a very long time and have eaten there every now and then and have always been satisfied. This time we had a family celebration and were disappointed. My aperitif Deja-Vu was missing rosemary. The service's response was succinct, we don't have one. I expect this information when ordering, then I would have chosen something else. Empty glasses stood on the table for ages, no one asked if you wanted something more to drink. You had to make yourself noticeable to get more drinks. The food took a long time, which was okay, there were a few of us and they certainly wanted to serve everything together. My meat was great, unfortunately the beans weren't at all, they reminded me a lot of "Iglo Bacon Beans" in taste and appearance. Rump steaks were well over cooked (medium), dry and became more and more mouth-watering. No apology, despite the steak being left behind and a note to the staff. Potato gratin didn't taste good. Schnitzel much too dark and dry. Price-performance ratio with the food used is out of all proportion. It's a shame that the quality of the food and service has deteriorated so much.

Wir waren am Samstag zum Barbecue mit enttäuschendem Fazit. Wartezeit um überhaupt Getränke zu bestellen 40 Minuten. Egal ob Ofenkartoffeln, Spargel oder Fleisch, alles war lauwarm bis kalt. Die Musik direkt neben dem Tisch zu laut um sich zu unterhalten. Wir waren super enttäuscht.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen und waren rundum begeistert. Das Ambiente ist einfach wundervoll – man fühlt sich sofort wohl und willkommen. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Das Essen war einfach köstlich! Jeder Bissen war ein Genuss und man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe zum Detail gekocht wird. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die kreative Menüauswahl und die frischen Zutaten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können dieses Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen!

We were guests at the Elbelandhaus on the occasion of our daughter's youth consecration on April 20th. The friendliness of the staff as well as the food and drinks were at an absolute top level. So we spent a really nice day there on a special occasion. Thanks again to the entire team.

We spent the morning with Mario (a nice and funny service person) in the beer garden of the Elbelandhaus. Two delicious Aperol Spritz (highly recommended) accompanied our stay with culinary delights. Great location, near the Elbe, in the middle of the green, great, relaxed beer garden atmosphere. We will be back!

We celebrated our daughter's youth consecration in the Elbelandhaus. The upper area was made available to us for this purpose (extra terrace, toilet). A great location, Unfortunately we waited over an hour for our food, even though we wanted the starter and main course together. Information that it would take a little longer might have helped. When we asked that we would like to pay and skip the main course, the bill came without a word... Very unfortunate.....

We really enjoy being here because the staff is simply great, which isn't always easy these days. Food and drinks are equally fine. Also very popular in the beer garden. Kettle goulash and feuerwurst are very, very tasty.

Had dinner there with the family. It all took a while, but the food was very good. You can also sit outside very well on warm days. Is highly recommended.

The location and the staff are top. Unfortunately the food was subpar. Steak ordered, like shoe sole and very dry. The price for it is too high. It's a shame......unfortunately I won't be coming back.

The place, the rooms and the location on the Elbe are really outstanding. The service was always friendly and helpful. It took some time after the first orders for the dishes to be cleared away, okay it was May 1st and it was busy. Despite a clear menu, the food was not fresh, not very seasoned and not enough. The prices are too high for that, so I, the guest, expect quality and quantity. We had a great time sitting on the terrace under a parasol in the best May weather.

4 service employees stand behind the counter and do whatever... new guests are waiting outside and everyone is ignored! It's a shame, but the good mood for what was hopefully a delicious meal was spoiled!

Elbelandhütte beer garden on May 1st was brilliantly friendly despite the extreme crowds! Great music! Really friendly, bratwurst, solyanka, delicious garlic bread... and always a funny saying on the lips... I think this will be the meeting place for the summer 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great location. The food was good but not outstanding. Nice personel. Prices are sometimes steep. A children's "ice cream sundae" for 5 euros with just one scoop of ice cream and a few smarties is cheeky. Even a double espresso for just under 5 euros is not possible. The dishes were fairly priced.

The beer garden is very cozy, the staff in the beer garden is very relaxed and always has a good saying on their lips, just the way I like it... Not boring... The food is very tasty, is freshly prepared and hasn't been waiting for hours the warming box... I'll be happy to wait 5 minutes... Thanks for the nice place...

