NORDSEE in Magdeburg

Unfortunately, the worst North Sea restaurant in the area. Customer service is either understated or nonsensical here. 2 hours after opening, we waited 5 minutes outside. One customer was sitting inside eating something. Otherwise, there was a sign in front of it so you couldn't get any closer. But it was open. The employees at the back were eating in the kitchen with their mouths open. My boyfriend squeezed through to ask. The menus wouldn't be available for another 10 minutes. Okay, but they didn't come to the front to serve us either. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time the employees have been unfriendly and overwhelmed. Last time, the food was also ice cold. Unfortunately, not again. Allee-Center is 1000x better.

I had the burger menu, and the best part was my iced tea... The burger was cold, even with the lukewarm salmon patty. The service is average. The decor itself is simply confusing.

The employees are very annoyed, lunch is often not served until 12.00 but that's no wonder when there are always too few staff. We have therefore gone to the Italian restaurant several times. It used to be very good here but that was a long time ago.

The service that day was unfriendly and not entirely focused.

Unfortunately, this place is only conditionally recommended. For many years, we regularly ate lunch at this branch. Unfortunately, that's no longer possible at the moment. What a pity. The fish portions on our plates have halved. The fried fish in a breadcrumb crust has doubled in size. Potato salad, made only with vinegar and cooking oil. The dill sauce was unfortunately watery and overly diluted. Tables are not hygienic (sticky). The cash register at the counter has been broken for some time. The general offer prices have been increased by 50 percent. On Saturday, March 2, 2024, we wanted to visit Nordsee Magdeburg. Unfortunately, at 11:45 a.m., no lunch was prepared! The displays were empty! We weren't offered any coffee ☕️ to while we waited. Okay, Germany or Magdeburg have never been a service wonderland! So, unfortunately, we had to leave this place hungry and drive to Nordsee Elbepark! Our visit to Nordsee in Florapark on July 7, 2025. Honestly, we haven't noticed any positive developments. Nordsee opens at 9:30 a.m., but unfortunately, lunch isn't available until 12:00 p.m.! It takes 9 minutes to prepare a fish burger and fill a shrimp box!

Queued for 20 minutes (there were only 6 people in front of us)

We ordered a burger and two herring baguettes. The burger was unfortunately cold. The herring was more like two pre-baked rolls with a completely careless topping. We are very disappointed.

My potato shrimp box has three shrimps and they don't make fish anymore because it's not worth it anymore and then I still have to wait half an hour, tables are dirty and greasy

Very poor service! Open until 8 p.m., but by 5 p.m., there are hardly any hot dishes left. Fried potatoes were gray, soggy, and cold. Smoked matjes was okay. The shrimp box was cold, and the shrimp were hard as rocks. The fried fish sandwich had soggy salad and barely any sauce, making it dry. Dirty tables that weren't wiped down. In the dish return, there were three plates of untouched food. Never again. The staff tried hard.

The service is nice, but totally slow and incompetent. The restaurant is closed at 5:00 p.m. It's just the outside counter on... No information to the customer as to why and why. It's a shame, the store used to be really good! The burger is cold and so is the fried fish baguette

Service was bad!! The two employees were too slow and mostly talked to each other instead of working!! Even though there were only 4-5 customers in total, the order took longer than 10 minutes and she completely forgot my order. I had to ask again otherwise I would never have gotten it!

"Ew." THE STAFF WERE TERRIBLE!!! IT TOOK 10 YEARS TO GET OUT OF THE LINE AND THEN SOME SPAGHETTI SULTAN PUNCTED HIS WAY INTO LINE, I DIDNT DARE TO EAT ANYMORE. The food wasn't salted enough (for my family member, I'd lost my appetite to eat), let alone warm enough. At least you don't get salmonella afterwards, which is why I was nice enough to give it 2 consolation stars. As Regina from Mean Girls would say: BURN IT. 💀💀 The staff couldn't speak ANY GERMAN!!! It was dirty and just... E-W. EW. So if you want to get cancer (literally) then be my guest and go eat there, but I swear try to go around it like Harry Potter in the Chamber of Secrets, i.e. AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!! Otherwise I'm off to watch season 2 of Arcane >:

Schade das es ab 15:00 kein warmes Essen mehr gibt . Zwei Mitarbeiter stehen Rum. Im Elbe Park,kann man kommen wann man möchte und warm Essen. Das heißt es dann setzen Sie sich und Ich mache es fertig und bringe Ich ihn am Tisch . Schade das es im Flora Park nicht funktioniert.

Very bad service, were here on Monday afternoon around 5 p.m. and is open until 7 p.m. If you wanted to have fish cakes you would be told “no more today, come back tomorrow.” When I asked if fish cakes were also sold individually, we were told "yes, from €10" which wasn't a problem for us as we wanted to buy at least 8 pieces. So the following day we went back to Nordsee in Flora Park because the children were really looking forward to the meatballs. But it then said that these were not sold individually (by the way, the same inflexible operation as the day before.) So we were able to save ourselves the trip. We and especially the children were very disappointed. Thank you for nothing! It was definitely our last visit there.

