Not recommended for a fast-food restaurant with an almost 40-minute wait. It wasn't even full. Today, December 14th, was the complete opposite. Top-notch service, super-fast service. Highly recommended if it stays this way.

Always clean, everyone is nice, food arrives quickly

The food at Burger Kind is very good, and it's especially convenient that the kids can entertain themselves on the games screen when the weather is bad (we did puzzles and coloring). When it's very busy, you sometimes have to wait a bit longer, but that's okay considering the crowds.

Ms. Retzlaff is extremely competent

I received a free portion of fries to write this review at the counter, but I edited it afterward to give an honest opinion. The food was exactly what I would expect from an average Burger King; the service was minimal since I ordered at the kiosk, but the food arrived quickly.

Fast processing, food hot and delicious

I have the utmost respect for the employees who work day and night in the kitchen or at the cash register. The price-performance ratio is good, and the store is easy to reach and clean. Keep up the good work!

December 1st, 2025: They advertise with Christmas baubles on the menu. The menu item is not selectable at the terminal, and when asked, they said no baubles are available. The restaurant is very dirty, and the staff speaks very poor German.

I waited an unreasonable 45 minutes for my food. I finally asked, in a rather rude and loud tone, where it was. The drive-thru was usually very quick. But when the place is on fire, the drive-thru is out of commission. So, the service time was absolutely abysmal. The place was filthy. Dirt on the floor. Tables hadn't been wiped down. The tray bin was completely overflowing. The people behind the counter were completely clueless and overwhelmed by the situation. They're understaffed. Maybe they should hire competent staff and pay them properly. Something was also missing from my order. I had to go back to the counter twice. I have no idea how a branch can be allowed to deteriorate like this.

In my opinion, Burger King is miles better than McDonald's. I always enjoy going there, especially for the Extra Long Chili Cheese Burger and Chili Cheese Nuggets 😋

Everything was great and delicious

I was here in the afternoon to kill time while I waited. Very friendly staff and a quiet, pleasant atmosphere, even suitable for working.

We were there on Sunday evening and tried the new Christmas Whoppers with cheddar cheese. They also came with Christmas ornaments. Unfortunately, they were sold out of Coke, but the fries and Whopper charms were a good alternative. The burgers tasted good – not quite like the Premium Selection, of course, but perfectly fine. The fries were definitely a 10/10 for this restaurant: fresh, hot, and nice and crispy. What was a shame: there were no cold drinks like Coke, Fanta, or Sprite, only iced tea. The staff was friendly, as always. The biggest downside: it was much too cold in the restaurant. It's really unpleasant without a jacket. Nevertheless, I'm giving it 5 stars because the food was good overall and the service was excellent.

What a disaster. I haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. We don't even need to talk about the service. Completely overwhelmed and rude.

The fries were properly salted and the toilet was clean. There were also ice cubes for the drinks. A good break on a long drive.

We went to the drive through to grab a quick burger to not waste time on our way to Berlin, but unfortunately it was anything but quick 😅. We were waiting approx 15-20 mins, when we decided to ask what was happening. It turned out it was already ready, they just forget to serve us. I think we will avoid these kind of drive through places in the future, we were lately always disappointed. The food is also low quality, so it just doesn’t worth it.

Every time, the burgers are cold. Dirt everywhere—on the seats, the floor, etc., etc. Your hand-held air freshener is a joke; you have to stand there forever for your hands to dry. Paper towels would be better! Update: 20 minutes later, I ordered another burger with extra toppings. What can I say? I unpacked it at the counter in front of the server's astonished eyes, and it was cold again. Not even close to being warm enough for the cheese to soften, let alone melt. It's practically free, after all…

This has absolutely nothing to do with a fast-food restaurant! It's Saturday lunchtime and there are only three employees there. The order order is completely messed up. The main thing is to cut staff. And on top of that, the burgers were cold...

One meal deal plus one burger, 45-minute wait. The order display was manually cleared every 10 minutes. An older female employee threw the food and ingredients onto the trays. Very uncoordinated and unenthusiastic work. The kitchen works quickly, and then the food sits for over 30 minutes before ending up on the tray or in the bag. No thanks, I won't be back 🤢

The order took 30 minutes, and then another 15 minutes wait for the burgers...total wait there 45 minutes. Never again...1 employee for both the drive-thru and the restaurant.

