I was very enthusiastic about the great almond cakes, I can only recommend them. I haven't eaten such a full-tasting cake in a long time...

An extensive breakfast with a lot of choice, everything fresh. Service friendly and accommodating. Everything is consistent. We'd love to come back.

This restaurant is simply beautiful. Very pleasant atmosphere, the people are very nice and the food tastes delicious. I've been here 7-8 times now and have never been disappointed. The price-performance ratio is more than suitable! The ambience is very inviting and relaxing. The drinks are very varied and delicious.

Food was forgotten and arrived after the rest of the table had finished eating. BBQ ribs taste terrible. Incorrect amount on the invoice. Not recommended.

We sat outside on the terrace. Food was ok, nothing special, unfortunately fries have to be ordered separately with the burger, despite a decent price. Service was ok, but at times it was a bit confusing. However, everyone got what they ordered. The ambience is nice on the terrace in summer, but in a restaurant you might want to clean the ceiling of the terrace.

We had brunch here on Easter Monday. The food (selection and taste) was excellent. The furnishings are original. The service was very nice, but was numerically outnumbered by the number of guests, so ordering a drink wasn't always quick. But that's "grumbling" at a high level. The location is unique, the number of parking spaces (free of charge!) is great. It's best to make a reservation... Have fun!

Delicious food and drinks, something for everyone

Always worth a visit. There is something for every taste. (Dishes also change after a certain time) Service always friendly. Unfortunately, it's often quite full and the prices for the dishes are reasonable.

Come here very often, children's menu available, always tasty and friendly service. You like to stay there longer.

We really enjoyed it. From the parking in front of the house, to the ambience, not so cramped seating, friendly service, the food on offer and also the moderate bill. We'll definitely be back soon!

What's really impressive is the ambience, it's beautiful from the outside and even more beautiful when you go inside. Saturday evening. Ordered the food at 7:35 p.m.. 8:20 p.m. politely asked when we would get our food. Answer, it would be very full and we would like to be patient for another 30 minutes, then we would have our food freshly prepared...guests who came after us had already eaten in the meantime...8.50 p.m. food was finally on the table...one burger was cold, the second burger was lukewarm..We didn't eat the burgers...and, despite drinks on the house's account, we will almost certainly not be coming back...

Although the sun is shining outside, the outside terrace is apparently only used for decoration. When the customer asks whether he can sit outside, the answer is given: how do you imagine I'm wearing a T-shirt. You can also pick up the drinks you ordered at the counter and carry them outside to your seat. I was both a guest and a waiter in this café.

Long wait times, forgotten orders, small portions, expensive Poorly presented food

We went to breakfast today and had to wait an hour for our breakfast (one roll with sausage and cheese and one scrambled egg with bacon). Then the ham cubes with the scrambled eggs were simply rubbish and inedible. When you want to pay, no one's there, and you have to go to the bar yourself so you don't have to wait any longer than you already have to.

It was my first time here. It will definitely be my last. The dining room is a positive. I really liked it. The staff was also friendly and very nice. After 1.5 hours, we finally got our food. I had schnitzel with fries. The fries were way overcooked, and the schnitzels were evenly rounded, burnt on the edges, and overcooked. What a shame.

The food was good, it was very busy that day and since we couldn't wait long for food they made an effort to ensure that we arrived at our event on time.

We actually wanted to eat something. You come in and say "Hello" to several waiters, but you don't get a greeting in return. We then went to the outside area. Apparently no one is serving there. Nobody came out to inform us. We sat there as ordered and not picked up, and nobody came. I could have tried to talk to them, but I didn't because I didn't see the point. There was absolutely no hospitality at all, and there were enough staff standing to the side talking. They even noticed us when we came in. So it's not like there was a lot of stress and it all went unnoticed. It was simply a zero-fault attitude. I wouldn't spend my money there either. We left without saying a word.

We were here for breakfast. The buffet is very tasty and extensive. Unfortunately, we often had to wait for some items to be refilled. The atmosphere is inviting. One star deducted for the restrooms. They should be checked and cleaned more often. But unfortunately, the guests are responsible for cleanliness. The staff is very friendly and also accommodates children's requests.

March 2025 - I can only recommend this restaurant, the food I had (chilli cheese nachos, chicken burger with a side salad and chocolate cake, with vanilla ice cream and cream, plus a large Coca-Cola) was super tasty, the food was warm and a pleasant portion. The service of this restaurant is really nice and they also pay attention to every request and every mistake made so that the experience is great for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambience, I thought that it could be very loud because of the two streets, but you didn't notice anything from the street, in fact it was a cool experience with the view of the cars and the Elbe. The selection of dishes at the brunch is very tasty, fresh and sufficient; it is always quickly refilled when something runs out. However, I find it a bit confusing because you have to "pick everything up" from different corners and that's quite inconvenient, especially when it's very crowded.

