The selection of dishes at brunch is very tasty, fresh, and plentiful, and they're always quickly refilled when something runs out. However, I find it a bit confusing, as you have to "pick and choose" everything from different corners, which is quite inconvenient, especially when it's very busy.

We just drank and chatted. Music was a little too loud but ok! Answer: It was ok, otherwise we wouldn't have stayed. The staff was also very friendly, offered to help us, but then wanted to give him his tip and not his colleague, understandably.

We had personally reserved a table for 12 people for Saturday lunchtime weeks in advance. There was no table available for our family birthday party on the planned date. Not pretty, but it can happen. What shouldn't happen is being left standing there as a guest and being referred from one colleague to the next, only to be told, as you walk past, 10 seemingly endless minutes later, that the table is now ready. No regrets, no apologies, unconstructive protestations of innocence from individual employees, zero professionalism. So we can't say anything about the food, we left. Although we have had good experiences so far, we will not be returning. This was a really unpleasant situation for me and my guests on what was actually a pleasant occasion. Taking the visibly tense personnel situation and the lack of work organization out on the customer simply shouldn't be an option.

A wide selection of food and drinks. Very tasty and well prepared. The waitresses were all very friendly and remained calm and relaxed despite the large number of guests.

Three of us had dinner there yesterday evening. We were actually happy because we had already eaten there back then and the food was really tasty. Well the drinks came relatively quickly, but we had to wait 1 hour 20 minutes for our food. In the meantime, no waiter came by and asked if we would like something to drink or something else. Called a waiter and apparently our order was forgotten. Unfortunately, when the food came we were also very disappointed. It was cold, at most lukewarm and not very edible. A friend of mine is still sick from the food. What was good were the drinks and that the waiters were still quite friendly.

Ich war mit meinen Kolleginnen und Kollegen im Café de Sol. Ich war mega überrascht, positiv. Total gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Buffet ausreichend von allem konnte man sich bedienen, von herzhaft bis süßes, für jeden Geschmack. Alles frisch... Die Bedienung war super, charmant, humorvoll.

***Update from March 8th, 2025*** Screwing up a reservation... Can happen. However, you should then act in a solution-oriented and friendly manner. Here I experienced the opposite. This doesn't need repeating. ***Original version*** You can park here, have a wide selection of food and drinks and there is also a toilet.

We ate there yesterday and had the Thai curry bowl with prawns which was tasty, although it lacked a bit of spice. The drink was a homemade iced tea which was super refreshing 5/5 for it. Ambiance is really nice both inside and outside. Gladly again

I had Pasta Spezia with “chicken breast strips” and have rarely eaten so badly. The sauce was a tasteless mush. The chicken breast strips did not have the consistency or fibrous structure that I know chicken breasts to have. Only the rocket on the pasta tasted good. There are two stars only because of the nice service.

We were greeted with a smile. We had teriyaki ribs with mini potatoes, which came highly recommended. Thank you for the super delicious food. A special thank you to Tim who served us so kindly and warmly.

We spontaneously got a table for 4 people on Saturday evening. 👍🏼 Food was great and came very promptly after ordering👌🏼

The portions are manageable for the prices. The waitress at our table preferred to joke with the girls' table behind us instead of asking us again what we wanted. Despite eye contact and gesturing.

The ambience in particular cannot be recognized from the outside. Located on a main street, a door opens into an excellent and very beautiful restaurant with its own flair. Very extraordinary! A table reservation is very advantageous on weekends.

I always really enjoy going here. But today I felt a bit ripped off. I had a large cappuccino with my meal today. Two cappuccinos of 4.30 euros each = 8.60 were then deducted from the bill. When I asked why she took two cappuccinos from me, the answer came - they are two small ones and make one big one. So I often go out to eat, even in expensive restaurants, but I have NEVER paid 8.60 euros for a cappu, 4.30 euros is already expensive but 8.60 euros is extortionate and cheeky!!!

The positive thing in advance: The service was very friendly and always had a quick saying. But the negative review outweighs the negatives. At our breakfast the sausage had already curled up and was very dry. The scrambled eggs didn't taste good at all and looked very unappetizing with extra bacon and another with tomato. Thrown carelessly on the plate is putting it kindly. But the worst thing was actually the toilet rooms. I haven't seen such dirty toilets in a long time. The inside of the window was completely full of cobwebs, the hand dryer, washbasin and hygiene bucket were covered in dirt. There's no wonder the smell when you enter these rooms. Just disgusting. We even took pictures, but I'll spare those here. The manager of this beautiful restaurant should be ashamed of herself.

I went there for the first time with 3 friends but was disappointed by the atmosphere. The music was so loud that you could barely hold a conversation. The tables were far too narrow. Service was very nice, food was good

The schnitzel you get looks nothing like the picture they put on the menu. It was over greased on the outside and dry in the inside. I was wondering if it was frozen supermarket schnitzel but that would be unfair for the frozen schnitzel. The salad dressing was very strong and drowned the salad, making it impossible to eat. Even the tomatoes looked very sad. The fries were meeeh. They definitely tasted frozen supermarket fries. Overall, horrible food, okay service and a good atmosphere.