Everything's great. Mrs. Retzlaf is always so sweet, and with her, I never have to check if anything's missing. And it's always quick.

The place is a complete disaster. I haven't been there in a while, and it's gotten really bad. The fries for €4.70 were cold, soggy, and sticky. The double Whopper was acceptable, but lukewarm. And that was €9.50. A crappy slice of cheese costs €1.40. That's bordering on highway robbery for this price. You get a huge kebab for half the price. To top it all off, I was given almost €16 in change, some of it in tiny coins. I won't be seeing this place again.

We waited 31 minutes for our order: two burgers and onion rings. Nothing special or unusual. That shouldn't be happening.

Clean and tidy, and the food delivery from ordering to pickup didn't take long! Everything was warm and fresh!

I was there to "sweeten" the wait for my car at ATU. Next time, I'd rather go to a garbage dump. It's cleaner there.

There were times when everything was perfect. Orders were full and the wait time was acceptable. Now it's hardly any fun going there anymore. For example: When the chili cheese fries came out, I was absolutely thrilled. First, they reduced the cheese. But then there was suddenly a button on the terminal for more cheese, for more money, of course. Today I was horrified to find that there were only 5 (five) jalapenos left on the fries. When I asked the staff if they could maybe have a few more jalapenos, I was told that was the standard. Strange, the second portion had 9 jalapenos on it. Now I'm wondering, how many jalapenos is the standard? 5, 9, or maybe 15? Is there anyone who can explain this to me? I would be most grateful if the franchisee could try to explain it.

It's okay there. Not the prettiest BK. But you can eat citizens that fit.

It's just a Burger King, but I'm satisfied and I've never been short of anything. However, the lady at the drive-thru counter (the "new" one, not the housekeeper :)) is awfully rude in her communication. German is her native language, but she always gets along better with the foreign speakers.

Absolute disaster, takes far too long!

Completely unfriendly and always annoyed. It takes forever to get your food in the "restaurant," even though it's not full.

Very bad service, the foreman or boss who calls herself has no idea how to run a business. 19 customers kept coming back and said four or five were missing and then she keeps filling up the customers. She chooses drinks alone without the customers, so a very bad LAN, I wouldn't recommend it at all. It used to be better years ago.

What a mess Burger King is. Coupon couldn't be scanned, no problem, quickly to the staff... who didn't even realize that someone was standing at the counter (mind you, the store was empty except for two customers [now I know why]. The only advantage of not being noticed or noticed was that at some point, they got the note saying "Card payment system broken, cash only." We waited 26 minutes. Far too long. The new burger, "Kebab Style Lover with Beef Patty," for €9.19, is a disappointment.

The place is absolutely filthy and filthy. Ordering takes forever, tables aren't cleared, trash is piled up everywhere, and you're actually apprehensive about taking anything.

The new kebab burger is really delicious with the garlic sauce that tastes like Knorr's...but I'm not allowed to kiss anyone afterward ;)

A 25-minute wait is unacceptable. Staff shortages notwithstanding. They put away dishes instead of serving the customers. Not recommended. The customer used to be king. A shame.

This Burger King is very well-known. I would recommend the place because the staff is very friendly. The food here is delicious and fresh. The dining area, tables, and chairs were always clean and organized.

Sometimes the burgers are super delicious and the staff is friendly. The chili cheese nuggets are great.

Update: This "fast-food restaurant" is absolutely terrible. Waiting 30 minutes for food with five customers is sad. Never again!!!

An absolute disgrace! Since the entire staff was replaced with foreign laborers (NO RACISM!!), it's not uncommon to have to wait half an hour for your food at this "fast food restaurant," regardless of whether it's full or empty. It's just annoying, since it takes so long every time.

Disaster! Toilets broken, we used the disabled restroom, but the door was broken. The table was sticky, and we had to wait 20 minutes for our food. So, we won't be going back here. Addendum: I don't think it's the staff's fault. They did try.