The service was unfriendly and uncaring and seemed as if serving customers was a nuisance. There was no question whether it was for consumption on site or to go. The employee decided that I would take it to go. A drink was not offered. The store was unclean and unkempt and the tables were sticky and dirty! The fried fish roll was definitely not fresh but hard and dry without salad. Remoulade was only portioned at the front edge so it looks like a lot at first. The potato wedges were lukewarm and limp and dripping with fat. The choice was also very small. I wasn't asked if I wanted the receipt for payment and it was destroyed at my own decision. My stomach was churning half the night. Not thank you again!

We actually like eating there, but we haven't been there for a while... Today at 1 p.m. there was no more hot food...everything was cleaned and empty. “Nothing warm today” - even in the evening 😕???? No wonder if the sales aren't right...

Not much going on at 4:11 p.m. and there's a 20-minute wait for food, there's nothing left in the display cases, and they're open until 8 p.m. Employees stand in front of the customer with cell phones in their hands and the tables and floors are dirty, so much for the cell phone in hand thing. Fish rolls look carelessly designed, there's not even any salad on them, you're looking for tartar sauce in the roll and it's so expensive. What happened to this store? I don't spend my money there anymore.

At lunchtime 1 service at the takeaway counter. There are no plate meals at all. Waiting time for a fish roll 30 minutes. Somehow this isn't customer service

Ate herring rolls for lunch on Wednesday. Vomiting at night, diarrhea for 2 days. I've been a regular customer for 6 years, but nothing was ever much cleaner in Havelpark.

I give 2 stars because the fried fish baguette itself was ok. But a question for Nordsee: what did you want to tell me with that little blob of remoulade sauce on the baguette? And I bought 2. On the second one there was the same small blob in the middle. I think that's a real shame. The sauce is the best thing about it. I definitely won't buy it again.

The social media team really puts a lot of effort into the app, the coupons, etc. But what's the point of all that effort if the employees in the branches aren't made aware of this development? First, no card payments will be possible for weeks. When ordering, each employee handles things differently. Some people want to see the QR code from the app beforehand, others want to see it when paying. But some don't scan the code, so you don't get any "fish". And then there are employees who look at you like a car when you show the QR code. There is really a great need for further training here. About today's visit: The food was okay, as always. But there are a lot of things wrong in the team. A young woman serves at the bread stand. She has to do everything herself: serve customers, prepare fries, shrimp and fried fish, and stock the displays. And since that's not enough, other employees keep interfering, for example deleting an order that the young woman had previously entered. Or you push between her and the cash register while she is putting in an order to get the fish sandwiches, etc. And all of this without saying a word. This is disrespectful to the employee and also to the customers. But the girl still smiles brightly at the customers. I would like to have your nerves. The shift manager calls into the kitchen to prepare this and that, but there is no feedback from the kitchen, but there are really poisonous looks. The team really has a problem with itself.

Sehr schlechtes Angebot !!!!!! Bis 20.00 Uhr geöffnet aber um 17.00 Uhr wird schon kaum noch warme Speisen angeboten. Die Sauberkeit könnte auch besser sein !!!!! Dreckige Tische die nicht abgewischt werden. Nochmal nicht!!!!

Das essen gat ganz schön nachgelassen,muss man nicht haben

Viele verschiedene Angebote und Menüs. Da sollte jeder fündig werden der etwas mit Fisch essen möchte. Ich hatte das Nudelgericht und es war sehr lecker. Die Zubereitung hat ungefähr 10-12min gedauert. Preis/Leistung passt 👍🏻

Am Samstag zu Mittag dort gegessen. Wir wurden schnell bedient, und der Mitarbeiter war sehr freundlich. Leider lag auf dem Boden unter einem der Tische Essen, nicht appetitlich. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder.

Nach dem ich mein Essen bestellt habe saß ich am Tisch, doch leider sehr unangenehm egal wo man sich hin setzen möchte Kleben die Tische. Nach dem ich darauf angesprochen habe ist nichts gegen unternommen wurden. Schade saß noch 1 Stunde um zu schauen ob was passiert aber nein wirklich peinlich. Hygiene im Gast Raum ist -5 Sterne

Der Junge Mann war sehr nett. Das Essen hat leider nicht wirklich geschmeckt und einen Picker für Essen das zum mit nehmen war habe ich auch nicht bekommen.

Alte harte Brötchen mit wabbligen Salat welche schon Stunden in der Auslage waren. Tellermenü ausverkauft um 15 uhr 🤣. Na klar. Nette Bedienung zumindest der eine junge Mann, der alles gerockt hat, wäre das sich die anderen drei Videos anschauen. Dreckige Tische, Essenablagen voll.