We just drank and chatted. Music was a little too loud but ok! Answer: It was ok, otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. The staff was also very friendly, offered to help us, but then wanted to give him his tip and not his colleague, understandably.

We had personally reserved a table for 12 people for Saturday lunchtime weeks in advance. There was no table available for our family birthday party on the planned date. Not pretty, but it can happen. What shouldn't happen is being left standing there as a guest and being referred from one colleague to the next, only to be told, as you walk past, 10 seemingly endless minutes later, that the table is now ready. No regrets, no apologies, unconstructive protestations of innocence from individual employees, zero professionalism. So we can't say anything about the food, we left. Although we have had good experiences so far, we will not be returning. This was a really unpleasant situation for me and my guests on what was actually a pleasant occasion. Taking the visibly tense personnel situation and the lack of work organization out on the customer simply shouldn't be an option.

A wide selection of food and drinks. Very tasty and well prepared. The waitresses were all very friendly and remained calm and relaxed despite the large number of guests.

Three of us had dinner there yesterday evening. We were actually happy because we had already eaten there back then and the food was really tasty. Well the drinks came relatively quickly, but we had to wait 1 hour 20 minutes for our food. In the meantime, no waiter came by and asked if we would like something to drink or something else. Called a waiter and apparently our order was forgotten. Unfortunately, when the food came we were also very disappointed. It was cold, at most lukewarm and not very edible. A friend of mine is still sick from the food. What was good were the drinks and that the waiters were still quite friendly.

Ich war mit meinen Kolleginnen und Kollegen im Café de Sol. Ich war mega überrascht, positiv. Total gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Buffet ausreichend von allem konnte man sich bedienen, von herzhaft bis süßes, für jeden Geschmack. Alles frisch... Die Bedienung war super, charmant, humorvoll.

We ate there yesterday and had the Thai curry bowl with prawns which was tasty, although it lacked a bit of spice. The drink was a homemade iced tea which was super refreshing 5/5 for it. Ambiance is really nice both inside and outside. Gladly again

I had Pasta Spezia with “chicken breast strips” and have rarely eaten so badly. The sauce was a tasteless mush. The chicken breast strips did not have the consistency or fibrous structure that I know chicken breasts to have. Only the rocket on the pasta tasted good. There are two stars only because of the nice service.

We were greeted with a smile. We had teriyaki ribs with mini potatoes, which came highly recommended. Thank you for the super delicious food. A special thank you to Tim who served us so kindly and warmly.

The positive thing in advance: The service was very friendly and always had a quick saying. But the negative review outweighs the negatives. At our breakfast the sausage had already curled up and was very dry. The scrambled eggs didn't taste good at all and looked very unappetizing with extra bacon and another with tomato. Thrown carelessly on the plate is putting it kindly. But the worst thing was actually the toilet rooms. I haven't seen such dirty toilets in a long time. The inside of the window was completely full of cobwebs, the hand dryer, washbasin and hygiene bucket were covered in dirt. There's no wonder the smell when you enter these rooms. Just disgusting. We even took pictures, but I'll spare those here. The manager of this beautiful restaurant should be ashamed of herself.

I always really enjoy going here. But today I felt a bit ripped off. I had a large cappuccino with my meal today. Two cappuccinos of 4.30 euros each = 8.60 were then deducted from the bill. When I asked why she took two cappuccinos from me, the answer came - they are two small ones and make one big one. So I often go out to eat, even in expensive restaurants, but I have NEVER paid 8.60 euros for a cappu, 4.30 euros is already expensive but 8.60 euros is extortionate and cheeky!!!

The schnitzel you get looks nothing like the picture they put on the menu. It was over greased on the outside and dry in the inside. I was wondering if it was frozen supermarket schnitzel but that would be unfair for the frozen schnitzel. The salad dressing was very strong and drowned the salad, making it impossible to eat. Even the tomatoes looked very sad. The fries were meeeh. They definitely tasted frozen supermarket fries. Overall, horrible food, okay service and a good atmosphere.

The restaurant is very cozy and pleasantly furnished. Four of us were there on a Saturday evening without a reservation and got a table within 10 minutes. The choice of food was varied, the food was very tasty and the portions were reasonable (not too big). The price-performance ratio is right. On Saturday evening there was a predominantly younger crowd (between 20 and 30 years old) in the restaurant. The staff was also mostly younger (very pleasant). The restaurant and the toilets were clean and well maintained. In summer you can sit outside well.