Unfortunately, people ahead of me had already waited at least 45 minutes for their food. I ordered, and after a mere 35 minutes, I received my cold takeaway. While waiting, I noticed the unclean environment, but it was almost impossible to complain since the employees barely understand German. This was definitely the last time we went to Burger King on Neuen Sülzeweg, and we wasted almost €30 on cold food. Truly disappointing when you're looking forward to a Whopper and then get such a disgrace.

Hello, and thanks for nothing! I've been there three times in the last few weeks in Magdeburg North. Each time, the drive-thru is closed and the ice cream machine doesn't work. What do you actually offer? I'm kidding myself. Service is something else entirely, and if you can't do it, then don't offer it. What a disgrace...

We waited over half an hour for our food because there weren't enough staff and everyone who ordered takeaway got their orders first. Impossible!

Disaster! I had to wait 50 minutes for food, and that was in a fast-food restaurant. They even left things out of the kids' menu. How can you allow two employees to serve on a Sunday evening who, from the looks of it, lacked a plan or coordination?

We ordered two burgers. We waited 25 minutes, even though no other customers had ordered. The employee who prepared the burgers wasn't wearing gloves or an apron. He prepared the burgers even though he was touching so many other things without washing his hands at least once. The burgers were cold. If you pay with an EC card, you don't get your money back immediately. It takes up to four weeks. The employee was rude.

The burger bun was cold, dry, and hard. The fries seemed to have been sitting for hours, and they tasted that way, too.

I've been a regular guest here for years. I always liked the shift with all the ladies the best because they were the most relaxed, but everything always went smoothly. Recently there have been some major changes in the staff, which made the processes somewhat unreliable and there were occasionally longer waiting times. This has stabilized in the last month and the shifts are often similarly staffed again. During the last visit on April 28, 2025, the time between ordering and eating was just 6 minutes and there were no other products that were on display for an unnecessarily long time. There are other branches of Burger King and the Golden Seagull nearby, but I feel most at home in this one.

The burgers were warm and delicious, ordering was quick, the staff was very friendly, two game screens and a slide, but unfortunately, there's no room for changing diapers.

A large parking lot, digital ordering kiosks, or traditional ordering at the counter. All this is no problem at this superb Burger King. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the restrooms are clean. I'd happily take a small detour off the A2 again so I could relax a bit.

Unfortunately, I had to correct my review. Currently, orders are being delivered more and more frequently, and the staff reacts irritably to complaints. The wait time is extremely long. I ordered at 11:33 PM, and as of 12:15 AM, the order is still not ready, and I'm still waiting.

Such a crappy place, I really advise EVERYONE to never order from there again. My dad and I were there today and ordered 6 burgers from the menu, but in the end 2 of the most expensive ones were missing. We really always check 2-3 times to make sure everything was in the burgers. We then went back in and informed one of the staff. Well, in the end we got the missing ones, everything felt frozen and we drove home in a terrible mood. Update: 10 minutes later, we got home and the nuggets we thought were these weird spicy cheese pops.

The food was terrible, someone filmed me eating, and passersby threw trash around. The slide was wet and not suitable for fat people.

Once and never again!!! Waiting time after ordering? Almost 45 minutes. A customer sitting next to me who had waited for over an hour told me, "That's completely normal here." Seriously?! The order slips were completely mixed up, so customers who ordered far behind us got their orders much first. It felt like every second order went wrong; either something was missing or the wrong product was packed. In retrospect, though, you could have guessed something was wrong. Almost all the seats were occupied, but only two! tables had their food. The atmosphere in this store was correspondingly abysmal. Just a quick note on cleanliness: Two large tables were flooded with piles of trash because the trash carts (where the general waste was supposed to go) were completely overflowing. I've never been so disappointed!

So it had nothing to do with being fast. The burgers were cold and the drinks were undrinkable. The worst Burger King I've ever experienced.

I just wanted a still water and a medium fries. It took as if I'd ordered a five-course meal. The highlight was the tiny fries for €4!!!! Calling this tiny fries "medium" is a joke! The employee was friendly and wanted to show me the difference between the small fries and the bag. The bag was exactly the same. Disappointing. Bottomless! €4 wasted.

There hasn't been any ice cream for months. WHY doesn't this finally get fixed?!?! You know what a disappointment this always is for the kids.