Wenn der Mensch nichts zu meckern hat, ist er nicht zufrieden! Zu wenig Remoulade, dass Blatt Salat ist zu klein, um 19.30 Uhr liegen nur noch 3 Brötchen in der Auslage... Sollen um 19.30 Uhr noch 30 Brötchen liegen, wovon 25 in den Müll fliegen?! Über einige Bewertungen kann man nur die Hände über den Kopf zusammen schlagen! Holt euch einen Gewerbeschein und macht es besser!! Lg

Unterirdische Service! Um 17.30 nur noch ein einziges Menü und das auch nur auf Anfrage. Auf Nachfrage die Antwort, dass 17.00 alles weggeräumt wird. Es gab noch Fischbrötchen und kleine Snacks. Die Kartoffelecken waren leider pappig und hart.... Ich esse wirklich gern mal Nordsee, aber hier werde ich wohl nen großen Bogen machen, wenn ich auf Essensuche bin. 2 Sterne dafür, dass ich überhaupt noch was bekommen habe 😅

Finden es nicht gut das gerade Samstags erst um 12 Uhr Tellermenüs verkauft werden.Dadurch geht man halt woanders Mittag essen .😐

Die qualität ist nicht ausreichend zu wenig Remoulade auf den brötchen und ein Blatt Salat ich persönlich empfinde das nicht angemessen aber anhand der Bewertungen kann ich sehen das die qualität gesunken ist.

Sehr leckere Fischbrötchen und tolle vegetarische und vegane Alternativen zu angemessenen Preisen. Super höfliche Bedienung, tip top!

Hatte mir eine Garnelen Box mit Cocktailsoße bestellt. Die zwei Sterne gibts nur für den Geschmack, denn die Garnelen wurden nur kurz aufgewärmt und waren lauwarm. Davon abgesehen war das Personal auch anscheinend sehr gestresst, bis zum hinteren Bereich hörte man die schlechte Atmosphäre. Private Sachen sollte man im Betrieb nicht lautstark ausdiskutieren. Diese Atmosphäre strahlte sich anscheinend auch auf mich als Kunde aus, ich kam mir als Kunde nicht erwünscht vor, Personal war mir gegenüber sehr genervt, unter Stress und zudem unfreundlich. Stress gibts auch mal im Betrieb, aber ich denke, dies nach Kunden auszustrahlen und mit rein zu ziehen ist nicht sehr Kunden lockend.

Wir gehen gerne zu Nordsee , bis jetzt war das Personal immer super freundlich, Essen war immer frisch ,es ist immer sauber und oft gibt es auch Coupons wo man ein wenig sparen kann 🙂

Personal ist immer freundlich. Für mich der erste Weg, wenn ich im Flora Park bin!

Wurden heute von einer sehr netten Verkäuferin Namens Dorit (laut Kassenbon) bedient. Leider haben wir solche nette Bedienung nicht sehr oft erlebt. Dankeschön dafür.

Ich komme gern zum Mittagessen vorbei! Alle Damen dort sind sehr freundlich, ein männlicher Angestellter nicht ganz so aber naja... Das Essen zum Mittag ist immer frisch und heiß. Preise sind angemessen.

Super nette Bedienung sehr ,sehr leckere Garnelen die man uns bis an den Platz serviert hat und die Brötchen waren auch Spitze. Restaurantbesuch war heute 16.00 Uhr und alles mega frisch .

Die Einrichtung fand ich ganz gelungen. Nicht so kalt wie in anderen Einkaufzentren. Die fish&Chips Box war so lala. Es lag wohl schon einige Zeit in der Theke. Dies war bestimmt dem geschuldet, dass im Center nicht so viel los war. Schade.

Ich bin heute da gewesen und muss echt sagen so nette Fachkräfte habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gesehen. Besonders die Nancy da die mich heute bedient hat also würde es in jedem Nordsee Lokal so eine Nancy arbeiten würde Nordsee richtig mit dem Umsatz durch die Decke gehen. Fazit gerne wieder und immer wenn ich zum Florapark gehe. :)

Das Essen hat massiv nachgelassen und nicht geschmeckt. Es war mal besser und das nächste mal gehe ich nicht noch mal dort essen.

Das Restaurant befindet sich im Nordwesten Magdeburgs im Flora-Park. Von der Aufmachung und Einrichtung unterscheidet es sich nicht von allen anderen Nordsee-Restaurants. Der Vorteil bei diesen Ketten ist halt im Wesentlichen, dass es keine Überraschungen gibt. Es ist vorher klar, was einen erwartet. Essen und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind durchaus in Ordnung. Um ab und zu mal etwas "fischiges" zu essen ist die Nordsee durchaus geeignet.