Also wir wären schon oft hier essen und bisher jedes Mal relativ zufrieden, jedoch haben wir heute eine schlechte Erfahrung gemacht, das Essen war schlichtweg ungenießbar, wir hatten rundum das Gefühl, dass alles sehr nachgelassen hat, auch auch die Getränke, leider werden wir das Café del Sol bis auf weiteres meiden.

We often go to trade fairs in Germany and usually always eat at Café Del Sol, so far it has always been great. In Magdeburg we were initially unlucky because the food was cold and then only warmed up carelessly, which is a shame

I was looking forward to a nice brunch/breakfast, it's a shame that there was grain-free bread 2 months ago and not anymore!!! Would be deleted when the new map was created. All restaurants strive to develop further by offering grain-free and dairy-free dishes/drinks or products. It's a shame that it doesn't work with this chain. Cutlery isn't handed out enough, let alone cleared away, even though it's not full and the staff have time to chat. The salad department is very sparsely set up. The hot lunch station apparently dates back to the Stone Age with Kassler frozen vegetables and meatballs with sauce. The only thing that was really tasty were the brownies. The a la carte breakfasts are better than the brunch, which was really disappointing. I would have liked more selection of cheese, salad, dessert and cakes, pastries and grain-free products. There were 7 different types of bread and rolls for people to eat. Too bad.

We live nearby and are there often, I don't know what's going on. The waitress wasn't able to type in what we would like, drinks were 80 percent wrong. The appetizer I ordered, Olympia Fire with fried shrimp, was a warm liquid with 3 crumbs of sheep's cheese, 2 olives... I don't know what would have been in it if I hadn't ordered the shrimp separately. The description is feta cheese, with olives, etc. It doesn't say that it is a liquid mass, the waitress was unable to answer properly when asked...My dear, do you have a complaint? The question was extremely cheeky and not appropriate. Phew, I don't know if we'll go there again, it's a real shame.

Always happy to visit for a pinsa or a wok dish. The ice cream is wonderfully tasty. The service was always attentive, courteous and friendly.

There are enough parking spaces available. Service was friendly, but a bit rushed! We waited almost an hour for food, she forgot to place the order. Some of the food was cold and didn't taste that good. There is still a lot to be improved in this restaurant.

We went for dinner several times and it was very good. Today (11/20/24) great waitress and the rest of the staff were super accommodating. The ambience suffers somewhat because the volume in the restaurant (due to the design) is very loud for many guests.

Ordered a table for 12 people, it was placed at the corner. It was stupid for communication. We waited almost half an hour for the drinks. The dishes were not cleared away. The cold buffet was ok, the warm portion wasn't very appealing and at 12:30 only leftovers, with the statement that it won't be refilled anymore. The Kaiserschmarr'n, if that's what it was supposed to be! was very unsightly and tacky. The bill also had to be corrected by a few items. We were here two years ago and liked it a lot better. Too bad

We really liked it, we were here once with a girlfriend and another time with family. It was very nice. The only thing that bothers me a little is that there are only fries and the like and no potatoes. It's a shame.... But otherwise everything fits :))

Drink knocked over by the waitress and over her lap. Anything can happen, but you should at least make it up to the guest with a drink. The floor wasn't cleaned and the table wasn't wiped properly. Otherwise they were always very satisfied.

I recently dined there with my wife and son. First of all, the ambience. Everything is very rustic, clean and attractive, only the location (centre strip of the "highway") is not quite optimal, but it doesn't really bother you much. The staff is very friendly, ordering went quickly and our order came at the same time and in a really reasonable time for everyone. We all ordered something different and my wife and son were satisfied. I had barbecue ribs and can only say: The worst ribs I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Apparently they were just boiled or steamed. They definitely didn't see a grill, no browning whatsoever, absolutely no roasted aromas and unfortunately only lukewarm. I didn't eat them all either, they just didn't taste good. I told the waitress who then cleared the room, but apart from saying I'm sorry, nothing came. I'm not from Magdeburg, but the next time I'm there again, I'll probably go to the Chinese restaurant again. I definitely don't need this experience again...

A nice evening walk through the beautifully designed areas of the 2024 Light Park in the Elbarenpark Magdeburg! This is really great and worth seeing!

We were just here for a quick coffee and of course a piece of cake! Both very good and tasty, the atmosphere is very good! Oh yes and of course also very friendly service!