Well attended, nice location where you can eat well. There is a deduction for communication if you want to order a main course AFTER a starter 2 hours before the end and are told that the kitchen is now closed. We couldn't read anything about it on the website beforehand.

We wanted to try the grill hut yesterday, unfortunately we were a bit put off by a blackboard (see photo), then we had a question about the food and got such a stupid and cheeky answer from an older gentleman. We held our wedding celebration on the upper floor of the Elbelandhaus and would like to thank the team for their hospitality and hospitality. Drunk coffee with cream puffs. We sat there for a while afterwards. We also politely asked if we would like anything else, which we replied in the negative. A little later the bill was brought to us without asking, which surprised us. There were still enough tables available for new guests. It felt like an expulsion. Therefore a star deduction. We'll still come back

Anyone who takes a seat in the Elbelandhaus, whether on the terrace or in the guest room, looks out over the Magdeburg Cathedral and the new Sternbrücke and thus over the most beautiful part of the city of Magdeburg. Food and service great!!! We will definitely visit again soon. I would have given it 5 stars if the Elbelandhaus were a 100% non-smoking restaurant. It's annoying when you sit on the terrace in the beautiful early summer weather and the air is polluted by cigarette smoke. Not to mention children who you don't want to expose to harmful cigarette smoke!!! In my opinion, smoking is no longer appropriate today. Today, intelligent people are sporty and open-minded. Smelly beer bars still remain open for incorrigible smokers. My answer to your answer today: 22_06_13 Please read my review on Google Maps from June 10, 22 in full. In it I explain why I couldn't give it five points! Of course you are responsible if I didn't feel comfortable on your beautiful terrace with the best pre-summer weather and a tasty meal. You have house rules and can impose a smoking ban on your entire premises, including on the terrace. 🚭 You put out the ashtrays that encourage smoking! This may cost you a handful of unteachable smokers, but it will bring you many, many health-conscious hikers, cyclists and motorcyclists as customers. Young families with small children will also thank you!!! 🚸 In my experience, smokers and dog owners are unteachable. Even a kind word won't convince you to give up smoking. On the contrary, the three smokers came from the next table, where they did not want to bother their own colleagues with their tobacco smoke. They stood next to my table and then harassed me. 😬☹️ Make your wonderful excursion restaurant a real non-smoking restaurant, then we'll definitely see each other again in the near future. The new motorcycle season is just around the corner, I definitely plan to visit here again.

A very nice restaurant with a cozy atmosphere We were guests at this restaurant this afternoon. We stopped there by chance while we were walking. We immediately felt at home and the staff was extremely friendly. We ordered two wines and appetizers to satisfy our stomachs and were completely satisfied. Extremely delicious wine and the food was great. We can't rate the main courses here because we didn't choose any due to the time of day (for this reason four stars in the food category). Overall, we were thrilled with the ambience, the staff and the food and drinks. We can highly recommend it and will definitely come back!

We were at the Elbelandhaus yesterday for Valentine's Day and were very enthusiastic about the menu, everything tasted really, really good, the tables were beautifully set, it was a very nice evening for us. The service was very nice and friendly, high praise, the atmosphere was very nice, we look forward to the weather getting better and then you can sit on the terrace with a great view of the Elbe. We will definitely come back and are looking forward to it. LG to the entire team.

Schöne Location, tolles Umfeld. Wir waren zu meinem Geburtstag zum Abendessen dort. Ich habe ein Steak mit Würzfleisch und Bratkartoffeln bestellt. Letztere waren verkohlt, das "Steak" hart und trocken wie Gummi. Es war irgendwie gegart, aber nicht gebraten. Ich habe es dann reklamiert. Dann wurde mir der gleiche Teller wiedergebracht: Die verkohlten Kartoffeln wurden entfernt, nicht ersetzt, die abgeschnittenen Steaks und das Würzfleisch zusammengeschoben. Ehrlich gesagt war ich fassungslos. Welcher Koch besitzt solch eine Skrupellosigkeit ?? Ich habe mir dann etwas Anderes bringen lassen. Liebes Elbelandhaus, ich komme gerne mal zu ihnen und zeige Ihnen, wie man sowas zubereitet. Aber danke, dass ich mich an meinem Geburtstag so ärgern musste.

Food, service, location...everything is perfect. Whether in summer after a walk along the Elbe or in winter in front of the roaring fireplace, it is always nice to stop off at the Elbelandhaus.