Super tasty and great location, if it's a little fuller you have to make yourself known if you still want to drink 😄.

The restaurant is very cozy and pleasantly furnished. Four of us were there on a Saturday evening without a reservation and got a table within 10 minutes. The choice of food was varied, the food was very tasty and the portions were reasonable (not too big). The price-performance ratio is right. On Saturday evening there was a predominantly younger crowd (between 20 and 30 years old) in the restaurant. The staff was also mostly younger (very pleasant). The restaurant and the toilets were clean and well maintained. In summer you can sit outside well.

As always, the reception was very friendly and competent. The order was very quick and very friendly. The food was very well prepared and lovingly prepared. The service is super friendly and helpful. Also wir wären schon oft hier essen und bisher jedes Mal relativ zufrieden, jedoch haben wir heute eine schlechte Erfahrung gemacht, das Essen war schlichtweg ungenießbar, wir hatten rundum das Gefühl, dass alles sehr nachgelassen hat, auch auch die Getränke, leider werden wir das Café del Sol bis auf weiteres meiden.

We often go to trade fairs in Germany and usually always eat at Café Del Sol, so far it has always been great. In Magdeburg we were initially unlucky because the food was cold and then only warmed up carelessly, which is a shame

I was looking forward to a nice brunch/breakfast, it's a shame that there was grain-free bread 2 months ago and not anymore!!! Would be deleted when the new map was created. All restaurants strive to develop further by offering grain-free and dairy-free dishes/drinks or products. It's a shame that it doesn't work with this chain. Cutlery isn't handed out enough, let alone cleared away, even though it's not full and the staff have time to chat. The salad department is very sparsely set up. The hot lunch station apparently dates back to the Stone Age with Kassler frozen vegetables and meatballs with sauce. The only thing that was really tasty were the brownies. The a la carte breakfasts are better than the brunch, which was really disappointing. I would have liked more selection of cheese, salad, dessert and cakes, pastries and grain-free products. There were 7 different types of bread and rolls for people to eat. Too bad.

We had a spontaneous date here and got a great place straight away. Particularly noteworthy is our waitress Vivien, thank you for being so cool.

I can really recommend the restaurant. There is something for every taste and the staff is very friendly.

We live nearby and are there often, I don't know what's going on. The waitress wasn't able to type in what we would like, drinks were 80 percent wrong. The appetizer I ordered, Olympia Fire with fried shrimp, was a warm liquid with 3 crumbs of sheep's cheese, 2 olives... I don't know what would have been in it if I hadn't ordered the shrimp separately. The description is feta cheese, with olives, etc. It doesn't say that it is a liquid mass, the waitress was unable to answer properly when asked...My dear, do you have a complaint? The question was extremely cheeky and not appropriate. Phew, I don't know if we'll go there again, it's a real shame.

Unfortunately the music is loud so you can't have a normal conversation. Food and service are good.

Always happy to visit for a pinsa or a wok dish. The ice cream is wonderfully tasty. The service was always attentive, courteous and friendly.

There are enough parking spaces available. Service was friendly, but a bit rushed! We waited almost an hour for food, she forgot to place the order. Some of the food was cold and didn't taste that good. There is still a lot to be improved in this restaurant.

We went for dinner several times and it was very good. Today (11/20/24) great waitress and the rest of the staff were super accommodating. The ambience suffers somewhat because the volume in the restaurant (due to the design) is very loud for many guests.

Ordered a table for 12 people, it was placed at the corner. It was stupid for communication. We waited almost half an hour for the drinks. The dishes were not cleared away. The cold buffet was ok, the warm portion wasn't very appealing and at 12:30 only leftovers, with the statement that it won't be refilled anymore. The Kaiserschmarr'n, if that's what it was supposed to be! was very unsightly and tacky. The bill also had to be corrected by a few items. We were here two years ago and liked it a lot better. Too bad

We really liked it, we were here once with a girlfriend and another time with family. It was very nice. The only thing that bothers me a little is that there are only fries and the like and no potatoes. It's a shame.... But otherwise everything fits :))

Drink knocked over by the waitress and over her lap. Anything can happen, but you should at least make it up to the guest with a drink. The floor wasn't cleaned and the table wasn't wiped properly. Otherwise they were always very satisfied.

Had dinner. It was almost impossible to have a conversation. People hardly understood them. There is music playing and the whole restaurant is generally very restless. The lemonades taste delicious, but we were disappointed with the food. My pasta arrived cold and was simply carelessly prepared and not beautifully presented on the plate. The dessert was ok. Wouldn't necessarily come back now. Edit 1 year later: We ate here again. The ambience is still very loud. Also very uncomfortable seating. The additional topping was forgotten in my meal and was added later. Pinsa was good. Still didn't convince me though.

