Of the four meals ordered, one is announced for a moment later, but no longer comes to the table. Service staff are happy about bad reviews because the bosses don't care about their opinion.
It's a shame. As a regular customer, I was immediately fobbed off and given the standard response that they don't deliver to any other address because they had a bad experience.
I'm sorry, but that's completely unacceptable. As a new customer, I fully understand this statement, but it doesn't belong to customers who have always had a great experience.
We receive deliveries quite regularly on Fridays for lunch and the food is always warm to hot. The taste is good, but with the cream sauce dishes you might like to add a bit of pepper or spices. Otherwise good and the prices are fair.
I would have liked to eat there, but I couldn't do it without paying an entrance fee to the lido.
What should you order online with pickup? It doesn't work without a beach.
I actually really like ordering from Yoko Sushi because they also have tofu rolls, which is rarely the case in Magdeburg. However, I don't like the sauces at all and that's why I wrote in the comment that I didn't want any sauces etc. Unfortunately that wasn't read and the sauce was on the sushi. Well, I thought, I'll just scrape them off. However, after the first piece of Crunchy Sushi (vegetarian), I noticed that both rolls were filled with chicken. So I called and complained. I was offered to remake the rolls, but since that would have taken time and I had already eaten, I asked if a refund would be possible. The employee was friendly and said she would send someone over to pick up the sushi with sauce and the one with chicken and bring the voucher with them. After a short while she came herself and gave me the voucher. It's a bit of a shame that the order value of the two returned products was €15.20 and the voucher was "only" for €15, but I'm not upset about 20 cents now. Just wanted to mention it. Next time I will order again via Wolt and pay with Paypal, because if there is something wrong with the delivery you will get the full amount refunded immediately.
Of course mistakes happen, but it's stupid to get meat instead of vegetarian and then the comments are ignored. There were also chopsticks, napkins, soy sauce, etc. in the order. It's a shame because I have it all at home and don't use it and had specially canceled it.
(Addendum 4 months later: I have now redeemed my 15€ voucher and ordered again. This time they managed to leave out the sauces on the 2 normal rolls, but both crunchy rolls were not as advertised. According to the description, there is avocado, cucumber, spring onion, carrots and sesame in them. Both rolls also contained seaweed salad, which I personally find super disgusting and would never have ordered if I had known and, above all, there was one in one Just like a cheap cheese sauce for Nachos. One was with cheese sauce and that others not)
This time we really tried hard and submitted the order numbers individually, but we didn't get the correct components and the order complete. The food is OK, but communication is unfortunately poor.
Man hat sich mit dem Essen keine Mühe gegeben es war leider nicht genießbar. Die Nudeln waren viel zu scharf und die galzone kann man selbst zuhause besser hinbekommen.
Heute war ein sehr trauriger Tag für mich. Seit viele Jahren, schwärme ich von den American Ribs des Chicagos. Es war eine Tradition für mich und meine Schwester sie dort zu genießen. Heute waren wir im Diner und wurden bitter enttäuscht. Leute ist das euer Ernst, bei einem Gericht, welches seit vielen Jahren der Renner ist eine komplette Veränderung vorzunehmen. Der Klassiker wurde laut Geschäftsführung im Juni 20 ersetzt, wo durch? Durch:billig, vorgefertigte in Plastik eingeschweißt Rippchen. Geschmacklich sehr fettig und absolut überwürzt. Es hat nichts mit den gewohnten Ribs zu tun. Ungenießbar!!! Sehr schade!
The Hegel is located in the city center not far from the Elbe and the cathedral. The restaurant serving German cuisine is very small and is located in a vaulted cellar. In addition to the excellent cuisine, the Hegel also offers local beer from the Magdeburg Sudenburg brewery (Helles, Pils, Rubin) as well as international specialties such as Guinness and several single malt whiskeys. I was able to have wonderful conversations with the innkeeper Thomas and the regular guests were also very friendly... let's summarize: The Hegel offers everything your heart desires... but it's better not to come spontaneously, the shop is small and popular... it's best to make a reservation.