I recently dined there with my wife and son. First of all, the ambience. Everything is very rustic, clean and attractive, only the location (centre strip of the "highway") is not quite optimal, but it doesn't really bother you much. The staff is very friendly, ordering went quickly and our order came at the same time and in a really reasonable time for everyone. We all ordered something different and my wife and son were satisfied. I had barbecue ribs and can only say: The worst ribs I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Apparently they were just boiled or steamed. They definitely didn't see a grill, no browning whatsoever, absolutely no roasted aromas and unfortunately only lukewarm. I didn't eat them all either, they just didn't taste good. I told the waitress who then cleared the room, but apart from saying I'm sorry, nothing came. I'm not from Magdeburg, but the next time I'm there again, I'll probably go to the Chinese restaurant again. I definitely don't need this experience again...

A nice evening walk through the beautifully designed areas of the 2024 Light Park in the Elbarenpark Magdeburg! This is really great and worth seeing!

It's a schnitzel holiday right now, reorder as often as you can and want.

We were just here for a quick coffee and of course a piece of cake! Both very good and tasty, the atmosphere is very good! Oh yes and of course also very friendly service!

Food was great, everything was beautifully arranged. Unfortunately, the waffles and Kaiserschmarrn were already empty an hour before the end of brunch time and were no longer refilled. Empty plates were not even cleared away during the stay.

We came here on Sunday evening after swimming, relatively spontaneously. It was relatively empty, so we had no problem finding space for three people. Our order was also taken quickly. Afterwards we didn't have to wait long for food and drinks. So we thought it was good here and would come again

Nice ambience, a bit of a train station feeling because of the high ceilings but great design. Food very tasty, also a small children's menu (something healthier would be desirable). Fast and courteous service.

We were 5 people. According to information, the toilet was very dirty and there was no cutlery such as napkins at the table. Do I have to classify the store as not friendly.

Few visitors, 3 wait staff chatting. Only after a sign from me does a service come. The side salad was smaller than a side dish! I found the cobwebs above the windows in the guest room and the toilet annoying.

We were in the restaurant for dinner, the waiters were okay, the pizzas (they're called something different there) weren't that good, the base reminded me of a bad frozen pizza. I can recommend green tea as a drink.

The service was tried hard but with 2 employees for all the guests...that can't work. My partner's food was very tasty, unfortunately mine was too hard and dry. It was very, very loud, which unfortunately made conversation almost impossible. From 8 p.m. onwards it became quieter, I would recommend reserving a table only then.

The food (buffet) was okay... Comparable to AL..X. The service was good despite the local being full. The ambience is pretty nice in itself, but the loud music and traffic noise get annoying at some point.

We were there on a Friday during prime time. It was correspondingly full and the staff were busy. However, you were very friendly. It took quite a while from ordering to delivery of the food. For me it's okay, it's just not an "all you can eat shop". The food came at the same time & was very good. With 9 adults and 3 children we paid an average of €22. Gladly again.

I've only heard good things about the restaurant so far, some have really raved about it, but today I was convinced otherwise. After placing the order, the waitress was gone for some time until she came back and told me that the starter I had ordered was out, very strange on a Friday evening at 5 p.m. Then rearranged. The curry cream soup with chicken breast strips tasted more like a lemon soup, perhaps it was a splash^^ too much. Chicken breast strips were also in there, two of them. Main course: Burger patty well done, if you offer burgers, I expect you to ask for the desired degree of doneness, or if you don't ask, at least fry them medium. The rocket dominated the Bruger with its strong taste. For me, cucumber and tomato don't belong on a "chilli burger", but you can try it. The fries were ok, there are better and worse ones, the cheese sauce that was specially ordered didn't taste good at all. No cheese taste at all, more sour and an artificial taste. The waiting time wasn't ok either. Arrived at 5 p.m., starter at 5:45 p.m., main course at 6:30 p.m. Frying fries and grilling meat can't take that long and especially not if the "mise en place" is well prepared. It wasn't a brilliant achievement, but I'd be happy to be convinced otherwise on a possible second visit. It would also be helpful to have a holder^^ for the menus or for the waitress to take the cards with them after placing the order. The cards are impractical for the round tables, which are much too small, and are annoying if they lie on the table all the time.

Very different staff in terms of friendliness. But there are definitely employees who make your day. The food is good, but the drinks are best. There are cozy corners to sit in, otherwise it's pretty loud.

The food was good. My bowl was better than my husband's schnitzel. Service friendly and open-minded. We sat on the terrace. Even though there was traffic on both sides, it was comfortable there. It would have been even cozier if the furniture had seen a rag. Then it would have been four stars for the ambience.

I've been here several times but the burgers have been better. The patty was more than cooked through and the bun was also a bit dry. For a price of €13 just for the burger, I expect more.

Unfortunately, the Del Sol in Magdeburg has lost pretty much everything it had to offer at the beginning. Unfortunately, when it was 33 degrees in summer, the fans inside were broken and the sun outside was so unfavorable that we couldn't sit there with our troops. Sun constantly on your back and no sensible protection against it. We had to wait a while for the drinks even though the restaurant wasn't full. The toilet situation was again what cost a whole star. Unfortunately they were unclean and before we could go to the toilet we did a little cleaning ourselves.

Very nice restaurant. We wanted to have breakfast and had reserved the table for 11:15. Unfortunately we were not told that the breakfast buffet would be cleared away at 12:00 p.m.
